A/N: And hello, everyone! It is time for an update for this story! I apologize for taking so long with this, I had other stories that I wanted to update, and of course new ideas came to mind, but here's an update now! YAAAAY! Anyway, it's time to see just what's happening to our young Time Patroller as he awakens in this strange new world that is indeed part of his original timeline. I hope you all enjoy it! Oh yeah, also, for those of you who want to know what Tundra sounds like, his voice sounds like Cooler's voice in the English dub of the movie Cooler's Revenge.

Training Begins! The Avatar Meets The Time Patroller!

Korra was standing at the foot of the bed watching this strange lizard creature with big, curious cyan blue eyes. She had never seen something like it before. She didn't know if it was a spirit or not, but it looked cool to her.

And red.

Very red.

It had been three days since the creature had crashed out in front of Korra's house, and he - at least they think it's a 'he' due to the body type - was still unconscious. He was breathing well and Katara had already long since healed a vast majority of his injuries. It was mostly broken bones from the impact of the crash as well as burns to the epidermal layer of his skin. Katara had marveled at this creature's rate of healing, as she had never seen anything like it in her lifetime.

Anyway, during the creature's time unconscious, Tonraq had called in Katara's son, Tenzin, as well as Katara's brother, Sokka, and Firelord Zuko for a meeting. Mostly, they had been going over just what this creature could be and how to go about interacting with it, whether it could be hostile or not. Korra didn't really understand, most of what the adults had been saying went completely over her head, so she had just tuned them out. The creature's eyes scrunched up tighter as he started grunting and groaning, his masculine voice confirming the theory that he was a dude, and as sweat began to pour from his brow the young Avatar could tell that he was having a bad dream. She ran up to the head of the bed and placed her hand on his face, gently stroking his cheek like her mother would do for her when she had bad dreams. The effect was almost instant as he began to calm down and lean into the touch.

With a sigh, his eyes began to open, revealing that they were just as red as his skin. That was very weird as people normally didn't have naturally red colored eyes. The creature sat up in bed, the blanket falling down to his lap.

"Nngh… what's going on?" he asked.

Korra didn't dare speak up as the creature stood up from the bed and walked towards the window to look outside.

"Where… am I?" he asked as he observed his surroundings. "The sky, the land, so much like the arctic on planet Earth. But this planet… I can sense that it's not Earth."

That's when the door opened as someone made themselves known.

"Oh, good! You're awake!"

The creature, who we all know is Tundra, turned around and saw an elderly woman with dark skin and white hair done in a braid and hair loops standing in the doorway holding a small bucket of water. He also finally noticed Korra who had ran over to the old woman's side, looking back at him with big, curious eyes.

'Who are they?'

Korra made an inquisitive noise as she continued to stare at him.

'I've never seen either of them before…'

"Ah, so you're finally awake. Well, that's wonderful." the old woman said as she walked over to a desk by the bed, prompting Korra to squeak and follow her. "You were in pretty rough shape when you got here, young man, and I'm honestly surprised that you survived such a crash, given the injuries you had sustained. And here you are up and about as if nothing happened! Your rate of healing is astonishing, I've never seen anything like it in all my years!"

She set the bucket on the ground next to the bed and draped her heavy parka over a nearby chair revealing the long sleeve shirt and pants that she wore underneath.

"My name is Katara, and I am the village's healer." the woman said before patting Korra on the head, the little girl giggling and leaning into her touch. "And this little firecracker is Korra. She's a little hyperactive, even for her age, but she's a good lass. You don't seem like you're local person, and as hard as it is to believe, I don't think you're human either. But you don't seem to be bad. Are you new to planet Elementia?"

'Planet Elementia? Is that really the name of this planet?' Tundra pondered.

"Let me just borrow your arm for a second there, 'kay?"

Katara took his arm, revealing a scuff mark that was stained purple with Tundra's blood. To Tundra's surprise, Katara moved her hand and the water from the bucket rose up and out before she coated her hand in the water as it began to glow. Gently pressing her hand to the wound, Katara spread the water across the scuff on Tundra's arm. The young member of Frieza's race watched in stunned silence as his arm was not only washed clean of blood, but his wound was also healed right before his very eyes.

'The way she's manipulating the water is like nothing I've ever seen. It's working in a similar way to the liquid in the medical machines that Frieza and his soldiers use.' Tundra thought as he had a brief flashback to when Vegeta was in such a pod. 'The pain is fading… and so is the wound…'

Within seconds, the water evaporated to reveal that the wound was fully healed, and not a trace of his blood remained on the previously afflicted area.

"What the hell is going on? Have I… truly returned to my true timeline, or am I somewhere else?" Tundra pondered barely above a whisper.

If Katara or Korra heard him, they likely ignored him. Especially as Korra walked up to him and surprised him by taking a hold of his much larger hand with her smaller ones.

"Hey mister, what's your name?" she asked.

Tundra gently removed his hand from hers, crossing his arms and closing his eyes as his tail twitched.

"I'm sorry, young one, but I'm not quite ready to tell anyone who I am just yet. I have a… troubled past, so to speak." Tundra said.

Korra made a disappointed sound before her attention was caught by something else. It was a sound unlike any that she's ever heard before. Katara and Tundra also heard it as they looked out the window, and Tundra's eyes widened in shock and fear.

"What? That's impossible!" exclaimed Tundra.

What he saw was a small, disc shaped vessel that bore a striking resemblance to… Frieza's ship!

It descended farther and farther until a cloud of snow was kicked up as it finally landed.

"It looks like it landed somewhere deeper in the village." observed Katara.

Tundra didn't waste any time. He immediately jumped out the window and, to Katara and Korra's immense surprise, flew off in the direction of the ship! They had no idea that there were creatures and humanoids that could fly without wings or gliders! This was an incredible discovery!

Meanwhile, it was utter chaos in the village as energy blasts wrecked everything in sight! People were running for their lives, screaming in terror, and over all just trying not to get killed! Tenzin, Zuko, and Sokka, along with many of the waterbenders of the village tried to fight back, but these two individuals who had disembarked from their ship and started shooting up the place with wrist-mounted blasters were just too strong for them! They easily evaded any attacks using bending, and Sokka couldn't get close enough to attack with his sword! Even his trusty boomerang was useless against these guys! Nobody had been killed so far, thankfully, but nobody knew how much longer that would last for.

The two in question are both males with strong, muscular builds like martial artists, and they're wearing strange armor unlike anything ever seen. One of them was tall with green, scaly skin like a reptile, his eyes were completely red, and his lips were rather bulbous, He also had an appendage on his head like a shark's dorsal fin. His companion had blue skin, yellow eyes that looked more normal, and his head more closely resembled a bat with very large ears.

"Listen up, you primitive whelps! Starting today, planet Elementia is under our control! Anyone who dares to defy us or our leader, Master Snower, better have their grave dug!" the blue thug said, cackling like a madman.

"Hey, punks!"

The two thugs turned their attention to a nearby glacier and saw Tundra standing there, glaring at them with nothing but malice. Tundra wasn't blind, he didn't need a Scouter to know that these two had pathetically weak power levels. Higher than almost anyone else on this planet, but not high enough to be a threat to him. If he had to guess, Tundra would estimate these two's battle powers to be just pushing a thousand each. Which will just make it all the more satisfying for him when he kicks their teeth in for daring to harm the innocent and try to conquer this planet!

Yeah, call him a softie, no longer having the same battle edge he had before joining the Time Patrol. But his parents taught him to always help those in need. And that's what he's going to do now.

"Dumbass, you must really have a death wish if you're picking a fight with us." taunted the blue thug.

Tundra just stayed silent as he glared.

"Hey, you got a problem or something, you walking sunburn?" asked the green thug.

He shot an energy blast at Tundra who moved faster than the eye could track as the blast blew up the glacier. Tundra burst out of the smoke and with a sickening squelch, he punched a hole right through the green thug's stomach! The big-lipped goon was coughing and gagging as he choked on his own blood, barely standing as Tundra ripped his arm out of him.

"Bastard!" roared the blue thug.

He aimed his blaster at the Frieza Species, but Tundra was too fast for him and punched him so hard, he skipped like a rock across the ground before slamming into a stone cliff face and died on impact. Both thugs fell to the ground as Tundra landed in a crouching position before he scoffed and stood up.

"I'll have you know that my parents were happily married when they adopted me." Tundra couldn't help but quip.

A little something for the blue bastard to think about on his way to hell. Slowly the villagers of the Southern Water Tribe, along with Tenzin and Zuko who were helping Sokka to his feet, emerged from their various hiding places. Soon, they were smiling as they ran to their savior giving words of praise and thanks for his help. Tundra simply held up a hand to stop them, his expression stony and serious.

"Don't get the wrong idea. I didn't come here to save you all. Just a happy accident." said Tundra.

The villagers didn't know what to make of this, standing there in stunned silence as the red reptilian humanoid flew off in a random direction. A few minutes later, he touched down at a cave that was, thankfully, made of stone instead of ice.

"This'll do for some peace and quiet for a while." Tundra said as he walked into the cave.

Now, cold temperatures don't normally bother the Frieza Clan member, but he still started a fire to keep warm as he sat down on a rock, leaning against the cave wall as he thought back on recent events, trying to make sense about what was going on.

"What in the hell is this place? I used the book containing my history up until I left the Time Patrol to try and go back home, but was caught in some sort of explosion, and then…"

Moments from the past flashed before Tundra's eyes, but the memories were blurry. Like somebody had taken pictures with a very old and low quality camera. Gritting his teeth, he clutched his head at the oncoming migraine.

'Damn! I can't remember anything after that!'

He was snapped out of his musings when he sensed a small power level from outside the cave.

"Who's there?"

Walking into view was a little girl. In fact, it was Korra. And held in her arms was a basket that was full of food stuffs from what Tundra could smell.

"Uh, it's me, sir. Korra. From the village, remember?" she said as she walked into the cave.

She didn't get farther than the mouth of the cave as Tundra walked over to her with a questioning look on his face.

"I, uh, brought food. Mommy and Katara thought you might be hungry." Korra said.

She held out the basket to him and Tundra saw that it was filled with cured meats, such as fish, some bread, and a few bottles of fresh water. It was probably food that the people who lived in the arctic had learned how to prepare over generations of surviving in such an inhospitable climate as this one. Tundra simply crossed his arms and looked away.

"That's very thoughtful of your mother and the elder, Korra, but you shouldn't have followed me. Go back home now." Tundra said.

"Huh? But, uh…" stuttered Korra.

Tundra just knelt down and put a gentle hand on the girl's shoulder. He never could get mad at a child. Besides, she wasn't here to cause trouble, and he sensed that Korra had a very good soul. But so long as the Time Patrol, or even whatever group those two goons used to be a part of, were looking for him anybody close to him could end up caught in the crossfire. Hence why he flew off to a more solitary place to rest.

"Kid, you need to go back home. I just want some time to myself, okay?" Tundra gently instructed.

Korra looked sad and disappointed, but she nodded anyway to show that she understood. The little girl had been hoping to make friends with the lizard man, but maybe now wasn't the best time.

"Oh… okay. I'll just… leave it here, then." Korra said.

She set the basket down and quickly bowed before she took off running back home to her village. Tundra watched her go and sighed. As much as he didn't want her to go alone, he knew, in his mind at least, that this was the best move. But then his stomach growled indicating that he was clearly hungry. He gave his stomach an annoyed groan before looking at the basket of food.

No sense in letting all of that go to waste.

Hours later, Korra was walking with her mother back to the cave where Tundra was staying. They had prepared a fresh basket of food, this one also containing some furs and a blanket for warmth, in hopes that he had eaten what Korra brought him before. When they got there, they saw Tundra doing push-ups with one arm, his other behind his back. As Korra took a closer look she broke out into a big smile and laughed.

The basket she brought before was empty! He ate it all!

She quickly replaced the empty basket with the new one and ran back to her mother, the two beginning their walk back home. Tundra had sensed the two come and go and glanced to the mouth of the cave where they had been. He just didn't understand why Korra seemed to gravitate towards him so much.

"Weird kid."

He just went back to doing his push-ups, wanting to make sure he got back into fighting shape due to his time on probation and being barred from training during that time dulling his combat edge somewhat. And what better way to restart one's training than with some good old-fashioned exercise?

A few days had passed since Tundra had awoken from his slumber and killed those thugs and Korra was once again bringing him food. She was laughing as she ran to his cave but was startled out of her laughter and stopped in her tracks as he walked out of the cave and towards her. He still had that serious look on his face as he approached and Korra closed her eyes, whimpering as she thought that she must have done something to upset him. But no pain came. She opened her eyes and saw that he had taken a couple of pieces of bread from the basket and sat down on a rock by a fire as he started eating at a sedated pace.

Seeing this, Korra couldn't stop the big grin that formed on her face. She earthbended a rock up out of the ground next to him and sat down as he gave her a piece of bread.

"Tundra."

"Huh? What was that?" Korra asked.

"Tundra." he said, taking a bite of smoked fish. "It's… it's Tundra."

Korra made a noise of understanding and smiled as she said, "Oh, Tundra… so, that's your name, mister! It's Tundra!"

She took a bite of her own bread and giggled as she kept saying his name. Something that, for reasons he didn't know, warmed Tundra's heart more than he thought possible.

~Deep Space~

Out in the deep reaches of space, a large ship similar to the one that invaded the Southern Water Tribe was flying about at a leisurely pace.

"I'm rather curious as to why we have not received contact from those imbeciles." said a regal voice with a slight edge of anger.

"Ma-Master Snower, we've been trying nonstop, but we-we haven't been able to pick up any signal from them." stuttered a member of the crew who was also an alien.

The owner of the first voice chuckled and said, "Perhaps the people of Elementia overpowered them."

A set of feet that looked like hands with three digits each touched down on the ground as someone made their way to the main viewpoint.

"Wait a moment, could it be that somebody in this very cosmos…"

We now see that the owner of this voice was a member of Tundra's species! He was currently in his third regression form, more commonly known as the first form, which was very short and usually was only about four feet tall. He had icy blue skin, dark blue stripes on the sides of his face starting beneath his eyes, and a white carapace growing on his head, forearms, lower legs, and the tip of his tail. He had a dark blue bio-gem in his head, two horns growing out from the sides of his head that were made from the same carapace, and pink patches on his arms, legs, and tail. He wore red armor with gold trim on his upper body, and a pair of black shorts that looked like wrestler trunks. He was smirking with unholy malevolence that only a true tyrant could have.

"...Would be foolish enough to challenge the almighty Lord Snower?"

He cackled at the mere thought of someone being foolish enough to challenge his rule. He's killed life forms for less!

Like the clawfores.

Dirty, money grubbing clawfores.

Tried to clorf him right out of his money.

Blew those little bastards up is what Snower did!

"Shall we plot a course for Elementia, my lord?" asked one of his navigators.

"No. Leave them be, for now." Snower replied, surprising the whole crew.

"But… but why?" asked the same navigator.

"It's simple, really. Whoever defeated those two was no ordinary fighter. I want to lull them into a false sense of security, allowing them to stagnate in a false time of peace and tranquility. Then, when they believe that there is no one stronger than themselves in the universe, we'll fly in and utterly crush them and everyone that they love!" Snower replied with a sadistic grin. "Oh, their tears… their tears of utter hopelessness and despair shall be so sweet…!"

Even though Tundra has left the Time Patrol and dealt with a smaller threat, it's clear that there are still many enemies in this timeline. And he may be the only one who can put a stop to them. One thing is certain, though…

He won't have to do it alone.
