A/N: This is for the 'More than a Name' challenge (Antonin Dolohov), the Every Kind of Pairing challenge (slash pairing), and the Up to 50 Different Pairings challenge.
Regulus lay on the bed taking in his husband's form.
A part of him still couldn't believe that he had stood up to his father and chose Ant over his family, but he knew that he couldn't live without him.
Ant's face looked youthful, and unencumbered with worry; unlike his waking moments. It seemed that he could find some peace after all.
He had been worried that Ant was volunteering for too many assignments from the Dark Lord after returning from their honeymoon. His husband had dismissed his worries and said that he would slow down once his current ones were complete.
"Are you watching me sleep?" Ant mumbled as he opened his eyes.
"You looked peaceful. I didn't want to wake you," Regulus admitted.
It was abnormal for him to wake up before Ant which made him more worried than he already was.
"I thought you would be getting ready for your meeting with Lestrange," he said sleepily.
Regulus frowned.
He hated the reminder that he owed a favour to the other man for running interference whilst they were on their honeymoon. He knew that the older man wouldn't do something like that without wanting something in return.
"That's not until this afternoon. Rabastan sent an owl yesterday morning to change the time as he had other errands to run this morning."
"You know if you don't feel up to doing what they want, I'll do it for you," Ant said, looking in his eyes.
"I know you would, but I need to get used to things if I'm going to be doing more for the Dark Lord. If I can't handle what Lestrange throws at me, how am I supposed to cope with something the Dark Lord wants doing?" Regulus asked.
"I see what you mean. You can still ask me for help if it gets too much though. I wouldn't be surprised if they asked you to do something really foul. I don't trust them, and I don't like that we owe them," Ant stated.
"I don't like owing them either. I'll figure it out once they tell me what they want later. Hopefully that will make us square."
"Why don't we forget about that for a while and enjoy the rest of the morning," Ant said suggestively.
"That sounds perfect to me," Regulus replied leaning in for a kiss.
