I arrive at Nattie's wedding which is at a beautiful beachside mansion. The weather is looking a little gloomy but hopefully it holds off. I walk in the front door and there are already so many people.
I look around trying to find familiar faces and once I make my way deeper into the mist of people I see some of the girls seated at a table. "Hi." I greet Brie.
"Hey you look beautiful." She compliments.
"As do you. Where's Nicole?"
"She's meeting John's family."
"Omg, how did Nattie take that?"
"Not well."
A little while later a lady enters the room. "Is Serena and Brie here?" She asks the crowd.
"That's us." I say gesturing to Brie and I.
"Nattie would like to see you two."
"Ok." Brie accepts.
We follow the lady out of the room and up a marble staircase. We enter a private suite and inside, Nattie is finishing up her hair. "Nattie you look beautiful." I say hugging her gently.
She looks up at me and starts to tear up. "What's wrong?" Brie asks concerned.
"Everything is going wrong." She cries.
"How so?"
"It was supposed to be sunny today, and the whole Garret situation."
I take Natties hand. "Nattie it's completely normal to think that everything is going to go wrong, but you need to take a deep breath and look around." I direct and she does. "Nattie this is your wedding day, you are marrying the love of your life today, don't let anyone or anything, take that from you."
"Today is going to be one of the best days of your life. Don't worry about the weather, you have a wedding planner that is currently fixing that as we speak." Brie reassures. "The only thing you should be thinking about, is seeing the love of your life standing at the end of the aisle."
"There are so many people out there wanting to see you marry TJ. You'll be fine." I promise and she starts to cry.
"Thanks girls I needed that." Nattie thanks.
"We are happy to help. Now stop crying and have the best day." Brie orders. She hugs us and smiles. "That's what we want to see, so keep that smile up and we'll see you soon."
As Brie and I make our way back down the stairs, we see Jaret and TJ talking. "Oh shit." I mumble.
"This isn't good." Brie says as we rejoin the table. Brian walks over to us. "What is Garett doing here?"
"He came over and started telling TJ that he's been talking to Nattie and that she deserves to be respected and admired." Brian relays.
"That dickhead." I scoff and Brian and Brie laugh. "This is not good, she's already losing it up there, we can't let him ruin her wedding."
Watching the conversation unfold TJ doesn't look happy. He finishes talking to Garret and walks of up stairs. We are ushered into the ballroom for the ceremony. We sit a couple rows back from the front and every now and then I turn my head back to the entrance hoping TJ comes back soon.
Eventually TJ enters and he seems to be in a better mood. Minutes later we hear music play and we all rise.
We watch as Nattie and her dad walk into the large room with Gizmo on her arm. I look at her and can't help but smile. She looks beautiful. Nattie walk past us as she holds on tightly to her father's arm. She makes it to TJ who hasn't been able to take his eyes of Nattie.
The ceremony starts and they say their vowels and are pronounced husband and wife. We all stand and clap for the newly married couple. Each row one by one follows the couple out and we head to the reception hall.
The champagne is flowing and about half an hour later Nattie and TJ are announced to the guests by Aaron as husband and wife. We all cheer as they head towards the dance floor for the first dance.
After the first dance our meals are served and we all sit down and small talk around the tables. After a while Brie suddenly gets a phone call. "It's Nicole." Brie alerts and stands up and taking the call outside. Moments later Brie walks back in and makes her way over to Nattie. I watch as they walk outside and after a few minutes they both come back in and Nattie looks to be in better spirits.
Brie rejoins the table. "What did Nikki want?" Brian asks Brie.
"She just wanted to apologise for not being here." Brie answers.
"That's good, is Nattie okay?" I ask her.
"Yeah she understands that things like this happen."
Brie, Trinity and I are currently killing it on the dance floor. Nattie sees us and makes her way over and we dance in a group. As we are dancing she quickly pulls me to the side. "I just wanted to thank you for letting me vent to you earlier." She thanks.
"Any time." I smile and she pulls me into a hug.
"I'm grateful to have you in my life."
"As am I."
Suddenly the music turns to a slow song so I make my way back to my table where I find a glass of wine. As I'm about to take a sip someone taps me on the shoulder. "Alright, Miss Smith, stop pouting let's dance." Brian's voice offers.
I turn to see Brian offering me his hand. "Don't you want to dance with Brie?" I question.
"She suggested I do this, and I want to."
"You sure?" I ask. He nods smiling. "Alright then."
We dance for a while and Brie butts in. "Mind if I steel him away?"
"Go for it." I laugh. "Thanks Brian."
"Don't mention it." He responds.
After dancing for a while I feel my feet start to get numb so I decide to call it a night. I make my way over to Nattie and TJ. "I'm leaving." I say as Nattie sees me.
"Thank you so much for coming, and for everything today." She thanks hugging me.
"Don't mention it. I had a great time."
"Thanks for coming Serena." TJ thanks.
"Thank you for having me, I had a blast." I smile. "Now look after this one, and if you hurt her, i'll kick your ass."
"Wouldn't want that would I?" TJ jokes as I give the couple one last hug.
The next day I'm awoken with a hangover but I have no time to wollow. I quickly shower and once dressed I leave and make my way to Jojo and Eva's place. Once out the front I ring their buzzer. "I'm out front." I announce.
"Coming." I hear Eva shout.
Moments later they walk down stairs with their bags and pile in my car. "Ready?"
"Let's go." Eva says.
Minutes later they appear and climb into the car and we are off.
"Eva when does your maxim shoot come out?" I ask as we continue our drive.
"Summerslam." She answers.
"Does that mean you might make your debut then and you too JoJo?"
"Maybe, we still don't know and we still have a lot to learn but I'm hoping soon." JoJo answers.
"So did you girls have fun at the wedding?" I ask.
"Yeah we did, it was heaps of fun."
"It was, we saw you and Brian dancing did Brie mind?" Eva mentions.
"Yeah she asked him to." I answer. "He's a good guy."
"He is." JoJo agrees.
"Eva how's Jonathan?"
"Really good." She answers.
"Have you told your parents about him yet?"
"No.
We arrive in Phoenix and make it to the hotel and we end up crashing. The rest of the weekend goes by quickly and it's time for Monday night Raw.
I head to the gym and find Colby working out. I set my stuff down and he walks over to me. "Hey." He greets.
"Hi."
"How was Nattie's wedding?"
"Really good, I had lot's of fun."
"You looked great."
I smile. "Thank you."
"I better get back to it."
"I better get started."
Arriving at the arena we head to talent relations to find Mark and Jane. As we pile in we see Jane and Mark already set up. "Morning ladies." Mark greets us.
"Hi." We greet.
"This week marks two weeks before Payback." Jane addresses. "As you know the divas match will be Kaitlyn, AJ and Sarah."
"Tonight there is going to be a singles match which will be AJ V Kaitlyn with Sarah as special guest referee. "Mark announces. "And on Smackdown there will be another match which will be Sarah V Kaitlyn with AJ the special guest referee."
We all leave and I go in search for Sandra. I eventually find her and she is working on my referee gear which is a black and white striped crop top and black short shorts and white Nikes. Whilst she's finishing my gear it I head to hair and makeup where Amy puts my hair in loose curls.
After my hair and make-up is complete I head to catering to grab a snack. I take a seat and start nibbling on some food. Brie comes over and takes a seat next to me. "You excited to be ref?" She asks.
"I am, I don't have to break a sweat." I joke.
She chuckles. "I just wanted to wish you good luck."
"Well thanks."

AJ and Kaitlyn aren't going to know what hit them #incharge
I have about ten minutes before I have to go on. I sit down and do a straddle stretch and as I am leaning over I see a shadow hovering over me. I look up and see it's Randy. I roll my eyes and don't even bother talking to him and go back to stretching. "It's rude to ignore people." He addresses.
"It's rude to hover." I retort.
"Do you have to be so bitchy?"
"Do you have to be so annoying?"
"Everything okay here?" a familiar voice interrupts that makes the butterflies in my stomach flutter.
I turn to see Colby eyeing Randy. "Yeah, Randal was leaving." I answer and he glares at us and walks off. "Will he ever give up."
"You okay?" Colby asks me.
"I'm fine."
"Special guest ref huh?" he asks observing my outfit.
"Will you be tuning in?" I question.
"Maybe, should I?"
"Hey Rena you ready?" asks April and Celeste from behind us. I turn to face them and they notice Colby standing there. "We're sorry."
Colby shakes it off. "I was just leaving, helping this one out with a hovering jackass." He explains.
"What happened?" April asks.
"Randy was hovering." I answer.
"And you saved her?" Celeste asks smiling.
"If you call it that, then yes." he grins. "Well I better be off, good luck ladies." he wishes and turns back to wink at me and my heart flutters shocked.
"You two have it bad for each other." Celeste states.
"What?"
"Someone's blushing." April teases.
"Stop it."
The crowd erupts as I walk out in my referee gear. "Making her way to the ring, she is the special guest referee, Sarah." Justin announces.
I make my way down the ramp and get up on the apron. I climb up onto a corner and face the crowd blowing them a kiss. "You heard that right folks, Sarah is the special guest referee, this should be interesting." Cole predicts.
"I wonder how the two in the match are going to cope with her calling the shots?" Jerry wonders.
Kaitlyn's music starts and I stand in a corner. "Introducing first, from Houston Texas, Kaitlyn." Justin announces as she walks down the ramp.
She eyes me as she gets in the ring and I hold my hands up in surrender and gesture to my shirt. "I'm the referee nothing more tonight."
Kaitlyn rolls her eyes. "Already some tension." Cole notices.
AJ's music starts and she skips down the ramp with her title around her waist. "And her opponent, from Union City New Jersey, she is the Divas Champion, AJ LEE." Justin finishes and quickly exits the ring.
AJ skips around the ring and gets in the ring. She eyes me and I roll my eyes. "I'm the referee AJ, you will do as I say." I advise and she hands her belt to a worker and I walk to the centre of the ring. I eye both of them and turn to Kaitlyn. "Are you ready?" I ask her. She nods then turns her attention to AJ. I then face AJ. "Are you ready?" She smiles and nods. I take a step back." Ring the bell."
"And this match is underway." JBL exclaims as Kaitlyn and AJ circle one another.
AJ and Kaitlyn lock up but Kaitlyn overpowers her and pushes her into the corner. Kaitlyn starts holding her there and I start counting. "1 2 3 4" and Kaitlyn releases as she holds her arms up.
AJ delivers a cheap shot and kicks her in the stomach causing Kaitlyn to hunch over. This allows AJ to deliver a closeline. AJ covers and Kaitlyn kicks out at 1. AJ glares at me. "What? It was 1." I say signaling my finger. AJ then pulls Kaitlyn up by the hair. "Off the hair AJ." I order and she delivers a neck breaker. AJ covers "1, 2." but she kicks out. I show her two fingers and she is frustrated.
"Another kick out by Kaitlyn. Sarah's counting is perfect, I don't know why AJ's so frustrated." JBL comments.
AJ puts Kaitlyn in a sleeper hold and she starts to fade. Kaitlyn starts to fight out and her arm starts to pump up. She begins to get to her feet as AJ starts to shriek. Kaitlyn starts elbowing AJ in the stomach which Kaitlyn some momentum to deliver multiple punches to and a standing closeline. "Close line by Kaitlyn." Cole announces.
Kaitlyn covers AJ. "1, 2." but she kicks out. Kaitlyn then starts kicking AJ while she's on the floor. She picks her up and delivers a suplex. "Suplex by Kaitlyn. There's the power from the former champion." Jerry admires.
Kaitlyn covers AJ "1, 2" but she kicks out. She looks up at me in anger. "2." I enforce. She gets up and starts coming towards me.
"What's Kaitlyn doing? Sarah is the ref, she could get disqualified." Cole worries.
"Kaitlyn, I'm the ref, if you touch me I will disqualify you." I warn as she backs me into the corner.
As this is happening AJ makes it to her feet. Kaitlyn turns around and AJ delivers a quick drop kick. This stuns her and allows AJ to run the ropes and deliver a Shinning Wizard. "AJ hits The Shining Wizard." JBL says loudly.
AJ covers. "1, 2 and 3. Ring the bell."
I stare at AJ and I raise her hand. She rips her hand away and we have a stare down. "It looks like AJ isn't done." Jerry observes.
"Just like I beat Kaitlyn tonight, I'm going to do the same to you." She says aloud.
I smirk. "Is that so?"
I hear the crowd start to stir and I quickly turn around and see Kaitlyn charging at me. I side step and she spears AJ. "Ooh." the crowd yells. Kaitlyn has her back to me and I hit The SarahStabber. "SarahStabber by Sarah. Is this how it's going to look in two weeks?" JBL asks.
I look at the two bodies and notice AJ's title is in the corner. I walk over to it and retrieve it. "Give me a mike." I yell out to someone. And they quickly hand me one. "See this picture." I point out. "Take a good look and remember what you see." I direct. "AJ down on the mat. Kaitlyn on the floor and me the last one standing." I exclaim as the crowd cheers. "I told you two that you can try all the cheap shots you like but it won't work. In two weeks at Payback, this is what everyone is going to see." I declare raising the title. "Me with this title above my head in victory."
I throw the mike away as my music starts up. "You just saw what happened, is this what it's going to look like in two weeks at Payback?" Cole asks.
