Here's the next chapter.

Anna

I wake up the next day and decide to go the gym with Brie. We arrive at the local crossfit in town and when we enter we see several of our colleagues and I notice Joe and Jon are around.

Brie and I put our stuff down and we notice Colby completing a rotation. I slyly watch him as he finishes his set and he looks hot. He places the bar down and glances in my direction and smiles. He then turns his head to the other side and Leighla appears. My heart sinks. "You okay?" Brie asks.

"Yeah, I forgot we were in his home town." I admit.

"Cheer up and let's destroy this workout."

"Good idea."

We get to the first rotation and just as I'm about to begin Leighla approaches me. "You can stop staring." she demands.

I turn to face her blankly. "What?"

"Stop staring at my man."

"I have no idea what you're on about, now if you excuse me I have a workout to do."

"You shouldn't be so obvious."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means that you need to stay away." She warns.

"Or what Leighla, what are you going to do?" I ask stepping towards her.

She looks at me wide eyed and takes a step back. "Everything alright here?" Brie asks from behind Leighla.

"Perfect, Leighla was just leaving." I answer smiling.

"Bitch." she mumbles walking off.

"How pathetic." I chuckle and she looks back at me rattled.

I go to step up to her but Brie stops me. "Let it go."

"She needs to know who she's messing with."

"You're better than her."

"That's right I am." I agree and send her a fake wave and she storms off.

After completely destroying myself, I lie in a puddle of my own sweat as Brie hovers over me. "How do you feel?" she asks laughing.

"I suck at crossfit." I groan.

"Because you don't do it enough." Jon chimes in from next to Brie.

"You okay?" Joe asks laughing.

"Just dying." I say with a thumbs up.

They chuckle and Jon helps me up. "Not a fan?"

"No, I'm just not used to this."

"We saw that heated conversation with Leighla." Joe mentions.

"You did?"

"Yeah, we did, but it looks like you didn't let her get to you." Jon responds.

"She called me a bitch."

"And then you gave her the fakest wave to leave her speechless." Joe chuckles.

"Remind us to never get on your badside." Brie jokes.

"Don't do anything to piss me off, or come after my family amd friends then you're good."

"Are you excited about Payback?" Jon asks.

"I'm so excited. I get to fight in my home town."

"Do you think you'll win?" Joe asks.

"I want to win."

"We'll be rooting for you." Jon responds.

"Thanks." I smile and glance at the time. "We better go."

"See you at the arena ladies." Joe fairwells.

We arrive at Smackdown and once settled I make my way to hair and make up. Tonight I have my hair in a ponytail with a braid running through it. For my gear I have a gold shimmery crop top with the letter S on the front with black leather shorts and combat boots.

Once taped in I make my way to gorilla with Brie. As we arrive I notice Randy waiting in the wings. I instantly want to run the other way. Can my night get any worse? "Off all fucking people." I mumble aloud.

"Don't let him get to you." Victoria advises.

"It's so hard, he shows up everywhere."

"Don't worry, you have us around." Brie reminds me.

"Did you two get a workout in today?" Tori asks us.

Brie nods. "Yeah we did."

"You would never guess who was there." I alert.

"Who?" Tori asks.

"Leighla." I answer. "I was doing my workout and she came up to me and told me to back off."

"What did you do?"

"I told her to watch it and to get lost."

"You saw?" She asks Brie.

"Yes. Serena wasn't having any of it." Brie confirms. "Joe and Jon also had a good laugh too."

"Did Colby see?"

I shake my head. "No."

"Ladies you're up next." a worker announces.

"Ready?" Brie asks me.

"Always." I grin.

I walk out with Brie by my side and we walk arm in arm down the ramp. "And her opponent, being accompanied by Brie Bella, from Seattle Washington, Sarah." Lillian announces and the crowd cheers loudly.

I enter the ring and Brie waits on the outside. The referee asks if Aksana and I are ready and we both nod. The referee rings the bell and we circle one another. "This match up is under way." Cole announces. "Sarah Vs Aksana, who on Monday announced that she will be in a triple threat match for the Divas Championship. What do you think JBL?"

"I think she has a very good chance at being the next divas champion." JBL answers.

I lock up with Aksana and use my speed to wrap my arm tightly around her neck and place her in a choke hold. Aksana starts to elbow me in the stomach, making me release my hold. She runs the ropes and delivers a scissor kick to my back. Aksana covers me but I kick out. "Sarah with a kickout." Cole exclaims. I quickly get to my feet and see Aksana run the ropes and I catch her and deliver a spine buster. I cover Aksana "1, 2." but she kicks out.

Aksana lays on her stomach and I start delivering elbow drops to her lower back. "Some hard elbow drops to Aksana's lower back, that's a good strategy, keep her weak." JBL praises.

"Sarah just keeps getting better and better." Cole expresses.

"I agree with you Michael." JBL agrees.

I pull Aksana up by her hair and deliver a neck breaker. I cover "1, 2." but she kicks out. I sit up and put her into my submission, The Agoniser. I lock it in and arch her spine back further and she starts to scream in pain and begins to tap. "This match is over." Cole announces.

Brie gets in the ring and hugs me and raises my hand. "Here is your winner, by submission, Sarah." Lillian announces.

I go over to the corner and ask for a microphone ."How's everyone doing tonight?" I ask the crowd and they cheer loudly in response. "I want AJ to know that her reign as Divas Champion is coming to an end." I declare. "She better hold that title tight, because at Payback, I'm going to be the one taking it from her." I warn. "At Payback I'm going to be walking out Divas Champion and thats a promise."

Monday comes around and it's back to work. I walk into Jane and Marks office to find the ladies and Mark and Jane already seated. Mark addresses us. "Thank you ladies for meeting with us." he begins. "Today we have a singles match that regards the three divas competing at Payback."

"The match for tonight is Sarah vs Tamina." Jane announces.

"Before the match starts, AJ will come out and be on commentary, and Kaitlyn will be seen in the back watching from backstage."

"After the match AJ will attack Sarah but Brie will come out make the save."

After our meeting we head to the locker room to put our stuff down. After some practice in the ring, I head to hair and make-up where I get my hair in tight curls and my make up is a lot bolder tonight.

Next I find Sandra who has some new gear for me. Tonight I'm wearing red shorts with red knee high socks and kicks. My cop top is in the design of a baseball.

We make our way to gorilla. When we walk around a corner, we bump into The Shield and Leighla. My mood changes and Brie squeezes my arm in comfort. "Hey guys." I greet.

I feel the glare coming from Leighla's' direction. "Nice gear." Jon compliments.

"Thank you." I thank.

"Do you have a match tonight?" Joe asks.

"Yeah with Tamina." I confirm. "It's going to be tough."

"You'll be fine." Colby reassures.

"I'm not worried about me, it's her that should be worried." I joke and we all laugh. "Oh hey, I Leighla didn't see you there." I greet finally addressing her. "Nice to see you again."

"Likewise." she retorts.

"Anyways I have a match to get to, good luck tonight guys."

"You too." they respond and we walk off.

Once we are out of ear shot Brie pulls me to the side. "Look I hate to say this but you need to get over Colby." She addresses.

I turn to face her. "Not you too."

"I'm only saying this because I don't want you to get hurt."

"Look I'm fine, Colby and I are just friends, nothing more."

"But you want more."

"We all want things we can't have and I live with it, but I have much more to worry about." I remind her. "Now if you excuse me, I have a match to prepare for."

We arrive at the gorilla and I'm pissed. I know Brie was only trying to be there for me, but I don't need to be scolded. Shaking off my mood I find Sarona and April ready to head out. "Good luck." April wishes.

"Thanks. Have fun and don't hold back." I tell her.

"Oh I won't." she chuckles and her music starts. Sarona follows soon after and my music hits and I walk out.

I walk out and the crowd erupts as I stand at the top of the ramp with my arms raised in the air. "And her opponent, from Seattle Washington, Sarah." Justin announces as I make my way down the ramp.

I head to the corner and turn to face the crowd and blow them a kiss. I hop down and walk over to the other corner and stand on the ropes and point to AJ and gesture to my waist. "It looks like Sarah is after your title AJ." Cole says watching on.

"What do you think of that?" JBL asks her.

"I'm not worried." AJ replies watching me closely.

I blow her a kiss and hop down. I turn my attention back to Tamina and the referee rings the bell and we circle one another.

Tamina charges at me but I quickly move out of the way and start attacking her from behind. I punch her as hard and fast as I can which makes her topple over her and I start to kick her and she's on the ground. "Those are some rough kicks to the back of Tamina, what a way to bring her down." King expresses.

I continue kicking her and place her in a headlock and use all my strength to weaken her. Tamina elbows me in the face and I release her. Tamina runs the ropes and close lines me and I hold my back in pain. "A huge close line by Tamina." Cole exclaims. Tamina covers "1, 2." but I kick out. "Kick out by Sarah."

I roll to the corner and use the ropes to pull myself up. I see Tamina charging at me and I use my speed and move out of the way. As she is stunned from the collision with the corner, I quickly roll her up from behind. "Roll up by Sarah." JBL shouts but she quickly kicks out.

Tamina charges at me again but I duck the punch thats aimed at my head and and kick her in the leg which makes her drop to the floor.

I start to stomp on that same leg keeping her weak. "Sarah is targeting the left leg, good strategy." Cole praises.

"What's on your mind AJ?" King asks.

"I'm studying." AJ snaps as I get to the corner and climb the ropes.

I wait for Tamina to get to her feet and dive on top of her and taker her down. I quickly cover "1, 2." but she kicks out again. I sit up frustrated. "Come on." I shout at the ref and pull her up and deliver a neck breaker. I cover again "1, 2." but she kicks out. "Agh."

"It looks like Sarah has had enough and she's ready to finish this." Cole says watching on.

I pull Tamina up and put her in the position for the Kiss of Death but she counters by flipping me over the top off her and I land on my back. "Tamina countered the kiss of death." Jerry shrieks. "Did you see how high she flew?"

Tamina waits for me to get back to my feet and as I turn around I walk right into a big boot. "What a boot!" JBL shouts.

"This is over, Sarah is out cold." Cole adds just as loud.

AJ has a huge grin on her face and starts to stand. "Well boys it's been nice chatting." She farewells.

Tamina covers me "1, 2 and" just before the referee hits the three, I kick out. "OMG." The crowd shouts in excitement "How did she kick out?" King asks in shock.

I start to get my senses back and hold my jaw. Tamina looks to the corner and goes for the frog splash.

She gets to the top rope and jumps but just before she hits me I roll out of the way and Tamina lands hard on her stomach. "Sarah rolls out of the way just in time." Cole exclaims.

I start to get to my feet. "I don't see how Sarah is standing right now; she should be out called from that big boot." JBL expresses.

"She's tough and she's showing it." Jerry responds.

I'm on my feet and pull Tamina up with me. I put her into the position of the Kiss of Death and I lift her up over my shoulders and flip her face first onto the mat. I quickly cover her "1, 2, and 3."

AJ is seething and rips her head set off as I'm facing the fans. "Wait, what is AJ doing?" Cole asks as she bolts into the ring.

I feel a fist hit me from behind and I fall forward and AJ continues to attack me. "This attack is unwarrented." Jerry scolds. "Sarah had her back turned."

All of a sudden Brie's music stars and the crowd cheers. "Here comes Brie Bella to the rescue." Cole announces.

Brie runs down the ramp and AJ escapes the ring just in time. She quickly grabs her title and clutches it tightly walking back up the ramp. "No one will ever take this from me." She shouts.

Brie helps me up as I hold my head. I make it to my feet and stare down AJ and I'm pissed off. "Sarah is not happy, I wonder what she'll do now?" JBL wonders.

"I don't know, but this has gotten a lot more interesting." Cole responds as Brie helps me out of the ring.

After we are out of sight April comes up and hugs me. "That match was amazing." She expresses.

"Thank you, but that kick to the jaw hurt." I wince holding my jaw.

"It looked painful." Brie mentions.

Jane appears just as we are about to head to the locker room. "Great match." she says.

"Thanks." I thank.

"Serena, do you mind doing an interview with Renee?"

"Of course not. Right now?" I ask. She nods and escorts me to set. I find Renee getting her hair and make-up re-touched. "Hey lovely."

"Hey, great match." She greets.

I smile. "Thank you, I'm buggered."

"This won't take long."

"Ladies and gentleman, with me at this time, Sarah." Renee welcomes and the crowd cheers as I appear on screen. "Sarah you were just attacked by AJ Lee, how are you feeling?"

"I'm angry." I say angrily. "She's so afraid of me that she did the cowardly thing to do and attacked me from behind." I shout. "She didn't even have the guts to come and attack me face on, what a whimp."

"What's your next move?"

"I was going to play this game nicely, but she just went and made this a lot more fun, but it's her loss, as I'm going to end her short title rain once and for all." I declare. "AJ has now angered a sleeping giant that should have never been awoken." I warn. "AJ if your listening, kiss that title goodbye because at Payback you're going it."

Back in the locker room all the ladies are hanging out. "Hey great match." Trinity praises as I enter.

"Thanks girl. I'm exhausted." I respond.

"You took a beating, but your promo tonight was insane, you scared me." Ariane replies.

I laugh. "Well thank you."

"Meet you at the car?" Brie asks me.

"Yeah, I'll meet you there." I respond and quickly gather my things. I make my way out and I hear my name being called. I turn around and see it's Colby. "Hey."

"Hi." He greets.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just wanted to say you killed it tonight."

"Thanks, I'm really enjoying the feud."

"It's great, we're all watching."

"Really?"

"Really." he confirms. "We don't usually tune in, but when you are out there, how couldn't we?"

"Are you checking me out Colby?"

He smirks. "Who wouldn't, you look great out there."

I laugh. "Well I work hard."

"Hey babe." An annoying voice greets. Colby's smile faults as I see Leighla walk up from behind him. "You ready to go?"

"Yeah."

"I've got to go, see you Colby." I fairwell and walk off.
