Randall felt a massive headache when waking up, and something attached to his belly. "Ugh, what… happened?" He mumbled before remembering that awful gas, making him wince from a headache. He glanced down at his belly, seeing a metal thing latched around him.

"Huh?" Randall questioned, tugging, but it wouldn't come off. Whatever Sevarius and Thailog were doing, this thing didn't look pleasant. But then Sevarius suddenly came along again with a little grin.

"And how did you sleep? Sorry about the shackle but it is for protocol. Perhaps before we bring you in to draw blood, I can test it…" Randall didn't like where this was headed, tugging on the shackle to take it off before he could try to escape. But the doctor just narrowed his eyes, pressing a button. Randall suddenly felt a pressure on his middle. He glanced down at seeing the shackle actually squeezing him! He gasped aloud, letting go and focusing on hugging his belly.

Sevarius smirked. "Bet that didn't feel too pleasant, hm? And I'm sorry to say you won't have any food for a day or so before we draw blood. Don't want you to get sick."

Randall growled. "I'll already be sick if I can't eat! And I wouldn't touch your cursed food!" He snapped back, but then he felt the constriction of the shackle again, making him cringe and flinch, lowering himself to the floor.

"So disrespectful, Lizard. We will soon show you who's the superior ones here. You are just an experiment for me and Thailog, nothing more. Get cozy until we bring you in!" He mocked as he left, though he pressed the button once more.

Randall whimpered again, already feeling his belly rumble for food. But he would never eat food from an enemy, no matter how hungry he got. The best he could do was curl into the corner to think about other things besides his hunger to help him make it through the other days.

….

Meanwhile, Sevarius and Thailog met with one another. "And what would our plans be for this lizard of ours, Thailog?"

Thailog gave a smile. "I plan to steal his DNA for our special project, a new loyal clone. He shall be smart, but no higher than I. I will still implant the Obey Thailog protocol into the clone's brain to ensure he knows who he's working for."

Sevarius gave a grin. He liked that. "As long as he serves us well it shouldn't be a problem. And the clone's doner will be most generous too."

Thailog nodded. "As well as the shackle keeping him under our control." He pressed the button again.

In his cell, Randall had been woken by the shackle tightening once more. He whimpered, wondering what the whole deal was anyway with this thing on him. Maybe to threaten him or mess with his pain. Randall felt his scratches which had somewhat stopped bleeding, recalling that awful day. He looked down, feeling mad more at himself for not telling them sooner.

Would Brooklyn still come to save him if he knew where Randall was? He highly doubted now, thinking Brook hated him. He curled his body up again, stomach not done growling since day one. He was gonna get his blood taken tomorrow and wasn't looking forward to that.

"Please, somebody get me out of here!" sobbed Randall, staring at the door, hoping for rescue or food.

But then Thailog arrived, having some food with him but eating it. Randall stared in longing, his belly hurting from not eating. Thailog grinned at him. "Bet you want this?" Randall couldn't help himself but nod, though he backed into his corner, still not wanting to eat anything from his enemies despite his cravings. "Well, you won't get it. It will interrupt the sleep drug and you won't get food any time after that."

He ate an apple and Randall's stomach growled again. "The doctor and I still plan to keep you for our little project, until the time comes for you to be put down…"

That made Randall pale up. He didn't wish to die anytime soon or be a pawn in these crazy characters' schemes! "Y-you won't get away with this!" He stuttered, only to feel the shackle squeeze him again. Randall choked up slightly, stomach roaring again.

Thailog just cackled. "Enjoy daydreaming your escape all you want, but there's no hope for you after betraying the only friends who took you in." Randall bared his teeth while trying to ignore the constriction. "No, s-stop it…" he croaked, lying on the floor.

Thailog just laughed. "Only one more night until you give your blood to us for the project. Try to bask in your moments of solitude while you still can!" He sneered, walking away, and leaving Randall there panting up a storm, wanting his stomach to settle down, the shackle loosening.

He was usually pretty tough, but this was all too overwhelming for the poor lizard monster to handle, hoping a kind soul would deliver him from this torture and hell. He curled up again, crying himself to sleep once more.
