Hey guys and gals, welcome to the newest chapter of Hero of remnant and woo boy it's been a while.
As you guys may or may not remember I recently decided to rework this story a bit to drop the whole constellation aliens plot (don't even remember their names hah).
The reason I did that was that it was really needed and I just did it because this was my first non-toku story.
But with that said, in this chapter, we'll be doing the rest of the initiation arc so let's do this!.

Emerald forest
Third-person P.O.V.
OMNITRIX DETECTED! OMNITRIX DETECTED! BEGINNING CAPTURE PROTOCOL!
"Huh?!" "Wha!" Ventus and Reina jumped, as several brown droids and began aiming their blasters at the two.
"These are the droids from last night right?" Reina asked, as Ventus growled "Yeah, but what are they doing here! And why do they want Omni!".
"I don't know, I haven't seen these" Omni said, looking at the droids with a worried expression on his face.
"Hmm, so you're the brats that took the Omnitrix" they heard, looking over to see Grim walking down towards them.
"Who are you!" Reina yelled, pulling out her weapon as Ventus readied the Omnitrix.
"Hmph you can call me Grimm, and I'll be the one who will be taking the Omnitrix," he said, with a smirk under his mask before he waved his hand causing the droid to activate and fire at the two.
Reina used her semblance to create a barrier around the two, protecting the two from the blasts.
Grimm rose an eyebrow as he scanned the girl noticing energy emanating around her 'Huh, energy similar to an Anodite didn't see that one coming…'.
Reina then expanded her shield to touch the droids causing them to short circuit and fall.
She then broke the shield as Grimm applauded them "Not bad kids, but now you're going to have to face me".
"I'm counting on it, Omni let's go!" Ventus smirked, as Omni entered the watch before dashing towards Grimm much to Reina surprise "Ventus! No!".
With a bright green flash, Ventus transformed into his heat blast form.
"Let's see you take the Heatblast!" He said, tossing two fireballs towards Grim.
However when it hit him there was a bright red flash, and when it died down Grim was now transformed into what looked like a diamond head except with a Grimm's colouring.
"What!" "He can transform too!" "How is that possible!" Ventus, Reina, and Omni gasped, as the now transformed Grimm smirked.
"You didn't seriously think you were the only one who could do this right?" Grimm asked before he fired several black diamond shards at Ventus.
"Woah!" Ventus yelled, barely dodging the shards before growling "Oh this is gonna be interesting" he smirked, charging up a large fireball but then…
Beep! Beep!
With a bright red flash, Ventus returned to normal making him blink a few times "Uh, Omni?".
"I'm sorry, We've already used up a lot of energy," Omni said, as Ventus looked down "SERIOUSLY!".
"Hah! Looks like it's my win" Grimm laughed, firing several shards at the teen but then a pink barrier intercepted them.
"We have to go!" Reina said, rapping the energy around Ventus's waist "Hey wait for a minute-aaaaahhhh!" Ventus screamed as Reina flew away on a platform.
"Tch" Grimm scoffed, returning to normal as he waved his hand "After them," he said, as several droids flew after them.
Meanwhile with Yang
"Hellooooooooooooo?" Yang yelled as she walked aimlessly through the dense Emerald forest looking for anyone.
"Is anyone out there? Helloooooo?" She said, continuing to walk unaware of the shadowy monsters around her.
"Oh come on! I'm getting bored around here" she groaned, before hearing the small rustling of the bushes behind her catching her attention as she turns to look at them.
"Is someone there?" She wondered, walking over and parts the bushes to glance inside "Ruby? Is that you or is it Ven?"
A snarl came from the bushes, and Yang looks up to meet eyes with whatever was in there.
"Nope, definitely not them" She simply says before rolling out of the way, as Ursa comes from the bushes and tries to claw her.
"But acts like Ven," she said, before she unfolded her weapons, two gauntlets called the Ember Celicas, ready to fight off the bear-like Grimm.
That is until another comes from the bushes opposite and also tried clawing her, but Yang just backflips out the way.
One of the Ursa charged at Yang, but she reels back her fist and punches it right in the gut, knocking it back with an energy-filled bullet.
The other came swinging in, aiming for her head but she evades the attack and, uppercut the monster into the air and then kicking it next to the other Ursa.
"You guys wouldn't happen to have seen a girl in a red hood would you?" She asked, as the Ursa stood on their hind legs and roared at her.
"Could just say no" she said, entering a fighting position. One of the Ursa tried to claw at her, but she effortlessly dodged doing rolls and backflips.
"Geez, you two couldn't hit the broad side of aba-" Her eyes widened when a single strand of blonde hair fell to the ground.
"You…" she said, her eyes turn red and her voice filled with rage. "YOU MONSTERS!" she roared, throwing her arms to her sides, causing a minor explosion propelling her towards the Grimm.
She punches it in the face making its head jerk to the left, then uppercutting, hitting it up a little before pumping the shot-gun function of her gauntlets and commences with her assault by punching and punching and punching the black monster.
"UGLY! DARK! BONE! RED-EYED! SON OF A BITCH" she roared, and with one last punch, the Ursa crashes through a group of trees, leaving stumps and twigs on the ground.
The other Ursa comes up behind her, wanting to avenge its comrade "WHAT YOU WANT SOME TOO!" She yells at it, her eyes still red as she glares at the beast.
The Ursa stands on its hind legs, growling at her but then its whole body stiffened, as a whoosh and slice noise is heard.
The Ursa fell, revealing Blake as she pulled her weapon, the Gambol shroud, from the corps before folding her weapon sheeting it on her back.
Yang pouted, as Blake walked away "I could have taken him" she said, following her new partner.
Cliff
Third-person P.O.V.
We now see Ozpin and Glynda standing on the side of the cliff as the initiation test to get into beacon academy continued.
"Sir, two more teams have just formed," she said, looking at the screen "I feel bad forms. Belladonna having to work with such a rowdy girl".
"Well we will just have to see," Ozpin said, before sipping a cup of coffee "Is there anything else to report?".
"Checking now," she said, scrolling through her tabloid before her eyes widened "What?!".
"Is something wrong Glynda?" Ozpin asked, with a raised.
"I don't know how to explain this but we'll just look," she said, showing him a video of Ventus and Reina being chased by the droids.
"What am I looking at exactly?" Ozpin asked, as Glynda, looked down "I don't know, but the Valiant siblings are being chased by some kind of robot, should we intervene?".
Ozpin closes his eyes and sipped some of his coffee "No".
"What why not!" Glynda said as Ozpin looked to her "These youths are training to be hunters, they need to be able to expect the unexpected, we will only step in if things are too far, but I believe they handle it".
"…Yes sir…" Glynda said, looking down.
Meanwhile with Ren
Third-person P.O.V.
We see Ren walking through a deep section of the emerald forest all alone, at least until he heard a sound.
He stopped in the middle of a meadow, eyes narrowing and scanning the area around him, feeling a presence curling around the area.
Soon he noticed a massive black snake with small amounts of white armour on it, two blood-red eyes and markings going across its body.
The snake leapt from the grass opening its jaw to eat Ren in one go but Ren leapt away, bringing his twin pistols out of his sleeves.
He jumps out of the grass into the air before firing away bullets that bounced off the snake's hard scales.
The Grimm tries to bite him mid-air, but it was kicked back by Ren causing it to collapse onto the ground.
The Grimm attempted to get back up but Ren slashed it with the blades on his gun.
The Grimm hisses before circling Ren for another bite, but he kicked it back.
He then landed on the Grimm's head and stabbed in the top of its head with his knives but as he did, he didn't notice the Grimm's other head.
Ren barely had the chance to dodge the Grimm's bite as he looked at its body, it looked like a giant double-sided snake one head black and the other white.
He jumped on top of the black snake and started running along its body while firing at it with his two guns.
He continued doing so until the white head came crashing into him, knocking him to the ground before the Black Head came in to try and eat him.
"No!" He yelled, as a magenta coloured barrier surrounded his body giving him the chance to grab the Grimm's teeth before he ripped them out.
The Grimm growls in pain and lashes out with the intent to kill but he spun out the way and chucks one of the fangs into the black head's eye.
Ren then pulls his weapon back before swinging at the large Grimm's head, decapitating it.
As the blackhead fell to the ground, the white half roared before dashing towards Ren, wanting revenge for its other half.
But before it could something from the tree's fired at the large snakes head, giving Ren the chance to dash back in and a slice of its head like the snake's brother.
Ren landed the Grimm dead body, panting very heavily before slips his weapons back into his sleeves and pats his arms, dusting the Grimm dust off.
"Qraaaw! Qraaaw!" He heard and smiled before looking up to see Nora hanging upside down in front of him.
"Heh, I still don't think that's what a sloth sounds like" he smiled, and to answer Nora just pressed his nose.
"Boop!".
Forest
Third-person P.O.V.
We see Weiss blocking a strike from the Beowulf she was fighting with her rapier before jumping back and taking a fencing position.
'Okay Weiss, remember your training' she thought, lifting her head, shoulders and moved her forward.
She slowed her breathing and waited for the right moment to strike before… "NOW!".
She rushed towards the large Grimm about to strike it with some fire dust and all was going well but then…
"Gotcha!" Ruby screamed, slashing the large Beowulf across the chest with her scythe.
"WHAT?!" Weiss gasped, before stumbling, accidentally shooting the fire, at a tree lighting it ablaze.
"Huh?" Ruby gasped, before being slapped back towards Weiss by the Beowulf as more and more started appearing.
"We have to go now!" Weiss yelled, shooting fire to block the Grimm before grabbing Ruby's wrist and dragging her off.
The two of them safely made it up to the top of a hill. Both of them were breathing and panting heavily "What was that?! That should have been easy!" Ruby yelled, rubbing her head.
"Maybe if you had practised even the slightest amount of caution I wouldn't have burned down the forest" Weiss yelled, pointing at her partner.
"And what's that meant to mean!" Ruby scoffed, as Weiss crossed her arms "I'm just surprised that someone who talks so much would be so bad at proper communication during a battle".
"Oh well, I'm so sorry that you need my help to win a fight! If I was on my own I would've already been done" Ruby said, crossing her arms while narrowing her eyes at Weiss.
"Well, congratulations on being the strongest child to sneak your way into Beacon, bravo," Weiss said, walking off making Ruby frown "AAAAAHHHH!" She screamed, slashing down a tree before following Weiss.
"Why are you even here! Your just some little brat who got lucky" Weiss said, as Ruby growled, "Well at least I'm not some jerky jerk princess who thinks she can do whatever she wants!".
"Ugh! Just keep moving" Weiss scoffed, while walking off "Oh just keep moving! Hurry up! Wah, watch where you're going!" Ruby said, imitating Weiss "Why are you so bossy?"
"I'm not bossy! Don't say things like that" Weiss said, turning her head "Stop treating me like a kid!" "I'll do that when you stop acting like one".
"And I'll do that when you stop acting like your so perfect!" Ruby said as Weiss turned her head "I'm not perfect, not yet but I know I am leagues better than you".
"You don't even know me" Ruby frowned, following her.
What they didn't notice was a large black feather falling behind them before a large shadow covered them.
"Huh? What is it now-" Weiss said before they both turned around and their eyes widened "AAAAHHHH!".
Meanwhile with Ventus, Omni and Reina
We see Ventus and Reina landing on the ground, as the droids flew over them still attempting to search for the siblings.
"Okay, I think if we stay low we should be able to miss their radar" Reina said, looking up.
"Now let's leave before they-" Reina said, looking over at Ventus who had twigs and leaves all over his hair and clothes "Oh uh sorry".
"It's fine," he said, wiping the twigs and leaves off himself "Let's just get the relics and get out of here before that jerk finds us".
"What are you talking about? You're going back to the cliff and tell the professor everything about the watch and that Grim guy" she said, as Ventus turned to her
"What why! We still have the initiation to do" he said, as she looked at him "I can get the relics, you should go somewhere safe so that guy won't get you".
"What! I can handle him!" He said, showing the Omnitrix "Omni and I can handle anything he can throw at us".
"Right sure, you showed that you can handle him earlier," she said, sarcastically.
"Why are you always like this!" Ventus yelled. "You didn't want me joining beacon, you didn't want me stopping that train heist and now this!".
"BECAUSE I'M WORRIED FOR YOU! YOU IDIOT!" Reina yelled, surprising Ventus.
"EVER SINCE YOU WERE A KID YOU ALWAYS GOT IN DANGEROUS SITUATIONS! BE IT BY ACCIDENT OR ON PURPOSE!" She yelled, steeping close to him.
"THIS IS WHY I DIDN'T WANT YOU JOINING BEACON! YOU'RE TOO RECKLESS AND NEVER PRACTICE CAUTION! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT MEANS TO BE HUNTER" she yelled, pointing at him.
There was a silence between the two as Reina looked down "I…I just don't want to see you getting hurt… you're my little brother and I don't want you killed" she said, as Ventus looked down.
"Alright…I'll go… be careful…" Ventus said, using the Omnitrix to transform into Xlr8 and dash back to the cliffs.
Reina continued looking down, gripping her bow weapon before she continued her way through the forest.
Temple
Third-person P.O.V.
"Think this is the place?" Yang asked as she looked down at the large old temple "Jost likely let's take a closer look".
They both jumped down the hill they were on and walked up to the temple, and at the site, there were several pedestals with chess pieces there.
"You think this is the artefact?" Blake asked as Yang looked at them "I guess, there are some missing so I guess we're not the first one to get here".
"It's not like this place is that hard to find," Blake said, looking over at her new partner "Hmm, I think I'll take the cute Horsie".
"Guess I'll take the same," Blake said, grabbing another piece before suddenly hearing something "Do you…hear that?".
"Hear what?" Yang asked, putting her chess piece away
"Sounds like… someone's coming," Blake said, looking over to the bushes to see Reina walking out.
"Oh… this is the place," she said, as Yang smiled as she walked down towards Reina. "Yo Reina, where's you're partner have you not found one?".
"No… I did, it was Ventus… but…" she mumbled, as Yang blinked "Let me guess you two fought didn't ya?".
"Yeah…" Reina said, looking down "I was just worried that'd he would do something reckless and get in trouble".
"Yeah, guess I know whatcha mean," Yang said, scratching her cheek "I mean I was pretty surprised when Ruby got in, but I trust Ruby that she'd be able to handle this, and I think you should have more trust in your brother".
"Yeah… I guess you're right" Reina said, a small smile on her face.
Meanwhile with Jaune and Pyrrha.
We see Jaune and Pyrrha looking up at a large cave in front of them "Think this is it?" Jaune asked Pyrrha who closed her eyes "Not sure…".
"Well we should at least take a look," Jaune said, as the two walked inside.
The cave was quite dark, and they weren't able to see a thing. Jaune had to make a torch just to see.
"I don't think this is it," Pyrrha said, looking worried as Jaune looked at her "Pyrrha, I made the torch. Could you at least humour me for maybe 5 more feet?"
Jaune then trips on a small rock, unseen in the dark, dropping the torch, snuffing it out "Ow…" he said, shaking his head.
"Jaune… do you feel that?" Pyrrha asked as Jaune stood back up "Soul crushing regret?" "No… it's warm?".
Jaune and Pyrrha round a corner and find a floating gold object "That's the relic!" Jaune said, running to the object.
He reached for the gold object only for it to move back "Hey! Bad relic!" He then jumped up to catch the golden object "Gotcha!" He said as it tried to shake him off.
"Jaune…" Pyrrha calls to him, worry in her voice as she makes out the shape inside the shadows.
"What! I'm bus-" Jaune says when he was brought closer to a large body, six insectoid red eyes glowing, revealing the rest of the Grimm's massive body.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"
Back with Reina and the others.
"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
"Some girls in trouble!" Yang said, looking towards the direction of the scream.
"Then what should we-" Reina said when they heard the sound of something above them.
"HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDSSSSSS UUUUUUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPPP!".
They looked over to see Ruby falling from the sky, Reina was about to make a platform for her when Jaune crashed into her.
"Did your sister just fall from the sky?" Blake and Reina asked, as Yang just had a confused face "Uhh…".
Then suddenly a large Ursa burst out of the bushes and roared before falling on the ground revealing Nora on its back "Aw~ Ren it's broken".
We then see Ren stumbling out behind the Grimm tiredly "Nora... please don't do that again" he said, looking over to see Nora already looking at the chess pieces.
"Ooh," she said, before picking up a rook piece "I'M QUEEN OF THE CASTLE! I'M QUEEN OF THE CASTLE!".
"Did that girl just come in riding an Ursa?" Blake and Reina asked as Yang's confused face grew "Uhh".
"Ow," Ruby and Jaune said, as they walked out of the forest.
"RUBY!" Yang called, as Ruby parked up "YANG!" She said, running up to her sister.
"Geez, what happened to you?" Yang asked as Ruby looked up "Well…".
Flashback
"This has to be the dumbest idea I've ever heard!" Weiss yelled as she and Ruby rode on the back of a large bird Grimm called a Nevermore.
"Then why did you do it?" Ruby asked as Weiss rolled her eyes "B-Because it was the only plan we had".
"Oh come on, we're fine so stop worrying," Ruby said, as Weiss glared at her "How are we even meant to get off this thing".
Ruby looked down as an idea popped into her head "We could jump?".
"What are you, insane?!" Weiss said, looking over to Ruby who was already gone.
"OH, YOU INSUFFERABLE LITTLE!".
Flashback end
"And that's pretty much what happened," Ruby said, as Yang laughed "Geez seems like you had a crazy time" she laughed.
Suddenly we see the giant scorpion Grimm come out from the forest while chasing after Pyrrha.
"Did she just run all the way here with a Deathstalker on her tai-" RAAAHHH! I CANT TAKE TI ANYMORE!".
Suddenly flames burst around Yang as her eyes turned into a bright red "COULD EVERYONE JUST CHILL OUT BEFORE SOMETHING CRAZY HAPPENS AGAIN!".
There was an awkward silence for few seconds.
"Uh, Yang?" Ruby said, pointing up making everyone look up to see Weiss barely hanging on to the Nevermore.
"How could you leave me?!" Weiss cried, as Ruby frowned "I said, to jump," Ruby said.
"She's gonna fall," Ren said, as Ruby smirked smugly "She'll be fine".
"She's falling!"Reina yelled, running up as Weiss fell off the Nevermore.
Weiss came plummeting to the ground, screaming at the top of her lungs and but Reina created an energy slide so that she could safely land.
"Hah…hah… thanks Reina" Weiss huffed, as Reina smiled "No problem".
Pyrrha was then thrown to the ground next to them by the Deathstalker, skidding to a halt "Great! The gang's all here, now we can all die together" Yang said, sarcastically.
"Pssh, I got this" Ruby said, unsheathing her crescent rose.
"What no you don't!" Jaune yelled, but Ruby ignored him and ran towards the Deathstalker.
Ruby tried to hack at the Deathstalker with her scythe but with to no avail as she was knocked back by its tail.
"D-Don't worry, I got this," she said, changing her scythe into its gun mode and firing at the large Grimm.
The bullets were deflected by its armour making Ruby decide to turn back and run but then the Nevermore reared its wings back and flung an armada of razor-sharp feathers that impaled the ground in front of her.
"RUBY!" Yang yelled, rushing towards her sister who was about to be impaled by the stinger.
'Yang! Ven! Somebody help me!' Ruby thought, closing her eyes as the stranger came closer.
Suddenly a pink barrier surrounded Ruby's body as several ice spikes came out of the ground, knocking the deathstalker back.
Ruby blinked a few times before turning her head and saw Weiss stabbing her sword into the ground while Reina used her semblance.
"RUBY!" Yang yelled, hugging her sister tightly "Don't you ever do that again!" She yelled as Ruby patted her back "Eir…Pwease" she struggled, to say.
After Ruby was freed Weiss walked up to her "Ruby Listen" She said, as Ruby looked at her "Uh Huh?".
"You're childish, dim-witted, and hyperactive. And don't even get me started on your fighting style" she said, as Ruby looked down.
She then took a deep sigh and looked directly to Ruby "But I suppose, I can be a bit… difficult. But if we're going to be partners, we're going to have to do this together. So if you quit trying to show off, I'll be… nicer."
"I'm not trying to show off I want you to know I can do this" Ruby said, as Weiss put a hand on her shoulder "You're fine." She simply says, before walking away.
The group of nine then heard the two Grimm recovering so they decided to grab their relics and escaping.
With Ventus and Omni.
We see Xlr8 run-up to the cliff, before returning to his normal form and walking back to Beacon.
"…Ven… are you alright…' Omni asked, floating behind him but Ventus continued staying silent but stopped walking "Ven?".
"Hey, Omni… do I deserve your help?" He asked, surprising the ghost "What?".
Ventus looked at the Omnitrix with a frown on his face "I promised that I'd help you out… that I'd help you find your memories… but all I've done is benefit myself… I don't even deserve this power".
"Ven…" Omni said, before looking down "You are right… all that you've done is benefit yourself… but…".
"You've also done a lot to help people as well like when you helped on the train…and honestly I've had fun helping people and getting to experience so many things so… I'm happy to be your partner".
"Omni…" Ventus said, looking up to his partner before smiling "Thanks".
"And know what! Screw what Reina says! I do belong here and I'm gonna pro- is that a giant fire?" Ventus said, pointing a large fire at the outskirts of the forest
"Ven, I'm detecting Omnitrix energy over there, Grimm must be over there," Omni said, as Ventus frowned.
"And if I'm a betting boy, I can bet that's where the others are" Vent said, taking off his jacket before tying it around his waist.
"You ready Partner" Vent asked, as Omni "Yeah, I'm with you!" Omni said, entering the Omnitrix making the dial pop up.
"Oh, but could I suggest something before we go," Omni asked, as Vent turned his head "What?".
Omni then proceeded to whisper to Ventus as he nodded "Ooh that's a good idea, alright it's hero time!" He yelled, before slamming the watch causing a bright green light and when the light died down, he was now in a new form.
"BIG CHILL!" Ventus yelled, before looking at his body "Ooh, gotta admit that did feel good I gotta do that more often".
"Come on, let's go," Omni said, as Ventus nodded "Alright," he said, unfolding the cloak around him before flying towards the fire.
"Also, Hero Time?" Ventus asked, as Omni shrugged "I don't know, it just came out" he said, before continuing to fly towards the fire.
A few minutes earlier
Third-person P.O.V.
We see the group of nine running through an old destroyed temple, as the two Grimm chased after them.
Jaune then looked up to see something flying in the sky "Uh guys, what's that fiery thing in the sky?".
The other looked up at the figure as it shot a stream of fire behind them towards the forest, blocking the two giant Grimm from going after them.
The figure landed on the ground revealing that it was heatblast except with a Grimm colour as the others stepped back, well everyone except Ruby and Jaune.
"Ah! Vent you finally found us!" Ruby said, walking up to Heatblast much to everyone surprise.
"Ruby you idiot what are you doing!" Weiss yelled, as Ruby smiled "Guys don't worry, I know it's a crazy story but that's Vent" she said with a smile.
She looked over at Heatblast who only smirked before throwing a fireball at her, much to the girls surprise "Woah!" Ruby said, barely dodging the attack.
"Hey what do you think you're trying to do to my sister!" Yang yelled, glaring at Heatblast.
"Vent what's wrong with you," Ruby said, using her semblance to dodge the blasts.
"Ruby! That's not Vent" Reina yelled, making Ruby blink "Huh?".
"Pretty smart Anodite" Heatblast said, confusing Reina as he pressed the watch on his chest returning to normal, revealing Grim.
"Now why don't you tell me where the pipsqueak with the Omnitrix i-" he said, before dodging a punch from Yang.
"How dare you hurt my sister! You freak!" Yang screamed, her eyes turning red but Grim just smirked.
He jumped before slamming down on his watch, transforming into his version of four arms.
"Transform into as many freaks as you want! I ain't letting you get away with hurting my sister" Yang yelled, sending several punches toward Four arms.
The mutant tetroman just smirked and grabbed Yang's arms with two of his arms, before extending blades from his other arms and attempted to slash her.
"No!" Blake yelled, shooting Four arms in the face pushing him back, and allowing Yang to break free.
The rest then rushed towards Grim but he just smirked before pressing the watch on his chest.
With a bright red flash, he transformed into a Grimm version of Xlr8.
Pyrrha and Weiss were first, using their swords to slash at Grim, but he wrapped his tail around Pyrrha sword and threw it to the ground before he kicked Weiss in the gut.
Nora and Ruby were next, using their larger weapons to get the Alien from behind but Grimm just slammed on his watch, blinding them.
When the light died down, the group of nine were met with a great stink, as Grim flew up revealing he was in his stink fly form.
He then shot his liquid from his four eyes, sticking the two hunters in training weapons together.
Grim laughed at the girls before dodging out of the way of some bullets as he looked down to see the rest of the shooting at the alien.
"Alright, I've had enough," he said, before slamming the watch again.
He landed back on the, now as a Frankenstein and Grimm looking alien with black skin and white spikes. He charged up electricity in his arms before shooting it towards the group.
They were about to hit them, but then another alien came in and absorbed the blast before shooting it up into the sky.
He looked to have a black body with several cables around it, on his hands, head and tail.
"Just made it" the alien smirked, as he pressed on his watch, returning to normal revealing Ventus.
"VENT?!" The others all said, at the same time as the boy looked back "You guys miss m-WOAH!" he said, raising his hands as almost all of them pointed their weapons at him.
"You're with him ain't ya! You're just copying Vent to trick us" Yang yelled, as Ventus shook his arms "No guys it's me".
"Likely story, except we saw you turn into that monster, you're just as stupid as that shortie" Weiss scoffed.
"WHO YOU CALLING SHORT ICE QUEEN!" Ventus yelled, making them blink "Woah, it is him".
"Whatever," he said, before turning over to Grim.
"You made it, you're going to give me the Omnitrix now or all of your friends are going to die, Pipsqueak" Grim asked, as Ventus smirked "Oh I'm going to enjoy kicking your ass".
They two slammed their watches, as Grimm transformed into Stinkfly and Ventus transformed into Jetray before they both flew into the air and began fighting.
"Ventus! Wait!" Reina yelled, following her brother with a platform.
The others were about to follow but then the Nevermore and deathstalker came crashing through, as the flames finally dissipated.
"Oh, right these guys," Yang said, as they all readied their weapons.
"Get ready guys! Here they come" Ruby said, as the Grimm came running towards them.
With Ventus and Reina
We see Jetray chasing after a stink fly who was shooting his acid at the alien.
Jetray was barely able to the acid before shooting lasers back at the alien.
Then suddenly several dust arrows passed by Jetray and shot at Stinkfly "Huh?" Jetray said, turning his head.
"Reina?" Jetray said as Reina looked to her brother "I'm not just letting you go do something stupid on your own".
Jetray smirked, before looking back at Grimm who was landing on the ground "Then, let's work together!".
The two landed on the ground as Grimm smirked.
"Hmph, I don't care how many people come at me… I WILL GET THE OMNITRIX!" He yelled, slamming the watch.
With a bright flash, he transformed into a white and black iguana looking alien with a strange icy mist around him.
He took a deep breath before shooting a large ice blast at the two so Reina created a barrier to protect them.
"Omni! What kind of alien is that" Jetray asked, looking down at the watch on his chest.
"It's a mutated polar mandzadrill, an alien that lives on a planet with multiple different terrains on it".
"Any weaknesses? I can't hold this for much longer?" Reina asked, still trying to block the ice "If it uses its ice for too long it'll need to take a break, and that's your moment to strike".
"Then I've got the perfect alien for this" Jetray said, before slapping the watch on his chest.
"SWAMPFIRE!" He yelled, now in his Methonsian form.
"Ugh, what is that smell" Reina asked, almost puking as she looked over at Swampfire who shrugged.
"Don't blame me this is a new one, I was going for Magkngiht" He said, as Omni beeped.
"Sorry, I thought this one would work better since he can control plants and shoot fire," Omni said, as Swampfire smirked "That could work, just got to wait for it".
Swampfire watched Grimm as he continued to shoot ice until eventually, he stopped to take a breather.
"Reina! Break the barrier now!" Swampfire yelled, and Reina did just that allowing Swampfire to run in.
He jumped over the ice before landing in front of Grimm before uppercutting him and kicking him back.
He then shot two streams of fire at the alien forcing Grim to shoot them, away with his ice.
Swmapfire smirked, before grabbing the seeds on his arms and tossing them at Grimm causing several vines to grow and entrap him.
Grimm struggled a bit before slapping the watch on his chest, changing him into a mummy-like alien with a red glow on his chest.
He then untangled himself before sending the tapes towards Swampfire, which coiled around him.
"Gah! What is this stuff!" Swampfire said, struggling as Grim began trying to pull the watch off him.
"Now the Omnitrix will finally be my- Gah!" The mummy yelled, as Reina came in and shot the tapes which freed Swampfire.
Grimm growled before slapping his watch again, causing a bright red light.
When the light died down, he was now in his diamond head form as he began shooting diamond shards at them.
Reina blasted them away with her bow as Swampfire quickly switched aliens.
"HUMONGASAUR!" He roared, as Diamondheads eyes widened.
"An Warrior Vaxasaurian?! But that's impossible! Ben Tennyson never used anything like that, those were meant to be extinct!" Grimm yelled.
'Ben Tennyson…?' Omni questioned, as Ventus smirked.
"Oh really now?" He smirked "Then I guess you don't know about this little trick," he said, waving his tail.
"Reina, I need you to get on me," He said, as his sister turned around "What why?".
"Just do it," he said, picking her up much to the girl's struggle before she was placed on his shoulder.
Humongasuar then jumped into the air and swung his tail downwards causing great vibrations to shake the area around causing Grim to fall down the cliff.
"Did, did we beat him?" Omni asked as Reina gulped "I don't think so, but we should leave before he comes ba- huh?".
With a bright flash, Ventus returned to normal which made Reina fall on top of him.
"Ow," They both said, at the same time before getting off each other.
"Sorry, I was too tired from the constant changes" Omni apologised, as Ventus smiled "Don't worry Buddy, at least that guys dealt with".
"Come on, we should head back to Beacon before he comes back," Reina said, tossing her brother one of the chess pieces as Ventus nodded.
"Alright, let's-Huh?" He said before they started feeling shaking.
"What now!" Reina yelled, as there was a giant green flash below them and something emerged from the fog below.
"I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! THE OMNITRIX WILL BE MINE! I WILL BE COMPLETE!" Grim roared, as he came out of the valley in a new transformation they had never seen before.
He transformed into a gigantic black alien with red lines coursing around it's body. It had bone like armour with red lines on it's chest, with bone like spike blondes on its shoulders and on it's arms, with it's face having a bone like mask with bright red eyes and red eyes on it's cheeks with a large bone horn on its head.
"Omni! What kind of alien is that!" Ventus yelled as Omni gulped.
"It's a To'kustar! We need to run now!" He yelled as the two ran as fast they could with Waybig following close behind.
A few minutes earlier
(Play Red like roses part 2)
We see Ruby and the other currently facing the Nevermore and rather deathstalker.
Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang were against the Nevermore whilst Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha and Ren were against the Deathstalker.
We see Jaune and Pyrrha on a stone bridge with Pyrrha firing at the beast with her sniper rifle.
We then see Ren being knocked back by the scorpion tail so Pyrhha caught him "Are you okay?".
"Yeah, I'm fine that thing is pretty tough," he said before the two began firing in the large Grimm.
Jaune was watching them firing before noticing it was shacking his tail "That's it, Pyrrha the tail!" He yelled.
Pyrrha nodded throwing her shield like a boomerang cutting off the tail's tip stabbing its head.
"Nora!" He said as she looked at him.
"Smash"
Nora smiled happily at this before she gripped her hammer and jumped into the air.
"WAAAAHHHHOOOO!" She screamed, slamming the tip into the deathstalker knocking the bridge down throwing all three of them to the grass.
Meanwhile, Ruby, Yang, Weiss and Blake were firing everything they had the giant nevermore.
"Tch, it's tougher than it looks," Blake said, as Yang smirked.
"Then let's fire everything we've got!" Yang said, cocking her shotguns of Ember Celica, Ruby activates her sniper rifle function of Crescent Rose, Blake turns Gambol shroud into gun form and Weiss spun the chamber of Myrtenaster.
The nevermore flew towards them so they fire everything they had causing the Nevermore to crash into the tower below them.
They all quickly ran up the crumbling tower Blake doing ninja-like moves, Yang propelling herself with dust bullets, Weiss using some of her glyphs and Ruby with her sniper rifle's recoil.
Ruby and Weiss landed on one of the bridges as Yang ran towards the nevermore.
"None of this is working!" Weiss yelled as Ruby looked at her "Well we gotta do something!".
Ruby looked over at Blake swinging to the opposite side of the tower, and Yang on top of a pillar shooting at the bird Grimm.
"I have a plan! Cover me!" She calls before speeding off, Weiss going in a different direction.
The Nevermore circles around Yang as she continues to fire at the giant bird. One-shot lands in its face and makes it dazed.
The Nevermore flies to Yang, mouth agape, and attempting to eat Yang but she grabs onto the beak and keeps it open.
"I! Hope! You're! Hungry!" she screamed, and with each word, she fires a new shot into the throat of the Nevermore.
She takes a quick look back and then jumps from the mouth and lets the Grimm crashed into the mountain and fell.
The nevermore screeched as Weiss passed Yang before using her dust to freeze the nevermore tail in place before she jumped back.
Blake throws Gambol shroud to Yang who catches it and wraps it around her pillar, Blake doing the same.
Ruby pulled the ribbon back as Weiss held it back in place.
"Of course you would think something like this" Weiss said, as Ruby looked at the giant bird "Think you can make the shot".
"Can I…" Weiss smirked, as I looked at her "Can…y-" "OF COURSE I CAN!".
"Alright then, ready!" Ruby said, cocking her sniper rifle.
"Aim…" The glyph starts turning red.
"FIRE!" Weiss break the sling shooting Ruby towards the nevermore as she stabs its neck with her scythe.
Ruby then began running up the Rocky Mountain with Weiss creating Glyphs so she can do it, she stabbed more and more into the nevermore's neck before she successfully slashes the Grimm's head off.
(End song)
Ruby landed on the top of the Rocky Mountain, her cape flowing with the wind along with some rose petals.
She then stands up and looked down at the others.
"Well that was a thing," Yang said, as they began making their way back to beacon.
'I hope Ventus is okay…' Ruby thought as she jumped back to the others.
Cliffs
Third-person P.O.V.
"Run! Run!" Ventus yelled as he and Reina ran as fast as they could from Waybig.
"Why aren't you doing you changing thingie! Can't we just fly away" Reina screamed, as he looked at her.
"I'm too tired to transformed, I still need a few minutes" Omni yelled, flying next to them.
"Well, we're screwed then!" Reina said, as they both jumped off the cliff before she created an energy Platform, so they could get away.
"Guess we'll have to do this the old fashioned way," Ventus said, as they both took out their weapons.
"Is there any weak points Omni?" Reina asked as Omni looked up.
"Aim for the fin on its head, it's causes a paralysing pain to go through its body" Omni explained, and they nodded.
The two siblings began firing at the giant alien, Ventus with his two guns and Reina with her bow.
The To'kustar easily dodged the attack "Don't think I haven't considered this aliens weakness" he said, before waving his hand at the two.
The platform shattered, as the two landed on the giant's hand as he smirked.
"Time to crush you fools," he said, raising his hand.
Reina created a barrier to protect them but Grim continued punching the barrier.
"Omni! How much longer!" Reina yelled, barely keeping the barrier up.
"J-Just a few more minutes," Omni said, as Ventus growled, "We don't have enough time!".
He then looked down below them 'He wants me and Omni… so…' he said before a smirk grew on his face.
"Hey, jerk!" Ventus yelled as Reina looked at him "What are you doing".
"Just trust me," he said before he looked back up "Hey! You want me! Then come and get me!" Ventus yelled before he jumped off Waybig's hand.
"Ventus!" "No!".
With a bright flash, Waybig transformed into a stinkfly to chase after the falling Ventus while Reina created a platform to land on.
She looked down to the cliff, about to create a platform to help him but then there was a bright green flash which changed to a crimson colour.
"What!" Grim said as he and Reina covered their eyes.
Suddenly from the valley came a figure engulfed in flames which passed by Grim and Reina before flying up higher and higher.
The flames dispersed revealing Ventus in a new alien form, which could only be described as a humanoid phoenix.
He turned into a large half human and half bird like alien with a human face, along with golden eyes and red and orange feather like hair, and a bird-head like hoodie with a beak. He had red, orange and green feathers on his limbs, head and wings, however said wings seemed to be shrunken into his back. Both his feet and hands where shaped like sharp bird claws. He wore a brilliant gold armour on the torso that extended towards the top of the wings, it had a red crystal in the middle and underneath it, near the bellybutton was the Omnitrix symbol.
Grim and Ventus landed on the ground, with Grimm smirking as he returned to normal.
"So what do you call this alien? Birdbrain? Crimsonfeather?" He joked as Ventus looked at his new form.
"Omni… what alien is this?" He asked as Omni beeped.
"This is a phoenix, aliens that are born whenever a sun or a star dies, I had to mix it with human DNA, so it wouldn't burn up everyone" he explained, as Ventus nodded and looked at himself.
"I'll call him… Talonsol" he said, gripping his hand "I suggest you don't use him for long, although he is strong if you fight too long your cells will burn up and you'll die".
"Don't worry, this won't take long…" he said, entering a fighting position before crossing his arms and summoning a large rainbow coloured mass of feathers similar to a peacock which soon split apart before Talonsol directed them towards Grim.
Grim quickly dodged each one before he growled, transforming into Arctiguana and shooting his ice breath at Ventus but the heat around him just melted the ice.
He growled before slamming his watch again turning to a large black dog-like like an alien with no eyes with spikes on his back.
He leapt towards Talonsol, who simply moved out of the way before spin kicking Grimm off the cliff.
However, he caught the the rocks, before he slammed the watch again transforming into Wildvine before he slingshot himself back up.
He then grabbed the seeds on his back before he tossed them towards Talonsol.
Talonsol didn't waver, however, and simply pulled back his wings before flapping them, sending a great wind which pushed the seeds back at wild vine knocking him down the cliff.
"D-Did you do it," Reina asked, but Talonsol shook his head "No… not yet".
Suddenly a ghost-like alien came out of the ground to attack Talonsol, but he created a bright ball of fire that burned Grim forcing him to return to normal.
"Hah hah… fuuuuuuuccccckkkkk" he screamed "Why you're just a small brat that only had the watch for a few days! You don't even have nearly as much experience as the original user so why".
"I've had enough," Ventus said, returning to normal "I don't want to ever see your face around here again, and if I do… I will kill you," he said, walking off.
"No!" Grim roared, standing back up before dashing towards Ventus before grabbing his Omnitrix causing the Omnitrix and the Grimmtrix to begin sparking.
"What?!" "Huh?!" The two said as the two watches began sparking against each other before there was a surge of energy knocking each other back.
"Ventus!" Reina yelled, helping her brother up who was knocked unconscious from the impact.
"Omni, what was that," she asked, looking up at the ghost "I-I don't know, I felt like something was trying to infect me".
"G-Gah!" They heard, looking over at Grim and their eyes widen at what they saw.
His coat was burnt up revealing the Grimmtrix which looked like it was digging into his body and going up inside the arm towards his brain.
"Hah hah" Grimm huffed, before teleporting away.
Reina and Omni looked up at the teleporting Grimm before gulping "We should go back, so Ventus can get some medical attention".
Omni nodded, before changing Ventus into a smaller alien so that Reina wouldn't have so much trouble.
A few hours later
Ventus P.O.V.
"Cardin Winchester, Russel Thrush, Dove Bronzewing, Sky Lark. The four of you retrieved the black bishop pieces. From this day forward, you will be working together as a team CRDL. Led by… Cardin Winchester" Ozpin said, as we all clapped.
It had been a few hours since the initiation, when I had woken up I was in the medical ward so I had to get my arm put into a cast before I could leave to watch.
"Jaune Arc, Lie Ren, Pyrrha Nikos, Nora Valkyrie. The four of you retrieved the white rook pieces. From this day forward you will work together as team JNPR. Led by… Jaune Arc."
Jaune had a completely surprised look on his face from being designated as team leader "L-led by…?"
"Congratulations young man," the principal said, as Pyrrha gave Jaune a playful punch to the shoulder, but she used a little too much force causing Jaune to fall over.
"Blake Belladonna. Ruby Rose. Weiss Schnee. Yang Xiao Long. The four of you retrieved the white knight pieces. From this day forward you will work together as a team RWBY. Led by… Ruby Rose."
Weiss had a look of disbelief while Ruby was just happily surprised by this. "I'm so proud of you!" Yang said while hugging her sister.
"And finally Reina and Ventus Valliant," Ozpin said, like for me, Reina and Omni made our way down the steps to the stage.
"You two had split up, despite my orders and normally we would not allow you to join for your lack of teamwork," he said, making us look down.
"However," he said, making us all look up "You were also able to stop someone who had attempted to attack the other students so for that, I will allow you to either be a two-man team until we can find you other members or each joins another team".
I looked over at Reina who was looking at Weiss 'She'll probably wanna join Weiss or Pyrrha…' I thought, but then she walked up.
"I'll stay with Ventus," she said, surprising me "After all, I'm the only one who can keep him in check".
Ozpin nodded, before looking over at me "Are you the same, Ventus?" He asked as I smirked.
"Yeah" I nodded.
"Very well, you two will be the leaders, of team RV," he said, as everyone began clapping.
I smiled, as I looked over at Omni, before looking down at the Omnitrix 'This is year's gonna be fun' he said, with a smile.
Plumbers base
Third-person P.O.V.
We see in a secret base back on earth, we see two small Galvan's watching a screen while drinking some smoothies.
These were Blukic and Driba, the technical support of the secret alien police known as the plumbers (seriously That's the name).
As they screen Blukic noticed something on the radar "Uuhh, Driba" Blukic said, as Driba rolled his eyes.
"What now, I'm busy," he said, working on a device.
"I think I found something ya wanna see," Blukic said, as Driba sighed before stopping his work and walking over to his partner.
"What- Huh?!" Driba said, looking at the radar.
On the screen was the symbol of the Omnitrix, but what was strange was that there was two,
"Are you that's it? It could be some fool trying to recreate it, like Albedo" Driba said, as Blukic shrugged "I dunno" he said, surprising some smoothie but it was empty.
"Alright, fine I'll go contact Magister Tennyson and Ben," he said, before turning around "But first, we're going to Mr smoothies!" Dibba said as they began to leave the base.
And done, woo boy this was a long chapter but I'm glad I was finally able to finish it, and I'm looking forward to working on this new version of the story.
