Chapter 12: Dealing with the Deranged Pt. 2

So this chapter will be a lot longer than chapters for this story that I've done in the past, but I hope it is all worth it.

Enjoy!

Having found out that Dagur and Heather weren't actually evil but were instead controlled by inhibitor chips that were attached to their Morphers, and with Dagur's chip still on his, the Rangers and Heather follow a path along the island that they ended up accidentally teleporting to during a fight against the Berserk Rangers.

While walking along the island, with Heather in the front followed by Astrid, Snotlout and Fishlegs, all of which were not wearing their Power Ranger suits, Snotlout points out in a whisper to Astrid and Fishlegs, "Well, this is how I wanted to spend my weekend, wandering around a deserted island looking for a guy who wants to kill me!"

Fishlegs then points out, "I'm with Snotlout here, Astrid. Should we even be here? We know Dagur is just going to attack us once we find him, or he finds us."

Astrid glances back and reminds them, "It's not Dagur's fault, it's that chip that's on his Morpher. Besides, have you forgotten our Ranger code? We never leave behind a fellow Ranger in need."

Snotlout comments, "Any chance we could rewrite that code?"

Pretending like she hasn't heard the conversation, Heather calls out, "Dagur? DAGUR? Oh, where could he be?"

Astrid then asks, "Look, Heather, even if we find Dagur then what's the plan? How do we take him down?"

Heather glances back and states, "We don't need to take him down, we just need to destroy his inhibitor chip!"

Astrid raises a brow to that. "Ok, how do you plan on destroying Dagur's chip without taking him down."

Heather glances down in quick thought. "I…haven't thought that far ahead, but my point still stands. Besides, I can't leave him behind, not after all that he's done for me!"

Astrid glances back to Snotlout and Fishlegs who both give her worrying looks before she replies with, "It's just that…I'm not sure if we should even be involved in this."

Heather could see the hesitance in the Ranger's eyes, so she turns to them and asks, "Maybe if I told you guys about mine and Dagur's past, it would get you to understand."

The Rangers give her an expectant look. "Well…your past isn't going to tell itself." Astrid states.

Heather then takes a deep breath. "Alright, here it goes. Since we were kids, Dagur has always been there for me, to protect me. I was smaller than most of the other kids in my elementary school and somewhat nerdy, so obviously that made me a big target for bullying. However, any time any kid would try to pick on me, Dagur would always step in. He'd never get physical, not unless a kid gets physical first which was quite rare, but with his build he made sure to let everyone know to back off of me.

I always knew I could count on him, in fact Dagur purposefully got himself held back a year just so he could continue to protect me throughout 5th Grade, it was one of the sweetest things anyone had ever done for me."

Heather's face then drops. "Then came the day that changed everything, for both of us. I distinctly remember how it all went down. It was in the 9th Grade, I was 15 at the time and Dagur was 16, we get a knock on the door and it turns out to be a cop. He was there to inform us that…*sniff*…that our parents were involved in a fatal car crash!" Tears begin rolling down her face.

Astrid, Snotlout and Fishlegs's faces all dropped with shock and concern. "Oh…" Astrid starts.

"…My…" Snotlout adds.

"…God." Fishlegs adds. "We…we're so sorry."

Heather uses her silver-colored jacket to wipe her tears before saying, "It's alright. Anyway, it was on that day that Dagur knew he had to do something, and what he did was something that I don't think anyone else could. We don't have any other family, so Dagur took it upon himself to continue to protect me. Since he was still underage at the time, he had to fight many legal battles, but in the end he was granted full custody of me as my legal guardian. I could never repay him for something like that. He still goes to school, but also has, or had, a part-time job to help us live."

Hearing all this, Astrid and the boys were at a loss for words, was so hard to believe that the very man that they had been fighting could've been so kind-hearted. Hoping to pivot away from the harsh memories that must be going through Heather's mind, Astrid asks, "So, how did your Drago Scales end up getting into this?"

Heather sniffs a bit more and says, "Well, it was soon after Dagur and I met you guys, we were walking home from school one day, we take a route that puts us through the forest area near school, when suddenly we were attacked by what we now know are the Scale Shedders. We didn't have our Drago Scales at the time, so we couldn't really put up a fight, even if we wanted to. Dagur did try to save me, but there were simply too many Shedders to take on at once.

They took us to their lair where we met Vidger and he told us that apparently he sees great potential in us, so he presented us with the silver and violet Drago Scales, and basically gave us the option to either join him or get destroyed. I could see that Dagur wanted to take all of these guys out and ask questions later, but he also knew that I could end up getting hurt even worse if he tried so, so we agreed to join Vidger.

The scales in the Drago Morphers that Vidger gave us went right to us as if they knew exactly who we were and right away we both felt this surge of power flowing through us. We were then brainwashed into thinking that you guys are the enemy and that we should take you out, and I think you all know the rest.

This is why I need to find Dagur. He's protected me on so many occasions that I can't even count them anymore, so now it's time for me to protect him."

Astrid, Snotlout and Fishlegs stand there in total silence as they realize why they need to help Heather find Dagur, silence that was broken by Hiccup's voice appearing through Snotlout's Morpher. "Great story, really. Almost brought a tear to my eye."

Snotlout picks up his red Morpher as Astrid asks, "Hiccup? Is that you?"

Hiccup replies, "Were you expecting someone else?"

Astrid asks, "But, wait, Dagur crushed my communicator, how are you speaking to us now."

Hiccup replies with a shrug, "Simple, I called Snotlout through his Morpher. I mean, did you really think that you were the only one with a communicator on your Morpher?"

Astrid blinks to that. "Yeah, I guess that wasn't one of my brightest moments."

Fishlegs then asks, "How long were you listening in?"

Hiccup replies, "Long enough to know that Heather is with us now and Dagur still has an inhibitor chip on his Morpher that's controlling his thoughts. But guys, there is something we need to tell you."

Alicia then adds, "We found the island that you're in, it seems to be some island not too far into the North Pacific, and we have some troubling news. Just before you all arrived, we detected a great deal of seismic activity on the island."

This was immediately followed by a small, short earthquake right where the Rangers were standing. "You're telling us!" Snotlout comments.

Hiccup then adds, "We don't know why, but it seems that the island you're on has an incredibly weak ground underneath, so weak that the island is very close to sinking right into the ocean!"

Snotlout then comments to himself, "On a sinking island when I could be at home playing video games. Why did I even become a Ranger?"

Astrid lightly smacks Snotlout in the arm, which Hiccup heard, and replies with, "Thank you, Astrid. Anyway, we need to figure out a way to get you off that island as soon as possible."

Heather then suggests, "Well, what about the Drago Zords? Couldn't they fly us out of here?"

Alicia comments, "A brilliant idea, Heather!"

Hiccup comments, "I'll send them, though your signal is quite weak so you won't be able to call them like you normally would. I'll need to manually give them your coordinates, though they should be by to pick you up within minutes."

Heather then grabs Snotlout's Morpher. "Wait, not without Dagur."

Astrid comments, "Heather, we-"

"No, listen! I get that we're on a sinking island, but that doesn't mean I'm just going to leave Dagur behind! I know that the real Dagur is there, he just needs me to help bring him back out. Please!" Astrid was still looking quite unsure, so Heather crosses her arms and reminds her, "Isn't it Ranger Code to never leave behind a fellow Ranger in need?"

Recalling her comment from earlier, Astrid asks into the communicator, "Hiccup, how long do we have before the rock we're standing on meets the ocean?"

Hiccup replies, "At the rate it's going, you'll probably want to get out of there within the next hour."

Astrid nods. "Then that's how long we have to find Dagur and get him back."

Heather smiles wide. "Thank you, seriously."

Hiccup sighs. "I guess I don't have much choice here. Alright, I'll let you do this, but do understand this, Heather. Dagur or not, we are getting you guys off that island."

Heather replies, "If we can't get him back now, then we'll try again a different time."

Hiccup nods. "Alright, if anything else comes up then I'll give you a call. Good luck, Rangers…and Heather." With that, Hiccup ends the call. The four of them then continue to walk down the path in front of them.

Standing on top of a hill somewhere in the middle of the island stood Dagur who still had on his violet, triple tailed Power Ranger suit. He was waiting to see if Heather was going to come back to him, but that's when a familiar voice pops up. "Well, isn't this a surprise?" He looks and sees Vidger, the devious Scale Shedder leader, along with a small army of Shedders and a blue Scale Crusher that was covered in black spikes.

Seeing his leader, Dagur asks, "What are you doing here, Vidger?"

Vidger replies, "I came here on an important mission, one that does not concern you…yet. Wait, where is the other one?"

Dagur replies, "We were battling the Rangers when she suddenly decided that the fight was unnecessary, and that they could be…friends. I fear that her inhibitor chip may have been destroyed during the fight."

Vidger clenches his fist in rage. "And is she with the Rangers now?"

Dagur replies, "I did what I had to. She was too weak to be amongst us anyway, we both know that."

In a fit of rage, Vidger throws a fist to Dagur's shoulder so fast that Dagur didn't even realize what was going on. "You daft fool. Without that chip, do you know how easily she could be swayed to join the Rangers?"

Rubbing his sore shoulder, Dagur replies, "With how weak she is, she's better off with them."

Vidger thinks for a moment before replying, "I suppose it can't be helped now. Since Lord Grisly is gone, I have no way to make more chips at the moment. *sigh* I am left with no choice. Here is your next mission, find the Razor Ranger and destroy her."

Dagur gives Vidger a salute. "As you wish, sir." With that, they all walk down the hill they were standing on with intentions of finding the Rangers.

Meanwhile, said Rangers were continuing down the natural path along the island, dealing with a few tremors along the way, when they eventually come across a fork in the road that divides the path into two that seem to loop around a big hill. Astrid suggests, "Alright, let's split up from here. Heather and I will take the right, Fishlegs and Snotlout go to the left."

Snotlout complains, "Aw, why do I have to be with Fishface?"

Heather then asks, "Would you rather take your chances with me?"

Snotlout blinks to that. "Fishface it is." With that, the four of them split off into their group and follow along the trail, only to find that the hill wasn't that large and the split paths just ended up meeting at the other side, causing the two parties of Rangers to meet up once again.

Upon seeing the girls, Fishlegs comments, "Huh, I thought the path split off a bit more."

"Either way, it brought you all in the right direction." Said a deep, familiar voice, making the rangers look to see Vidger, Dagur, this new spiked Scale Crusher and the Scale Shedders.

Heather spots Dagur and says, "Dagur!"

Astrid adds, "Vidger. Finally decided to get out of your lair and do some dirty work, I see."

Vidger replies, "Some things are just that important, not that you'd understand. Take them down." Dagur, the Crusher and the Shedders step forward.

Heather then steps forward and speaks to Dagur, "Dagur! Dagur! You have to snap out of this! This isn't you, this is that chip on your Morpher!"

Dagur then states, "I am no longer the Dagur that you once knew, I have become something far more powerful, something that you could've become had you just stuck with me. You are worthless to me now."

Hearing this would've brought tears to Heather's eyes if she wasn't in front of those who wanted to destroy her. She closes her eyes for a moment and thinks about all the times that she and Heather spent together, but then she watched those memories shatter before her eyes as she realized this isn't the same person, so she opens her eyes and says, "…Fine. If that's how it's going to be."

Astrid puts a hand on Heather's shoulder and tells her, "You take back Dagur, we'll take care of these fools."

The spiked Scale Crusher replies, "Fools? I detest to that!"

Heather ignores the Crusher and replies, "Thank you, Astrid."

The four Rangers then stand side by side as Astrid asks, "You guys ready?"

The boys and Heather reply, "Ready!"

In an instant, Snotlout, Astrid and Fishlegs throw their arms out to the side while calling, "DRAGO FURY, FIRE UP!" while bringing their Morpher to their chest and slamming it with their other hand, causing their respective red, blue and yellow Power Ranger suits to pop up in a flash.

Heather then throws her left arm back while calling, "BERSERK FURY, FIRE UP!" before holding her right arm out and bringing it over to slap her Morpher, causing her silver Ranger suit to cover her in a flash.

Once morphed, Heather leaps to the side and has Dagur follow her to a nearby clearing so they can begin their battle while the other Rangers begin fighting the Scale Shdders and Scale Crusher. Vidger uses the commotion to slip away to whatever he was planning on doing while whispering to himself, "This should keep them occupied."

Astrid goes right after the Scale Crusher as it says, "There's only room on this island for one blue, spiky creature!"

Astrid replies, "I was just going to say the same thing! Nadder Axe!" She pulls out her blue, spiked axe and swings it at the crusher to be blocked by a jagged sword that the Crusher had pulled out. Astrid could tell that those spikes meant that hand to hand combat might not be the best move, but luckily she knew other methods of fighting. She leaps up and calls, "Spine Circle!" Before firing a ring of spines that surround the Cursher.

The Crusher yells, "That the best you got?" While releasing its own circle of spikes that block Astrid's spikes with pinpoint accuracy, which Astrid uses her axe to knock out of the sky.

Meanwhile, Snotlout and Fishlegs were busy dealing with the Scale Shedders. Fishlegs asks Snotlout, "Well, we get to fight Scale Shedders again, like you wanted."

Snotlout replies while punching a Shedder in the stomach, "Yeah, but I wish I could enjoy it! Nightmare Blaster!" He pulls out his red blaster and fires it at a few more Shedders, hitting each one perfectly.

Fishlegs soon found himself inside a circle of Shedders, so he calls, "Gronk Bludgeon!" And raises his yellow bludgeon before spinning in a circle, knocking over each black clothed minion. He soon notices a triangle of 10 shedders in front of him and flings his bludgeon, making it spin and causing 8 of the Shedders to get knocked over, besides the ones on the far right and far left.

Snotlout comments, "Oh, 7/10 split! Need to up your Shedder bowling game."

Fishlegs calls back his bludgeon and cracks his neck before saying, "Oh, do I?" Before flinging the bludgeon again, hitting the Shedder on the far left, ricocheting to the far right and coming right back to Fishlegs. "Because I think I can spare my time for other projects." Not impressed with Fishlegs's pun, Snotlout rolls his eyes and continues fighting.

While that was going on, Dagur and Heather were going at it with each other, swinging punches and kicks which were successfully blocked by the other. Heather throws a left arm punch, Dagur blocks with an open right hand, Dagur throws up a right kick, Heather blocks with her right foot.

During the fight, Dagur asks, "Come on, aren't you worried about hurting your precious brother, Dagur?"

Heather knew that this was just a trick to let her guard down, so she replies, "You are not Dagur, at least not the Dagur I know. You're just a guy in a mask pretending to be Dagur!"

Dagur shrugs. "Then I guess it's time for you to die! Tri-Stryke Blaster, lightning!" He pulls out his violet, tri sectioned blaster and sets the knob at the front to the yellow setting before firing bolts of lightning towards Heather.

Heather makes quick work of pulling out her silver Razor battle axe and extending it to make a double sided axe before twirling it in front of her, directing the bolts of energy away from her. Some of the bolts end up going into her axe, so she leaps up to her right, clips her axe into a V shape, and flings the electric fueled axe towards Dagur like a boomerang which strikes Dagur where he stood, sending shocks all over his body and stunning him.

Suddenly, time seemed to slow down around both Berserks as Heather gets a side view of Dagur's left arm, spotting the red dot of his inhibitor chip. Knowing exactly what she needed to do, Heather throws her arm up and sends a steel spike just as Dagur was lifting his arm, striking the chip and making it fly off into a nearby tree, destroying the chip upon contact.

Heather does a flip and lands on the ground with her right arm planted into the dirt.

After shaking off the bolts, Dagur looks back over to Heather and says, "Think that will take me out?...wait…what?" Suddenly, Dagur feels his head throbbing as a surge of memories come back to him. Memories of him protecting Heather, of him picking her up when she felt down, of the two of them bonding over playing board games and watching TV, and in a split moment, Dagur finally realized his mistake. He then utters with a shaking voice. "H…Hea-ther!" His violet Ranger suit then fades away in a flash before he utters, "I…remember!" before he falls back onto the ground.

The face covering on Heather's silver suit lifts as she yells, "DAGUR!" before rushing over to him.

Further up the hill, Snotlout and Fishlegs had taken out all of the Scale Shedders and met back up with Astrid to deal with the blue spiked Scale Crusher. The Crusher lets out an evil laugh while claiming, "Don't mean to be blunt, but you Rangers really aren't the sharpest in the box."

Fishlegs whispers to Astrid. "What are we going to do?"

Astrid thinks for a moment and looks over to Snotlout before saying, "Snotlout, give me your Drago Scale."

Snotlout asks, "WHAT? Do you want me to get my tombstone ready as well?"

Astrid replies, "I think I know a way I can take this guy out, but I need your Scale to do so." She lifts the eye cover on her blue Ranger helmet and asks, "Please?" while fluttering her eyelashes.

Snotlout knew very well he can't resist Astrid's ocean-blue eyes, so he pouts as he plucks his red Drago Scale from his Morpher, making his Ranger suit crumble away into small scales that went right back into his Morhper, and hands the scale to Astrid saying, "I hope you know what you're doing." Before dashing off to hide behind a random tree.

Astrid looks to Fishlegs and tells him, "Do NOT tell Hiccup I did that."

Fishlegs puts his hands up. "Your secret is safe with me."

Astrid then picks up the red Scale and calls, "Red Drago Scale, lock!" she clips it into a slot on the right side of her Morpher next to her blue Drago Scale, causing both scales to glow, she crosses her arms in front of her chest before calling, "Drago Fury, Power Fusion!" She throws her arms into the air and connects them in an arch shape.

The red and blue Drago Scales shine bright as the red Scale causes small red scales to form around her and collect on her blue suit, giving her whole Ranger suit stripes of red plus two long, hooked horns at the back of her helmet.

Once the fusion was complete, she leaps into the air and calls, "Flaming spines!" She extends some spines from her hands which light up at the tips and flings those spines at the Scale Crusher, the Crusher flings some of its own spikes to block, but the fire and speed of Astrid's spines made them go right through the Crusher's spikes and strike it in various weak points.

Astrid then calls, "Fishlegs!"

Fishlegs leaps up and flings his yellow Gronk bludgeon at the Crusher, making Astrid's spines sink deeper into the Crusher's body.

From behind the tree, Snotlout says, "Nice one, Astrid." However, it was then that he notices something wedged into a hole in the tree, what looked to be a small, black scale that had a dot of white towards the center that made a light flash at Snotlout. Curious, Snotlout reaches into the hole and plucks the scale from the tree and puts it into his pocket, making a note to see what it is later.

Astrid then picks up a red and blue striped blaster and calls, "Nadder/Nightmare Blaster!" She fires the blaster, causing a bolt in the shape of a very large spine to fire out and strike the Crusher where it stood, destroying it in seconds.

With that done, Astrid and Fishlegs's Ranger suits dissipate into small scales that get absorbed into their Morphers while Snotlout rejoins them saying, "That was great, but can I have my Drago Scale back?"

Astrid plucks the red scale from her Morpher and tosses it to Snotlout before saying, "No problem. Hey, Dagur and Heather!"

The two of them dash off to see Dagur lying on the ground unconscious and Heather, out of her own suit, holding him close saying, "Dagur! Dagur, come on! You have to wake up…please!" tears began rolling down Heather's face as she feared the worst.

However, as soon as Heather's tears dripped onto Dagur's chest, she feels a large hand reach up to touch her cheek. Looking down, Heather asks, "Dagur?!"

She sees Dagur lying there, eyes open, with a smirk on his face saying, "Took you long enough." Knowing that that's the exact kind of humor Dagur has, Heather smiles even wider as she holds Dagur even tighter. Dagur pats Heather on the back before whispering. "Thank you…for saving me."

Heather looks down at Dagur and states, "You would've done the same."

Noticing there were others nearby, Dagur looks up to the other Rangers who seemed to be pleased that he was back. "Oh, hey, it's you guys." With some help from his sister, Dagur gets back onto his feet and says, "Hey, uh, no hard feelings, right?"

Astrid glances over to the boys and replies, "You weren't yourself, we get it."

Dagur was about to add something when a deep voice comes up. "Well, isn't this lovely?" They look up to see Vidger standing on top of the hill with his arms crossed, even from within his mask the Rangers could tell he was far from pleased. "Such a nice family reunion."

Dagur steps up and states, "You're going to pay for what you did to us!"

Vidger lets out a light chuckle. "You assume I'm even going to stay to fight. It seems that the thing I came here for isn't actually here like I hoped. Pity, but at least I can leave you all a parting gift." He pulls up a golden controller with a red button and presses that button before saying, "Engage Mega-Beast Mode!" Before fading away in a flash.

From where the dark blue, spiked Scale Shedder was destroyed, it reappears and grows to a building size as it laughs down at the Rangers. "Looks like I get the target practice that I needed."

Astrid steps up and grabs Snotlout's Morpher, pressing the call button before saying, "Hiccup, we could really use those Drago Zords right about now."

From her Morhper, Hiccup's nasally voice pops up and replies, "Funny you should mention." Astrid then hears the sound of large wings beating coming in from behind her. All of the Rangers look behind them and see the red Nightmare Zord, blue Nadder Zord, yellow Gronk Zord and black Night Fury Zord coming in at full speed. On the head of the Night Fury Zord, Hiccup stood with his arms crossed.

Astrid calls, "HICCUP!"

Hiccup then states, "I've been having these guys on standby as I was waiting for your call. Also, these two followed me." He gestures behind him to the silver Razor Zord and violet Stryke Zord. Hiccup leaps from his Zord and lands just in front of the others before stating, "For everyone's sake, I hope that's a good thing."

Astrid states, "Hiccup, it's exactly what we need!"

Hiccup nods and looks to Dagur and Heather, "You must be Dagur and Heather, don't believe we've properly met."

Dagur then rubs the back of his head, "Yeah, uh, sorry about that whole knocking you into a coma thing."

Hiccup shakes his head. "Hey, I've had plenty of people want to do the exact same, you're just the first to apologize for actually doing so. We'll exchange pleasantries later, right now, we've got to deal with him." He points up to the Scale Crusher. "If you guys are ready, let's morph up and get out of here."

Astrid, Fishlegs and Snotlout nod. "Ready!"

Hiccup looks over to Dagur and Heather and give them a raised brow before they both nod. "We're ready!"

Hiccup nods as all 6 Rangers stand side by side. Hiccup, Astrid, Snotlout and Fishlegs then hold their arms out to the side while calling, "Drago Fury…"

Dagur and Heather add while holding their left arm up in an L shape. "Berserk Fury…"

And all 6 put their arms together to slap their Morpher while calling, "FIRE UP!" From each Morhper, flurries of black, blue, red, yellow, violet or silver scales pop out and surround each respective person to form their Power Ranger suits. Once morphed up, the six Rangers call, "DRAGO RANGER POWER!"

The Rangers then leap into their respective Drago Zord and get to forming the Drago Megazord, which put the Nightmare Zord at the body, the Nadder and Gronk Zords on the arms and the Night Fury Zord on the back with its head as a helmet, and the Berserk Megazord, which split the Razor Zord into four parts that formed on the Stryke Zord's arms and legs before its mouth opens up to reveal a head.

With both Megazords facing the Scale Crusher, it calls out, "Doesn't matter if I'm battling 5 Megazords, I will not fail!" It fires massive spines at both Megazords, which the Berserk Megazord blocks using a spinning sword made of the Stryke Zord's three tails.

The Drago Megazord steps up and throws punches which seem to do nothing as the Scale Crusher puts up its body spikes to deflect it. Both Megazords then fire a series of spines which all get deflected by the Crusher spinning in a circle.

Heather then states, "Guys, we need more power!"

Snotlout then remembers the scale he found earlier and states, "Hey, how about this?" He pulls the white Power Scale from his pocket.

Hiccup sees the scale then asks, "Where the hell did you get that?"

Snotlout shrugs. "A good magician never reveals his secrets."

Seeing the scale from the screen in his Zord, Dagur then claims, "That must be what Vidger came to this island to find!"

Snotlout then claims, "I have no idea what this thing does, but hopefully it will save our butts! Power Scale, activate!" The black scale with a white dot shines as Snotlout puts it into his Morpher before he calls, "Calling, Drago Zord!"

A minute later, a white Drago Zord the size of a bicycle that looked like a rhinoceros with wings shows up and flies in in between the two Megazords. Seeing the small dragon, Heather comments, "That's what you called in? What's it supposed to do, pick that Scale Crusher's teeth?"

The Scale Crusher lets out a loud laugh, "You really think that puny Zord can take ME out? Get real!"

Snotlout stammers, "I…I don't get it, I thought something bigger was coming!"

Hiccup shakes his head. "Clearly you need to pick up the Book of Dragons. Just wait."

Snotlout shrugs. "Alright. Uh…do…something!"

Suddenly, the small, white Zord looks behind itself and lets out a loud cry. Moments later, a swarm of dozens if not hundreds of smaller, black Drago Zords that look just like the white one appear from all directions, some slipping under the Scale Crusher's legs and nipping at it, giving the sensation of fire ants biting. The smaller Zords then gather around the white one and form the shape of the Drago Megazord with the white Zord positioned in the chest.

Astrid comments, "Whoa!"

Fishlegs adds, "It made another Drago Megazord!"

Dagur and Heather add, "Far out!"

Hiccup explains, "Gang, meet the Night Terror Zords, a swarm of small Drago Zords that, under the command of the white Alpha, can form intricate shapes and designs, including a much larger version of themselves. Just proof that sometimes numbers can beat out physical size."

Snotlout comments, "Oh, I just got so much more respect for these little guys. Alright, Night Terror Zords, attack!" The white Night Terror Zord commands the black ones to step towards the Scale Crusher before swinging a fist, the Zords bearing mind to move out of the way of the spikes to land the punch successfully and land a few more.

The Scale Crusher comments, "This is ridiculous!"

It raises a blue, spiked sword and swings it down towards the Night Terror Zords when Snotlout commands, "Swarm!" All of the Zords then move out to either side of the Crusher and swarm around it, slipping past its spikes to land jabs with the horns on their heads, the white one slipping in to take away the Crusher's sword.

The Night Terror Zords fly away to show a damaged Scale Crusher when Hiccup commands, "Now! Drago Megazord quad blast!"

Dagur adds, "Berserk Megazord blast!"

Both Megazords then fire beams of energy of each of the 6 colors that spiral towards the Scale Crusher and destroys it where it stood. With that done, the Megazords turn around and, with the Night Terror Zords close behind, walk into the ocean and off the island as it sinks into the deep water.

(Later, back at the Dragerium)

The 6 Power Rangers and Alicia are sat at the Dragerium's main area as Dagur states, "Well, thank you all for saving us, and Heather, thank you for believing that the real me was still there all along."

Heather smiles and hugs Dagur tight. "I'm just glad to be myself again."

Dagur then rubs his head. "It's weird, though, I feel like I was told something when I was under control, but I can't remember what it was."

Alicia comments, "I can imagine that you went through a lot, I'm just happy that we can now get to know the real Dagur and Heather."

Hiccup then steps in and states, "Well, hold on there, Alicia. I'm not entirely convinced that these two were only acting upon those chip's control."

Dagur and Heather could see worried eyes lock on them, something they both expected the entire ride over to the Dragerium. Heather sighs and states, "Look, we're not gonna ask for full forgiveness for what we did, neither of us deserve it, but believe us when we say that we are now here to fight with you, not against you."

Hiccup crosses his arms and thinks for a moment before replying, "I don't know…I guess I just need proof that what you're saying is true."

Dagur and Heather look to each other and give a knowing nod before Dagur states, "Well then, how about some inside information regarding the Scale Shedders? About who is really in charge here."

Curious, Hiccup glances over to the others in the room who all seemed intrigued by this sudden bring-up when he states, "Well…that info isn't going to tell itself."

Sighing, Heather explains, "…Vidger is not the leader we think he is. Although he did create the Scale Shedders, there is someone above him, someone far more powerful and even more dangerous. He simply goes by the name, Grisly. Sound familiar?"

All eyes look to Hiccup as they were wondering if he knows about this. Hiccup shrugs. "I had a theory that there might be someone else, but up until now I never had any actual proof. So, this Grisly is the real deal?"

Dagur adds, "He is. We have met him and let me tell you, if you thought Vidger was bad then this guy is something else entirely. We're certain that he was the one who made the inhibitor chips that were on our Morphers, so we both know that he needs to pay for taking away both our sense of reason and our will to help others instead of take them out."

Hiccup thinks about the information he just heard, mulling over whether or not it's all true. He looks to the other Rangers and Alicia who all seem to give him looks that tell him that they believe in what Dagur and Heather just told them, so he looks to the Berserks and states, "Well then, if that's the case then I guess we better make sure our new recruits are up to speed with training."

Grateful for this outcome, Dagur and Heather smile wide as they get up to hug their new friends and new teammates, excited to get to training.
