AN: I was planning to get this chapter out last month but I was delayed because of life.
AN: Anyway, I hoped you enjoy this chapter, there's probably some misspellings I missed when checking this chapter twice. Which I will try to correct once I find them.
"Animals that aren't the Kitty, stay outside." Preston said as he dropped all of Lana's pets outside the door before closing and locking it.
"But I do everything with my friends!" Lana protested as she tried to get past Preston who was blocking her path.
"Children should not rough around unkempt animals, you should surround yourself with more sophisticated animals and more idealistic children." Preston lectured.
"But-" Lana was interrupted.
"When this movie comes out, you'll make lots of human friends." Preston said with a smile.
Lana froze, put her head down and silently nodded.
"Good girl." Preston praised patting her head. "Now go get ready for your scene."
Lana nodded again and got on the set with a not too enthusiastic expression.
"I want this scene to have more brightness. The music to be louder at this part and to be quieter at this part." Piper said to the people controlling the effects of the movie.
"Um, Ms. Jander?" Lucy asked quietly.
"What?" Piper asked, sounding impatient.
Lucy nervously pressed her index fingers together. "I was wondering if I could be in the next scene."
"Sorry, we already decided who was going to be in the next scene plus compared to your sisters, your outfit and posture isn't aligned with our message."
Lucy was dejected at the comment.
"Now be a good girl and go to the side." Piper said, motioning for the goth to shoo.
"Sigh," Lucy said as she did what she was told. She was soon sent crashing to the floor as someone bumped into her. Lucy, on the floor, looked up to see a startled Rube holding a piece of paper which included her lines for the scene.
"Oh sorry about that, didn't see you there…um." Rube said as she was unable to remember the goth's name.
"Lucy." Lucy muttered as she got up. She was reminded how everyone keeps forgetting her.
"Right, right." Rube said, walking past her.
Lily sat on the floor, facing the set. She was not paying attention to the instruction Preston was giving Lana or at the set in general. She was too deep in thought about her adored brother. Her brother, who she had betrayed after some convincing. She felt happy that she had been selected to star in a movie but now all she felt was-
Everyone jumped when the door slammed open. In walked Adam with the Kitty perched on his shoulders, two security guards holding a barely conscious Lola by each of her arms, and Kell.
The CEO of Stether did not look happy at all. She snapped her fingers and the two guards dropped Lola to the floor. Kell had marched right up to Preston, who was cowering over the woman's enraged expression. She grabbed him by the scruff of his shirt and yanked him toward herself.
"That little brat of yours snuck onto the set of another movie and disrupted a choreographic scene." Kell said, laced with anger.
"Oh no, that's not possible." Piper intervened. "Lola is a very brave girl, who brought forth the attention of her toxic brother. She's a hero."
"Uh, actually-" Luna tried to say.
"Hush now, Luna. Good children wait until the adults stop talking. " Piper ordered.
"Yeah, but the things Lola said about Lincoln weren't-", Luna tried to say.
"Luna, be quiet!" Piper demanded, raising her voice.
Kell decided to get the focus back on the subject she came to talk to the two about. "I don't care what the girl screams, just keep her out of trouble. I don't want any more disruptions on any other films. Am I clear!?" Kell demanded. Preston and Piper nodded their heads rapidly, neither of them wanted to get on the CEO's bad side.
Kell then glared at the Loud sisters, "The only rooms you girls better be in when you walk into my building, are the ones centered around the Ace Savvy movie and the restrooms, nothing else! Understand!?"
The sisters nodded.
Without another word Kell had stormed out, followed by Adam and the security guards. Lana approached the tall bald man as he was leaving.
"Excuse me, sir. I was wondering if I could play with the Kitty." Lana said. She saw how the Kitty seemed comfortable around Adam.
The Kitty looked down at her from Adam's shoulder but then averted his gaze with his nose to the air, eyes closed in disdain.
"The Kitty does not surround itself with unmodeled citizens." Adam responded as he didn't look in the tomboy's direction. Lana was taken back by Adam's coldness. He continued walking, Lana made a move to follow but was yanked back by Lori. Lana scowled up at her but the oldest Loud sister gave her a stern look.
"Lana, you're up!" Piper announced.
An African-American boy ran up the stairs and into a room that was overgrown. He looked out the window into the forest that was filled with fog. Footsteps were heard coming up the stairs, so he decided to jump out of the window and continued running through the forest.
After a while the boy stopped and turned around, revealing himself to be Clyde. He was wearing a blue and white suit. His head had been shaved giving him a buzz cut, his left eye was covered by a head gear that wrapped around his forehead. He used his uncovered right eye to look around in alarm before sighing in relief.
He froze and ducked further into the bush when he came across a group of kids, a number of them were carrying torches, blasters, bows, staffs, and blades. Some of them had mutated skins.
The children surrounded what appeared to be a Citro Trooper without his helmet. The Citro Trooper had a bruised face and his feet kicked and was making choking sounds. Clyde's one eye widened in horror as he realized the Citro Trooper was being hanged with wires around his neck.
His legs kicked in the air as he tried to free himself. The children just watched. Some of them were glowing and had skins unlike those of regular humans.
"Please…d…don't do this!" The unmasked Citro Trooper choked. "I'll…I'll tell you everything I know about Cl…Clue!"
"As if the words of an unevolved can be trusted." An overweight preteen in a green and brown suit said, walking forward. He held up a large rock which began to shift and mold into a knife.
"No! Please! No! No! Don't-" The preteen slammed the knife into the Citro Troopers chest. The Citro Trooper stopped struggling.
"Terrain, we lost sight of the traitor!" One girl ran to the group in an alarmed tone.
"Search the forest, I know he's here somewhere." The boy said before walking away as the kids dispersed in pairs.
The other kids ran off in separate directions,
Clyde waited until they were all gone before running forward.
"I can't see anything in this fog!"
"I don't know if these are his footsteps!"
"My flashlight is damaged!"
"Are we heading in the right direction!"
"This isn't Godzilla's territory is it!?"
"Let's not go this way!"
"Doesn't anyone have powers that could clear this fog!?"
Clyde kept glancing back as the voices began to falter.
"Woah!" He almost lost his balance but managed to stop himself. There was a broken overpass right in front of him.
He turned his head behind himself as he heard footsteps getting closer and closer. He took a deep breath before jumping. He made it across the overpass.
"There! He's over there!"
Clyde managed to duck under a flaming arrow. The dark skinned preteen jumped again and landed on a rooftop of an abandoned building. He jumped again. As he was in the air, a yellow energy struck him in the back of his shoulder.
"Aaaahhh!" Clyde screamed and crashed into the road. Clyde groaned again as he got on his hands and knees. He immediately began running down the road, he turned back and saw the group of Meta kids on the rooftops as they chased after him. Clyde ran, evading the laser beams, arrows and other projectiles they were firing at him.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
They all froze when they heard the booming footsteps. The meta children on the roof ran off in fear.
Clyde looked around and noticed an abandoned supermarket. He ran toward it as the giant footsteps got louder and louder.
He slammed the door open and ran and hid behind the back of an aisle. He focused his brown eye on the window. In the foggy outside, Godzilla's large reptilian foot stepped outside of the supermarket.
Clyde held his breath, his dark brown eyes widened in horror as Godzilla stopped. For a while Godzilla didn't do anything but kept his foot there. Clyde quietly backed away and reached the back door.
The back door slammed open and hit Clyde, sending his back into the aisle. Clyde groaned as he slid to the floor and looked up to see Douglass, who was wearing a green and brown suit. He was carrying a giant axe.
"Arson says that those who leave the Meta Frontier shall be dealt with." Douglass glared. He slammed his foot on the ground, rock pillars rose up from the ground in a line that headed straight for Clyde. The one-eyed boy rolled out of the way. He ran at Douglass with a determined expression as his hand started to glow green as he balled it into a fist.
When he got close enough, Clyde struck Douglass at the side of the face with his glowing blue fist. Douglass was sent crashing to the wall, dropping the giant axe in the process.
Douglass got up and growled, he extended one arm at Clyde. A wall of earth rose up from the floor and sped at Clyde. The African American boy jumped over it, but was then slammed by an earth wall that came from the side. Clyde grunted in pain as he was sent crashing into an aisle, knocking it over in the process.
The overweight boy leaped into the air, raising the giant axe. Clyde rolled out of the way as the blade of the axe sliced into the fallen aisle. Clyde punched Douglass in the stomach but recoiled and shook his hand in pain. Clyde then jumped backwards as stalagmites rose from the floor. Clyde landed on the top of one aisle.
They heard something shift outside and turned toward the entrance to see Godzilla's golden eyes looking them over. Douglass grinned nervously at the giant dinosaur and shifted his arm upward. Earth walls rose, blocking Godzilla's vision and preventing Clyde from escaping through the entrance.
Douglass created a trench under the aisle, causing the aisle to tip over and Clyde to fall off.
A trail of stalagmites slammed into Clyde, causing him to crash into the wall. The wall suddenly molded and bounded Clyde's wrists and feet.
"RAAAAGGGGHHHH!" Douglass screamed as he rushed him, raising his giant axe.
Clyde's hands and feet glowed green as he broke through the earth cuffs when the overweight boy got close enough. The dark skinned boy ducked under the swinging axe and slammed his glowing foot into Douglass's chin. Clyde then channeled his fists and punched Douglass across the face and sent his other fist into the side of Douglass's stomach. Douglass crashed into the wall, creating a large crate in the wall.
Douglass lowered his head and went limp, he was unconscious.
Clyde rushed through the back door, to find himself in another room with a ceiling that had a large hole in it.
Lincoln finished the comic up with One-Eyed Jack climbing out of the ceiling and watching Godzilla walking away. The detailed drawings in the comic did not match Lincoln's emotions as he had drawn aggressively in his room.
He had been scowling nonstop since he saw the video from Stether. Girl Jordan gave him his phone back once she saw his expression, Clyde had tried to calm him down but was unsuccessful, Stevie screamed and jumped into a trash can when he saw him. For dinner, his dad had made him his favorite meal. That did little to calm him as he chewed his food up aggressively.
With a sigh, he dropped his colored pencils and tried to calm himself and took a deep breath.
There was tense silence as Lynn Sr. drove the rented van to Lincoln's school. He looked in the rearview mirror at his son who was staring at nothing forward with a blank look. The patriarch was worried, his son had said nothing ever since coming home from school yesterday and had been scowling the entire time. The scowl had faded into a jaded expression but Lynn thought prom experience that his current expression was a red flag. The two had discussed what they should do but they couldn't do anything as Lola was at Stether, they couldn't properly punish her or voice their displeasure with her.
Both father and son heard shouting outside and looked up, both widening their eyes in shock. There was a mob outside of the school.
The majority of them were chanting. "LINCOLN LOUD IS A MENACE TO SOCIETY! LINCOLN LOUD IS A MENACE TO SOCIETY! LINCOLN LOUD IS A MENACE TO SOCIETY!"
The mob held up signs that displayed Lincoln's head with the devil horns coming out of his head, Lincoln with golden eyes and sharp teeth, Lincoln holding up a pistol with a devilish grin, Lincoln holding back two wolves with a chain leashes, Lincoln wearing a military visor hat, Lincoln grabbing a girl inappropriately, and many more demeaning drawings.
Some had signs that read, 'LINCOLN GET OUT OF OUR PROGRESSIVE SOCIETY', 'LINCOLN IS THE DEVIL', 'MONSTER SYMPATHIZERS HAVE NO PLACE IN OUR WORLD!', 'KEEP LINCOLN'S FILTHY HANDS FROM OUR YOUNG GIRLS', 'ROYAL WOODS ELEMENTARY HAS A SCHOOL SHOOTER'.
Lincoln stared at the crowd from inside the van and took a deep breath and got out of the van. The mob was held back by barriers that allowed the students to pass safely. The protestors shouted at the other kids that, "LINCOLN CORRUPTS THE MINDS OF THE YOUTH!"
The mob soon noticed his presence and began screaming and cursing at him.
"NO ONE WANTS YOU AROUND, YOU LITTLE STALKER!"
He continued walking, ignoring all the scowls and shouting he was receiving.
Lincoln was bombarded with all the loud noises to hear something being hurled at him.
"OW!", Lincoln shouted as a rock slammed into his head. He fell to one knee while clenching the right side of his forehead. The moist feeling in his hand and the rock that laid on the ground covered in red, let him know that his head was bleeding.
The crowd cheered at his pain, causing something to emerge deep inside of Lincoln. He growled and grabbed the rock. He thought about smashing it repeatedly into one of these rabid protesters' faces. But he looked around and saw the other kids staring at him, from outside and inside the school. His grip on the rock loosened as it fell to the floor. He headed inside, ignoring the chanting from outside and the looks from the other kids inside.
Boy Jordan watched with a gleeful smile as Lincoln headed inside. The blond chose to approach the crowd and showed them his phone. "I've got videos of Lincoln performing evil acts. This one here shows Lincoln smashing his little sister's face into everyone's food."
The directors and cast of Rise for Power watched from a television of the protesting on Royal Woods Elementary.
"That's the kid Lola screamed about?" Dominic asked.
"Yep, that's him." Rube said. "Never seen a kid with white hair before."
"He's kind of cute, though." Darly said, eyeing the boy with interest.
"Don't fall for his tricks! He is an evil little boy that's been influenced by Ace Savvy's toxicness!" Piper yelled.
"She's right, it is our responsibility to make sure that kid doesn't corrupt any other kids." Preston stated.
"Whatever." Darly dismissed.
The sisters had watched in horror as what was happening at school. Their brother was facing an angry mob that wanted to mount his head.
They gasped in horror when a rock hit Lincoln's head. The director duo cheered at this.
"Wincoln…" Lily said worriedly, she approached the TV and placed her hands on the screen.
The sisters winced once they saw the footage of Lincoln holding his bleeding head. Lynn then scowled and thrusted her foot into Lola's back, knocking the 6-year-old over.
"Ow! That hurt!" Lola screamed, glaring back at her sister.
"Good! You deserve it, you little brat!" Lynn said with hostility.
"Lynn, that wasn't very stunning of you." Piper reprimanded. "Lola, is a hero for letting everyone know how much toxicity lies within that boy."
Lily couldn't bear to watch any further of the mob throwing insults at Lincoln's back and waddled off. She opened the door and Charles rushed in. Lily watched as their pitbull terrier cowered in the corner before exiting the room. None of them noticed the baby wandering away from them.
Lily headed down the corridor, but she didn't know where she was going. She was deep in thought about her only brother. She loved Lincoln and he was her favorite caretaker. So why did she agree to keep him out of a movie he would love to be in.
Unknown to her, the Kitty stood on top of a shelf glaring down at the infant. The Kitty grinned sadistically at the human baby and lengthened his claws. The sinister black cat was about to pounce but then he heard something knock over. The Kitty turned and saw the hamster in the ball by a pile of knocked over boxes. The hamster looked up at the Kitty in visible fear before rolling away in his ball as fast as he could. The Kitty grinned, opting to go after the hamster again.
The youngest daughter of the Louds didn't notice the black cat leaping off the shelf and out of sight. She was too focused on her brother as she walked down the corridor.
Once she figured out that she was going to the set without Lincoln, she had thrown a fuss. She had screamed, kicked, punched, bit, and even thrown several objects until she was carried into her room. She was then stopped once her sister showed her drawing which was just a massive scribble then showed a colorful, detailed drawing of a T-Rex in the forest. The eyes weren't too far apart, the mouth wasn't too big, the colors didn't overlap, the background wasn't crooked, and many more details that Lily lacked in her own drawing. It was drawn by Lincoln but the thing was, according to her sister, Lincoln made that drawing when he was just a baby. Two months younger than her to be exact. This had created something in Lily that she had never felt before, insecurity. Her Dad didn't end up putting her drawings up at Lynn's Table after the grand opening. Though he didn't do most of her sisters' ideas. Whenever she proudly showed her family her drawings, they complimented her (except for Lisa). Because of this, Lily believed that she was a good drawer until Lisa created those stupid truth-detecting glasses and found out that her family had been lying to her. The fact that other babies at daycare drew better than her, like Carter, did not help at all. Though, they were nothing like the masterpieces Lincoln made. She wondered if Lincoln had taught Carter how to draw. She remembered how he would hang with the Pingreys, despite hating Conner, especially when the Sister Fight Protocol was active.
Just then, someone had exited the boys bathroom right in front of the infant, blocking Lily's path. Lily looked up as the door closed, revealing a boy with white hair.
"Wincoln?" Lily asked.
The boy had not seen or heard her and walked in the direction opposite from her.
"WINCOLN!" Lily called excitedly and crawled after the white haired boy.
Scotty yelped as he ducked under a red ball that aimed for his head. Coach Pacowski had the kindergarteners play a brutal dodgeball match.
"I hate it when the coach makes us play dodgeball!" Scotty complained, as he and his classmates were in their red PE uniforms.
Colin just gripped a red ball in his hand, staring at it with a lost expression. No one targeted him while he was too deep in thought.
The redhead winced when the whistle blew, he dropped the ball.
"Hey, Carmichael! Get your head in the game!" Coach Pacowski shouted.
"Oh, sorry!" Colin said, sheepishly as he picked up the ball and threw it.
"You alright?" Scotty asked the redhead.
"Yeah, I'm just worried about Lincoln." Colin answered.
"I can't believe Lola said those things about him!" Camille said with anger in her voice.
"I always knew she was a Nazi deep down." Stewie said, sidestepping an incoming red ball.
"You know it's weird, I thought things would be nicer with Lola gone." Pam stated, before throwing a red ball. "But look outside." She said as she pointed to the window.
They all turned to the window and saw a woman holding a sign to the window that depicted Lincoln having devilish horns and grabbing a girl with a predatory grin.
"Lola probably didn't mean any of those things." Stuart said, hiding behind a girl and using her as a shield. "She was probably trying to appease those guys at Stether to get a bigger role."
They had all witnessed Lola trying to get the the lead role in the school plays. She has tried bribery, threats, and screaming but nowadays they usually failed.
"Why would she need to lie to get a bigger script? Weren't all those things those people outside saying true?" Stevie asked.
His siblings, Camille, and Colin gave him looks with half-lidded eyes.
"Trying to get a bigger part doesn't make what she said okay." Pam argued, ducking under a red ball.
Scotty looked on his phone and held it up with a worried expression. He was the only one of the Fox kids to receive a phone.
"Even worse, Stether made a video explaining that Lincoln's behavior was because of Ace Savvy."
The video displayed Piper Jander and a reporter.
"This is what Ace Savvy does to children, they turn children into violent, monster-worshipping, sexist, homophobic, racist, stalking, fascist savages. Just like that little creep, Lincoln Loud."
"Uh huh, and do you have any evidence that the boy has displayed such behavior?" The female reporter asked with doubt in her voice.
"That's not necessary, the words of our heroic Lola are enough." Piper explained.
"Isn't she like six?" The reporter asked.
"We need to show how kids should behave, so we canceled all the Ace Savvy products, especially those toxic Ultimate comics and that Spectacular show." Piper explained with a proud smile. "Now we will promote heroes with none of those toxic traits that evil child shows. In fact, the chairwoman of Stether, Maise Pegster is in talks to purchase some better heroes."
Scotty stopped the video as he saw that Camille's face was turning red.
"How can Ace Savvy turn children homophonic! Ace likes both girls and boys! In the Ultimate comics and Spectacular show Ace's love interest were guys and people loved those series! Which Stether themselves canceled! Both were going to bring in One-Eyed Jack, one of the most well known black superheroes! GRRRR!" Camille was losing her temper. Her friends backed away as they never seen Camille lose her cool like this before. "And they have the nerve to-"
The whistle blew again
"Hey, McCauley! Get your head in the game!" Coach Pacowski yelled. Camille's eyes narrowed as her face turned red. A red ball was heading toward her.
She caught it with one hand and threw it at the girl who threw it at her. The opponent screamed as she was hit right in the face and sent rolling down the floor until she landed on her back. Her nose was bloodied as she laid unconscious.
"Oooh!" The other kindergarten students cringed at the brutal throw.
Camille gasped. "OH NO! WHAT HAVE I DONE!?" She ran to the girl's aid.
"Nice shot, Camille!" Coach Pacowski praised.
Lily followed the white haired boy as he walked through a double door. Lily crawled after him. She stopped as she found herself in a cafeteria with lots of people eating, talking, and walking toward tables.
The infant lost sight of her brother, she looked around desperately for the white haired boy and spotted him at a table with other kids. Lily crawled up to him but the boy didn't notice as he was facing the table and his face was concealed behind a comic.
Lily was confused as to why her brother was wearing a blue shirt instead of his usual orange but she recognized the superhero who was wearing a black suit with blue lines running down the suit that appeared to be glowing. There were also blue visors on the boy's face. The suit looked futuristic.
She remembered Lincoln reading this superhero comic called Tech Gear and trying and failing to get his sisters into Tech Gear.
This to her, only confirmed that this was her brother.
"WINCOLN!" Lily stood up and excitedly waddled toward him and hugged his foot.
She told him how much he was sorry and said that she didn't mean to betray him and that she immediately regretted it. Because she was a baby, all her talk came off as babbling.
The boy placed his comic down and looked down at her. She looked up and her smile dropped.
This was not her brother. One, this boy was much younger than Lincoln. Two, his white hair was shaggier. Three, he had no freckles. This was just some boy that also had white hair.
Non-Lincoln looked down at her with confusion.
"There you are!"
Lily was picked up, a little un-gently as she was used too. She stared at the security guard who was holding her. The security guard then carried her out of the food court without even looking down at the baby or the white haired boy who just stared in confusion.
Nurse Patti had treated Lincoln's injury and finished off with wrapping a bandage around his forehead. He gave the nurse a grateful smile before heading back to his class. Andrew and Papa Wheelie kept grinning wickedly at him and there was chanting outside the entire time.
He decided to skip lunch today, knowing he would have just been stared at. He instead chose to go into the art room and draw out his frustrations. He heard the 'LINCOLN LOUD IS A MENACE TO SOCIETY!' chant from outside. He made sure to close all the blinds so that they didn't know that he was in the room.
After he vented off his anger by draining pink, yellow, and red pencil crayons on several pieces of paper, he began to draw Spade killing that stupid, loud-mouthed-
Lincoln shook his head. He began to draw Spade and Seif robbing a house. They snuck in through a window and Spade got to the safe, managing to explode it open with his energy cards. The two brothers began putting all the cash and jewelry into a bag, suddenly-
Lincoln and Colin turned around to face a man and a woman. The woman stood behind the man as he held up a shotgun.
"Drop the bag, put your hands in the air right now or I swear I'll shoot."
Both of them dropped the bag and raised their hands in the air.
"Jenna, call the Citro Troops."
As the wife took out a phone, Lincoln acted. He leaped in the air and kicked the man in the face, sending him to the ground. He grabbed the woman's arm and made her drop the phone before stomping on it.
Colin hastily bent down and clumsily tried to gather as much of the jewelry and cash that fell out of the bag.
The husband cockked his shotgun and fired at the older brother who ducked under the blast and threw a energy card into the man's stomach. The man was sent crashing against the wall and laid there. He was dead.
"AUSTIN!" The wife cried as she rushed to her deceased husband. The two brothers climbed out of the window. Lincoln gave one look to the mourning wife before exiting.
They heard the sirens coming as they climbed over the force field fence. Lincoln grabbed his little brother's arm and ran down the subway stairs. They ran down the subway and through the tunnels as no sci-fi train was coming.
The two brothers stopped and took this time to catch their breaths. Colin looked like he wanted to say something but then froze.
"Um, Spade?" Colin asked nervously.
"What?" Lincoln asked. Colin shakily pointed up. Lincoln looked up in the direction he was pointing in.
"Oh my god!" Lincoln screamed in horror.
There was a teenaged girl with her hands tied in the air as she hanged lifelessly. Her head was down with her blond hair covering her face. Her clothes were soaked in blood.
'LOSER' was painted red on the wall above her, possibly blood.
Both brothers heard footsteps and turned to see two little kids, one boy and one girl. Both kids were covered in darkness thanks to the shadows but they had the silhouettes of Stevie and Pam.
The figures of the shadowed Stevie and Pam giggled. They suddenly dropped and vanished. It looked like they merged into the shadows.
Both Lincoln and Colin stared, alarmed.
"Lincoln, are you alright?"
Lincoln immediately looked up to see an Asian boy entering the classroom.
"Oh, Koji!" Lincoln said, surprised as he immediately hid his comic under a stash of papers while facing the other boy. "Yeah, I'm fine."
Koji got closer to him and scowled. "I can't believe that tattling pixie said those things about you."
"Yeah, I'll deal with her once she gets home." Lincoln said seriously.
"You're not gonna set her on fire, are you?" Koji asked in a concerned tone.
"No man, come on!" Lincoln said, horrified that Koji would suggest such a thing. He would never attempt to kill anyone in his family. Sure he'll lose his temper if they keep pressing that button and keep being stupid but he wouldn't kill them or leave anything permanent.
"Well that drawing of the Queen of Diamonds says otherwise." Koji said, pointing at one of the graphic drawings on the table. Lincoln saw that the drawing he was referring to was an arm that was encased with fire grabbing someone's face and setting that person's body on fire. Remnants of a pink dress, melted crown at the top of the head, and pieces of blonde scorched hair that remained showed that the person on fire was the Queen of Diamonds.
"I doubt the Human Torch would kill someone, no matter how bratty they are." Koji said.
"This is not the Human Torch, this is a new character that I created for my comic." Lincoln corrected.
"Oh, what's your comic about?" Koji asked. "Am I in it? Do we hook up?"
Lincoln blushed at that which made Koji laugh.
"So who's Ace Savvy's love interest? Is it a boy or a girl? And if it's a girl, please don't let it be Cristina, she's a complete nut-"
"Koji!" Lincoln glared.
"Well she is." Koji said with a smirk. "Seriously, what do you see in her?"
Lincoln noticed the clock and started to pack up.
"Look I haven't decided who the love interest would be. Anyway, lunchtime is over I better get back to-" As soon as Lincoln turned back, Koji was gone.
Lincoln felt hollow within his soul.
As school let out, the students piled out through the front door. The angry mob outside was still present, they kept chanting and searching for Lincoln among the students. Boy Jordan scowled as he saw that Lincoln was nowhere to be found. But then his scowl turned upward as he got an idea.
"Hey guys, here's where Lincoln lives." Boy Jordan told and the mob listened intently.
The back entrance of the elementary school opened slowly. Lincoln peaked his head and looked around, the coast was clear. He gripped the strap of his backpack and walked out of the school. He could hear the angry mob but it appeared to be distant.
He decided to head through the forest. To keep his mind off everything, he decided to think about ideas for his passion project. This forest, at night, while raining would make a great setting for the character modeled after Girl Jordan, a rogue Magistar. She would come across another Magistar that works for Clue, the dictator of Citro City. He knows his decision to make Clue the tyrant of Citro City instead of Count Impetus, a well known Tyrant in several Ace Savvy universes but Citro City was not Valriant, the country ruled by Count Impetus.
He's wondering how he should introduce Ace Savvy's love interest. He's been trying to draw a pretty girl but he kept drawing Cristina's face, much to his frustration.
He's also wondering how he should introduce Raigin, the blue monster dog that he would have Ace Savvy ride into battle. He had a pretty good idea how to introduce Bion Blade, a villain Lincoln created to be Ace's arch enemy in this comic.
It took awhile but he reached his neighborhood but just as he was a mile away from his house, he stopped. The angry mob had surrounded his house chanting, "LINCOLN LOUD IS A MENACE TO SOCIETY!"
"Of course Boy Jordan told them where I live." Lincoln grumbled.
Well, there's always his secret hideout. Lincoln turned around and bolted before the mob noticed him.
When he reached the next block, he texted his parents that he was staying over Clyde's house.
He walked a few blocks away before he noticed a purple van approaching. Lincoln reached into his pocket and cursed as he didn't bring his pistol paintball gun or his folding knife.
As the van got closer, he recognized it and was at ease.
The van stopped beside him, Carol was behind the wheel and rolled down the window.
"Hey, Lincoln are you- OH MY GOD!"
Carol opened the door and rushed at Lincoln. The preteen felt the teen cradle his head.
"What happened to your head!?"
"Oh, some jerk from an angry mob threw a rock at me. It's really no big deal."
"Not a big deal?! You're bleeding!"
"Seriously, I'm fine." Lincoln reassured.
Carol had heard of the mob crowding around the Loud's residence and decided Lincoln should avoid them. Especially, after seeing Lincoln's bandaged head.
"Why don't you come spend the night with us? We're having meatloaf tonight."
Lincoln would have declined but his stomach was growling, he did skip lunch after all.
Lily sat on the floor of the room playing with her teddy. Lori was watching over her though she looked around cautiously. The infant heard her oldest sister's stomach repeatedly growling. Lily didn't remember seeing her eat this morning or on their lunch break.
"Lincoln has a limit, you know."
Lily looked down at her teddy, who was giving the infant a disapproving look.
"What?" Lily asked.
"Lincoln has a limit." Teddy repeated. "A limit that you, your sisters, Mommy, and Daddy have constantly kept pushing."
"Yeah, but you saw that drawing Lincoln made. Not even my best drawing could compare to that." Lily stated, ignoring her stomach being twisted as she spoke. "Besides, everyone else was trying to keep Lincoln out of the movie too."
"And what are you going to do when you return home and Lincoln finds out you were in on it?" Teddy asked. "How many chances do you think Lincoln is going to keep giving you? The Sister Fight Protocol, the Bad Luck incident, you participated in all of those at his expense. And you ignored how miserable he was until he snapped."
"Well, yeah but-" Lily tried to say.
"You saw what he did to the other sisters and to mom and dad when he lost his temper, even in the ones you weren't involved in."
"I just wanted to be talented like my family."
"You are a baby, babies aren't supposed to be talented yet. Babies can barely walk." Teddy argued.
Luna stared at her infant sister in confusion as she was babbling to her teddy bear. She's seen Lily interact with it before but now like this. What's weirder was that Lily was looking more and more guilty.
"You heard what everyone said, my drawings are awful. I have to get good at something. All those trophies I have in the trophy case are lame compared to what my siblings have. And Lincoln doesn't even place his trophies there. He places them….actually I'm not sure where he places them. But you get the point."
Lily and her sisters have seen several images of Lincoln being awarded a trophy. Yet, his spot in the trophy case was still empty. Leni kept giving him the Most Improved Brother trophy but they kept disappearing.
"If you keep following the herd, you will be treated like the herd. Sure he may not harm you but he may never want anything to do with you again. Is losing your brother's love worth gaining a talent?" Teddy asked.
Lily was about to say that Lincoln would never hate her but then she started to wonder. Was the reason she remained unharmed in those instances because Lincoln loved her the most or was it because he didn't want to hurt a baby?
He didn't even acknowledge the fact that Lily had agreed that he should butt out and that he didn't understand the protocol. She had cried whenever Lincoln took off the suit and kept babbling that he was bad luck.
Strike one, would be the early stage of the Sister Fight Protocol. Strike two, would be the Bad Luck Incident. This would be strike three, keeping Lincoln out of the movie and not just any movie, an Ace Savvy movie. Ace Savvy was something none of the sisters cared about.
Oh gosh! She had to call Lincoln right now!
She tried to reach the counter that had a phone at the top but it was too tall for Lily to reach. She then approached her sister and reached up at her desperately. Luna smiled and picked her up, no sooner did she do this that she reached for Luna's phone.
"Oh, you want to play a game on my phone? Okay, here." Luna said, bringing up that game Lily always enjoyed.
Lily was smitten by her favorite game but shook her head and waddled back where her teddy was.
She had witnessed Lori using her phone to know what to do. Exiting out of the game, she went to the dial section.
Wait. What was Lincoln's number again? Lily tried to think but groaned in frustration, tempting to throw it in anger. She then remember an alternative option however. She went to contacts and saw a list of names.
She didn't pay attention when the door opened as she scrolled down until she found Lincoln's name.
Before Lily could press Lincoln's name, she was surrounded by pink.
She moved rapidly in confusion of her new surroundings before pulling the object off her and realized it was a pink blanket had been placed over her.
There was no feeling in her hands as the phone was gone. The infant looked around in confusion, wondering where the blanket came from and where the phone went as Luna wasn't holding it.
Lily held her stomach as she felt a disturbance.
"Carter, for the last time I'm fine." Lincoln chuckled as the infant stubbornly curled up next to him. It took forever to convince Mrs. Pingrey that he was alright, but Carter wouldn't budge.
But the baby wasn't hindering him as he played V-Zero, the futuristic racing video game. He sat with Conner and Carson as they clenched controllers as they played.
"Man, I'm glad Jintendo stopped ignoring this franchise." Carson said happily.
"Yes, we're glad that someone convinced Jintendo to pay more attention to their neglected titles. It's nice to know that Mr. Slide is the man of convincing, right Lincoln." Conner spoke with a sinister tone.
Lincoln ignored his comment and made his character drive to the side, avoiding a blue missile that hit Carson's character, knocking him out of first place. Lincoln smirked as he neared the finish line.
"Oh no you don't." Conner said as he pressed a button on his controller.
The character Conner played was covered in red energy as he bolted like a comet. Lincoln was low on his boost gauze and pressed the remainder of it as he moved to the side. He wasn't fast enough however as Conner rammed into him. Lincoln's character rolled sideways off the track and into a building, exploding on impact. Conner reached the finish line.
"Mwahahahaha!" Conner laughed evilly as he won. An orange Tabby kitten jumped into Conner's lap and he proceeded to pet the kitten's back while smirking at Lincoln.
"The Master Planner wins again."
Lincoln rolled his eyes at his rival.
"Dinner's ready!" Mrs. Pingrey called out from the kitchen. The three boys got off the couch, Lincoln picked up Carter and made their way to the kitchen. They were joined by Mr. Pingrey, Carol, and Carrie.
They all sat down at the table and began eating meatloaf and mashed potatoes.
"Mom, this meatloaf is great." Carson complimented.
"Yes, it almost makes me smile." Carrie said.
"Thanks, I really- Lincoln quit messing with it!"
Lincoln quickly removed his hand from the bandage on his head and quickly moved his hand to his fork.
"So how's it feel, having a fascist for a sister?" Conner asked.
"Conner!" Mr. Pingrey warned.
"Well she is." Conner stated. Lincoln didn't respond to Conner's question, as he continued eating.
Carrie placed voodoo dolls of Preston and Piper on the table before jamming her fork into their faces. Lincoln raised an eyebrow on how violent she jammed the fork. Carrie looked up at and stared at Lincoln with a blank, creepy face.
"The people of Stether must suffer."
"Not at the table, Carrie." Mrs. Pingrey ordered.
"Sigh." Carrie said as she placed the voodoo dolls away.
Lincoln finished first, much to Mrs. Pingrey's surprise. I got to go work on my com…homework." Lincoln said, wanting to keep his passion project a secret.
"Okay, try to get some rest today and don't pick at that bandage." Mrs. Pingrey said, giving the boy a stern look.
"I won't." Lincoln reassured, he left the kitchen and went upstairs to the guest room.
Carol took out her phone as soon as Lincoln left, contemplating if she should contact Lori to convince Lola to tell everyone what she said online was a lie. She had tried contacting Lori about the incident at the mall to reassure her but her calls were ignored.
She tried calling again and Lori didn't pick up.
"Carrie. I know you don't care much for Lucy. But do you know any of the Loud sisters' phone numbers?" Carol asked. Conner made it no secret that he disliked them, Carson tried to stay as far away from Lynn as possible, and she felt it was best not to have Lincoln interact with his sisters.
"No." Carrie said flatly.
In the restaurant of the luxurious hotel, the waitress left the kitchen with a cart full of food that was to serve the actors involved with the Rise for Power movie.
Lori suddenly rushed in front of the man with a nervous grin, much to the waitress's surprise.
"Sir, would you mind if I deliver the cart to our table." Lori said, keeping her nervous grin. "Please."
"Um…okay." The waitress said.
"Thanks!" Lori said as she grabbed the cart and rushed it toward their table.
Lori stopped the cart at the table. Okay, she ordered Chinese food that should arrive in an hour and a half. Now she just needed to dispose of the poisoned bowl. Tonight, Piper had ordered them all soup and their food were accompanied by name cards on cardholders.
Someone had been poisoning her and it was probably one of her siblings but she didn't know who. Lincoln was still in Royal Woods, Leni wasn't smart enough to pull this off, Lynn doesn't have the brain nor patience, Lucy would just try and fail to cast spells, and Lily was just a baby. Dominic, Rube, and Darly had no reason to poison her food as their characters were just as important to the movies as hers was.
She didn't even agree to the plan to keep Lincoln out of the movie until after it was brought up that he'll most likely take the spotlight away from everyone. Speaking of which, she decided to quickly look up several videos and images online displaying demeaning videos of Lincoln basically being portrayed as Satan. The Anti-Lincoln Group, which only had a few subscribers in the past, was getting more and more subscribers and people were now listening to Boy Jordan and his gang.
Ever since she and her sisters found out about Boy Jordan's grudge, they had wanted to do something about it but Lincoln had told them not to worry about them and said that they were just all talk.
It took weeks but Lincoln convinced them that they weren't a big deal. Now Lori wasn't gullible as the others. And judging by what those kids tried to do at the mall when Lincoln had left the night of the convention, Lori had wondered if Lincoln just thought that she and her sisters would make things worse. Heck, they were (well actually Lynn) was the reason that fat guy with the funny hat hated Lincoln's guts.
Lori then looked up her own name. Now Lori has had a history of being bullied online by Angel and her friends. Lincoln had told her to take a break from her account, Lori was just as stubborn as her siblings and went online anyway.
There were now memes of her online. Memes centered around her incident at the luxurious mall. She knew she should stop but couldn't stop looking at them.
One final image had her face pasted over a toilet, labeled 'High Card? More Like, High Toilet".
In her heat of anger, she slammed her fists on the cart. This caused the cardholders to topple over as the name cards had not been placed in too deep. Thus the name cards scattered on the cart.
"NO!" Lori yelled with horror. She hadn't paid attention to which bowl was hers. She immediately began searching through the name cards but couldn't remember where each went. Now she had no idea which bowl was to serve who. She had no idea which bowl was poisoned.
She looked at each bowl of soup, they all looked the same. She thought about doing taste tests for all of them but was scared that tasting even the little of the poisoned bowl would make her sick. Lori lifted each bowl to her face and sniffed at it, trying to smell something abnormal. She smelled each of them but they all smelled the same.
She then came up with the idea to just dump them all in the trash. There was the risk of Lana being poisoned but she's been literally eating things out of the garbage, despite having to go to the hospital. There's also the possibility that Lana had been poisoning her, she was bound to pick up some things that could make people sick.
"Well done, Lori." Maisie said.
Lori turned around to find the producers, the directors, her sisters, and the other actors for the movie approaching her.
"A good teenage girl lends a helping hand." Maisie said with a smile.
"Uh, yeah." Lori said, screaming inside her head as she now had to serve all the bowls or she would look suspicious to the producer. She didn't know how the producer or directors would react to her throwing accusations that someone was poisoning her.
She nervously placed each bowl on the table and joined the rest as they sat down. There were 16 bowls. What were the odds that te one in front ofer was poisoned?
"Now let's eat." Preston said.
Lori didn't dare touch her bowl, opting to observe the others instead. She watched as Dominic took a spoonful of his soup. He didn't appear to look sick. Rube seemed to be eating without any issue. Darly ate with a bored look. Leni was eating her soup without any issue. Lana was eating their soup nonchalantly. Luan was eating but kept facing the direction of Maisie with a nervous look, like she wanted to say something badly. This to Lori, made her comedian sister a likely candidate for the one who poisoned her. Heck, she complimented Darly for the mean joke about toilet paper to get in her good graces. Lori and her sisters had noticed that the security guards were very warm toward Darly.
Luna had not been eating, leaning her cheek on her palm with her elbow on the table. Was that a mask, Lori wondered. Did Luna suspect that Lori botched the name cards and that one of the soups was poisoned? Luna then began eating her soup, she showed no signs of being sick. Lynn had been glaring at her while hamming her spoon in her mouth aggressively. But she had no signs of being sick.
Lori was starting to get worried. Lucy was eating her soup, her black hair covered her eyes which prevented Lori from seeing any discomfort.
Lola ate her soup without any issues. 'Oh come on!', Lori cursed.
Next to Lincoln, Lisa had been the most likely candidate to be the culprit. Lori saw how she ate her soup with a jaded expression. Lori knew Lisa was a genius but she would hardly call Lisa the smartest kid due to how many explosions she created in her house (and at school for that matter). Lisa showed no signs of being sick.
That only left Lori with her own bowl and Lily's bowl. Lily just sat in her seat with a dejected expression, not touching her bowl.
Lori panicked, she didn't want her baby sister to eat the poisoned soup. She stood up.
"Where are you going!?" Maisie demanded.
"Um, I got to go…change Lily." Lori lied.
"Well, do it after dinner." Maisie ordered.
"I think I should do it now, it probably won't take too long." Lori said, hoping Maisie would just let her leave with Lily.
"You can do it after you finish this wonderful meal." Maisie said with a frown.
"Um, actually, it's past Lily's bedtime and…" Lori said as she headed in Lily's direction, but Maisie cut her off.
"Rube." Maisie ordered.
Lori found her wrist wrapped in threads. The threads dug into her skin, causing pain.
"Ow!" Lori cried.
Lori looked up to see the threads coming from Rube, who flexed them in her fingers. Rube was giving her a hardened look. Rube flicked her wrist, and Lori was forced back into her chair. The threads slid off Lori's wrist, leaving a mark that Lori rubbed while wincing.
Lily sighed sadly and took spoonful of her soup with her baby spoon. She appeared to be fine. The oldest sister sighed with relief but that meant that she had the poisoned soup.
"Um, I'm not hungry." Lori said fearfully, standing up.
"Sit down!" Piper demanded. "Good children eat food that is presented to them!"
"I'm feeling sick." Lori somewhat lied. She was feeling better, but she wasn't a hundred percent better.
"It's fine for someone in your condition. Now eat!" Preston growled.
"I have to use the bathroom." Lori lied, panicking.
"Your bowel problems are acceptable with us, so finish eating." Maisie said.
"Um, um, um!" Lori tried to think of something. She didn't know how they would react if she told them that there was a possibility that her bowl had been poisoned.
"Eat. Your. Soup." Maisie demanded.
Lori looked down at her bowl and spoke. "Uh…okay." Lori said. Everyone at the table was staring at her. She gathered the soup in her spoon and lifted it up to her mouth.
Lori darted her eyes, trying to desperately think of something. She did not want a repeat of what happened at that mall.
"Um, guys?"
Everyone who turned to Luan. Seeing all eyes were off her, Lori quickly dumped her bowl under her chair and placed the now empty bowl back on the table before anyone noticed.
"Can I ask you something about the movie?" Luan asked.
"Look, I know Lori's acting ability is not as good as we hoped but we are bringing in an acting coach so she could be the perfect role model for children." Maisie stated.
"Actually, it's not that. It's about the movie's…story."
"What do you mean?" Maisie asked as she, Preston, and Piper scowled.
"Well, it's just that most scenes make no sense, the love between High Card and Count Impetus is confusing, the dialogue is awful, Count Impetus backstory makes him look like he's a big baby, the jokes are a bit mean-spirited, Lori's character, High Card, is cringy, and Rube Earn's character, Saver, isn't very…likable. Especially in the beginning where she tortures-"
"ENOUGH!" Maisie slammed her hands on the table and stood up. The sisters were taken back by her outburst. Darly smirked in Luan's direction. Dominic and Rube just continued eating, paying little attention to what was going on. Everyone in the restaurant stared at their table. Maisie's enraged expression calmed as she sat back down and spoke in a calm tone. "The movie is good and doesn't need any alterations. You shouldn't criticize Preston and Piper's wonderful script and Saver is a very complex character that everyone should be inspired to be like."
"O-Okay." Luan said hesitantly, not wanting to anger Maisie anymore.
Lily kept taking spoonful of her soup and suddenly stopped and dropped her spoon.
She was no longer in the restaurant inside the hotel. She was now at home in her kitchen. Everyone had vanished. On the opposite side of her was Lincoln.
"Hello, Lily." Lincoln said happily.
"WINCOLN!" Lily cried happily. She got up from her seat and ran across the table to leap into her brother's opened arms.
Lily wanted to tell her brother that she didn't mean to hurt his feelings and that he was sorry. Her brother held her out and stared at her with a smile.
But then, Lincoln's smile dimmed. Lily was confused as Lincoln's look turned emotionless.
"Oh, you betrayed me too. You purposely kept me out of the Ace Savvy movie." Lincoln said.
Lily froze.
"I don't love you anymoooooorrrrreeeee." There was something not right with the way Lincoln said that.
He dropped Lily on the floor, the infant landed on her bottom and stared up at her only brother with a look of heartbroke.
They were now in the living room. Lincoln opened the front door, outside was a blinding light. While facing Lily, Lincoln was levitated into the air and dragged into the blinding light.
Lily was horrified. Lincoln was leaving her forever.
"Byeeeee, traitorrrrrrr." Lincoln said with a blank expression.
"LINCOLN, WAIT!" Lily tried to crawl after him with tears running down her face.
The front door slammed shut.
An eruption of stinky green cloud of gas filled the entire restaurant. It was full of coughing, complaints of disgust, and collapsing people.
Rain pelted the forest at nighttime as two Citro Troopers dragged a child by her arms. The child was in a white and purple suit that had a white hoodie over her head. Her head was down as she was unconscious, and her legs dragged across the ground as she was carried.
The Citro Troopers held up lanterns with their free hands to navigate through the darkness. They reached their young commander, Chloe.
Chloe's brown hair was in the form of a side shave cut. She wore a silver and pink suit with a magic symbol that stretched through the sleeves.
Chloe bent down and smirked at the girl.
The white hooded girl looked up, she had the face of Girl Jordan and had a white mask that covered the lower half of her face. Her eyes were wide and terrified.
"You must be Mary Mage." Chloe said with a smile. "Have her join the ones in the tree."
Girl Jordan looked up and saw bodies being hanged by wires in the trees. Her hands glowed purple as she tried to desperately use her magic.
Chloe immediately turned around and swung out her pink laser whip. The laser whip wrapped around Girl Jordan's waste as she was electrocuted.
"AAAAAAHHH!" Girl Jordan screamed as electricity coursed through her body. The Citro Troopers dropped her arms and walked away with their guns trained on her.
Chloe smirked and brought her whip back and swung it at Girl Jordan's cheek. Girl Jordan fell to her side in pain. The Citro Troopers were on her, one held her hands behind her back and placed glowing green cuffs on them. The other grabbed a wire and wrapped it around Girl Jordan's neck.
She immediately found herself lifted by her neck, her feet dangling in the air.
Girl Jordan choked as the wire strangled her.
Chloe grinned sadistically and approached the struggling girl who was finding it difficult to breathe.
Just then Lincoln ran out of the hedge and froze. Chloe and the Citro Troopers stared at him.
"Um…" Lincoln wasn't sure how to respond. He quickly gained his senses and threw energy guards at the two troopers. They exploded and sent the dead guards flying. Ignoring Girl Jordan, Chloe took out her laser whip and lashed it at Lincoln, who ducked under it.
The whip wrapped around his arm, Chloe grinned.
"WHOOOAAA!" Lincoln screamed as he was slammed by his arm into a tree trunk. The whip then wrapped around his waist, electrocuting him.
"AAAAAAHHH!" Lincoln screamed in pain.
"Clue's gonna be a very happy man." Chloe smirked. She then screamed as she was blasted by a red beam from behind.
This released Lincoln, who lunged for her. Lincoln punched Chloe in the face repeatedly. Chloe growled and kicked Lincoln off of her.
Colin then noticed the choking Girl Jordan and rushed toward her with his energy arm blade. He immediately cut the wires, allowing Girl Jordan to drop to the ground. Girl Jordan held her neck, ripped off the wires that choked her and sucked in as much air as she could. She stared at her savior with a look of distrust, before standing up.
Her hands glowed purple as she saw Lincoln dodging Chloe's laser whip attacks
Girl Jordan stretched out her arms and fired a ray of purple magic aura at Chloe, who screamed in pain and crashed into a tree. As soon as Chloe slid down, she immediately rolled out of the way of an energy card. She glared at her three opponents with an enraged scowl.
Her wrist started beeping, Chloe looked at it in confusion then she looked at her three opponents with a smirk.
"Since all three of you are enemies of Citro City, I'll let him take care of you all." Chloe said before leaping into the trees and out of sight.
Lincoln threw energy cards into the trees, but Chloe had already disappeared.
Then Lincoln turned toward Girl Jordan who stare back, both had looks of distrust.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
Lincoln's eyes widen in horror as he turned to the side.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
Colin stood beside Lincoln with a scared expression.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
Girl Jordan faced the direction of the footsteps, her hands glowing purple.
Then it was complete silence. Nothing but the rain pelting the ground. Then something glowed blue, then something else glowed blue. A whole line of dorsal plates started glowing, they kept getting bigger and coming closer. Their light showed reptilian skin. They made whirring sounds.
Lincoln gagged as he felt the horrid breath of something hitting him. He readied an energy card in his hand as he saw glowing blue eyes emerge from the darkness. They glared at him as the whirring sound could be heard.
The white haired preteen grabbed Colin and jumped out of the way. Girl Jordan leaped to the other side, narrowly avoiding Godzilla's heat ray, which scorched the ground.
SSSKKKRRREEEOOONNNKKK!
Lincoln threw Colin to the side as he rolled out of the way to avoid Godzilla's mighty claws that scraped the ground.
The scrape did cause Lincoln to stumble but he quickly recovered as a big shadow encased him. He leaped forward avoiding Godzilla's snapping fangs, who caught pieces of the ground instead. Godzilla turned in the boy's direction with the dirt in his mouth before spitting it out and growling.
"Wild Dice, let's go!" Lincoln said, taking out a flashlight.
"Right!" Colin stated as they both ran through the dark forest with Lincoln using the flashlight to navigate. Girl Jordan looked up at the Kaiju then at the retreating brothers then back at Godzilla again before running off after the two boys.
Godzilla's eyes trailed on to Lincoln's retreating form before dropping to all fours and charging. He knocked over trees and kicked up the ground as he charged.
Lincoln and Colin leaped over a log; Colin stumbled but Lincoln grabbed him by his shoulder to prevent him from falling.
The older brother noticed Girl Jordan running after them but decided to continue running.
Hearing footsteps, Lincoln shined the flashlight to the left to reveal Citro Troopers aiming their laser rifles.
Lincoln threw his energy cards while running. He heard Godzilla's massive footsteps coming. The three kids saw Citro Troopers ahead, but they ran away to avoid Godzilla.
Godzilla's tail lashed out, sending large chunks of rocks at them. Girl Jordan raised her glowing hands and created a purple force field. She winced as the large rocks hit the shield before dispersing the shield.
A whirring sound was heard.
"WHOA!" All three of them yelped as they slid down a slope, evading Godzilla's atomic breath by the skin of their teeth.
Colin slid on to his back while the older kids managed to stay on their feet. They saw that they were at the edge of the city.
SSSKKKRRREEEOOONNNKKK!
They turned to see Godzilla at the top of the slope, looking around as he lost sight of his target.
"This way!" Lincoln yelled as they ran through the city.
As they ran deeper through the wasteland, they came across a four way street.
Lincoln then realized that he didn't know where they were. This part of the abandoned city looked unfamiliar to him. He nervously shined his light in both paths to determine where the giant wall was.
"Where do we go now?" Colin asked, scared.
"I-I think it's this way!" Lincoln said, running in the direction on the left.
"You think?!" Girl Jordan said, annoyed as she followed the two brothers.
"You know, you don't have to follow us!" Lincoln challenged.
Before Girl Jordan could retort they heard Godzilla's roaring in the background along with his booming steps. Girl Jordan rolled her eyes, but she continued running in the direction they were in.
Godzilla sniffed the air, then turned in the direction where they entered the city. He fired his atomic breath from his mouth, but he was too late as they were gone. The Kaiju growled in frustration and charged into the city, waving his tail which crashed into buildings.
Girl Jordan raised her hands and made an abandoned car glow purple before hurling it at Godzilla. The giant reptile didn't react at all to the vehicle hitting his snout and continued charging them.
Godzilla inhaled with his dorsal plates glowing. He was taking a long time to charge which horrified Lincoln. He pointed to the stairs that lead underground.
"In there!" Lincoln yelled. The two didn't argue with him as they ran after him.
Godzilla fired one particularly massive atomic breath. The three kids entered the tunnel entrance and the atomic breath made contact, creating a large boom and kicking up clouds of dust. Once the smoke dispersed, Godzilla stomped to the tunnel his target entered. Godzilla had created a large hole, but his target was nowhere to be found.
Golden eyes narrowed as he looked around. He then went on all fours again, crawling while sniffing the ground like a predator would smell a prey.
In another part of the area, Lincoln jumped out of a hole. He was followed by Girl Jordan and Colin.
"I think we lost him." Girl Jordan said with relief before demanding. "Why was Godzilla chasing us anyway!?"
Lincoln stopped for a moment. "I'm…not sure."
The Magistar girl narrowed her eyes at him in suspicion.
"Look, it's the big wall!" Colin said excitedly pointing at the great wall that surrounded Citro City.
"Great, let's just enter through the- Wait, where's the vent?" Lincoln asked, alarmed that there was no vent they could crawl through and enter the city.
"Okay, don't panic! Don't panic!" Lincoln said to himself. He took out his grapple gun and fired it at the top of the wall. But it didn't reach the top. Lincoln then realized that the city was lower compared to the other sections outside the wall.
"Oh, come on!" Lincoln complained as the hook returned to the grapple gun.
SSSKKKRRREEEOOONNNKKK!
The three kids turned around to see that Godzilla had found them as he was still on all fours with his teeth bared with drool dripping from them. Godzilla charged, kicking up large dirt as he approached them.
"Quick, make a shield!" Lincoln demanded.
"It won't work! Godzilla's too strong!" Girl Jordan said, fearing for his life.
"Then teleport us away!" Lincoln said in a desperate tone.
"I don't know how do that!" Girl Jordan said, scared.
"How can you not know how do that!? You're a Magistar!" Lincoln demanded.
"I can't perform those types of spells! I was born in the-" Girl Jordan said.
"Wait, over here!" Colin announced.
Lincoln and Girl Jordan followed Colin as he bent down and saw a sizable gap between the bottom of the great wall and the ground. The gap was big enough for them to crawl through.
Colin than ran through the door, scratching his itchy head as he entered. Girl Jordan ran after him. Lincoln turned back to Godzilla, who was getting closer, before entering. Godzilla's snout pushed through, hitting Lincoln's back and causing him to crash into the ground.
Godzilla tried to push his head further in to get at Lincoln but he was too big. Godzilla biting ferociously in the air as he still couldn't get the preteen. Lincoln got up while groaning and turned and turned around to face the reptilian Kaiju.
Godzilla growled and snapped his fangs, sending speckles of saliva on to the front of Lincoln.
"Gross…" Lincoln groaned, trying to wipe the sticky saliva off of him. Godzilla only growled before finally giving up. It took some time but Godzilla managed to pull his head out and roar.
SSSKKKRRREEEOOONNNKKK!
They all heard Godzilla stomping away as his booming footsteps faded.
They managed to crawl out to the other side and into Citro City.
Lincoln held Colin's hand as he addressed Girl Jordan. "Alright, this is where we separate."
"Okay," Girl Jordan said, walking to the right as the two brothers walked to the left.
Later, Girl Jordan then entered an alleyway and changed into her civilian clothes
Her light brown hair was short like a boys and had a blue streak. She placed her white and purple suit in a bag and exited the sidewalk. She made her way to her apartment building, being sure to not look at the Citro Troopers.
She passed a glance at the large screen on the building that showed a man dark brown hair with an orange and silver suit, Clue.
Lincoln smiled as he finished up his issue. Today was awful but he was getting his project done. He designed Clue after the actor who played him in The Amazing Ace Savvy movie. The movie was okay in his book but he preferred the Golden Age Trilogy. Clue was honestly the best part of that movie, along with Ace and his love interest of that version, Trina. He would wait to copy his issues tomorrow after school, if he wasn't being followed and if that mob went away.
The blond teen sighed happily as he walked down the street at night time. "Business is going well: kids are laughing, parents are paying me, Fanny's Prank Emporium is making me their poster boy, and last but not least," the blond swirled around before stopping sharply, "no Luan!"
He sat at the bus stop and waited for the bus to take him home. He started counting all the money he was receiving. Man, this was the life if only Luan could stay in Hollywood forever.
He suddenly looked up and noticed Claira from high school approaching. Now Claira has a reputation among the high schoolers and most did their best to stay out of her and her friends' way.
He almost jolted when Claira sat on the other side of the bench.
"T-things have b-been nicer with most of the L-Louds gone huh?" Kyle said nervously.
"Yes, much nicer without that idiot's annoying voice." Claira said. "Try to make the most of it as they're going to come back eventually."
"You can say that again." Kyle chuckled, beginning to relax. Then he looked at the sky and noticed a shooting star.
"Hey, well what do you know?" Kyle said, pointing at it.
"Lucky you, you get to make a wish." Claira joked.
"I doubt those actually make wishes come true, plus I don't even know what to wish for." Kyle said.
There was silence for a few seconds before Claira said. "You know what I wish for?"
"What?" Kyle asked.
"For the Louds to disappear." Claira answered.
"Yes, that would be nice. Who knows, maybe they'll stay in Hollywood forever." Kyle said with a smile.
AN: Anyway, criticism is appreciated but please no flames. Also, please don't start flames with each other in the review section.
AN: And trust me, the mob situation gets worst next chapter.
EDIT: Weird, I thought I fixed the misspellings days ago but I still found them when rechecking this chapter.
