Hey guys and gals, welcome back to hero of remnant chapter 12 this time around we're getting to some fun stuff.
Now the last chapter was pretty damn shocking for you guys, I wanted to try doing an original arc for this story
And this is the climax of this original arc, so if you guys are liking this darker arc then I hope you enjoy this one.

Forever Falls
Third-person P.O.V.
In the red forest of forever fall, we see the students all waiting around the Bullhead as Glynda glanced toward Reina.
"Reina, where's your brother he should have been back by now," she asked, as Reina crossed her arms "I'm not sure, he said he'd only be a few minutes".
"He could have run into some Grimm" the teacher mumbled "Not only that but team CRDL hasn't returned either".
"Alright, Reina and Team Rwby I want you to search for Ventus, team Jnpr I want you to look for the rest of team CRDL" she stated, as the groups nodded and split up.
A few minutes later we see Reina and Team Rwby following the trail Ventus had left behind.
"Why do we have to look for him, it was that fool's fault that he got lost," Weiss said, shaking her head.
"Oh come on Ice Queen, we're just helping him besides he'll probably owe us," Yang said, crossing her arms with a smirk on her face.
"Besides, it shouldn't take too long to find him," Blake said, reading her book.
As they walked we saw Ruby looking down with a worried look on her face.
"You okay Ruby?" She heard, looking over at Reina "You're looking pretty worried".
"Yeah…but I'm worried about Omni, why hasn't he come back out and Ventus has been on edge for awhile… I'm worried something will happen" Ruby said.
"To be honest I'm worried too" Reina said "I am worried something's going to happen, I know Ventus can handle it but with his rage I-".
"GAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!" They heard as they rushed forward to see GhostFreak phasing his hands into Cardin's head.
They were shocked to see electricity go through his body before GhostFreak let him go, causing Cardin to fall to the ground, his body twitching and drool falling from his mouth.
"HahahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
GhostFreak's laugh was heard all over the forest, shocking the girls, as the Omnitrix began beeping, forcing him to grab his head.
"No! No! NO! I'm…I'm not going back!"
GhostFreak struggled while grabbing his head until finally there was a bright red flash returning him to normal,
"What…what was that?" Ventus said, looking at himself "Who…was tha- gah!".
Ventus suddenly fell to the ground as we see behind him was Reina and Team Rwby who knocked him out, their faces showing concern, fear and anger.
"What…why did he do that!" Yang yelled, her eyes turning red.
"Yeah…that was going way too far" Weiss yelled, swiping her hand.
"That…that couldn't have been Ventus r-right" Blake gulped, a bit of fear in her voice.
"R-Right…right…Ventus wouldn't do something like that…I know he wouldn't" Ruby said, as Reina picked up Ventus.
"I'm…I'm not sure… but for now…we should bring him in and see what Ozpin has to say," Reina said, walking forward as Yang and the other picked up Cardin.
However, as they walked back their shadows turned into the form of GhostFreak.

Third-person P.O.V.
"Ghh…Gah!" Ventus yelled, jumping up and taking a few deep breaths as he looked around "Ugh, what happened…huh?".
Ventus blinked, as he found himself in what looked like some kind of prison cell, with an energy field keeping him inside.
"What in the world" he said, touching the field "How the hell did this happen".
"Last thing I remember I had turned into that ghost alien… and phased into Cardins brain" he said shaking his head.
"But…but that wasn't me…it was like my body was on autopilot or something…it must be that voice in my head… but who is that freak?" he said, gripping his hand.
"Aww, and I thought we were close"
"Huh" Ventus said, looking up to see GhostFreak looming over him.
"Nice to finally meet the new Omnitrix wielder…face to face!"
"This…this can't be happening! You can't be you, I'm you!" Ventus said, as Ghost Freak growled.
"I was never you! An Ectonurites conscience exists even in a few samples of DNA!"
"When the sample was taken for the DNA I was trapped inside! And after escaping the first time, I was trapped back inside! Frozen in stasis for almost a decade! That is until you had your little fight with that other Omnitrix user".
"Grimm…" Ventus gulped, as GhostFreak nodded.
"Yes! And now freed I had to wait for the opportunity to strike, that A.I. In the Omnitrix proved…difficult, but I had managed to deal with him"
"Omni…What did you do with him!" Ventus yelled, making GhostFreak snicker.
"Oh he's just sleeping…forever!" he said, as Ventus gripped his hand to punch him but he just phased through.
"That isn't going to work, but no matter it's time to reveal my true self" he yelled, gripping his pale skin.
He then proceeded to rip the skin to reveal his true form which was gray-purple and had black lines running across his chest. His head resembled a grey-brown skull turned upside-down, which had uneven teeth, black lips, and one purple eye. He had long black nails, and there were some tears in his skin, revealing black and white striped tentacles underneath.
"Ah much better, you may call me Zs'Skayr"
"W-What do you want!" Ventus yelled, as the now named Zs'Skayr smirked.
"I need the power of the Omnitrix so that I may regain all of my power, and convert this whole planet and all of the planets in the universe into my slaves and to do that I need your body"
"No happening!" Ventus yelled, reaching for the Omnitrix only to fight his fist was trapped in a metal container, keeping him accessing the Omnitrix,
"Looks like it isn't Hero Time for you, now let's see how you like being trapped inside someone else!"
Ventus quickly crossed his arms as Zs'Skayer reached forward, however Ventus's aura quickly appeared and knocked the ghost back.
"Seems that the Omnitrix has upgraded your aura, no matter I just need to wait for you to deplete it and while I do that I think I'll have some fun with your dear friends"
"No! No!" Ventus yelled, as Zs'Skayr phased through the wall "GET BACK HERE YOU BASTARD!".
"Hah..hah…" Ventus said, falling to his knees as he gripped his hand and slammed the wall.
"Mr Valiant?" He heard, looking over to see Ozpin along with Reina and Terra.
"Ozpin, Reina, Prof you're here great" Ventus said, getting up "You have to listen to me-".
"No, you're going to listen to us," Reina said, making Ventus blink.
"…Altas has reported that a group has arrived…saying that they are associates of the original Omnitrix user" Terra said, making Ventus's eyes widen.
"And after your recent outburst…we have decided to have them remove the Omnitrix from you" Ozpin said, looking down
"W-What?" Ventus asked, stepping back "L-Listen to me! You can't take the Omnitrix from me! Not now!".
"Why not!" Reina yelled "I thought you would have been responsible with your powers, but the moment Omni disappears you do that to Cardin! He's brain dead because of you!".
"But that wasn't me!" Ventus yelled "There was something in the Omnitrix, one of the samples was still alive, he was speaking to me for a few days making me doubt myself and took control of me, he was the one who did all of that! His name was Zs'Skayr, and now he's free going after our friends!".
Terra's eyes widened at that, as Ozpin looked over at him but Reina had a different reaction.
"Enough of your lies! Do you really think I'd believe that!" Reina yelled, "You just can't take responsibility for doing something horrible! You're lucky you're just getting the Omnitrix removed!".
"Come on sis! Don't you trust me" Ventus yelled, slamming his head right on the fiel separating him and Reina.
"…I wish I could" she said, before turning around and walking off with the teachers following her.
Ventus leaned next to the wall, unsure of what he should do now.
"Damn it…" he said, looking at the watch "Omni…if only you were here…you'd know what to do".
However as Ventus leaned back to rest, we see a small drone fly in and attach itself to his ear.
A few hours later
Third person P.O.V.
A while later we see several guards walking up to Vetnus's cell, before turning off the energy field.
After cuffing Ventus we see him being taken through Beacon towards the ports where an Atlesian Ship waited for him.
As he walked to the ship he noticed Reina and the rest of his friends watching him with different expressions on their faces.
He tried to say something but the guards continued pushing him as they made their way to the ship.
When he was brought to the ship and into the holding cell he was met by the second in command of the Atlus military and Weiss's older sister, Winter Schnee.
"Ventus…it's been sometime hasn't it" Winter said, as she sat across from Ventus.
"It really has Winter, what a few months?" Ventus said, as Winter nodded.
"I'll cut to the point, Atlas has been aware of your powers for sometime now" she said, pulling up her scroll and putting up footage of Ventus fighting.
"We have come up with a deal for you, we will deny the people here to get the Omnitrix if you work for Atlas as a our secret weapon" she said, surprising Ventus.
"A secret weapon?" Ventus asked, making Winter nod.
"Yes, there is an incredibly powerful enemy here on Remnant, and we believe the Omnitrix may be our only chance in defeating this enemy" she explained.
"And if I don't comply?" Ventus asked, as Winter crossed her arms.
"Then you will have the Omnitrix removed and be placed into prison for what you did" Winfer stated.
"Even if it wasn't me" he said, confusing Winter "What?".
"You have to listen to me, for the last few days I've been hearing this voice making me question myself and when I turned into that alien, it felt like my body was on Autopilot as I fought Cardin" Ventus explained.
"Now that Alien, Zs'Skayr, is freed from the Omnitrix and is going your sister and the rest of her team" Ventus said.
"That was quite an interesting story" Winter said, as Ventus got closer "It's the truth, you have to listen to me".
"I'll ask those people freed from the Omnitrix when we meet with them" she said, before leaving the room.
"Shit…" Ventus said, looking down "No one believes me…by the time we get to Atlas they would have already been attacked by Zs'Skayr…".
"Hello? Can you hear me".
"Huh?" Ventus blinked, looking around "Who said that?".
"Good you can, I placed a listening device on your ear while you were asleep"
"Alright, but who are you?" Ventus asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"I can explain that for now but believe I am an ally, I'm here to help you out of this".
"What? But why" Ventus questioned.
"That name you mentioned, Zs'Skayr, he's one of the most dangerous alien criminals who had a piece of him trapped in the Omnitrix…if he really has escaped then we need to stop him"
"Okay but how am I meant to escape, these cuffs are still on and I can't access the watch" Ventus said, shuffling his hands a bit.
"I can turn off the cuffs, to transform is the trickier issue but it has a function where it will automatically transform you when you are in trouble"
"So what you're saying is…" Ventus said, looking up.
"You'll have to jump out of the Bullhead" "I'll have to jump out of the Bullhead".
Ventus slowly looked out the window, seeing the flying over the city of. Ale before sighing.
"Alright, bet" he said, getting up.
Meanwhile in the cockpit
Third person P.O.V.
We then see Winter in the cockpit as she watched the pilots flying the plane.
""This is Sigma Alpha 2, heading due south and is on route to Atlus" one of the pilots said.
"This is Vale control tower, letting you pass by need a report on Cargo"
As the pilots explained the situation, Winter leaned next to the wall and rested her eyes.
Crash
"What!" She said, turning her head as she went to the other room of the Bullhead.
Her eyes widened when she saw the guards knocked out, and the window broken with Ventus standing opposite of it.
"No! Where do you think you're going" Winter yelled, as Ventus looked over at him.
"Sorry but this flights pretty boring, seriously no food or movies? What kind of flight is that for your secret weapon!" He said, stretching "Besides I like being free better".
He then dashed towards the window, with Winter following after him barely missing as Ventus leapt out of the window.
"After him!" Winter yelled, as the Bullhead turned around and began descending.
"Come on…come on" Ventus said, looking at the Omnitrix as he got closer and closer to the ground.
"Any minute now" he yelled, as he was about to hit the ground when the Omnitrix began glowing before he was engulfed by a bright green light.
"ASTRODACTYL!" All of the citizens looked up and we're shocked to see Astrodactyl flying through the sky.
"It's a Grimm!" "What's it doing here!" "It doesn't look like a Grimm" "Quickly run away!"
"Looks like that cats out of the bag" Astrodactyl squawked, flying through the sky.
"Alright mr voice, where to now?" Astrodactyl asked, as he flew through the sky.
"My ship is in the forest outside of Beacon" he explained, making Astrodactyl raise an eyebrow.
"Why are you just outside of sc-woah!" Astrodactyl said, getting hit and wrapped up by a energy rope shocking him as he fell.
"Looks the ice queen has sent her pawns" he said, before charging a energy ball and firing at the rope freeing him as he landed on the ground.
Astrodactyl then reached for the Omnitrix, and with a bright green flash he changed aliens.
"HEATBLAST!" Heatblast said, as he entered a fighting stance as the drones flew around him.
The drones began firing at him however he leapt up high before throwing several fire balls at the drones.
This didn't destroy the drones as they continued firing so he quickly spun around turning himself into a large fireball.
With quick movements he proceeded to crash through several of the robots, before he slammed on his watch again.
All of the citizens of vale watched as they saw Ventus change from alien to alien as he fought off the drones, some filming the scene and others reporting on it.
"Stop!" He heard, looking back to see Winter landing on the building he was on as well.
"Why are you doing this! Don't you understand you're too dangerous with that thing!" She said, as Ventus pointed to her.
"And don't you understand there's something much more dangerous then me!" Ventus, in his wild vine form, yelled "But if you're going to get in my way, then I'll gladly fight you".
He then proceeded to slam the watch on his chest causing a bright green flash that changed his form.
"Chromastone!" He said, striking a pose as Winter growled.
She then proceeded to stab her rapier into the ground, creating a glyph that summons several white energy birds.
"Go!" She yelled, sending the birds right at Chromastone.
However , with swift punches, he shattered each bird, absorbing the energy and causing him to gain a rainbow-coloured aura.
He then proceeded to fire an energy beam towards Winter forcing her to move out of the way.
Then with blinding speed she struck Chromastone several times knocking him into another building.
She looked down at the building he crashed down, when a bright green light explode from the building.
A blur then zoomed in forcing the general to block the attack, causing her to skidded across the building.
Winter looked up to see Ventus in his Castcoon form in a fighting stance.
"Tch" Winter scoffed, as she dashed towards slashing her sword at the alien, each breaking off more of the shell-like body revealing a faint blue glow.
Castcoon growled, as he gripped his hands before raising them and swiftly catching the blade.
"What!" Winter gasped, as the alien pulled the sword out of her hands before throwing it back at her at fast speed forcing the girl to dodge the attack.
However this gave the Castcoon to turn his attention to the ground they were standing in.
"ORA!" He yelled, punching the ground leaving a crack.
"ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA!" He yelled, sending several powerful punches at the ground causing more and more cracks into it and collapsing, sending them to the lower floors of the building.
However, Castcoon quickly pressed the watch on his belt, allowing him to change into an alien once again.
"Jetray" he yelled, now flying up to the sky before zooming away as Winter got out of the rubble.
"Hah…hah…call commander IronWood…" she said, as she went to retrieve her sword.
The scene moved back to see it was on the tv as we see several students from Beacon were watching this fight go down including Reina and Team Rwby.
"He…he actually beat Winter…that shouldn't be possible" Weiss said, shocked at her sister's defeat.
"Oh come on Weiss it wasn't really a defeat, more like he found the exit" Yang said, crossing her arms.
"If that's what you like to call it" Blake said, as she looked at the Tv with her arms crossed.
"Damn it! What is that idiot thinking!" Reina yelled "Why would he just go and escape custody".
"W-Well, I'm sure it isn't what it looks like" Ruby said, as Reina looked at her.
"What possible reason could he have for escaping custody after what he did" she yelled "Heck when I talked to him he still wouldn't take responsibility and just made up some ghost story".
"After all that we've seen, can we really cut ghosts out of the equation?" Yang said, crossing her arms.
"But Reina's got a point, he's probably just running away so he can keep all of the power of the Omnitrix" Blake said as Reina nodded "Yeah, next time I see him I'm stopping him for sure",
"I'm in too, he's gonna pay for defeating my sister" Weiss said, as Ruby looked down with a worried look on her face.
Forest
Ventus P.O.V.
"All right, now where are you" I said, as I walked through the forest outside.
"I'm right in front of you"
Huh?" I blinked, looking up to see a large ship began materialising in front of me.
"W-Woah! A freaking spaceship" I gasped, as the ships doors opened up with someone walking out.
It was a large man in some kind of black full body black and grey armour with some kind for dome shaped helmet with a green triangle on the front, with an axe like weapon in his hand.
"Hey wait…you're the dude who helped me and Team Jnpr before" I said, seeing the armoured man in front of me.
"Correct, it's good to see you again" he said, before turning around "It will be safer if we go into the ship".
"Well not like I have any other option…" I mumbled, following him into the ship.
When I entered it looked to be some kind of hangar area, with several crates and other items inside.
"Woah…" I said, looking around, "Is there anyone else on the ship".
"Well there was Gluto, but he's Vacation right now" he explained, walking forward.
I followed him as we walked onto some kind of platform which moved us to the next level and continued hovering to it's destination.
"So who are you exactly?" I asked, as he pressed a button on his suit opening the helmet revealing that he was an alien, the same kind as Diamond Head.
"My name is Tetrax Shard, a bounty hunter that was hired by the Omnitrix's creator to find the Omnitrix after it went missing," he explained, making me tense up.
"So what? Are you the guy that's going to take the Omnitrix from me" I said, gripping the watch but he shook his head.
"I was going to but then I met your head master, Ozpin, who informed me of an incredible enemy on his planet who wishes to wipe everything on this planet away" he explained.
"Right, Winter mentioned an enemy like that but I just thought it was the white fang or something" Ventus mumbled.
"Something very similar happened on my planet, it was my fault and the only things that saved them was the Omnitrix," he explained, making me look at the watch.
"So I decided to keep an eye on you, that and my ship was damaged when entering this planet" he explained, as the platform stopped moving,
"Okay but why tell me all of this now?" Ventus asked, as they both got off the platform.
"I normally wouldn't have…but if what you said is true then we must put a stop Zs'Skayr above all else'' he said, as entered the cockpit.
"Who is this Zs'Skayr anyway?"I asked, crossing my arms as Tetrax put up a screen showing the alien.
"The high ecto lord of the Anur Transyl system who wished to spread his race throughout the entirety of the system and the rest of the universe, he was eventually captured with a piece of him being added to the Omnitrix" Tetrax explained.
"But a piece of him still had his consciousness," I said, crossing my arms.
"Yes, he had managed to escape once and almost the entirety of the planet he was on into zombies using a special crystal known as charodium but was soon stopped by the first Omnitrix user, Ben Tennyson, and was captured back into the Omnitrix with the updates being able to put his DNA in stasis" he explained.
"But my fight with Grimm reawakened him when our Omnitricies came into contact" I said, making Tetrax nod.
"Yes, though he doesn't have his full DNA back meaning he doesn't have all of his powers so we need to destroy him before he manages to return to his full power" he said, making me raise an eyebrow.
"But how are we meant to destroy him? He's not exactly alive" I asked, as he pulled out a gun and glove.
"Ectonurite have a weakness to sunlight without their protective skin, the gun here will release a power beam of light similar to light of the sun and this glove will be able to remove the Ectonurite from the person body but you need to be certain who the Ectonurite is possessing or you might damage there aura" he explained, as I nodded grabbing the glove.
As I placed the glove on I noticed the Omnitrix which made me frown.
"You okay?" Tetrax asked, as I looked at him "Zs'Skayr…he mentioned he did something to Omni that made him stop responding… You know a lot about the Omnitrix right? would you be able to reawaken him?".
"Unfortunately not right now, the Omnitrix is an incredibly delicate device so I'd need more time if I wish to reawaken your friend if I even could" he said, making me look down.
"Alright…thanks" he said, as Tetrax crossed his arms and unlocked the box containing the Omnitrix.
"Go and rest while I'll come up with a proper strategy" he said, as Ventus nodded, walking out of the room and onto the platform as Tetrax sent him to the rooms.
"Omni…I miss you bud…you'd know exactly what to do" Ventus sighed, as he passed by one of the rooms hearing the sound of something falling.
"Huh" I blinked, stopping the platform as I looked to the room.
"He said there's no one else on the ship" I said, activation the Omnitrix as I walked into the room.
"It's a bit dark…wouldn't hurt to use this alien for a bit" I said, selecting an alien and pressing the watch causing a bright green flash.
"Talonsol!" I yelled, now in my Phoenix form as the alien's aura lit up the room.
"Now…where are you?" I said, looking around until I noticed someone silhouette nearby.
"There!" I said, spreading my wings to fly up before dropping towards the silhouette.
"Got you" I grinned, catching him before lifting him up.
"Talonsol, now that takes me back" he said, as I got a good look at him.
It was some old guy with fair skin, grey eyes and black hair. He was wearing a white lab coat over a white shirt with a brown vest and black tie, black pants, and black shoes. He also wore goggles with green lenses around his neck.
"Alright buddy, what the hell are you doing here?" I asked, as the man smiled.
"Now Ventus, is this the right way to deal with an old friend?" he asked, confusing me.
"Old friend? I have no idea who you are and how do you know my name" I said, making him blink.
"Oh dear, is this the first time we've met? My apologies, time travel can be so confusing" he said, as I let go of him.
"Time travel?" I said, and with a green flash returned to normal "What are you talking about? Who are you?".
"Ah then this is the first time we've met" he nodded to himself.
"Call me Paradox, Professor Paradox. I am a time traveler who is quite acquainted with the users of the Omnitrix, including you" he said, then pulled out something from his pocket and offered it to Ventus "Gumball?".
"Uh, thanks" he said, taking the candy before shaking his head "Wait no, how could I just believe you that you're a time traveler".
"Your name is Ventus Valiant, you found the Omnitrix 3 months ago in the forest during a summer camp after a loss to your friend Rwby where you met your partner Omni, your first transformation was heatblast and your first fight was against a pack of Grimms" he explained.
"Huh…alright okay, you might be a time traveler" Ventus said "But why are you here then and why now?".
"Ah simple, a warning" he said, walking up to me "To make sure Zs'Skayr can be defeated and to make everything go back to normal".
"And what's that?" Ventus asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"If Zs'Skayr possesses your friend, Yang, transform into Castcoon," he said, making me blink and look down at the Omnitrix "Why Castcoon?- huh?".
Next thing I knew the dude was gone, like he was never there to begin with.
"..." I looked at the gumball he had given me before sighing as I placed it in my pocket "Well guess I could at least trust him" I said, scratching my cheek as I left the room.
Vale
Third person P.O.V.
We see several people walking through the city trying to enjoy their evening, and some checking out where the recent fight had went down.
However this peacefulness was soon cut off as they all looked up to see large green flash.
"Humongousaur!" they heard, looking up to see the large dinosaur like alien making it's way through the city.
"Raaaaahhhhh!" he roared, scaring the citizens as they began running away.
He then felt several bullets firing at him as he looked down to see several officer shooting at him.
"Grah!" he yelled, lifting his tail before slamming it down causing a small quake that caused them to trip.
They then looked up to see Humongousaur growling at them as they are careful before getting up and running away.
'Is this seriously the best plan we got?' Humongousaur whispered as he made his way through the city.
We then looked back to see Tetrax watching this on his hoverboard.
"We need to get the citizens out of the way so that the drone can come in to fight you" Tetrax said, watching this.
"Yeah yeah, and use a bunch of aliens to use up my aura which will bring Zs'Skayer out" he said, as he jumped up and slammed on to the ground causing another quake as more people ran away.
However as he continues rampaging through the city, we see several Atlas robots making their way towards him.
"Huh…guess they sent some of their robots to capture me," Humongousaur said, looking at the robots.
"I had turned off the Bullheads to keep people from Beacon to come, so there's only one Bullhead on its way and other hunters are currently on missions" Tetrax explained, as Humongousaur nodded, pressing the watch on his chest to change to aliens.
"Big Chill!" he said, spreading his wings to fly up towards the robots.
He then proceeded to take a deep breath before blowing an icy wind to freeze several of the robots.
"Xlr8!" he yelled, dashing through several frozen robots shattering them into pieces.
He then spun extremely fast in a circle, creating a tornado to lift the robots pieces into the air.
"Lodestar!" he yelled, pointing towards the robot piece and using his magnesis to tosse several of the robot pieces at the other robots causing them to explode.
He then felt a rumble as he looked up to see a much larger robot crash onto the ground and began firing several towards him.
As Ventus fought the robot we see a large Atlesian Air Shipflying up high with Winter as well as her superior General Ironwood.
Ironwood was a man who wore white military uniform over a white shirt and red tie. He had combed over black hair and a metal strip over his right eyebrow.
"Sir, are you sure it's a good idea to send one of our prototypes?" Winter said, as Ironwood crossed his arms.
"Honestly I'm not sure, but if he wants to challenge our forces then we will show him our fullest might, no matter we will have him working for us whether he once too or not" Ironwood said, a serious look on his face as they continued watching.
We see Ventus as Fasttrack dodging each of the missiles until one exploded in front of him knocking the Young man into a building.
"Ugh…" Ventus said, slowly getting back up as he returned to normal.
"What's my aura like now?" He asked, as he threw away his cut up coat.
"You're in the yellow, your sister and your friends should be here any moment now" Tetrax said, as Ventus stretched.
"Then I guess I'm going to have to finish this guy quickly," Ventus said, as he slammed on his watch again.
"TalonSol!" He yelled, coming out of the building as he spread out his wings.
The robot shot several missiles towards forcing him to dodge each one "Alright, how do you like some of mine!".
He then struck a pose before firing several fiery feathers towards the robot which pierced its body causing it to fall back.
Talonsol then engulfed himself in rainbow coloured flames before he straight towards the robot and crashed right through it.
He flew up over the robot as he then held both hands to his hip as he began charging up a powerful fireball.
"TAKE THIS! RAAAAAHH!" Talonsol screamed, as he moved in front of him and fired a powerful red energy blast destroying the robot.
"Hah…hah…hah…" he said, slowly moving to the ground before returning to normal thought stumbling a bit.
"Man…that alien always…burns me out…" Ventus said, taking a few deep breaths when he saw something in the corner of his eyes.
"Got you!" Yang yelled, as Ventus barely moved out of the way of her attack.
He was about to change when he was trapped in a pink energy box "Huh?" He blinked, looking over to see Reina and the rest of team Rwby with Reina holding up the box.
"Good, we got him," Reina said, as Ventus slammed the box trying to speak but they couldn't hear him.
"Yeeesssh, Ventus why'd ya go do all of this?" Yang asked, looking at Ventus as Blake crossed her arms.
"Probably challenging Atlus for trying to arrest him," Blake said, looking at him.
"That's just stupid, he had his chance to escape he should have taken" Weiss scoffed.
"Yeah…a bit…too stupid" Reina said, thinking about it.
"Uh guys" Ruby called, as they looked over to see Ventus tapping in the box.
"What do you want?" Reina opened a window into the box as Ventus took a deep breath.
"Oh nothing, just want to thank you guys for coming at just the right time" he said, making their eyes widen "TETRAX NOW!"
The group of five then looked over at the Petrosapien landing in to the ground and forming a crystal wall.
"Wow! Another Diamond Head!" Ruby said, stars in her eyes as Yang crossed her arms "Well they are meant to be aliens".
"So is he here Tetrax?" Ventus asked, as the Petrosapien checked his screen "You were right, he is possessing one of them".
"Ventus…what is this?" Reina asked, releasing the box as Ventus smirked.
"Guys, meet Tetrax, an alien that helped me escape from being arrested" he explained "He said he was here to get the Omnitrix, but after he heard about the Zs'Skayr decided to help".
"Wait what? But Reina didn't you say he made that up" Weiss said, as Reina looked down "That's what I thought too".
"No, Zs'Skayr is a prominent alien criminal and a dictator on his planet and some of his dDNA was used for the Omnitrix but the DNA was still conscious, the Omnitrix was later upgraded to put him into stasis and now he's free" Tetraxexplained.
"And now he's possessing one of you guys to get close to me, so now we have to figure out who's who?" Ventus said, before turning his head.
"Ruby!" He said, making her perk up "H-Huh? Yeah?".
"How did we first meet?" Ventus said, making Ruby blink.
"Huh? Uh, it was back when we were still kids, after my mom died," Ruby said, thinking back to then "I was being bullied at the time because of what happened and you came to help me".
"Good, you're you" Ventus said, as Weiss turned to him "What are you doing?".
"Simple, Zs'Skayr only reawakened during the initiation so I'll be asking you guys questions to suss out which is real" he said, "Speaking of which, Weiss why am I now banned from your parents house?".
"My father called you a worthless annoyance and you attacked him for it" Weiss said, crossing her arms.
"Wait, you attacked her dad" Yang asked, as Ventus growled,"The dick deserved it, anyway Yang-".
"Yeah, shortie?" He said, making Ventus glare at her smiling face "…Alright".
"Alright, Reina" he said, turning to his sister "During the initiation you told me to leave, why?".
"…Because I was worried that you would do something reckless like get hurt by a Grimm again like when we were kids…so I pushed you away" Reina said, as Ventus slowly nodded "That…alright".
Everyone then looked over at Blake, as she stepped back a bit.
"Alright Blake might as well ask you now, you're hiding a secret and I want you to say it" Ventus said.
"Wait what?" Blake said, stepping back.
"How do you know that?" Reina asked, as Ventus smirked, "Because we met back when we're kids, I wasn't sure at first but now I know it's her".
"I-I don't know…about telling everyone" Blake said, as Ventus crossed his arms "Then just whispered it to me."
"Alright…fine" Blake said, walking up to Ventus and began whispering in his ear.
After a few moments of the others watching them as Ventus moved back with a smirk on his face.
"Yeah…WRONG ANSWER!" he yelled, shoving his gloved hand right at Blake as it glowed.
This knocked Blake back as the others were shocked to see Zs'Skayr floating out of her.
"Damn it! How did you know! I thought I was right!" He yelled, as Ventus smirked.
"Oh no you were spot on but I knew for a fact that Blake wouldn't just tell me her secret willingly, especially for such an obvious lie" he said, making Zs'Skayr growl.
"Tetrax! Now!" Ventus yelled, as the Petrosapien pulled out his solar gun and aimed it towards the Ectonurite.
"Heh, I already know what that is!" Zs'Skayr said, as he dodged the blast before flying into Tetrax's body.
"G-Gah!" He said falling to his knees as Ventus ran up to him.
"Tetrax hold on, I'll get him out and-" he said, readying the glove but then Tetrax gripped his hand tightly.
"Oh I don't think so" he said, as Ventus looked at his face to see his eyes turning purple with black cracks going around.
He then lifted Ventus up before slamming him to the ground and throwing him towards the diamond wall.
"Shit!" Ventus said, quickly choosing an alien to change into.
With a flash he changed into Four Arms as he crashed through the wall and skidded on the ground.
"Hmph" Zs'Skayr said, making his way towards Ventus when Yang came in.
"Oh no you don't you ghost bastard" Yang yelled, her eyes turning red as she threw a fist right at Zs'Skayr face cracking Tetrax's diamond body a bit as he looked over at and grinned.
"Ugh…" Four arms said, shaking his head as he tried to get back up.
"YANG NO!" He heard, looking over to see Yang who was possessed by Zs'Skayr dashing towards him while the others chased after her.
Reina and Weiss tried making a wall to block her with their semblances while Ruby and Blake fired at her.
Yang just smirked as he fired her weapons at the ground, sending her flying into the air and over their wall.
"Alright here we…wait a minute" Four arms said, before he remembered something.
"If Zs'Skayr possesses your friend Yang, transform into Castcoon"
He then looked down at the Omnitrix before slapping it causing a bright green flash as Yang pulled her fist back for a punch.
However this punch was soon met by a punch from Castcoon, cracking it's armour a bit.
The two then sent a flurry of punches towards each other.
"Why did he switch aliens?" Weiss said, as Blake agreed "Yeah Yang's clearly a bit faster than that alien ''.
There were more and more cracks appearing on the armour until with a final punch she shattered the entirety of Castcoon upper half.
"VENTUS!" Ruby and Reina gasped, as they saw Castcoons body fall back but releasing some kind of blue steam.
"Hahaha! Finally! The Omnitrix will be mine and I shall be complete!" Zs'Skayr said as he left Yang and flew up high the steam Castcoon released following him.
"This world will be mine! The whole universe will be mine!" Zs'Skayr yelled, as he reached for the Omnitrix only to phase through it.
"What?" He said, before looking up to see his body still standing their with the others just looking up at him confused.
"Uh, is he going to do anything?" Yang blinked, shaking her head.
"What's going on! That's my body! But I'm right here I-" he yelled, before his eyes widened when he saw a figure behind.
(Play Giorno theme)
Hovering behind Zs'Skayr body, was a blue spirit-like alien that looked similar to a humanoid butterfly, a pair of antennae on his head and pure yellow eyes. His body was mostly blue but had what looked like stain glass marking all over his top half, with black legs and a belt around his waist with the Omnitrix symbol. He had his hand reached out with five blue webs connecting itself to the Ectonurite.
"What! What are you! You can't be Valiant! I killed him!" Zs'Skayr yelled, but the alien just stayed silent.
"I am the High lord of the transyl system! And you will answer my questions" Zs'Skayr roared, as he dashed towards the alien who looked down.
"…Dive…".
Suddenly at incredible speeds Zs'Skayr was pulled through the ground through his body much to the surprise of the others, with the alien following as well.
"W-What is this! This speed!" Zs'Skayr yelled "What the hell are you-!"
'Wait…that alien he turned into…it was a Lavarian… could this be what happens when their cocoon breaks! I always thought it was a myth!' He thought.
"No it's not, this power is real, the power to separate mind from body and control the body" Zs'Skayr heard as he looked over at Ventus "And now…I'm using it to take you to the one place no one can revive you…THE PLANETS CORE!".
"What!" Zs'Skayr said, as he looked at Ventus's serious face "No…no please you can't do this…I'm begging you! Don't kill me!".
"But…" he said, stopping their descent before looking over at the Ectonurite "If you answer my question I'll let you leave this planet and never return".
"W-What, what question" Zs'Skayr asked, as Ventus looked at him.
"How…do you reactive Omni, you shut him out so you can tell him how to bring him back" He asked, as Zs'Skayr grinned.
"You'd think I'd spare that useless fool…he's dead… I killed with my own hands! And he's never coming ba-Gah!" Zs'Skayr screamed, before being punched in the face by Ventus cracking his skull.
"W-Why! You said if I answer your question you'd let me go!" He yelled, as Ventus scoffed.
"Give me a break, did you seriously believe such a lie why would spare someone who had ruined my life and murdered one of my best friends, I don't spare of shit like you!" He said, as Zs'Skayr growled.
"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME!" Zs'Skayr yelled, dashing towards Ventus as he gripped his hand.
"Muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda" Ventus screamed as he sent hundred if not thousands of lunches right at Zs'Skayr being too quick for him to phase away as he was knocked above the alien hero.
"Wryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!" he screamed, sending more punches right at Zs'Skayr before flying above him.
"Muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda muda" he screamed, sending even more punches before grabbing the ghosts face.
"MUDA!" He screamed, throwing the alien right to his body reconnecting the a,Ken to his body towards the planets.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" He screamed, as he was burned away by the planet's core.
(End song)
"Hah…hah…hah…" Ventus said, as he gripped his hand "Omni…I avenged you…".
"But, I bet it didn't feel good" he heard, looking behind him to see that he was in some kind of house with Professor Paradox in front of him.
"Paradox…you're here" he said, looking around "Where is here?".
"This is my home in a way" he said, "I brought you here because I thought you might want some help with getting your dear friend back".
"What! How, I thought he had died" Ventus said, as Paradox smirked "Ah you forget dear Valiant, I am a time traveler I can send you back in time to the point Grimm infected your Omnitrix which reawakens Zs'Skayr".
"Really! I'll do it!" He said, as Professor Paradox laugh "Well that's good cause we're already here".
"Huh?" He blinked, before looking behind him to see they were known in the emerald forest and below them were Ventus as Talonsol, Omni, Reina and Grimm.
"Hah hah… fuuuuuuuccccckkkkk" he screamed "Why you're just a small brat that only had the watch for a few days! You don't even have nearly as much experience as the original user so why".
"We really are in the past, I thought it'd be more showy" he said, as Paradox looked at him.
"I thought you'd much rather get right into it" he said, as Ventus nodded.
"Fair enough, who knows how long I can stay as this alien for" he said, floating towards his past self.
"I've had enough," Ventus said, returning to normal "I don't want to ever see your face around here again, and if I do… I will kill you," he said, walking off.
"No!" Grim roared, standing back up before dashing towards Ventus however before he did the older Ventus shot his webs at Grimm to take control of his body.
"Rah!" He yelled, swinging his fist right at the younger Ventus punching him right in the face.
"Alright that's it!" Reina yelled, trapping Grimm in an energy bubble "Mind giving him a good blow you two".
"Sure thing" Omni said, entering the Omnitrix as Ventus slammed the watch.
"Humongousaur!" He roared, swinging his tail right at the ball sending Grimm flying away.
"Phew, hope we don't see that dick again" the younger Ventus said, returning to normal.
"C'mon let's head back to Beacon, maybe we can convince Ozpin to let us un after this distraction" she said, as the younger Ventus nodded "Good idea".
As they leave we see the Older Ventus watching this before noticing his body disappearing.
"What's happening?" He asked, looking over at Paradox.
"Your consciousness is being sent back to the future where I'm not certain but it should be around where the time you're from is" he explained, as Ventus gulped.
"Will I remember any of this?" He asked, as Paradox nodded, "Yes, but as a vague memory you won't be able to remember all of it, it will be different. It was a dream".
"That's good, well thank you Paradox, for everything" Ventus said, before he disappeared into energy particles.
"Good looks like I was able to fix this timeline from following the course of his timeline, hopefully the phenomenon those two share will be enough to stop him" Paradox said, before opening up a portal and walking through a portal.
Forever Falls
Third person P.O.V.
"Huh?" Fasttrack blinked, as we see him running through the forest after fighting Cardin.
"Is something wrong?" Omni asked as he shook his head "Don't know I feel like I had this long daydream and I finally woke up".
"Strange, well I'm sure it's nothing we should continue getting Jaune and your jars of syrup," Omni said, as Fasttrack nodded when suddenly in the corner of his eye he saw a missile coming towards him.
"What the! Woah!" He said, dodging the missile as it crashed into a tree causing it to explode.
"Huh" he blinked, before looking towards Cardin in a high tech suit of armour "Cardin? What are you wearing?".
"Like it, this baby was made specifically to kill you" Cardin said, making Fasttrack raise an eyebrow.
"He's not lying it looks like that suit is designed to counteract a number of the aliens we've used before" Omni said, as Fasttrack looked to Cardin "Where did you get something like that?".
"Let's just say you've made a lot of enemies, some of which you haven't realised" he said, as looking at Ventus.
"Now I'm going to beat you like the shrimp you are, and show everyone your little secret and prove that you ain't all you're cracked up to be you short bastard".
"Okay…you know what let's make this quick, Omni what's the best choice for this" he asked, as Omni beeped "I know one, but you won't like it".
"Go ahead, I just wanna head back" he said, pressing the Omnitrix symbol causing a bright flash.
"Huh?! Hey where did you go" Cardin yelled, seeing that Ventus was now gone.
As he looked around we saw a minuscule ball of green light land on his shoulder.
"You have gotta be kidding me" Ventus says, as we see him in the Nanomech form.
Nanomech takes the appearance of a nanochip human hybrid. Being less than 1 inch tall. His body is covered in metal like skin with green wirelike veins, with a pair of wings on each side of his spine that extend past his shoulders. He has a single eye in the middle of his head.
He also had sharp fingers on his hands to be used as knives and his feet became a 3 platform like shoe with 2 supports located at the heel and the main platform coming off the ankle.
"What? With this form we can enter the suit and mess it up without having to fight" Omni said, as Ventus sighed "Alright you got a good point".
He then charged up and fired a Laser from his eyes to open up a whole, then he used his wings to fly inside.
"Where are y-Huh?" He said, as the suit began short circuiting.
"What the hell" he said, before the suit powered down and ejected him "No!".
Nanomech flew out as the suit fell apart before returning to normal "Few all done".
"No…no…noooooo! This was my chance! And you ruined like you people always do!" Cardin yelled, as Ventus looked over at him.
"What are you talking about?" Ventus asked, as he growled.
"You and your group, you think you're special! Thinking you're so much better than the rest of us because of your skills, semblances and freaky alien watch" he screamed.
"All of you have something special! Even Jaune had the guts to stand up to me and you! He wasn't even meant to be here!" he yelled.
"I worked so hard to get to Beacon! Only to be in the shadow of all of you! I won't let that happen, not after all I went through just to get to Beacon" he screamed, before looking down tears welling up in his eyes.
Ventus was honestly surprised at Cardin's sudden outburst, as he walked up and sat down.
"Cardin…listen, I know what it's like…" he said, as Cardin glared at him "Shut up…no you don't".
"I do…feeling like all your hard work is for nothing…that you won't be acknowledged…that you'll always be in the shadow of people that are better then you… it sucks, it really does' ' he said.
"But you have the watch, why wouldn't you be the best around" Cardin said, as Bentus showed him the watch "I found this by completely and total luck not 3 months ago, before that I was just like you some bully angry at everyone and lashing out" he sighed.
"And yeah having this power and finally be acknowledged was great, but I started questioning did I really deserve to be in the same level as everyone else" he said "Like you everyone worked themselves half to death to get into Beacon but me…I got in because I found a watch, no other reason…".
He then looked up at Omni with a smile on his face "But then somebody told me something that made me think of this another way".
"What did he say?" Cardin said, sitting up as Ventus looked at the watch.
"They said, just because I have the watch doesn't make me invincible, if it wasn't for the skills I built up over my own trading and my own hard work I wouldn't be able to adapt to all of the aliens form I can become, I deserve the Omnitrix a lot more than many other people" he said, making Omni smile
"Alright, but what about me" he said, as Ventus sighed and looked over at him.
"Cardin, why do you think Ozpin picked Jaune to become leader" he said, making Cardin think about it "Because he snuck himself in?".
"No, dude Ozpin was able to figure me out a week after I got it Ozpin saw something Jaune that made him be chosen as leader, something he saw in Ruby as well" he said, before looking at Cardin "And I think he might've seen something in you, something you don't even see in yourself".
"So you can either stay here crying to yourself, continue bullying people that are better than you or start getting better yourself, what do you say?" Ventus asked, offering a hand as he stared at it before grabbing it.
"So what do we do with all of this" he said, pointing to the armour.
"Oh don't worry I got it" Ventus said, activating the watch before slamming it down transforming into Upchuck.
"Papa's hungry!" He said, before he began eating the armour which disgusted Cardin "Ugh, sick".
As this happened we see Reina and Team Rwby had listened to this speech, Reina having a proud smile on her face.
Beacon
Night time
Third person P.O.V.
"Hmm, pretty night" Ventus said, as we see him in his Pyjama's in Beacon looking up at the moon.
"Trouble sleeping?" He heard, looking back to see Ozpin walking up to him.
"Something like that, you?" He asked, as Ozpin smiled.
"You could say that" he said, joining Ventus in the moon viewing "Reina told me about your little talk with Cardin".
"Oh great, Ozpin I-" "How long do you think it takes to enroll someone in the school".
"Huh?" Ventus blinked, as Ozpin sipped some coffee "A few months at least with all the paperwork and approvals, makes it really hard to fit someone in so close to when the enrollment ceremony starts?".
"What are you saying?" Ventus asked, as Ozpin looked at him "What I am saying is I had decided to enroll both Miss Rose and You long before we met, and before you found the Omnitrix".
"Wait what?! But then why-" "Did I enroll you two, well for Ms Rose you could say she reminded me of her mother, and I saw a lot of potential in her".
"As for you…I saw a young man who could bring out the best in so many people" he said, surprising Ventus "What?".
"You did it for your sister Reina, you did it for Miss Rose, you did it for Mr Arc and even for Mr Winchester" he said, turning around.
"You have the gift that could help many hunters, I just wanted you to know that" he said, walking back.
Ventus watched Ozpin, a smile growing on his face as he looked over at the shining moon before he walked back to his room.
And done! Wow, this felt like the season finale with so many arc conclusions but we still got a bit more.
I really hope this chapter was satisfying for all of you guys, I put so much effort into this chapter so I hoped you enjoyed it.
