Anna

Today Nattie and I are looking at a potential apartment for me. Our meeting with the agent is at 12 so we decide to have breakfast first. We arrive at a cafe on and take our seats. "You know living here for so long I haven't really explored the city much." I inform her.

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah, I never had the time, I was working so much."

"Well you definitely need to when you get time off."

It's 12:00 and it's time for the apartment tour. We pull up to an apartment complex and I take a look around the area. The complex is modern and luxurious, it's close to the beach, the facade is lovely to look at and I can see there is a lot of amenities.

We get out of the car and make our way to a security office. I pull out my phone and ring the agents number. "Hello." a male voice answers.

"Hi, I'm Serena Smith, I'm here to view the apartment." I respond.

"Fabulous. I'll be right down." A few minutes later a man dressed in an expensive suit walks out. "Hi Serena, I'm Steve, we've been communicating over the phone."

"Nice to meet you." I greet shaking his hand. "I'm sorry I haven't been easy to communicate with, I'm on the road most of the time."

"That's not a problem."

"Steve this is my friend Nattie." I introduce gesturing to Nattie.

"Nice to meet you." He smiles. "Are you ready to view the apartment?"

"Yes."

"Previously discussed with you, I have been looking for appropriate apartments with the right security that you need." he relays as we make our way up the elevator. "What I'm showing you here ticks off all the boxes you've asked for. It's two bedrooms and two bathrooms."

"That's great."

We stop at the fourth floor and make our way down the hall and stop at one of the doors towards at the end of the hallway. He takes out a set of keys and unlocks the door. He opens it and leads Nattie and I inside. "Please come in."

We walk in and my mouth drops. The first thing I see is the the view. "Wow." Nattie gasps.

"This is beautiful." I say taking it in.

"As you can see there is a spacious modern kitchen, lounge and living area all connected." he points out. "Down the hall are the two bedrooms. The guest bedroom is on the left and the master is at the end of the hall with its own ensuite and walk in robe. The main bathroom is on the right."

"How old is this complex?"

"Two years old."

After viewing each room carefully, we make our way back into the lounge room. "This is perfect." I express.

"The price is for what comes with the apartment. It's fully furnished so you don't have to worry about that."

"How much?" I querie.

"$700 a week." He answers. "You aren't going to find anything like this anywhere else. Plus there is 24 hour security." he explains. "To enter as you saw, there is a gate where you have your own access key, as well as a button for the basement to park in." He explains. "If you have visitors, security have to let them in through the gate."

"And there's 24 hour security?"

"Yes, they do regular checks around the complex." he confirms. "Nobody can get in without them knowing unless they are doing perimeter checks which is when you can let them in."

"Well this place is great." I respond. "The location, the size, the price. It's what I need."

"We've spoken with your current landlord about your lease and as it's almost up we've arranged for it to end early."

"Really? How quick can I move in?"

"There's a waiting off period between the two leases but not long. A max of 2 weeks at the most, maybe earlier, depending on how fast the background checks and paperwork goes through." He explains. "I will go get the paperwork and leave you two to chat." Steve finishes and leaves the apartment.

After signing all the paperwork we head back to Nattie's. "So you have a new place, are you happy?" Nattie asks.

"Ecstatic." I answer. "It's perfect, I can't wait to move in, but I do want to thank you for letting me stay at yours, I appreciate it."

"Dont worry about it, it was great having you there and I'll miss having another girl around."

"You can come over anytime."

"I'll definitely be over." she grins. "Where are you staying tonight?"

"At a hotel." I answer.

"Are you going to be okay by yourself?"

"I'll be fine."

"Are you doing anything tonight?" She wonders.

"Dinner with my."

"Give them my best."

"I will, see you tomorrow and enjoy the day Nattie."

It's 7:00 and it's time for dinner. I'm looking forward to seeing my friends. I've been so busy at work I hardly get to see them. For dinner tonight I'm wearing a white singlet with a black mini skirt and brown ankle boots. My hair is dead straight and for my make up I have gone for a natural look.

I arrive at the restauraunt and as I walk in, I immediately see my best friend. "Anna." I squeal.

"Serena you look great." She compliments hugging me tightly.

"Thanks, as do you."

"How's work?"

"Busy, but I love it."

"You doing okay?" She wonders.

"Better now that I know who my stalker is."

"I can't believe it's that asshole."

"Let's not talk about that now, let's just have a fun dinner okay."

"Fine but if I were to ever bump into him he'll be sorry."

I laugh. "I think there is a long line of people in front of you but thanks."

Finally the girls arrive and we all sit down and catch up. "Serena how are you?" Eliza asks.

"I'm good, and you?"

"Great but works a nightmare."

"How are you Lisa?"

"Good, mum's doing better." She answers.

"Give her my best."

"I will." she smiles. "How are you? It seems like you are getting more popular with the fans."

"I love it so much, everytime I go out there I just don't want to leave." I respond.

"And you have a title shot at Payback right?" Angela asks.

"I do and it's in Seattle too."

"Are you nervous about going back to your hometown?" Anna asks.

"A little I haven't been back since I left."

"Will you see your family?" Eliza asks.

"I will, my aunt and uncle are having a BBQ."

"How's your mum?" Lisa asks.

"She's good. I talk to her as much as I can, it's been a hard adjustment but we go day by day."

"She's really changed?" Angela queries.

"She has, she has a new life going for her. She's a step mother, she's getting married." I list.

"Have you met her fiancé?" Eliza asks.

"No. I haven't. But I'm hoping to get down to Miami soon."

"How's everything going with your stalker?" Angela questions.

"I found out who it is, so I have a lot more security on me now especially at shows." I answer.

"How do you feel though, this must be hard on you?" Lisa questions.

"It's been hard." I confess. "But I keep my head up and I try to focus on other things."

"We're here for you if you need." Angela offers

"I'm very thankful for that." I smile. "Now enough seriousness, lets have a good night."

The next day I wake up to my alarm as it's a big day. It's Nattie's wedding which I'm excited for. I quickly put on some workout clothes and head to the gym where I meet up with Brie and Brian. "Hey." I greet them.

"It looks like you had a good night last night." Brie notices.

I laugh "I did."

"Ready to work off what you put on last night?"

"Let's do it."

"How did the apartment search go?" Brie asks as we run on the treadmill.

"It went great, I have a new apartment." I respond.

"That's great. Is it what you needed?"

"It is and it's even better than I originally thought, I can't wait to move in."

"That's good to hear." She smiles. "Did you get up to any mischief last night?"

"We may or may not have gone out for a dance and I may or may not have made out with a guy on the dance floor."

"Serena Smith you go girl." she cheers and I laugh. "You had a good night?"

"I did, when me and my friends get together we let loose."

"You must of enjoyed it a little too much."

After our workout I part ways from Brie and Brian and head back to the hotel. I quickly shower and put on some clean clothes and head to the hairdresser. I arrive at the salon and greet my stylist. "Jess." I greet excitedly.

"Serena, it's been to long, you look amazing." she compliments.

"Thank you, I feel it."

"So what are we doing today?"

"I have a wedding today." I announce. "So I need my regrowth done, maybe a curly up do, make-up done, everything."

"No problem we will get you looking beautiful." she promises as she takes my hair out of its hair tie. "Just sit back and relax."

About 2.5 hours later I'm finished and I look at my final look. I have some fresh blonde highlights which have been pinned in a curly updo. My make-up has a shimmery glow to it and it's looking amazing.

I get back to the hotel and quickly get my dress out of its bag and slip it on. I grab some peach heels and a gold choker to finish off the look.

Once I'm ready I take a look at myself in the mirror and see the finished look, and I look incredible! I'm in a floor length black dress with spaghetti straps. The front of the dress has a deep v-cut that shows a lot of cleavage. To add some more sexiness there is a huge slit on the left side to show off my leg.
