A/N: You know, I honestly didn't think that this story would get as much attention as it has due to how long it's been since anyone has last watched My Life As A Teenage Robot on Nickelodeon all those years ago. I was expecting to get one, maybe two reviews for this story, but boy you surprised me! So, in light of this development, I'm gonna keep the momentum going and give you all a new chapter that I hope you all will enjoy.

Training Begins! The One Million Mile Snake Way!

Out in deep space, Vexus's mothership was struggling to maintain its course as it flew through the starry void that is the galaxy. The ship's pilots were doing all they could to steady their craft, but they came to the conclusion that there was only one way to recover and make it to their new base of operations.

"General Smytus! You all need to jettison some weight, or we'll never make it back to base!" one of the pilots said over the intercom.

"My fellow brothers and sisters of the New Cluster, our humble pilots have just informed me that we need to lighten our burden if we are to make it back to base." Smytus informed.

"Then it should be survival of the fittest!" exclaimed one of the less damaged drones.

"Do I hear a second on that?" Smytus asked.

"AYE!" called the crew members who were in good condition.

"And against?" Smytus asked with a cruel grin.

"Nay!.." called all of the heavily damaged soldiers.

"They ayes have it!"

The damaged soldiers begged and pleaded with their robot brethren not to eject them into space to die, but they wouldn't listen. It truly was survival of the fittest as the damaged renegades were tossed out the airlock and left to drift in deep space, most of them dying in the process due to the stress of the damage combined with recent events. Eventually, Smytus walked up to the airlock carrying Vexus who was far more damaged than even her lost drones. She had cracks and chips all over her armored body with some of her sharp denta being broken from the impacts of her latest fight against Jenny. Her chestplate was caved in with a spiderweb of cracks spreading out from the impact point, and fragments of her now destroyed golden chip were embedded within vital internal circuitry. Some of the armor on her left arm and right leg was also completely destroyed and had fallen off as they were fleeing the earth, revealing the black, mechanical skeletal structure underneath.

"Oh, how it pains me to do this." Smytus said with heavy sarcasm.

"W-Wait… I still… function!..." groaned Vexus as she glared at Smytus.

The robot general just gave a smug grin and asked "Want a bet?"

"SMYTUUUUUUUUUS!" screeched Vexus as she was tossed out the airlock with the rest of her damaged crew members.

It seemed as though this was the end of Vexus. Tossed aside by her own troops and left to die in the vacuum of space. But you'd be wrong if that's what you were thinking.

Because this was just the beginning.

***Elsewhere…***

Jenny groaned as her eyes began to slowly flutter open.

"Wha-What?... Was… was I asleep?" she mumbled as she propped herself up on her shoulders. "Ugh… was it all just a-"

But she couldn't finish that sentence because she suddenly remembered everything that happened! Her sister, XJ-10 being created, Vexus invading, her final battle against the former Cluster Queen, even her own death! She quickly bolted upright with a loud gasp as she quickly realized that she was dead… and yet… alive? But how could this be? She's a robot, and realistically, she shouldn't have a soul to go to the afterlife! …Right?

She looked down and saw that she had been laying in a bed covered in white sheets, which would explain why it felt like she had been sleeping through a bad dream when she first woke up. Glancing up, she noticed a golden ring hovering over her head. Clearly a halo, like what one often sees in stereotypical angel artwork. If that's not proof enough that Jenny's dead, she doesn't know what is.

"Oh my! You're awake!"

Jenny turned her attention away from her halo and glanced in the direction of the voice. She saw what she could only describe as a man in a business suit and glasses with blue skin and a horn jutting out of the top of his head.

'Who is he?' she wondered. 'He doesn't look like any human I've ever seen, and he's certainly not a robot.'

"It's nice to see that you've finally woken up, miss. You've been out of it for twelve whole hours, which would've been bad if you weren't already dead." the man said. "Please follow me to the check-in station."

'Check-in station? What the heck is that?' Jenny pondered.

She didn't really know if she could trust this guy but saw no other options at the moment. So she reluctantly began to follow him out of the room. They walked through a long corridor before entering a giant room where Jenny was shocked to see something else she hadn't been expecting. It was a giant red ogre with a black beard wearing a purple suit sitting at a giant desk with stacks of papers and books on it! Of all the things to run into here, Jenny certainly hadn't been expecting something like this!

"Well, I've brought her, King Yemma sir! The robot with a soul!" said the blue humanoid.

"I can see that, Dean. Now, what's your name, miss?" the red ogre, King Yemma, asked.

"Jennifer Wakeman, sir. Designation, XJ-9." Jenny automatically replied due to her shock. "Um, if it's alright to ask, where exactly am I? And what are you?"

King Yemma flipped through several pages and replied, "Well, it's quite simple, really. When a living being dies, their soul leaves the mortal plane and ascends here to the check-in station. And it's my job to send the souls of the departed to their designated afterlives. If you've lead a life of good and have committed no true evil, then you'll be sent to heaven to live out your afterlife in eternal happiness and peace. But if you've committed great sins, atrocities the likes of which people wouldn't want to talk about, then you get a one-way ticket down to hell where you face eternal damnation. And believe me when I say that nobody wants that unless, of course, you're a demon who enjoys that kind of stuff."

"Wow, so you're saying that all living things come here when they die?" Jenny asked.

"That's right." replied King Yemma.

"Aliens and robots, too?" Jenny inquired.

"Well, you're the first robot that we know of to have a soul who wasn't a Metal Man, Jennifer, but yes. All living things, whether they're from earth or not, come here to be judged and sent to their respective afterlives when they eventually pass on. Ah! There you are! XJ-9, A.K.A. Jennifer Wakeman!"

King Yemma hummed as he looked over Jenny's file, making the robot girl understandably nervous. She knows that she's made mistakes and done some dumb stuff in the past, but could any of those things possibly be enough to get her sent straight to hell? She didn't have to wonder for too much longer as King Yemma gave a please noise and cracked a grin.

"My, my, my, this is quite the impressive resume you've got here! With a record like this, you're a shoo-in for heaven!" exclaimed King Yemma, drawing a sigh of relief from Jenny. "However, there's somebody here who has recommended you for special training that you will receive by traversing the perilous Snake Way."

"Huh? Special training? Who'd recommend me for that?" Jenny asked.

"Oh, that was me who chose you for this special training." said a woman's voice.

Jenny looked to her side and saw another humanoid. This one was clearly a woman with pinkish-purple skin, pointed ears like an elf, black eyes, and pinkish-red hair. She was wearing a set of bulbous earrings, a set of regal attire that also seemed a little more on the casual side, and a pair of high-heeled boots. She was also noticeably short as she stood at only about a little over waist height when compared to Jenny.

"Hello!~" greeted the woman.

"Uh, hello there." Jenny greeted back, though still thoroughly confused. "Who are you, exactly?"

"Oh, I'm sorry! Where are my manners? I'm the Supreme Kai of Time, and I'm the one who's arranged for you to travel across Snake Way in order to receive training to help you later down the line."

"Snake Way?" Jenny asked.

"It's the longest path to ever be constructed here in Otherworld." King Yemma piped in. "Forged at the dawn of time, Snake Way is the only path that will lead you to a great martial arts master named known as King Kai. He's just one step beneath a Supreme Kai on the universal pecking order."

"That's right. And Snake Way stretched on for one million miles." Supreme Kai of Time added.

"A MILLION MILES? HAS ANYONE EVER REACHED THE END?" Jenny asked, utterly flabbergasted.

"Ee-yup!" said King Yemma, popping the 'p'. "You're looking at one of them right now, and that's yours truly!"

Jenny was amazed that there were people who actually managed to clear such a distance. Especially since they were organic instead of robots like her.

"Before we go any further with this plan of yours, I have a couple of questions. First, did a robot named Vexus come through here by any chance?" Jenny asked.

King Yemma looked interested in that question and started flipping through the pages in his book of souls.

"Vexus, eh? No, nobody by that name has been through here recently. And I think I'd recognize another robot soul around here." King Yemma replied. "And just looking at her record here, I can tell you she'd be doing her time down below. Go figure."

This news concerned Jenny quite a bit. If Vexus was still alive, then that means that she can be repaired after her fight with Jenny. She can return to full strength and go back to invade the Earth again and try to take it over. But at least this time, her sister Joan would be there to stop Vexus in Jenny's place. With this question answered, Jenny turned her attention back to the Supreme Kai of Time.

"Okay, second question. How am I supposed to get stronger through training? I'm a robot, not an organic." Jenny said.

The Supreme Kai of Time giggled and replied, "That's where I come in. You see, your life was cut short all too soon, Jenny. As a result, your soul is going through what I like to call a molding period where you can be reformed as any other life form. And I'm going to reform you as a member of a warrior race known as the Saiyans."

"Wait, what?" gasped Jenny.

"Wait, what?" asked King Yemma.

Supreme Kai of Time giggled once again and raised her hand, fingered poised to snap.

"Wait, no! Stop! This is a terrible i-"

And with a snap of her fingers, Jenny was changed in an instant.

"-dea!"

Jenny looked herself over in a conveniently placed full body mirror and saw that she was no longer a robot. In fact, she was no longer even a teenager as the transformation had aged her up to about eighteen, maybe nineteen years old. She had naturally tan skin, not like the kind you get from being out in the sun too long, and black eyes. Her hair was no longer in twin pigtails, falling down to her mid-back and having a more spiky appearance. Her hair itself was a chestnut brown color, and she was wearing a blue karate gi with white tai-chi shoes. Finally, she saw that she had a chestnut brown monkey tail growing from the base of her spine, twitching in barely restrained irritation. Seeing what the Supreme Kai of Time did to her, Jenny did the most reasonable thing.

"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"

***To Be Continued…***

Ending A/N: A little on the shorter side than the previous chapter, I know, but it's really all I could come up with at the moment. I need to take some time to reread the Dragon Ball Z manga and rewatch the anime before I even think of moving on to the heavier stuff. But hey, now Jenny has been reborn as a Saiyan! What shenanigans await her as she travels across Snake Way? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z: Saga of XJ-9! Side note, the poll is going to be up for a little longer so please go and cast your votes if you have not done so already. It really helps when you do because it helps my stories along. In the meantime, here are the current results.
