Chapter 12

Pastor Young's House

Pastor Young released the gas hose from the back of his stove, as members of the Council were in the house with him "Folks, by now, you know that Miss Elena Gilbert has died at the hands of Vampires." he said as vervain along with vampire killing weapons were on the table, while the 11 other council members were passing it around to each other.

"And it won't be long before they retaliate against us. But fear not," He locks the front door as he says this, "For I have been chosen to lead us in a movement."

"What are you talking about?" a council member asked.

"Hear me, loved ones. Soon you'll be free to pass through the gates." the pastor said as he pulled a lighter out of his pocket "And we'll all reunite in eternity." he said.

"Seriously, Pastor, what's going on here?" the council member asked in nervousness.

"Friends. We are the beginning." Pastor Young said before he lit the lighter and the council members screamed in fear before the kitchen exploded.

Naruto's Mansion

Nighttime

Naruto laid in bed, with Rebekah and Aurora on either side of him and Katerina and Bonnie laying peacefully on his chest. It had been a month since they had defeated Esther and Russel Edginton. Elijah had gone off to do his own thing for a while and oversee the unlinking of the vampires of Apocrypha while Kol went off to have fun. Naruto, meanwhile, stayed in Mystic Falls with Aurora, Rebekah, Katerina and Bonnie. Which, when it's just the 5 of them, led to a lot of sex. Not that he was complaining, his appetite was near insatiable.

Looking over to the table, he saw 3 empty bottles that once contained the elixir to neutralize the moonflower tea in Katherine, Rebekah, and Aurora, leading him to have a flashback back to the mid-afternoon, before today's marathon sex had begun.

Flashback

Naruto was in his bedroom with the 4 women, placing 3 bottles on his nightstand, causing Aurora and Rebekah to gasp, while Katherine and Bonnie were confused. "Is that-" Aurora asked as she sped over to him and took one of the bottles into her hand.

"Yes. He finished it. This right here, is the full tested version of the elixir." Naruto said, as Aurora began to get emotional.

"I hate to be that girl, but what is that stuff?" Katherine asked.

"Oh nothing, darling." Rebekah said as she got up and took a bottle for herself. "Just an elixir that will make it so any vampire can have children again." Katherine was for her part, shocked as she gingerly took the last bottle that Naruto gave brought into her hands.

"How is that even possible?" Katherine asked as she was overwhelmed with emotion. She still remembered having to give up her only daughter, Nadia. It still haunted her to this day, and part of her hoped she would be able to see her again soon…but words could not describe the growing elation she was feeling.

"Yeah, I was always told that vampires couldn't have children." Bonnie asked.

"Well, Bon, it was never that simple," Naruto said as he pulled out the list that his adopted son gave to him when he showed them his child, showing it to Katherine and Bonnie, "You'll probably recognize these ingredients more than Bonnie will, Katerina."

She did end up recognizing the ingredients, so she asked, "Moonflower tea?"

"What is it?" Bon asked.

"It's basically universal birth control for medieval times. It can prevent pregnancy for women, while it increases sterility in men." Aurora explained.

"To make a long story short, Esther slipped this tea into us at some point during the day she turned us into vampires." Naruto said.

"Moonflower tea doesn't work like that. So, why would it all affect your sirelines to this day?" Katherine asked.

"It can when it's supercharged with dark magic." Naruto explained. "Esther spelled the effects of the tea and supercharged them, and when we all died with it in our systems and became vampires, she locked in the spell. No one ever suspected it, because she took the secret to her grave. But there is always a way to undo any type of magic, so one of mine and Aurora's adopted vampire children engineered a serum with a spell from his wife to neutralize the effects of the moonflower tea."

"So…we could have more children." Katherine said with tears of joy running down her cheeks, as the thing that was taken from her could be regained.

"It would take a few months for the tea to be fully neutralized." Naruto said as he got up. "But yes, you would be able to have children again."

Bonnie seemed to notice he was uneasy, and walked up behind him, running her hand on his arm. "What's wrong?"

Naruto sighed as he turned back to them. "It's not that I need the serum myself. Becoming a Werewolf again neutralized the tea's effects within me. I just…I've gone a thousand years, accepting the fact that I could never have children naturally. Now that I can again, I don't know what to think." Naruto had never had a child from his own flesh and blood in either life. It was different than taking pity on some kid and raising them as your own.

"Naruto, you, Aurora and I have raised many children these last 1000 years. You've been a good father to all of them. You don't have anything to fear from raising one that is your own flesh and blood." Rebekah said as she walked closer to him.

"And what of you, Aurora, Rebekah? When we married, we accepted the fact that we could never have our own children. So, what do you think now?" Naruto asked them, feeling a little better about it all.

"I loved you and devoted myself to you when I was human, my sweet love. What I think, is that it changes nothing, aside from the fact that we can finally have our own children." Aurora said as all three vampires seemed to be of similar mind, and gulped down the serum. "And even if it will take several months for it fully take effect, it doesn't mean we can't start trying right away."

Flashback End

Naruto's thoughts were interrupted when he heard buzzing from his phone and extended his hand out, telekinetically summoning the phone into his hands. Seeing who it was, he answered, "You're disturbing my sleep, Paxon."

"Apologies, my lord. But we have some new information concerning the Brotherhood of the Five and Qetsiyah." The Paxon Alpha that he had put in charge of the operation said to him.

"Do tell." Naruto said as his interest peaked.

"Your witches found Qetsiyah's remains yesterday and we are digging them up as we speak. If you intend to stay in Mystic Falls for the foreseeable future, we can have them transported there."

"That's fine." Naruto said.

"There is also the Hunter's. One that we have found is Galen Vaughn, former member of the Australian Military. Though, there is another much closer to Mystic Falls and he has a friend by the name of Atticus Shane." Paxon said.

"Send me the information. I'll look it over in the morning." Naruto said, as he would prefer to just lay in bed with his lovers right now.

"Understood. I'll keep you posted of any developments, my Lord." With that, the werewolf hung up and Naruto went back to sleep.

In the Morning

Naruto was drinking some coffee, sitting on the couch by the fireplace, as he looked over the information that had been sent to him about Atticus Shane. Atticus Shane once had a wife, Caitlin, who Apocrypha had confirmed was a witch. They had a son named Sam. When Sam died in a tragic car accident, it was theorized that Caitlin used Expression magic to try to revive him but instead, it backfired and killed her. That left Naruto concerned already. Expression was a form of extremely dark and powerful magic that supposedly draws on energy that is so malicious it would demolish the world if it were ever called into existence. If there were any unbiased accounts of this form of magic, Apocrypha had yet to find them. What Apocrypha DID know for certain, was that it worked by channeling the powers of 12 sacrifices of a particular race and anyone that has ever used Expression always ended up dead within a year. And now this guy had taken over the teaching position that Sheila Bennett used to handle at Whitmore College? Yeah, Naruto didn't like this guy already.

Then there were these hunters. Galen Vaughn had been a member of the Austrian Military, but when his term was up, he left the military and disappeared, showing up recently in Colorado, hunting the vampires there. Not a lot was known about Galen Vaughn, though Apocrypha had a bit more info on his counterpart, Connor Jordan. Jordan grew up in a rough neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. His rough upbringing eventually led to him join the United States Army, and around that time, he was serving in Iraq. Around that time, he met the man who would be his mentor, who was of the previous generation of Hunters. That man, Captain Isaac Stone, passed on everything he knew about hunting vampires to Connor before he was killed by a roadside bomb on a routine patrol. Connor killed his first vampire a few weeks later. Like Galen, he left to travel abroad after finishing his time in the Army and began to actively hunt vampires. He showed that he was quite good at it, showing a ruthless intelligence that all the Hunters display. The thing that made him more interesting though, was the fact that he was in contact with Shane. That left Naruto increasingly annoyed about this whole situation. If those two were in cahoots, they needed to be dealt with.

"What a pain," Naruto said as soft footsteps could be heard behind him. He turned around to see Aurora clothed in an expensive black nightgown that was probably worth more than what many Middle-Class Americans make in a year. His beloved wife had been a noblewoman in life, after all. One thing that never changed was her expensive taste, but owning most of the world's wealth meant that they never had to worry about it.

"What's troubling you, darling?" Aurora asked as she came around the couch to sit in his lap.

"This is what Paxon sent over last night while we were sleeping." Naruto said as he showed it to her on his phone. Aurora looked at his phone as she scrolled through the information becoming as concerned as her husband when she saw that this Shane guy had a connection to Expression.

"This Atticus Shane knows about Expression?" Aurora said in concern.

"Apparently. He also took over Sheila Bennett's old position at the local college after disappearing from society for a year." Naruto pointed out.

"I don't want Bonnie anywhere near this man." Aurora said vehemently. She had grown to like the sweet girl that Bonnie was, but the girl was still fairly naive and trusting, and it would end badly for her if she started listening to this Shane guy.

"Don't worry. I already talked with Rebekah. She agreed to keep an eye on Bonnie for the time being and make sure she didn't get into trouble. Katerina won't be able to help us with this, as she and Nadia are supposed to be meeting up, and they may not end up sticking around, and decide to go on a mother daughter road trip." Naruto pointed out.

"Good for her," Aurora said, at least happy Katerina was finally getting to know her daughter. "What about us?"

"The two of us will be going to check this Shane guy out, and figure out what he's up to, while Kali and several of my Hybrids apprehend this Connor Jordan." Naruto said, causing Aurora to look at him.

"Just the two of us?" she asked.

"We haven't had any alone time since we reunited in the Prison World. This is the perfect excuse to get some." Naruto said as the two shared a passionate kiss.

Noon

Whitmore College

Shane's Classroom

Prof. Shane stood in front of his classroom as he taught "When I say the word "witch", what pops into your head?" as Naruto and Aurora entered the classroom and sat in the back as Shane continued talking "Halloween costume? "Now, in reality, or in this reality at least, witches appear to cross every culture in history. They're the architects of the supernatural; responsible for everything that goes bump in the night from ghosts to vampires to doppelgangers."

Shane continued on in his lesson "Now, if you're a skeptic, you'd call that a coincidence. But, if you're a true believer, you know that there's really no such thing. It scares the crap out of us."

While Shane switched subjects, Naruto's nose twitched, which Aurora noticed. "What is it?"

"I smell a werewolf in the building," Naruto said as he looked around until his eyes locked on to a beautiful young woman with brown hair, olive skin and hazel green eyes on the far end of the room.

Inside Shanes Office

Shane was walking through a hallway back to his office. He opened the door and walked in to see Hayley Marshall, the werewolf girl Naruto saw earlier, sitting against his desk. "You ever hear of a text message? Maybe just give a guy a heads up?" He said.

"You said in your message you have information about my parents." Hayley Marshall said, not in the mood for any beating around the bush.

"Right." Shane said as he reached into his coat and pulled out a flash drive. "This is everything you always wanted to know about your biological parents. And it's encoded in case you're thinking of a smash-and-grab."

"What exactly do you want from me?" Hayley asked him.

"Just bring me twelve of Naruto Mikaelson's hybrids, unsired, and it's yours." Shane said and that made Hayley Marshall a bit queasy. Anyone with any worth in the supernatural world knew who Naruto Mikaelson was. The Original Hybrid, King of the Supernatural World and the most powerful being alive. Not to mention, everyone that served under him was known to be fanatically loyal. It was rumored that he had over 50 hybrids serving him. Unsiring them would not be easy. But, Hayley had been searching for years for information on her parents ever since she became a werewolf. This is the closest she has gotten to finding information about them in years. She needed the information on that stick. And though being around the guy that turned werewolves into his hybrid slaves made her uneasy, she would do it. Nothing would stop her from finding out information on her parents.

A few moments later

After Hayley left his office, Shane was prepping for another class when he was suddenly knocked to the ground. Groaning Shane saw Naruto locking the door as Aurora stood there smiling, "Hello Professor."

"Do I know you?" Shane asked.

"Not yet, but you're about to." Naruto said, as he gestured to Aurora. "Introductions first. This is my wife, Aurora Mikaelson.

"The First Wife of the King." Shane gasped before he looked at Naruto, "That means your Naruto Mikaelson, the King of all Monsters."

Shane looked to bolt from the room but Naruto was in front of him and a Spartan kick sent Shane to the ground, coughing as he cradled his chest, "Not so fast."

"We understand that you have knowledge about Expression magic and that you have been to a certain Island off the coast of Nova Scotia." Aurora started.

"You know about the island and the tomb, then," Shane said, climbing to his feet.

"We discovered it back in 1659 after Kol came across a group of Silas worshippers and we've gone to great lengths to keep it hidden from the world, so you see, you finding it is a bit of a problem for us. We also know you've been in contact with a certain hunter by the name of Connor Jordan, so we know you know all about the Silas and Qetsiyah." Aurora said.

"Here's the thing, even if you complete the mark and you get the map, the tomb that the map leads to is sealed with a spell only a certain kind of witch can perform." Shane said.

"A Bennett witch, because the Bennet family are the direct descendants of Qetsiyah." Naruto said.

"Aren't too many of those lying around as I'm sure you know. So, none of that matters until Bonnie is strong enough to perform the spell needed to unlock the tomb." Shane replied.

Naruto stepped forward. "Bonnie is not getting anywhere near Expression or the Silas business." Naruto said before he grabbed Shane and looked him in the eye, starting to compel him "Now, tell me what you know."

"Compulsion won't work. It's a little trick I picked up in Tibet." Shane said.

"Young man, I'm the vampire that discovered and developed compulsion. Do you really think I wouldn't come up with other ways of enhancing its use? I've been aware of this little trick for some time now, and have already developed a counter measure." Naruto replied he closed his eyes and reopened them, a violet hue around his sclera as his pupils dilated, "You will tell me everything, including what you want with that werewolf girl that was in here a few moments ago."

Whitmore College Cafe

Hayley was grabbing herself a cup of coffee while deciding what to do with Shane's offer. It was at that moment that a sense of trepidation washed over her. She looked around, just seeing ordinary people but her senses were telling her there was a vampire nearby. She stopped looking around for a moment when she didn't see anything and took a sip of her coffee, only to see a very handsome looking man in front of the table she was sitting at. Her senses told her that this was the vampire she picked up just now.

"What do you want?" Hayley demanded to know.

"Don't be rude now, Little Wolf. I haven't even made any threats yet," Naruto smiled. "Some introductions first. I'm Naruto Mikaelson." Hayley did not show any fear at the mention of the King of the Supernatural World, which Naruto thought was interesting. She was either brave, or resigned to the fact that he could kill her whenever he wanted. "You know, most mortals who know about me are usually scared when they first meet me."

"What's the point of being scared? If you wanted to, you could have just walked right up to me and ripped my head clean off after compelling the whole cafe to ignore what's going on." Hayley said, as she looked around and saw that the other humans in the cafe were actively avoiding looking in their general direction. "Which, I'm assuming you already did. The fact that we are even talking means you want something from me."

"You are correct on that part." Naruto said as he leaned in front of her, making her understand he was serious. "Atticus Shane has caught my attention, which is not good for his continued health. He knows too much, is dabbling around with magic that is extremely dangerous, and he has an unhealthy interest in one of my charges. I can't have that, so he's not going to be alive much longer once I get all the information I need from him. So, what's going happen, Little Wolf, is we are going to take this somewhere much more private, and then you will divulge to me what you know."

Noon

Naruto's Mansion

Naruto and Hayley were eating lunch, which consisted of expensive foods and fine wines, but then again, Naruto was one of, if not the richest men on the planet, having had a millennium to amass a huge fortune. Hayley, pulling her foot up onto her chair, took a sip of wine while Naruto said to her, "So, you're rested, you're fed. Tell me about your interactions with Shane."

"You know, most men get their power kick from torture and intimidation. With you, it's drinks and fine dining." Hayley said, though secretly she was glad he was treating her nice, as opposed to torturing her like his people were probably doing with Shane at this very moment.

"Well, in your case, I favor hospitality over unpleasantness," Naruto said with a smirk, "but I have been known to change my mind on a whim. Now, I know Shane wanted you to unsire 12 of my Hybrids for his sick machinations, but he's been mum on what he offered you. You can tell me, I promise I won't judge."

Hayley looked at him and thought for a moment before setting down her glass and readjusting in her seat, leaning forward. "I was in New York looking for information about my real parents. Shane found me and told me that he had information that could help me in my search."

"I see, you're an orphan trying to find out where you come from." Naruto said softly, "Well, that does explain that charming bravado of yours. Abandonment issues will do it every time." He said, speaking from experience.

"Sounds like you would know something about that." Hayley replies back.

"Well you're not wrong on that front. Anyway, I'm actually the one person in the world that is most capable of helping you find what you seek. I'm more than happy to do so, provided you continue to cooperate." Naruto said, letting her know his help did have a price, small though it was. Hayley didn't say anything, sipping her wine while contemplating what he had said.

3 Hours Later

Hayley walked into another room with a glass of scotch in her hand, Naruto following behind her and stopping in the doorway. She approached an area where some of Naruto's completed paintings laid on tables or stood propped up on the ground.

"Hate that," she said, flipping through larger ones standing upright, "Too much. I don't get that one."

Naruto walked further into the room, looking like he was about to say something but instead smiled and said nothing. Hayley starts picking up smaller paintings while continuing to give her opinions. I couldn't control whether my stepfather abused me or not, so art became an escape from that pain. It gave me the feeling of control in a life where I didn't have any. After I became an adult, art was no longer an escape from my torment but a valued hobby, as it taught me that one's vision can be achieved with sheer force of will. The same is true of life, provided one refuses to let anything stand in one's way."

Hayley smiles whilst looking up at Naruto through hooded eyes, and as she talks, leaning in to speak near his ear as she passed him. "So this is your thing- show a girl a few paintings, whine about your childhood, and I swoon and spill all my dirty secrets?", she teases.

Naruto got off the phone and said to Hayley, who was having another drink of scotch while watching the fireplace, "Aurora tells me that Shane told her everything he knew and our guys unlocked the flash drive he was offering you, so you're free to go. Or stay." He honestly was hoping she did stay, at least for one more night.

After a moment, Hayley responded by saying, "I could be persuaded to stay, enjoy some of the good life for just a little longer before going back to boring mediocrity." That brought a smile to Naruto's face. Hayley looked at the ground for a moment and said, "Do you know why I liked that painting?"

Hayley turned around and faced him. "Don't lie to me. Not about this." She had enough of dead end's for the last few years. She wasn't sure if she could handle another one.

"I wouldn't dare lie to you about this, little wolf. Matters of family are sacred, after all." Naruto said seriously.

"Tell me, please." Hayley asked.

"I'll admit, my information is a bit out of date. But, here's what I know. The Crescent Werewolves are a clan of werewolves that have been around at least as long as the Originals. The Crescent wolves were usually the major players in New Orleans supernatural politics, the other two factions, of course, being the Witches, and the vampire faction that sprouted up after my family landed there in 1703. The Crescents were based out of the Bayou Lafourche Region, which is just a few miles north of New Orleans. They've always lived there as long as I can remember." Naruto said as he showed her on a map.

"I don't know exactly what's become of them. I haven't been back in New Orleans since I left the city in 1919 to someone who I believed was capable of ruling it in my stead. I also haven't heard anything about the pack in over 2 decades, so I don't know what's become of them."

"Thank you," Hayley said, as this was indeed the closest she had gotten to finding real information about her origins. Eager to get down to New Orleans and start searching, she made to get up and get dressed when Naruto stopped her.

"It's 12:30 in the morning, Little Wolf. First off, nobody is going to be open. 2nd, your car is still back at Whitmore College. 3rd, I'm not the type of guy to kick a girl out after I just gave her a good time. Finally, since I know you are going to insist on going, at least wait until after you've had a good night's rest and had a bite to eat. I will take you back to Whitmore myself and you can begin your journey then." Naruto listed off, managing to convince Hayley to wait until tomorrow, so she climbed back into bed, lying peacefully on his chest while he pulled the covers over them and shut the lights off.

Next Morning

Naruto walked back into his mansion after he dropped Hayley back off at the College to find Aurora waiting for him. She was dressed in her expensive nightgown and had a bit of a sour look on her face.

"I know what you're gonna say. Yesterday was supposed to be just the 2 of us, and then it turned into business and then I spent all my time with the werewolf girl. I know that you are probably mad at me." Naruto said as Aurora sighed.

"I am the one person who doesn't have much right to be angry, my love. I opened this can of worms all those years ago back in Tuscany. I can't be angry about something that I gave you permission to do all those years ago. Besides, this isn't nearly as bad as that time you exploded on Elijah for letting Katerina escape." Aurora said as Naruto wrapped his arms around her waist.

"It doesn't mean I'm not gonna make it right with you." Naruto said as he looked into her eyes. "The next two days are ours. Whatever you want to do, we'll do. I don't even care if Qetsiyah's bones show up in the next hour, nothing is gonna distract me from my wife the next two days."

"Well, there is something I want from you right now," Aurora said seductively as took his hand and guided to her cunt, "Your wifes poor pussy is feeling so neglected."

At that Naruto smirked, that was one problem he was most eager to take care of. In an instant he'd picked her up and sped her back to his room before tossing her on the bed.
