Enjoy chapter two.

JoJo and I arrive at the gym and make our way to the treadmills. "What's it like being away from home for the first time?" I ask her.

"It's intimidating but I love it. I miss home but my parents are so supportive." JoJo responds. "What about you it must have been challenging for you?"

"It was tough." I confirm. "Leaving home at 16, having to work full time, having no proper education and a drunk mother wasn't fun."

"You should be proud of yourself, not a lot of people get through things like you have." she praises.

After a while JoJo taps my shoulder. "Isn't that The Funkadactles?" She points out.

"It is." I say looking up. "Do you want to meet them?" I suggest and she nods. We make our way over. "Hey, sorry to interrupt, but I'm Serena, and this is JoJo we just wanted to introduce ourselves."

"We've heard about you, it's nice to meet you." Ariane greets. "Are you enjoying yourselves?"

"Immensely." JoJo answers.

"You said your name was Serena?" Trinity asks me.

"Yes."

"You just got the called up?" Ariane asks.

"I did." I confirm. "I'm very excited."

"So where are you two from?"

"I'm from Seattle, but I'm currently living in Tampa." I reply.

"I'm from LA." JoJo answers to.

"How long have you two been training for?" Trinity asks.

"I started when I was 16." I answer.

"And I only started training a few months ago." JoJo answers.

"How old are you?" Ariane asks curiously.

"I just turned 24."

"So you left home at a young age?" Trinity asks.

"I did."

"You're in a match at Wrestlemania, are you excited?" JoJo asks them.

"Beyond, but nervous too, and who knows, play your cards right, next year it could be you." Trinity advises.

"That's the plan. But I'm in no rush. I just want to train hard and have fun, I'm just happy to finally be here."

"It looks like you've done your homework." Ariane jokes.

I laugh. "Gotta to know my competition right?"

"Sure do." Trinity laughs.

"We better get back to our workout, it was lovely meeting you two and I can't wait to work with you."

"You too and nice meeting you JoJo."

After a busy day we head back to the hotel to get ready for our first work function with WWE. Tonight I'm wearing a black and white bandage dress with black heels.

"Well I think we look hot." I declare checking myself out in the mirror.

'I agree, we do." Eva agrees.

I get an alert that our car is out the front. "Our car is here."

"Are you both ready?" JoJo asks Eva and I excitedly.

"Let's go to our first WWE party." I smirk and we leave.

We arrive and find many Superstars and Divas and a couple celebrities talking amongst themselves. "It just got real." I whisper.

"It certainly has." Eva and JoJo agree.

Nattie approaches us. "Hi ladies." She greets.

"Wow, Nattie you look beautiful." I compliment hugging her.

"As do you, are you all having a good night?"

"An amazing night." We say in unison.

"Want some champagne?" Nattie asks taking a couple glasses from a waiter.

"Please."

"No thank you." Eva and JoJo both decline.

"Well I'll have it then." Nattie jokes and we all laugh. Nattie turns to face me. "Hey Serena, mind if I borrow you for a sec?"

"Lead the way."

We walk into the crowd and I notice we are walking up to a group of guys and I instantly recognise them, it's The Shield. "Gentleman, I want to introduce you to our newest diva, Serena." Nattie greets introducing me.

"Hi." They all wave.

I step forward. "Hi." I greet waving.

"Joe." the big Samoan introduces first.

I shake his hand. "It's lovely to meet you."

"Jon." The shaggy blonde greets.

"Now you are familiar, you're Jon Moxley."

He laughs. "How on earth would you know that?"

"I wrestled at CZW your face was around the place."

"You were at CZW?" Nattie questions.

I nod. "Yeah, it was tough, but I learn't a lot."

"I might just have to watch some of your matches then." Jon comments.

I then turn to the last guy and my mind starts racing, OMG he's hot! Jesus, I knew I would be working with some good looking guys. "I'm so sorry, I totally just went off topic." I apologise.

He chuckles. "It's fine. I'm Colby." He greets.

"We've also heard some stuff about you." Joe mentions.

My head pops up. "Really?"

"Yeah, we heard you're good." Colby speaks up.

"Well thanks, I guess."

"How long have you been wrestling for?" Jon asks.

"Since I was 16."

"How old are you?" Joe asks.

"24." I respond sipping my drink.

"So a while then." Colby comments.

"Yes. I started when I was 16 and once I turned 18 I moved to Tampa and started on the indies." I respond. "I just wanted to learn and train as much as I could."

"From what we've heard, is that you're good, so no doubt you will make an impact." Joe predicts.

"Well thank you, but I'm not rushing into it. I still think this is a dream and I'm about to wake up."

"Well wake up and enjoy it." Colby advises.

After a while of talking with the guys I look over my shoulder and see Nicole and Brie handing Eva and JoJo their empty glasses. "If you would excuse me I better get going, it was really great meeting you all, I look forward to seeing you all again." I say excusing myself politely before glancing at Colby and leave. I make my way over to Brie and Nicole. "Hi." I greet.

"Hey, are you having a good night?" Brie asks.

I nod. "I am."

"It looks like Nattie is showing you the ropes." Nicole mentions.

"She is, I still can't believe I'm here right now."

"Well believe it." Brie smiles.

"We heard that you've been training for a while." Nicole addresses.

"That's correct, since I was 16." I confirm. "I've worked my butt off and now I'm living my dream and I can't wait to see what happens next, it's just surreal."

"Wake up and enjoy it," Brie advises.

A little while later Eva and JoJo rejoin us. "Here you go." Eva says handing them their glasses.

"Thank you." they thank grinning.

"Serena we got you one too." JoJo adds handing me a glass.

I smile and skull the rest of the one in my hand and Brie and Nicole laugh. "Perfect, I just finished this one." I joke.

"Hey, Serena, come with me for a sec." Nicole says pulling me into the crowd. "Listen, I like you, you're different to the other newbies, you respect us, and you know your place, that's good around here."

"Thanks. I just know how to act around people and I know I'll get my chance soon enough."

"I want to introduce you to my boyfriend." she mentions and we walk towards John Cena and a small group of people he's talking to.

I gasp. "No way!"

She grins. "Yes way."

"You lucky bitch."

"John?" she calls out tapping his shoulder. "I want you to meet Serena, she's one of our new divas and she's just got called up."

"Hi Serena, it's nice to meet you. I've heard a lot of great stuff about you." he greets shaking my hand.

"Really?"

"Yes. From what I've heard you have great potential."

"Thank you that means a lot." I thank.

"Well I need more champagne I'll see you later." Nicole says kissing him and she pulls me over to the bar.

"You two are so cute together." I express.

"I know."

We rejoin Brie and I notice Eva or JoJo aren't around. "Where did Eva and JoJo go?" I ask.

"JoJo had a headache so they left." Brie answers.

"They left me here, wow." I say a little upset but I quickly shake it off.

Nattie comes up behind me. "So this is who kidnapped you." She jokes.

I pout. "It was awful."

"You truly are something special Miss Smith, I think you are going to fit in just fine."

"I'm glad you think that, I'm just so excited to be here."

"Excuse me ladies do you want a photo?" a photographer asks.

"Sure." Brie answers and I go to walk away but Nicole pulls me back in.

Around 2am Nicole and Brie drop me back at the hotel. "Thank you for dropping me off." I thank.

"No worries, we had a blast." Nicole responds.

I smile. "Same."

"We are hitting the gym tomorrow morning, would you like to join us?" Brie asks.

"Of course, what time?"

"7." Nicole answers.

"You're evil." I groan.

They both laugh. "Suck it up." Brie teases.

"Looks like I'm going to need a coffee or ten."

"Don't worry we will be right there with ya." Nicole laughs.
