Today is a big day. I have therapy with Julie and then Phoebe is taking me out tonight. I make my way to Julies office and take a seat inside. "So we've been talking a lot about your childhood, your farther's death, your mothers problems, and how you're working on building your relationship with her." She reviews. "I want to talk about your life before your accident."

"Where do you want me to start?" I ask.

"Start when you first arrived in WWE, who did you meet first?"

"I started down in developmental at the beginning of the year and got called up towards the end of March and debuted after Wrestlmania." I respond. "I met a lot of people down in developmental, but joining the cast of Total Divas, allowed me to from some strong bonds right off the bat, like Nattie, Brie and Nicole."

"Did they guide you around?"

"Yes, they helped me along the way, we started training together, travelling together, and I love them dearly."

"Did you meet any male colleagues."

"Yes."

"Who?"

"Nattie introduced me to a guy and when I first saw him I got butterflies."

"So you thought he was good looking?"

"Yes."

"Any other men that you liked or liked you?"

"There was a colleague of mine that everyone warned me about."

"Who?"

"Randy Orton." I identify. "He introduced himself to me, but I immediately got bad vibes from him, so I kept my distance from him, but he kept bumping into me, he wanted to work with me, eventually he asked me out but I declined, he didn't seem to like that."

"Was he harassing you?"

"Yes, but not in a harmful way, in an annoying way, he would turn up wherever I went, when I was with friends or with the my guy friends." I explain.

"And did he know that you didn't like him?"

"I told him straight up that I didn't like him."

"I'm guessing he didn't take that well."

"No. He followed me to my hotel room one night but I reported him and I haven't had any trouble since."

"Good, now back to this guy you like what's his name?"

"Colby." I blush.

"You more than just like him."

"I don't know what it is, but we clicked straight away and when we talk it's so easy, I don't have to try."

"What was stopping you from being with him?"

"His girlfriend."

"How did that make you feel?"

"Jealous." I admit.

"Could you not stop thinking about him?" She asks.

"I couldn't get him out of my head." I confirm. "Whenever he'd approach me I'd get butterflies."

"Sounds like you really liked him."

"I think I still do, I probably always will."

"Have you met the girlfriend?"

"Yes and she is a bitch."

She chuckles. "And how did you act when she was around?"

"People could tell I didn't like her, she knew that too, the only one that didn't was Colby."

"What did she think of you?"

"She knew I liked him."

"What happened next I can sense a major incident."

"A couple weeks prior to my injury I was walking backstage and I found his girlfriend and Randy whispering quite closely to one another."

"The same Randy that was following you?"

"Yes. At first I thought I was seeing things but they disappeared down a hallway, so I followed them and he lead her into a room and about an hour later they came out dishevelled, so I took photos as evidence."

"You wanted to tell Colby?"

"I don't like cheaters and even though I liked Colby I didn't want him to get hurt."

"Did you tell anyone what you saw?"

"I told his best friend and he told me to let it go."

"You ended up telling him." She guesses.

"I did up and it didn't go well."

"What happened?"

"He made it out like I was trying to brake up his relationship and he said some hurtful things, and I lost it."

"Is that when you started the drugs to drown the pain?" She asks.

"Yes. I was hurt and I didn't want to feel anymore. So I hid behind the drugs, I'd rock up to work happy, or my mood would change dramatically, I was quite frankly rude to everyone."

"Did you know what you were doing was hurting you?"

"At the time I just didn't want to feel, but I knew deep down what I was doing was wrong, and when everyone confronted me about my change of behaviour they made me see sense."

"Who called you out?"

"Everyone, Nattie, Brie, Nicole, Celeste, April, Colby, Jon and Joe to name a few."

"What happened when they confronted you?" She asks.

"I denied it at first, even tried to leave, but they weren't going to let me leave that room until they made me see sense."

"Did they?"

"Yes." I answer. "That morning I rocked up to work feeling good. I spent the week with my mum, it was really nice."

"When your friends were talking to you, did you open up and tell them how you felt?"

"I ended up blurting everything out."

"Then what happpend?"

"They helped clean myself up and get ready for my match, and after the show I was going to get help."

She smiles. "I'm glad you were going to do that."

"I had to."

"How did it feel to get that all out in the open?"

"It felt good, just like last week with talking about my mother, I feel relieved."

"That's good to hear Serena you are doing extremely well."

"Thanks Julie."

"Now that is enough for today. Get some rest and enjoy your night tonight." She wishes.

"How do you know about that?" I ask confused.

"I have to give permission to see if you are well enough to leave."

"And am I?"

"I'm letting you out aren't I?" she grins.

After a nap I quickly get ready for my night out. I put on a peach cardigan with light denim jeans and brown ankle boots. My hair is in curls and I have a light layer of makeup on. At 8, I hear a knock at my door. I answer it and its Phoebe. "Hi." I greet.

"Hey you look great." She compliments.

"Thank you, I love those pants."

"Thanks. You ready?"

"Let's go."

"Considering that you're new to Atlanta, I am going to be your personal tour guide." She mentions.

"A personal tour guide, not to bad." I chuckle. "Maybe you should make a side hustle out of it, you'd get a ton of fans wanting that."

"Don't tempt me, I might pitch it to Paul."

We drive and pull in to town and park outside a pub. We enter and instantly people start noticing Phoebe and some have to do a double take and they recognise me. We make our way to the back of the pub and take a seat. I grab one of the menus and flick through it. "Real food." I say eagerly.

She laughs. "It's like you've been in prison and you've just been released."

"It's not funny, I've been bundled up in that room for so long, I needed an escape."

A waiter comes over and we order some food and drinks. "So a wrestler like yourself, must have to watch what they eat?"

"Yes, but right now I don't have to worry so much."

"Do you miss it?"

"Yes, it's been my dream ever since I was little and I made it and just when I was becoming the face of the division, I got injured."

"You'll get all of that back."

"I will but I want to use this time to heal first."

"So it's scripted?" She questions.

"As you might know, kayfabe is dead and everything is predetermined." I confirm. "We have a creative team who write our storylines. Some of the stuff we do is improv but about 90% of it is written for us."

"Were you a little shy at first?"

"Definitely. I was in promos with veterans and male superstars that have been there for years, but with practice and time my confidence grew."

"Promos are when people speak right?"

"Yes. They are little clips or segments used throughout the show to build up a match or feud."

"So you have to wrestle and act at the same time?"

I nod. "Yep, so I'm doing twice as much as you."

"So your match at Payback, was that your first ever championship?"

"Yes. I've wrestled for small indy companies but I have never won a championship, so the match I had in my hometown was a huge accomplishment for me."

"I saw that match, it was incredible."

"Thanks it's was one of my favourites."

"So if they told you to lose a match some way would you?"

"Yes. If that is what they are wanting and it adds intrigue to the storyline." I respond. "It's all about storytelling and every person part of that story needs to have an edge in some way."

"And your last two title matches they were against AJ and Brie?"

"Yes."

"Are all you ladies close?"

"Like sisters."

"If WWE told you to drop a title would you?"

"Yes. If that's what they want, then yes. ." I answer. "I'm not going to have the title forever, and when that day comes, it will be against someone that WWE wants as a champion and can lead the division." I explain. "WWE's creative team have great ideas for us, and they like to give us pushes, and from those, they see if they can handle the pressure, they see if the crowd are behind them or have a lot of heat, and then they decide if they can be champion."

"Who's your favourite wrestler?"

"The Rock."

She smirks. "Same."

"I love Triple H too." I add.

"The feuds in the 2000s were awesome."

"They were and that was back in the day where kayfabe was alive, and everything was a little more extreme and a little more vulgar."

"The reactions that The Rock and Stone Cold got were insane."

"They were."

"So why is the Rock your all time favourite?"

"I loved his presence when he was out there, you couldn't look away." I reply. "His promo's were always so charismatic and engaging, he just knew what to do and say every time he was out there." I continue. "Also his crowd reactions were insane and there is no one even close on the roster nowadays."

"But it sounds like you're pretty likeable though." She mentions.

"Yes because I'm a face and people love me." I joke.

"Would you ever want to be a heel?"

"Definitely."

"Do you think you ever will be?"

"Down the line I think so. It will be great character development."

"Who's your favourite woman's wrestler then?"

"Trish Stratus, Lita and Chyna." I list off. "They really made an impact on woman's wrestling and they weren't afraid to put their bodies on the line and get in the ring with the guys."

"Have you accomplished that in some way?"

"Not even a little bit. I've had some segments and confrontations with some superstars though."

"That's was when you first arrived right? With Team Hell No and The Shield."

I smile. "You're a fan aren't you." I tease and she playfully hits my good arm.

"Those Shield guys wow." She whistles.

I let out a laugh. "I agree with you there."

"You actually hit Dean Ambrose with a chair."

"Five times I think."

"Would you ever work with those guys again?"

"Yes to The Shield and Team Hell No, but not Randy."

"Why?"

"Because he wouldn't take no for an answer." I respond.

"So he was harassing you?"

"Yes."

We leave the restaurant and start to walk the busy streets. Whilst outside more people have noticed us and they start to follow us. After losing the crowd we find a nice spot to sit in a park. "Thank you for taking me out tonight, it was fun getting chased by fans." I joke.

"It was." She agrees laughing.

"So how long have you been with Paul?"

"Nearly a year. I guess when you work around someone and start to form a connection it just works."

"He sounds like a great guy."

"What about you, any man in your life?"

"I'm just focusing on myself right now. I was so caught up in my feelings this year, it took its toll on me, so I'm taking a step back."

"What do you mean?"

"I really liked someone, and I think he really liked me, but there was a major issue."

"What?"

"His girlfriend."

"And you'd never go there."

"There was a moment one night where we shared something between us just before my breakdown, but things happened and now I'm here." I respond. "So right now, I'm working on myself."

"Smart decision." She praises. "So when you told me your injury wasn't an accident, what happened?"

"After I left home, I moved in with a friend and she had an older brother and now that I can actually come out and say it, he raped me."

"OMG did you report it?" She asks.

I shake my head. "I was truly damaged after I left home. Who would have believed me? It was my word against his, so I pretended like it never happen."

"You realise how bad that is?"

"I do, but at the time I just wanted to move on with my life, so I ignored it. But days after that party my best friend kicked me out of her house because her brother told people that I was an easy lay and my life turned upside down more.

"What happened after that?"

"A very good friend of mine to this day, found me and took me in and I turned my life around."

"I'm so sorry you had to go through that." She apologises.

"Thanks. As soon as I was 18, I moved to Tampa to work on my career so I left everything in my past behind me."

"I'm guessing your past followed you once you made it to WWE?"

"After a month or so being on tv I started receiving packages and letters from an anonymous fan." I respond. "At first I thought it was a fan, but the packages started to get freaky and I realised I had a stalker. He always knew where I was, and it freaked me out."

"That must have been hard for you."

"It was but one day we caught the person on camera at one of the hotels. We found out it was Adam, the guy who raped me." I announce. "When I found out I got scared and all the memories came flooding back."

"What happened after that?"

"I was cautious of everything, the last time he gave me a something was before Money in the Bank." I respond. "It was Adam who pushed me off the ring post. It happened so fast I couldn't protect myself and I landed on my neck and shoulder."

"Did they catch him?"

"Yes he is rotting in jail." I confirm.

"Good." She sighs. "You went through so much, no wonder you were so troubled."

"I'm better though, after my friends confronted me, I was going to get help, but I guess Adam took that into his own hands, but it's over now, so I can focus on getting better."

"You should be proud of yourself."

"I am."

I walk into my room later that evening and get into my pjs and climb into bed. I turn my phone on and I have numerous messages from friends. I open twitter and see several feeds:

- WWESarah spotted out on the town.

- SarahWWE

- Phoebe Tonkin star of The Originals seen with WWE Diva Sarah.

I blink a couple times and there are thousands of tweets about Phoebe and I. My phone buzzes and it's a message from Colby: You look beautiful x

I read it and my heart flutters. Damn you Colby Lopez! I quickly respond: Thank you Colby. I'm grateful for you x

Another text pop up it's from Phoebe: I just saw twitter and my god people can be creative with tweets.

I laugh: That's what happens when you're around me, you get noticed.

Haha, so funny.
