N/Attention, read the end of the previous chapter, this has been changed. and I'll be honest, in many chapters I rushed writing and just wrote, and rereading some things bothered me. so after much thought, I'm going to rewrite a few things. Some have remained the same, others will have drastic changes. You will understand more when I update. Because yes, this story is alive and yes, I will dedicate myself to the chapters and try to pay attention to holes or exaggerations. Thanks for reading and still staying here, until the next chapter :)
lirg123: You're right, and actually, rereading some things I noticed some mistakes and holes in the story, so I'm dedicating myself to correcting that because the way it was going, it would really give some continuity problems.
Immortal Potato: Thank you, and I hope I don't disappoint in the next chapters, which will have a lot of action.
hetalia 1119: I can't give too much spoiler, because I'm writing some things but the light will definitely be more present in future chapters. And kid flash calls she that because... well, you'll find out, all I can say is that Faora is going to show a lot of her fury.
(PHANTON ZONE, four years ago)
The phantom zone was frighteningly strange. Vivid but inverted colors, full of beings banished and forgotten after the destruction of Krypton.
But no one can hurt anyone without them thinking about it, without imagining that it can cause them pain. Something useful, but usable. Faora and her warriors had been wandering around for a while, until they landed on a floating rock and stayed there.
Her thoughts kept going back to the last few moments when she and her warriors were forced into this terrible imprisonment. Even with the Portkey, they couldn't create one without the equipment. She was foolish to think she could trust Batman, or Lex. She was stupid and it cost her everything. Your companions, your friends, your freedom and your pride.
But she'll fix that, even if she has to break Kal el's neck with her bare hands.
She knows the league was necessary, that they are the defense of the land. But the land is not her home anymore, and those are no longer her people, not her allies. She sought justice and it cost her her freedom, it made her feel betrayed, as they, the league, prevented her from completing her mission: kill Lex luthor...
She'll do that too, she'll make them understand, even if it's force. She had taken revenge.
Even if it costs him what humanity he has left.
/
His face was smeared with dirt and blood, his body full of bruises and bruises. She noticed two broken ribs, a cloth tied around it and bloodstained on his torso and his leg bones were cracked as he was recovering. His uniform was now technological, armor riddled with cuts and dents, the bat mask with a rip near his cheek.
The fortress of solitude around it was huge
Faora held up her hands to her warriors in a signal to wait, they went quiet and she looked at Batman. Feeling some of the kryptonite in his belt, she lowered her eyes and then raised them. "You didn't release us for no reason." She said. "Say it."
Batman glared at her. "The league has been crippled."
"And you turned to us." She tilted her head curiously. "You must be desperate. You stopped us from having our justice. You must already know that we are more than angry with you and your little group, so why take the risk?"
"A common enemy." Batman said and Faora thought briefly that he was referring to Luthor until he continued. "The land has been invaded by Daxamites."
The name of this race made its warriors let out a disgusted sound. She narrowed her eyes, an expression of disgust and hate on her face. "Those animals..."
"I can't fight them or get on their ships without support. They are strong, not as strong as Kryptonians but they are numerous, very numerous." He said and Faora looked around the fortress of loneliness.
She would kill Daxamites for free, she hates them. They are a race of proud and greedy barbarians, and cowards too, some of whom must have fled the planet Daxam before its destruction, likely leaving billions to die alone. Knowing the Nobility of Daxam, she understood well the rift between Krypton and Daxam. One planet of honorable and courageous beings, another a planet of barbarians and arrogant. But she wants something in return for that help.
She looked back at Batman and narrowed her eyes. "We'll help each other out, but... there's one condition." She said.
"No." He looked at her seriously. "Either help me, or I'll send you back to the ghost zone."
She doesn't doubt it, not least because the machine is right behind them and he's got enough kryptonite for her to feel the effects even though they're ten feet away, the veins in his body forming a little.
"You can, but you'll be helpless and if you came to us..." She felt her lips curl into a smirk. "You must be out of options."
Batman narrowed his eyes. "I'll find other options then."
"None of them will be more useful than us, that's for sure." She said with complete conviction, even though there are many powerful beings in the universe, on earth, his allies who could be useful must be really unwell if he sought them out, or maybe he doesn't know all the options yet." We are beings created for the war, Kryptonian warriors with years and years of experience. We are a force you can use, are you really going to waste us?"
" What you want?" Batman finally asked.
"You already know what I want." And as if on a summons, he came out from behind a steel door. Wearing green armor, big and tall. Lex luthor's face smiled behind the helmet and glass. How did she not notice him? Kryptonite is definitely messing with her senses.
" You." She growled and took a step forward until she saw the green glow in the middle of Luthor's armor chest and stopped, eyes narrowing even more and hands fisted.
Lex smiled. "Unfortunately he couldn't give it to me, although I would make a fantastic gift." He looked down at his chest and then at her, the smile widening. "You really didn't think I'd come here without any means of protecting myself, did you?"
Faora wanted to rip his jaw off, tear him apart, piece by piece.
"You will help us and then you will be free to go, but you must never return to Earth, Will do nothing else or go back to the phantom zone." Batman spoke. "Do we have your word?" Batman dared to ask.
She looked at him with hidden hatred. Honor, she won't let them take that away from her either, but still... "Fulfill yours word, and we'll fulfill ours." She lifts her chin.
Secondary objective. Eliminate the despicable race of Daxamites.
Mainly aim to kill Lex Luthor as soon as there is a breach.
She knew well her warriors were in agreement with that and she glanced over her shoulder with a look of order, the answer was a sharp nod and she looked back at Batman and then Lex Luthor.
"We'll help." She didn't say that if they betray them, they'll pay with their lives.
They won't take their freedom, not again.
It's no longer about justice, now it's about revenge. For all they've done.
When least expected...
