Everyone descended from the sky slowly, reaching the wet grass from the continuous rain. Natsu cracked his neck with a pain filled groan. Though his attention was quickly diverted when his eyes landed on Gajeel, who still had Lucy in his arms. The gruff dragon slayer set her down gently while Natsu made his way over to her unconscious body. He slipped off his black cape subconsciously and draped it over her shivering body.

"Dammit Lucy, you idiot. Why didn't you tell me..." Natsu sighed, watching her expression fill with pain. Her breaths becoming short as she began to pant. Wendy stumbled up next to Natsu and bent down next to him. She clenched her fists on her skirt, before holding them above Lucy's stomach.

"I can at least try to heal her!" Wendy told Natsu hopefully. But she was quickly shot down by Gajeel, who grabbed her wrists before she could get her magic to her hands.

"Don't waste your magic kid. Besides, the spell will just intensify if you interfere. This spell is hellbent on making the caster's body suffer as much as it can. Bunny girl is strong, so she'll get through it. And If she can't, it would be her fault for acting so recklessly." He grumbled, dropping her hands. Wendy had tried to blink the tears back, but she couldn't stop the few that strolled down her face much like the rain.

"I'm so sorry you guys! If only I was stronger!" Wendy sobbed, digging her face in her dampened hands. Natsu glared at Gajeel while he pat Wendy's back soothing. Gajeel shrugged and crossed his arms with a scoff. Erza and Gray then appeared, having tread through part of the forest to find the rest of the group. Finally, everyone else gathered.

"What happened to Lucy?" Gray asked one of them in a panic, after seeing her unconscious form.

"She used a spell that took a lot out of her body. It'll probably be three days or so until she wakes up." Natsu told them, not breaking eye contact with her face. He couldn't help but feel guilty. If he was stronger, he wouldn't have had her to use a spell to save them. But now, the least he could do was get her out of the rain. As he was ready to pick her up, his ears picked up on a terrifyingly familiar voice.

"Ow! hey watch it!" Natsu froze as a body was dragged out by that same cat that was on the King's side. Apparently, Pantherlily's face brought joy to Gajeel. Natsu didn't even want to ask. That's when Natsu saw Lisanna. He couldn't even react properly. "I belong to Fairy Tail, these guys know me!" Lisanna said.

"We'll see about that." Pantherlily grunted, and slowly untied her. Tears pricked in the corner of her her eyes as she stood up slowly. Once her eyes landed on Natsu, a smile came to her lips. He was shocked, but managed a small one back.

"L-Lisanna...hey- oomph!" Natsu tried to say, but was smothered by Lisanna's arms around him. They crashed to the ground while she cried and held him close. Happy joined their reunion hug with a watery smile. Eventually, she was able to climb off of him. Her smile never ending as she asked about Mira and Elfman.

"I would assume they would still be at your grave." Erza said softly. More tears filled Lisanna's eyes as she nodded. Everyone then began to make their way down the hill to the guild. The rest of the guild still had no idea what they all went through. There was going to be a lot of explaining. Natsu, with the help of Wendy, got Lucy on his back.

He wanted to watch the reunion with the Strauss siblings, but it would be better if he got Lucy to the infirmary quickly. Wendy and Marie followed him in the guild. All eyes were on them as they trudged their wounded bodies to the guild's infirmary. Soon, a flood of guild members surrounded them in the infirmary, asking tons of questions. Natsu scared them off quickly, telling them he'd explain later.

Meanwhile, Erza led Lisanna to where Elfman and Mira stood. They had their backs turned to Lisanna. The youngest Strauss sibling swallowd the lump in her throat and stepped forward. The noise caused Elfman and Mira to turn around. Coming face to face with their sister, Elfman clumsily dropped his umbrella. It was quiet for a moment.

Neither one moved. Lisanna managed to wipe her tears, peering up at both of them. "Mira-nee! Elf-nii!" She laughed, running towards them. Mira and Elfman copied her movements until they were close enough to touch. Then, they embraced each other and fell to the ground with joyful tears. Erza couldn't help but cry along with them. She hadn't seen something so touching in a while. Although Gray rolled his eyes at Erza, he too was happy for the three.

The rain then miraculously cleared up. Everyone entered the guild, leaving the three to themselves and their overwhelming emotion. Erza was the one that had to explain the whole story, so that Makarov could understand more clearly. While she did that, the rest made their way to the infirmary to check on Lucy. It wasn't a surprise to see her still asleep.

"How is she doing?" Gray asked Natsu, taking a seat next to him.

"The same," he sighed. "I want to celebrate Lisanna's return, but it's hard when another member is laying unconscious and there is nothing that can be done." Natsu muttered, rubbing his kinked neck. Levy was across from him, having come in when she heard about Lucy. She held Lucy's hand and squeezed it as Lucy's eyes moved rapidly from under her eyelids.

"I really wished she hadn't used that spell. It's really unpredictable. If she had been any weaker physically, she could of died." Levy said as her eyebrows knit in worry. Natsu grit his teeth and clenched his fist. The only thing they could do was be patient and wait it out. But he hated waiting! His attention was quickly drawn to her suddenly as she let out a whimper of pain.

He stood up and left the room. He couldn't be there anymore, he just...he needed some fresh air. Thankfully, no one bothered to run after him. He was supposed to be happy dammit! His childhood friend was back from the dead and they defeated a huge enemy! So...why did he feel so crummy?

He crossed his arms in deep though as he leaned against the Fairy Tail entrance fence. Many people who passed by gave him worried looks, knowing something was seriously wrong if Natsu was thinking so hard. But Natsu couldn't bother to worry about them. He had other things on his mind at the moment. He was then brought out of his thoughts when a finger tapped his shoulder.

He turned to see Lisanna staring up at him. A smile naturally made it's way to his lips. "Hey Lis. Why're you out here? I'm sure the old man is throwing you a huge party inside." He said with a mirthless chuckle. Lisanna furrowed her brows and leaned against the fence, along with him.

"Because a certain pyro isn't there to lighten up the party," she giggled. Then, she elbowed him playfully. "Let me take a guess as to why you're pouting. It has something to do with Lucy?" She asked him with a slick smile. Natsu jumped with surprise at her accuracy, a small wave of heat traveling to his cheeks.

"What gave you that idea?" He grumbled as he turned away from her. He let out a small puff of air from his nose. She hadn't changed one bit. Lisanna was always one to take joy in teasing him. Although it was highly irritating at some times, it brought back such a nostalgic feeling. One he missed a lot.

"Oh Natsu, I've learned a lot from your counterparts in Edolas. Whenever you start thinking seriously, it's always Lucy you're thinking of. And plus, I saw her state when we reunited. She doesn't look so good." Her teasing tune died down when she thought of the hurt blonde. Ignoring the first part of what she said, he nodded.

"Yeah, while we were fighting that metal dragon, she used a spell to combine the dragon slayer's magic and transfer it into me so I could use it to destroy it. And after it was all said and done, Gajeel tells me the consequence of using that spell. The bastard." Natsu huffed.

"That sounds pretty rough. It'll be some time until she wakes up?" Lisanna questioned, her expression matching Natsu's. Back in Edolas, Lucy was her good friend. So even though this Lucy is different, she couldn't help but worry.

"Yeah. Three days. I just...wish I could do something. Seeing her in pain like that...I just had to get some fresh air for a bit." Even to him, he sounded odd. He doesn't remember ever being this troubled. Whenever he was upset, he just fought his emotions out without really having to express them. But for the first time...he didn't want to fight. He just wanted to sulk, which was so unlike him.

"Natsu, I don't like to see you this worried. Lucy will be fine I promise! You gotta have faith in her, she's super strong!" Lisanna grinned, in an attempt to boost his spirits. Hearing it from Lisanna did make him feel better. So, he pushed back the nagging feeling and gave her a toothy grin back. She was right, worrying wasn't going to make her recover faster. The best he could do and believe in Lucy's strength.

"You're right Lis! I'll put all my faith in her and she'll get better in no time!"

And she did. Three days later she woke up. She sat up and rubbed the back of her head. The infirmary was empty. Frowning, she turned to the clock next to her. Oh, that's why no one was here.

It was 3am. Lucy yawned and stretched her sore back. She felt like a train ran over her entire body. She contemplated waiting until morning to get up, considering if she just left, people might get worried when they got back to check on her. Standing up, her legs trembled pathetically before giving out entirely.

Falling down with a squeak, she brought the clock and a lamp down with her. She cringed at the noise it made. She really hoped no one was downstairs, because it was be embarrassing having someone walk in on her sprawled on the floor. Though it seemed luck wasn't on her side. The infirmary doors slammed open.

It was Natsu. She couldn't see passed the bed, but she could tell by his cinnamon scent. Natsu searched the room with a frown, he heard something from the guild's first floor. Taking a peek at Lucy's bed, he noticed how a certain blonde wasn't occupying it.

"Lucy!? Where the hell are you!?" He whispered, not expecting an answer back.

"Down here! I need a bit of help..." Lucy whined. Natsu's eyes widened as he followed the voice, briefly tripping over a chair before standing before her. He bent down and quickly grabbed her waist, setting her up in a sitting position. She scratched her cheek embarrassingly and blushed. She was thankful it was dark enough to be unnoticeable.

"What the hell were you thinking trying to stand up!" Natsu growled. Though if he was being honest with himself, he was more happy than angry. She was awake and acting normally. A tender smile, one Natsu never normally used, crawled to his face as Lucy tried to explain herself. He wasn't even listening to her, but her voice sent a wave of happiness over him. He couldn't stop himself as he embraced her.

"N-Natsu?" Lucy squeaked, stopping in the middle of her pointless rambling.

"I'm glad you're okay, Luce. You sure do know how to make a guy worry." He hummed happily. Lucy's face flamed, her arms reaching around his waist to clutch the back of his vest. She dug her nose into his shoulder and stared wordlessly at the wood flooring in front of her.

"I'm sorry..." She finally said, but it was nothing more than a whisper. But he could hear her perfectly fine. He closed his eyes and took in her scent before letting her go. He peered down into her flushed face with his signature grin.

"Its no problem Luce! You just gotta promise you'll be more careful next time." He laughed. This had Lucy giggling with a nod.

"Alright, Natsu. If that's the way it has to be, I guess I can't really go against it."

...

"Hey Lisanna," Gray asked curiously. "Can you tell us about some of our counterparts in Edolas? I just can't help but feel intrigued." Lisanna hummed before nodding. It had been a week since Lisanna was back, Lucy waking up a few days later. Things had finally died down, but Lisanna still saw this part coming. She was curious about her own counterpart at first too.

"Alright Gray. The Gray in Edolas is head over heels in love with Juvia. He bugs her constantly and continues to confess his love to her every day. He gets cold easily, which is why you'll always see him in bundles of clothing!" She laughed, gathering a crowd around her in interest. Gray was less than impressed, he seemed more embarrassed than anything. "But poor Gray, Juvia always shoots him down. But I think that just fuels his desire for her. It's cute really!"

"What about me?" Levy asked with a smile. Lisanna tapped her finger on her chin in thought for a moment. She smiled when the words came to her.

"Well, Edolas Levy is super duper smart like you, but she is violent! And she would always help us move the guild if Edolas Erza was after us, but when she wasn't doing that, she was fighing with Lucy. They hated each other and fought constantly. They were much like the Gray and Natsu here in Earthland," A smirk then decorated Lisanna's face. "And one time, I saw her walking with a mystery man. He had short curly hair with glasses. Now that I think about it, he resembled Gajeel, but without the piercings." In a faraway corner, Gajeel spit out his drink in surprise.

"I don't like how I sound. I would probably be scared of my counterpart. I'm glad I didn't meet her!" Levy whined.

"And guess what!" Lisanna continued. "Elf-nii and Mira-nee were super weak while Jet and Droy were the strongest of our guild. I guess the roles really are reversed in Earthland." Lisanna laughed.

"Hey!" Jet and Droy screamed simultaneously.

"Your Edolas counterpart was the most entertaining though, Lucy," Lisanna nodded in conclusion. "She would always have something to say to Levy and if she wasn'y trying out new techniques on people or picking a fight with Levy, she always hung around Natsu. If he had a mission, she would tag along claiming she was bored, but I knew! She had a huge crush on him, despite her scary nature. I wonder how those two are doing, you know, I was rooting for them!" Lisanna winked.

"Oh yeah?" Lucy laughed nervously, her face feeling like it was engulfed in flames.

"Yeah! It was so cute. Though I still slightly wonder how Natsu fell for her. He was the one she liked to practice those torture techniques on the most. It was funny I have to admit. He would be like, "Help me Lisanna-san, Lucy's hurting me!"" Lisanna cackled, the guild laughing along with her. Natsu slapped his forehead in embarrassment. His counterpart was honestly pathetic. "Oh but I'm sure Lucy only hurt him because she had feelings for him and didn't know what to do with them." Lisanna reassured through giggles.

"I'm not sure that makes me feels better. She sounds like a little boy hitting a girl because he liked her."

"Yeah! That's how it was. But I don't think Natsu minded that much."

"W-What!?" Natsu shouted. "Is he some kind of masochist or something!?"

Lisanna blinked for a moment. She scratched the side of her head in thought.

"Hm, maybe."
