Chapter 4 School Infiltration
Mia parked her car and took a deep breath before stepping out, she looked at the school building before her, "So this is Fumizuki Academy," She nervously straightened out her lab coat and checked her pockets. 'I have my backup plan ready just in case and my mints too.' She ate a mint, the cool breeze flavor claimed her nerves a little. "Maybe I should have gotten a suit for this, well here goes nothing."
Mia walked down the hallways of the university, she stopped as she heard footsteps behind her. "Mia hold up for a minute," said a girl with black hair and glasses. She had long braided hair while also wearing a similar lab coat as Mia.
"Oh hey Nina," said Mia, recognizing the girl. "What's up?"
"What's up? What's up with you, you've been acting a bit strange lately, is everything okay, you seem off lately?" said the girl, slightly worried.
Mia smiled. "Oh nothing, I'm doing just fine." said Mia wondering if she ever talked to Nina before.
"You sure, cause you look like your mind is elsewhere, did you hit a road pump into your research?"
"Huh oh no, I already completed my research." said Mia to the girls surprised. 'In fact I've already completed my next three research projects.'
"Wow really!" said Nina, surprised. "You already figured out how to accelerate certain brain functions."
"Yep," said Mia as they continued walking. "I'm surprised though, we work in different labs and you noticed I changed."
Nina blushed. "Oh well, there aren't many girl scientists around, so we gotta stick together." Though she stopped as she saw that Mia was looking at one of the community boards in the building. "Whatcha looking at?"
"Huh, oh well I was thinking of taking a step back from my research and doing something slower, maybe work on something small for a bit," said Mia as she reached for one of the papers. "Like maybe the avatar system, it might be beneficial to work on something like that, I might get some good data seeing how some kids fight in battle. Though I doubt any school will take me anytime soon."
'Oh I get it, she just got done with something big, I've heard some researchers do things like this from time to time. Finish a big project then teach for a little while before working on something big again.' Thought Nina before she remembered something. "Actually it might not be that hard." said Nina, getting Mia's attention. "You're an accomplished doctor who just finished a project. All you really need is the clearance from the school's faculty and you're pretty much all set."
Mia looked at her surprised, "Seriously?!'
"There's no way this is going to work."

"Welcome to the faculty, Ms. Shiono," said the principal.
"SERIOUSLY!" Shouted Mia realizing how loud she was. "Sorry, but I just got here, gave you my name and literally just said 'I wanted to teach here so I can learn more about the avatar system.', nothing else."
The Principal chuckled. "Well your not the first scientist I've met that's wanted to teach highschoolers as a change of pass, not to mention I have a few friends that work with your university, so I know your one of the best and brightest they have, and to top it off having you here will hopefully boost our reputation."
"Uuh thanks," was all Mia could say as she was still blown away with how easy this was. "I uh...I wasn't expecting results this quickly."
"We have to move work in this world," said the Principle. "Now which class are you interested in?"
"Uhh well," Mia pondered for a moment how to word this. "I'm here to study the brain effects of the avatar system so if I could teach one of those probationary students, that would be the best, but I would also like the data of a regular exceeding student. You wouldn't have a class with both, would you?"
The principal smiled. "I have the perfect class for you." Suddenly the doors opened as Mr. Nishimura and , though Ms. Takeuchi looked lost in thought. "Ah Mr. Nishimura, allow me to introduce our newest faculty Ms. Shiono. Mr. Nishimura, can you find a space for her desk?"
"Of course," said Nishimura, giving Mia a friendly smile. "Welcome Ms. Shiono, I hope you find your time here at this academy well."
"Oh thank you but please call me Mia, I'm not big on formalities. It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Nakamura, you too Ms. Takeuchi."
"Oh yes," said Takeuchi, snapping out of her thoughts. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well."
Mia tilted her head. "Is everything alright?"
"Oh yes, just thinking about something." she said with a slight blush. "Sorry."
Principle Toudou stamped a few papers, before standing up. "Well how about we all go and show you to your new class."
Mia's head tilted in confusion. "It's Sunday, are my students here?"
"Yep."
Nakamura realized which class it was. "What, is she taking them?"
"Yep, I hope she can save those idiots."
"Are they that stupid?" asked Mia.
"Oh yeah, chances are right now there doing something barbaically stupid."
"Come now," said Takeuchi. "They're not that bad."

"WHY AM I BEING CRUCIFIED!?" screamed Akihisa as he was now tied to a post in the middle of class surrounded by his fellow classmates who now dawned in inquisitor robes.
One of them slammed a gavel down. "Now let's start the trail of the traitor. What are his crimes?"
"He has committed one of the worst offenses known yet to this inquisition." yelled Kota wearing robes.
"Kota, why are you with them?" yelled Akihisa.
Kota was on the verge of tears. "Because I was the one that saw you, you committed one of the worst crimes ever."
In the background both Hideyoshi and Yuuji were watching the madness unfolded. "Yuuji what did Akihisa do this time?"
"I honestly have no idea?" admitted Yuuji, just as surprised as the others.
They all turned back to the trail. "I saw you hitting on a teacher." causing gasps from the other class F boys.
The head inquisitor began to repeatedly slam his gavel. "We don't need a jury, he's guilty guilty guilty."
"Guilty, Guilty, Guilty!" echoed the others.
"WAIT, I never hit on any teacher." Yelled a very panicked Akihisa.
"Yeah I have to agree." said Yuuji, stepping forward. "Akihisa is an idiot, how the hell would he have hit on a teacher?"
The inquisition began to murmur to themselves before the head inquisitor slammed his gavel. "Alright, Kota, who was the teacher he hit on?"
"Ms. Takeuchi, Sir" he said with a salute
"Akihisa Yoshii, how would you plead to this claim?"
"Huh?" Akihisa thought for a moment. " ….uh all I did was talk to her."
Yuuji was now nervous. "What did you say?"
Akihisa remembered running into her in the hallway before class. "Oh Hey, ."
"Oh Hello Akihisa, is there something I can help you with?" replied the teacher.
"Well, I was just wondering about the other day, when my avatar kind of went out of whack. I was just wondering if I was in any more trouble for that?"
The teacher thought for a moment. "I can't really say, I haven't really been told anything. In fact I think I would be the last to know."
"Really? I thought with you being the teacher present you would be one of the people to know." she shook her head. "Huh, wait you're not in any trouble are you?"
"Huh? Why would I be in trouble?"
Akihisa scratched his head. "Well a few weeks ago I got in trouble for accidentally breaking a chair with my avatar and Mr. Fukuhara got a talking to because he was supposed to watch me."
Takeuchi chuckled. "No, as far as I know I'm not in any trouble, but thanks for asking."
"Ah no problem," said Akihisa. "After everything that happened last week, my grandma told me to stop causing so many pretty ladies trouble." He didn't notice but he caused Takeuchi to blush. "Well anyway thanks."
"And that's all that happened." said Akihisa. "Now can someone untie me?"
The inquisitors began to murmur to each other again. "Well it seems you didn't try to hit on her as much as we thought."
Hideyoshi raised his hand. "Wait a minute, why did your grandmother tell you to stop causing pretty ladies trouble?"
Akihisa froze for a moment as he thought of a quick excuse. "Oh I apparently hugged a nurse when I was at the hospital." he lied.
"YOU HUGGED A NURSE!" yelled the inquisitor.
"GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY" yelled the other inquisitors.
"WAIT!" yelled Akihisa. "You can't fault me for that, I was high."
The inquisitors went silent before they began to murmur to themselves once more.
Knock Knock.
"Hi, is my sister here?" said a little girl with then saw Akihisa strapped to a post. "Oh hey stupid."
"Hey Hazuki, what are you doing here?" said Akihisa as if he wasn't tied to a post.
"Whoa hold up Akihisa," said Minami acknowledging him for the first time since the trail started. "How do you know my sister?"
Hazuki giggled. "He's my boyfriend."
"WHAAAAAT!"
"GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY"
"AHHHHHHHHH" Akihisa's scream could be heard throughout campus.
Kota then put an apple into Akihisa's mouth, with tears in his eyes. The lights dimmed leaving just the two of them. "This is for betraying me, I thought we were friends."
"WHY IS HE TIED TO A POST!?" yelled a voice cutting through the dramatic moment. Everyone in the classroom looked to see a blonde bombshell causing everyone to stop the current tourture of Aki who would have screamed if there wasn't an apple in his mouth.
'MIA!' screamed Akihisa in his head as he recognized the woman. 'Oh god please don't make this worse.'
The guys began to stare as blood started to pour out of their nose, the girls minus Hazuki stare with jealousy, Minami for Mia's rack and Heimji for the woman's waist. Yuuji recovered first. "Uhh miss are you lost?"
"No she's not," said Principle Toudou walking in with the other teachers. "See I told you they would be doing something stupid."
"Shouldn't we be trying to help the boy who's tied up?" asked Mia who wanted to help Akihisa.
"Unfortunately, they do this kind of thing all the time." Said Nishimura
The principal then clapped her hands. "Alright, people allow me to introduce your new homeroom teacher-"
"MIA SHIONO!" Screamed Kouta as he jumped forward with his camera, his shirt already covered in his own blood along with his nose. He then began taking pictures like a mad man. He said as he brought out a science magazine that had Mia on the cover holding a beaker of her new formula.
'This one has to be Kouta, and here I thought Akihisa was exaggerating.' as she looked at the magazine. "I completely forgot about that." said Mia, a little surprised that someone recognized her. "So these are my new students?"
"Yep," said The principal.
"Wait, she's our new teacher!" said the students, causing Kota to faint due to blood loss and the triple F inquisition to praise the principal as if she was a god.
"That right, I'm your new teacher and my first rule, don't tie up your classmates." she said with authority as they released Akihisa causing him to fall to the ground.
Ms. Takeuchi nodded in agreement. "Are you alright, Yoshii?"
Akihisa stiffened as he felt eyes of jealousy burn into him. "Oh yeah, I'm doing just fine."
Yuuji decided to make sure their new teacher was sure this was something she wanted. "Hey, are you sure you want to do this? Our class is not normal and to be honest we can be a pain in the ass."
Mia smiled. 'So this must be Yuuji,' "Don't worry, I think I can handle this." She bent down to Kota. "Hey pervert boy, stand up I got a bra question for ya."
"HUH!" as everyone's eyes widened. As Kouta stood up straight as a board.
"A bra question." repeated Heimji.
"Is she serious?" asked Yuuji.
"I think she is." said Hideyoshi somewhat intrigued at what the new teacher was about to do.
"I have a few questions about bra's myself," said a very innocent Hazuki.
Minami saw this and quickly raised her hand. "Hey, would you mind if I take my sister for a walk real quick?"
"Why are you freaking out?" asked Akhisa in a whisper
"I do not want my sister to be around this if this gets any dirtier." said Minami whispering back.
Mia nodded. "Oh yeah go for it, I didn't even notice she was here." Minami nodded and took her sister out of the classroom. "Now with the kid gone, I have a question: how good is your math?"
"I'm terrible," said Kouta with blunt honesty.
Mia figured as much, she smiled and walked to the board. "Alright pervert I got an equation that I would like you to solve." She wrote an equation on the board. "Can you solve this?"
Kouta looked up at the math equation. "I have no idea, how does this have anything to do with bras?"
"Easy, you have a total of twenty women and all of them have either c cup or d cup bras on-"

"That's correct." said Mia, shocking the class.
"What the hell." said Nishimura.
Ms. Takeuchi pulled out a calculator. "He's right."

Akihisa had no idea where she was going with this but decided to play along. He smiled and brightened up. "Yeah I love playing video games."

"Oh yeah, I've even started playing some of the classics, like Legend of the Dragoon. It's awesome."
"I have no idea what that is but love the enthusiasm." said Mia writing on the board. 'God I really hope you've been studying more.' she thought. "Okay you are down to your last character with no way to revive the others. The boss has half hp left and your character does a constant damage of 252 with a critical strike that does 788 damage every fifth turn. The boss's starting hp is 4600, how many turns does it take to kill him?"
"7," answers Akihisa right off the bat.
"No fucking way." said Yuuji as he and the rest of the class stared at Akihisa in shock.
Ms Takeuchi checked the math. "Um he's right," .
"I was?!" said Akihisa. 'Holy shit, all that studying really is paying off.'
"How did you do that?" asked Nishimura as if he just saw a miracle, then again Akihisa just got a problem right, it was a miracle.
'This is working better than I hoped.' Mia tossed the chalk in the air before catching it. "I think I got this. Just leave them to me, I'll turn these idiots around, no sweat."
"Umm, you might be celebrating a little early." said Hideyoshi. "Math is one thing and I doubt that trick works for all of us."
Mia waved him off. "Don't worry your sweet little head, sister. I might not have taught before but I did graduate early and have a few PhDs, so I should be able to handle this."
"Well don't say I didn't warn you," said Hideyoshi before he got serious. "Also I'm a guy."
Mia's eyes went wide as she stared at Hideyoshi, 'Say the fuck what, is that true cause this cutie looks better than most girls I know.' she thought.
Mia turned to the other teachers who began to look at each other before they looked back and shrugged. "HEY!"

Minami was outside sitting on a bench with her sister, listening to her story of how Hazuki met Akihisa. "So he was the one that help you get the stuffed animal?"
"Uh huh," said Hazuki with a nodd. "He might be stupid but he's so very kind, so when I get older I would like stupid to be my boyfriend."
Minami smiled. "Yeah he is kind," as she remembered how he tried to say hello to her in german but the idiot was speaking french. "He really is an idiot."
Hazuki noticed how much her sister was blushing while she was thinking. "Oh I get it now, you like stupid."
"What, no I don't."
"Then why did you make lunch for him?"
"No I didn't and how do you know about the lunches?"
"Oh that's right," Hazuki reached into her bag and brought the two box lunches. "I came here today to bring these to you."
"My lunches." Minami grabbed the lunches. "I had no idea I forgot these."
"GANG WAY!" The sisters turned to see a burnt Akihisa running towards them as he dived behind the bench. He slowly popped his head out. "Oh hey, Minami, Hazuki, how's it going?"
"Not bad," said Hazuki. "By the way, your hair is on fire."
"You okay?" asked Minami as Akihisa snuffed out the flame.
"Oh yeah nothing like getting burned alive to get you running," he said as he saw the lunches. "Oh are you two about to eat lunch?"
Minami became flustered for a moment, while Hazuki smiled. "We sure are, would you like to try some?"
"Hazuki!"
"Sure I loved to." said Akihisa with a smile. 'With this I'll have an excuse not to eat Hemiji's cooking.'
"Aki," he turned to see Heimji holding a bento. "There you are, I was hoping you would try some of my cooking."
Akihisa turned to stone as he looked at the bento. 'NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO' he screamed in his head. 'Say no, just say no Akihisa.' he then made the mistake of looking at her smiling face. "I uh, sure, but I just agreed to have some of Minami's food."
"Oh," said Hemji as she looked a little disappointed, Hazuki noticed then saw how her sister was looking slightly nervous.
"Hey you, the highschool girl who helped me get my small stuffed animal." said Hazuki, breaking the tension.
"Oh hello," said Heimji.
Hazuki then remembered something her sister told her. "Are you the other girl, that went on a date with my sister?"
All three teenagers went red at the question, Minami began yelling in german and Heimji looked like she was about to faint, while Akihisa began to fantasize as his nose started to bleed. 'That wouldn't be too bad.' he thought.
Minami then shoved the lunch she made into Akihisa's arms. "Here eat that while I have a talk with my sister."
Heimji mimicked her and placed her lunch on top of Minami's. "How about you start eating, I feel somewhat responsible here so I'm going to go help out Minami."
Akihisa watched them leave,"Huh, well that was unexpected." He then mindlessly opened the lunch and took a bite. He froze as he felt his soul scream. 'I opened the wrong box.'
"Oh wow that must be good if it shuts you up." Said Yuuji followed by Kouta and Hideyoshi.
It took all of his will power to swallow the food, but he dug deep and found the strength. He then turned to the others giving his best smile. "You guys want some?" Soon all four of them found themselves in the nurse's office.

Mia was continuing a tour of the school with Ms. Takeuchi as the others went to go back to work. "That's pretty much everything," said Ms. Takeuchi as they made it back to the office area. "Is there anything else you need help with?"
"Ah no i think I should be able to take it from here," said Mia "Hey I don't think I ever got your name?"
The teacher blinked. "Oh my name is Yui. Yui Takeuchi. Sorry I guess I should have properly introduced myself sooner."
"It's all good," said Mia. "You seem to have your mind on other things. Just by chance it is a guy."
Yui frowned slightly. "Not exactly. You know that kid you called up to the board," Mia nodded as she knew it was Akihisa. "Well earlier he made a comment about how he was told by his grandfather not to cause pretty ladies trouble and well it kind of hit home."
"Are you bothered that a student complimented you? Does your man not give you enough compliments?"
"That's the problem," she grumbled. "I haven't had a man in over a year and I'm starting to feel it. The fact that a student was the first to say something is what has me down."
"You're single!" Mia knew this but was still surprised. "Girl with your looks you should have men lining up for you."
"Thanks," Yui smiled as she gave Mia a look over, noticing her body. "How about you, do you have a guy?"
Mia gave a nervous smile. "Yeah, he's kind, funny and a great cook but he's a bit of an idiot."
"Just rub it in why don'tcha." she said, slightly depressed as she realized how much she missed having a guy for herself.
Mia noticed that look. "Hey if you really wanted some you could just ask one of the students." earning a massive blush from Yui. "None of them would ever leave you."
"I would never," spurted out the teacher. "That would just be...unprofessional... and and… wrong."
Mia just chuckled, "Sorry, sorry, how about I buy you a drink later."
Yui perked up at that. "That sounds nice."
"Hey you want a mint?"

Mia snapped out of it first as she noticed that Yui was beginning to breathe faster, 'Well I do need to get to the server room to correct Akihisa's avatar,' Mia stepped forward. "Um hey Yui, uh, I know he's technically my student…"
Yui shook her head. "Say no more. It's not even your first day, I'll make sure he gets back to class."
"Thanks," as Mia began to walk off. "I'm going to head back to the principal's office and see if they need anything else from me." 'She should be fine, hopefully.'

Akihisa paused for a moment as he remembered his life before he came back in time, all the places he worked and all the opportunities that came by. "You know I don't know." Yui then wobbled for a moment before her knees buckled. "Ms. Takeuchi, are you alright?"
"I'm fine." she said quickly. As her body felt hotter and hotter. "I'm doing just fine."
Even Akihisa could tell she was lying. "Hey how about we get some fresh air," as he moved towards the window, to open it. She nodded in agreement as she walked towards it. "Ah isn't this a good breeze?"

She looked at the boy in front of her and everything told her that all of this was a mistake that he would use her, but here he is asking for her number as if he was asking her out like normal. "Sure, but first we should probably clean this place up before someone comes back."
Akihisa agreed and they soon began to strip the bed they had used, they found the spare sheets and began to put the sheets on when the nurse came back. "Huh? Ms. Takeuchi, Mr. Yoshii, what are you two doing here?"
Yui began to inwardly panic before Akihisa stepped forward. "I'm sorry, Ms. Takeuchi brought me here as she thought I was getting sick again. Sorry I left the bed in a mess." As he held out the sheets, causing Yui to somewhat freakout.
"What? You weren't the one who threw up you idiot." Said the Nurse. "It was that friend of yours, the one that comes in here for the nose bleeds."
"Oh, really. Thank god for a moment I thought I was going crazy."
"Just toss the sheet into the washing machine next door and while you're at it start it."
"Yes Ma'am." As he made his way to the door.
"Hey," she yelled, stopping him. "When you put it in, just hit start, everything else is all set up, you hear. I've heard how stupid you can be so don't try anything, if you break, you're going to be the one to buy a new machine and I doubt you could afford it."
"Yes ma'am." as he left the room.
"Wrong way."
"Uh I knew that." as he changed direction.
"That kid has got a few screws loose."
"True," said Yui, giggling a bit at Akihisa's stupdiy. "But I'm sure he has other qualities that can make him shine."
"I'll believe it when I see it."

Akihisa stared at the ceiling of his apartment as he thought about the day, thinking over everything that happened, especially what had said. Though he was quickly kicked out of his thoughts as Mia barged into his apartment.
"CHEERS" she yelled holding a case of beers. "Guess who fixed your avatar."
"Oh you fixed my avatar, that's awesome." Akihisa said in a flat tone.
"You okay?" she asked as she passed Aki a beer. "I expected a little bit more enthusiasm with the whole breaking into your school to fix your avatar."
"Yeah sorry," as he took the beer, "Just thinking about what happened with Ms. Takeuchi today." before taking a drink of his beer.
"Oh yeah guess that drug really did mess with her."
Akihisa spit tanked his beer. "DRUG!?"
Mia scratched her cheek slightly. "Oh yeah, I uh may have accidentally given her some drugs when I meant to give her a mint."
"YOU ROOFIED MY TEACHER!?"
"Whoa hold up now, what do you mean roofied? The drug I made was to mimic the symptoms of the common cold."
"What?"
"Yeah that was kind of the original plan."
"Plan?"
"To fix your avatar," she explained. "You see I wasn't expecting them to give me the job so quickly so I thought that if it didn't work, I'd need a distraction to get to the computers to fix your avatar and giving you a drug that would trick your body into thinking you had a cold, you'd make a scene and give me a chance to get to the computers."
There was a long pause before Akihisa spoke. "SO you had nothing to do with me having sex with Ms. Takeuchi."
"YOU TWO DID IT!" Mia shouted. "Okay tell me exactly what happened." Akihisa then told her everything that happened. 'Okay that should not have happened. My drug shouldn't have had any effect like that.' She then looked at Akihisa. 'Could it have been him? While I was walking through the halls I overheard those two girls talking about him. Does he have some sort of hidden charm that attracts girls around him? This requires further study.' She decided she would make some notes on this for later. "Yeah my drug has nothing to do with that, that's all on her."
Akihisa groaned as he fell back on the couch. "Great, just great."
"I'm sensing there's something else going on."
"What am I going to do after high school," he asked himself out loud. "Before I never had a plan for really anything. Now that I have a chance to do this again, I don't have a plan. I mean I should at least think of something so I'm not starving myself."
"We'll that shouldn't be too hard if you think about it." said Mia, sitting down and placing Akihisa's head onto her lap. "Let's start with what you're good at."
'God, her lap is soft,' he thought. "Well off the top of my head would be cooking and video games." He then paused for a moment before sitting up. "That's it."
"What is."
"I remember years ago after high school and I was talking with Yuuji about something I should have done sooner. A bandwagon I missed."
"Okay that would be?"
"I'm going to become a streamer."
