After Raw I head back to the hotel with Nicole and Brie and we decide to go out and have some fun. I quickly put on black jeans, an electric blue blouse with black ankle boots and make my way to the lobby where I meet the girls. "Hey." I greet them.
"You look cute." they say in unison.
"God you girls freak me out sometimes."
"Get used to it honey." Brie laughs.
"So what are we doing?" Nikki asks.
"There's a bowling bar close by, so I say we have some drinks, have a couple games and just have some fun." I suggest.
"Bowling sounds great, let's do it." Brie accepts.
We arrive at STRIKE Bowling Bar and it's busy for a Monday night. We pay for our games and get our shoes and our designated lane. Once settled I purchase a couple strawberry mojtios cocktail jugs. "Bowling is probably the only thing I suck at." I lie.
"Are you saying that because you want us to think you suck or because you want us to go easy?" Brie asks.
"However you take that as, but I cannot bowl to save my life?" I lie again. "That is why I will be drinking so I can blame it on the alcohol."
"Well let's bowl ladies." Nikki says and we begin. After three games and many cocktails we are drunk and we decide to walk back to the hotel. "I haven't seen you laugh this much in a while."
"It's fun to just hang out and not worry about things." I respond.
"You lied earlier when you smashed us too."
I laugh. "I wanted to see what you would do."
"When did you get good at bowling?" Brie wonders.
"I used to be in a league when I was younger." I answer.
"How old were you?" Nikki asks.
"12."
"And you're still good." Brie compliments.
"Naturally gifted." I joke.
The next day is Smackdown. I arrive at the arena excited for my segment. I collect April's clothes and make my way to hair and make-up. I find Amy and she starts my make-up and she does it similar to how AJ has hers. Once she's finished with my hair and make-up I take a look at myself. "I suit being a brunette." I admit adjusting my brown wig.
"You do." Amy agrees.
"But I'll stick to blonde for now."
Once I'm ready I find myself in catering. I take a plate of food and sit down between Nattie and Trinity. "Hey, what's with the towel?" Trinity asks me.
"It's a surprise." I answer.
"Is it for your segment?" Nattie asks.
I nod. "Yep." I answer taking a bunch of grapes and putting them in my mouth. Jon and Renee walk by and he does a double take and cracks up. "Just watch my segment." I say aloud and he sends me a thumbs up and walks off.
Once i've had some food, I get changed and make my way to gorilla. "Hi." I say to Celeste and April.
"You're seriously going to wait till the last minute?" April laughs.
"Yep. I want everyone to be surprised. Just warning you, I look great." I tease and they both laugh as Celeste is called out. "Good luck."
Once April goes out and I take the towel off and fix up the wig. Once I'm ready I'm given the signal and I hear April's music blast.
I skip out onto the ramp dressed as AJ. "What's going on?" Cole asks confused.
I stand at the top of the ramp as everyone looks in my direction laughing. I have a mike in my hand and I twirl my hair around my fingers as AJ watches me closely. "Hi, AJ." I wave enthusiastically.
"You're so funny." AJ mutters.
"Daniel Brian, Kane, CM Punk, John Cena, Dolf Ziggler." I list. "You sure know your way around the dating game, but why am I not surprised, you used people to get to where you are." I address. "Oh and let's not forget, our own time keeper Marky Aten," I add and the crowd laughs. AJ begins to shake her head. "Don't worry, it's okay to date, but not that many, I mean you jumped from guy to guy, I was just wondering have you been checked?"
"Ahaha." both JBL and Cole laugh with the crowd.
"Let's hope you're clean for next week, I wouldn't want to catch anything, oh but don't worry Kaitlyn, just be mindful of where you put your hands." I tease as AJ starts to lose it. "Anyway, get this match under way, please don't stop on my account, I just wanted to wish you good luck."
The referee rings the bell and AJ looks to between me and Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn and AJ run at each other and Kaitlyn ducks and rolls AJ up and puts her into a head lock. AJ counters by moving her legs and locking her legs around Kaitlyn's neck to switch positions.
AJ stares at me evilly as I continue to twirl my hair and smile. Kaitlyn quickly kips up and they run at each other again. Kaitlyn kicks AJ in the stomach and delivers a suplex. Kaitlyn goes to deliver another but AJ counters and pulls Kaitlyn down to the ground by her hair.
AJ evilly turns to face me and I just smile and twirl my hair and start to skip down the ramp. I make my way around the ring twirling my hair smiling. "That's not funny Sarah, not funny, you're not funny." AJ screams following me as I skip around.
This causes her to get distracted and Kaitlyn rolls her up and pins her. "1, 2 and 3." and the referee rings the bell.
I stand at the bottom of the ramp smiling and twirling my hair. AJ is shocked and angry and screams at the referee. This allows me to sneak up behind her and deliver The SarahStabber and the crowd cheers loudly. "Sarah with The SarahStabber." Cole winces as I raise my arms in the air.
I grab a microphone and kneel down next to AJ. "Next time you'll think twice about interrupting me, I can easily distract you and better, so watch your back."
After the show is finished we head back to the hotel and quickly check out as we have to get on the road for the next city, Salt Lake City.
We arrive in Salt Lake and decide to have dinner with the cast of Total Divas and do some more filming. For dinner tonight I'm wearing a pale peach shirt with black skinny jeans and black ankle boots. To finish off the look I put on a black leather jacket.
We arrive at a local restaurant and get some drinks. "How was your drive?" Trinity asks us.
"Long." I answer.
"Yeah, at least this week we get to fly to Philly for Money in the Bank."
"That's a good thing."
The next morning is the start of a new week. 6 days until Money in the Bank. Brie, Nicole and I arrive at the arena and pile into the locker room. I notice April in the far corner and set up my stuff next to her. "Hey." I greet.
"Hey." She says.
"6 days."
"I know, it's going to be a great match, highly entertaining and painful."
"Yes it will."
Once we are unpacked we all head to our weekly meeting with Mark and Jane. "Hello ladies." Jane greets us.
"Hi." We all respond.
"As you're all aware, Money in the Bank is this Sunday and most of you will be heading straight to Philly after Mainevent and Smackdown." Mark begins.
"Tonight is the contract signing between Sarah and AJ to make the match official." Jane announces. "There will be words said but the segment will end with a brawl."
"Cool." April expresses.
"There is also a match tonight too which will be Natalya vs Naomi." Mark finishes.
Once I'm ready; my hair is tight curls and for my makeup, I've gone for a bold smokey eye with blue and silver eye shadow and silver gems. Once I'm glammed; I put my gear on which is a a dark blue, white and and black set with a crop top and shorts.
Halfway through the show I'm given the call to make my way to gorilla. I arrive and find April. "Hey." I greet.
"You look hot." She expresses.
"Thanks."
"Ladies and gentleman, right now we will be making the Divas Championship match offical." Jerry begins as he stands in the middle of the ring in front of a covered table. "So let's get this under way and introduce the two ladies that will be fighting." Jerry suggests. "First up, the challenger, AJ Lee." He announces and AJ's music starts and the crowd boo loudly as she skips out. She pauses and starts to skip down the ramp and around the ring. "And lastly, the Divas Champion, Sarah." Jerry finishes and my music starts.
I walk out to a huge cheer from the crowd with my title around my waist. I walk down the ramp and jump up on the apron and blow a kiss to the crowd. "I wonder if this is a good idea to have these two woman in the ring right now?" Cole worries.
"Okay ladies let's get this under way." Jerry says. "AJ before you sign, is there anything you would like to say before this is set in stone?"
AJ picks up a microphone. "I'll give you props for upstaging me on Smackdown, but don't let it get in your pretty little head, because that is the last time you will ever do that to me." AJ declares. "This Sunday that title is coming back where it belongs, and there is nothing or no one that will stop me from getting it back." AJ promises placing the mike down and signs the contract.
Jerry then turns to me as I take in what AJ has just said and I smirk as I swing in my chair. "Sarah is there anything you'd like to say?" He asks me.
"Oh Jerry I always have something to say." I retort and the crowd chuckles. "The thing that I find funny is that you think you're actually going to take this title from me." I chuckle amused. "Oh, AJ, my sweet crazy psychopath, listen up and listen good, you can try, try, and try and try some more, but you'll never take this title from me." I enforce. "This title is in the arms of someone that is deserving and I'm not letting this go. The only way you'll get this from me, is if you pry it from my cold dead hands." I exclaim and quickly sign the contract.
"Alright ladies this contract signing is over, shake hands and we can go be done." Jerry advises.
I step closer and stick my hand out. "Come on AJ, I won't bite." I taunt.
She goes to shake my hand but slaps me across the face and the crowd. "Oohs." I hold my cheek and look to the crowd and send them a grin and I instantly lay a hard right onto AJ and leap over the table and tackle her to the ground."What a shot by Sarah." JBL shouts.
We roll over the top of each other and I end up on top and start laying in punches. We eventually roll out of the ring and referees pull us apart. "Let me go." I shriek. They let go hesitantly and I leap at AJ again and tackle her down and start unloading on her some more.
The crowd love it and start chanting. "Let them fight, let them fight, let them fight."
The referees pull us apart and I get dragged back in the ring and they release me. I quickly grab a mike. "You just made a huge mistake." I shout. "On Sunday, I'm going to put you on the bench." I declare and the crowd cheers excitedly.
After our segment we head back to the locker room. "Girls your segments are so entertaining, we are constantly glued to the screen." Trinity praises.
"Thanks it's fun being a bitch." I respond.
"Ditto." April agrees laughing.
A knock is heard at the door and Ariane answers it. A female worker walks inside carrying a box. I recognise it straight away and my heart sinks. I hesitantly retrieve the box and I immediately shut down. "Oh god." I whisper. "It's from him." I alert as Nattie and Nicole move to comfort me. I slowly open the lid and when I do I jump up screaming. The girls run over to me as I place the box down and sink to the ground. "Omg, omg."
"What is it?" Nicole asks concerned kneeling down to me.
"Cccckroaches." I stutter. "I hate them, t-there my biggest phobia. Hhhe knew and I, omg I cant omg he's seriously trying to get to me."
"Get Jane and Stephanie." Nattie orders and Brie leaves.
Trinity closes the lid and I lean against the wall trying not to have a panic attack. "Whys he doing this to me?"
"We don't know, but you're safe, we're all here and we aren't leaving your side." Nikki reassures hugging me.
"I want, I want, this to be over."
"We know babe." Brie whispers.
I'm still crying when the door opens and Jane and Stephanie walk in. Stephanie immediately gets down to my level and I don't need to speak for her to know that I'm not ok. She hugs me tightly. "We'll get him, we'll find him." She whispers.
"How?" I question.
"We'll try harder." Stephanie whispers. "Jane take the box and give it to the authorities and they can get rid of it. Do you remember anything before you opened the box?"
"Ariane answered the door and a female worker delivered it. She gave it to me and left." I relay stuttering. "I immediately knew that it was from Adam because it's the same packaging. I slowly opened it and found the cockroaches. I don't, I don't know why he's doing this to me, what did I do wrong?"
"You did absolutely nothing wrong. This Adam Bright is a sick twisted son of a bitch and we're going to get him." Stephanie promises. "Can you stand?"
"Is it gone?" I ask looking around worried.
"Yes the box is gone." she answers and I nod and begin to stand up.
Stephanie helps me out of the locker room with the help from the girls who are carrying my bags. When we get to the corridor Colby, Joe and Jon walk around the corner and they see me in a wreck. "Serena, I'm giving you the week off, we are going to fly you home on our jet." Steph informs me. "Can someone get her stuff."
"It's right here." April says.
"What happened?" Joe asks worried.
"Adam." Brie answers.
"What did he do?" Colby asks.
"Cockroaches." April answers. I jolt a little and Stephanie and Brie calm me down.
"Do you need a hand?"
"Could you carry her to the car?" Stephanie asks.
He immediately bends down and scoops me up in his arms. At this moment I'm not paying attention and I curl up and hide in his chest. "Is she going to be okay?" Jon asks worried.
"We are giving her the week off to clear her head."
"How is she getting home?" Joe asks.
"On the company jet."
Colby helps me into the car and I look up at him. "Are you going to be okay?" He asks me.
I shrug. "I don't know."
"I've called her friend Anna, she will be at the airport to pick her up." Nicole informs Stephanie.
"I just want to go home." I whisper to Colby.
"We'll get you home." he whispers.
I arrive in Tampa a few hours later and I'm picked up from the airport by Anna. I crash into her arms and start sobbing and she soothes me as we walk to her car.
She helps me out of my clothes and into a warm shower. She settles me into bed and hugs me. "It's going to be okay Rena." she whispers.
