Tonight is the Hall of Fame ceremony and its going to be the first one that I get to attend, which i'm looking forward to as Lita is getting inducted.
So Brie, Nicole, April and I got pampered throughout the day. We get fresh tans, I even have time to get my hair done with fresh blonde highlights and extensions too.
Once back in my hotel room I take out my make up and my dress from its dress bag and put it on.
My dress is an electric red floor length lace dress with cut off sleeves at the shoulders and has a red underlay to enhance the lace that shows some skin. To finish off the look I put on silver glitter stilettos and accessories with a matching clutch.
I quickly refresh my hair with and pin my hair to the side with bobby pins. I then do my make up and I've gone for a bold red glittery smokey eye with false lashes.
Once I'm ready I walk out of the bathroom and find April fixing up herself in the mirror. "What do you think?" I ask as she hasn't seen me yet.
She turns around and her jaw drops. "OMG you look stunning." She compliments.
"Thanks, you look beautiful too." I retort.
"You ready?"
"Sure am. I'm so excited, this is my first Hall of Fame."
"I'm warning you, they tend to drag on."
"Thanks for the warning." I chuckle. "Ready to go?"
"Let's go." She confirms.
She quickly takes a photo of me and I upload it to Instagram: Hall of Fame ready! #WWEHOF
We walk outside to the limo that is waiting for us. Inside is Nikki and Brie and their respective partners. "Hi." I greet them all.
"Hi." they all retort.
"You look beautiful." Brie compliments.
I smile. "You too."
"April, you look stunning." Nikki adds.
"Thanks." she responds.
"Are you ready for your first Hall of Fame?" Nikki asks me.
I nod. "I am."
We arrive at the arena and make our way to the entrance. We follow the line of people waiting to get in and as we enter there are multiple media outlets standing to the side waiting to interview people and take photos.
As I'm waiting to talk to AfterBuzz TV, I notice a familiar face walk in, Colby. I instantly get butterflies. He looks handsome. He's dressed in a tailored suit, his hair is straightened and pulled back into a low bun. His gaze lands on mine and he gasps. I send him a shy smile and turn back to my interviewer.
Eventually I make my way to Michael Cole and Maria Menounous and I'm given the signal.
"Ladies and Gentleman, joining us live on the WWE Hall of Fame Red Carpet is, Sarah." Michael announces.
"Hi Michael." I greet.
"Welcome back."
"Thank you, it's good to be back."
"How's your recovery been?" Maria asks.
"It's been long but I've had many people by my side through it all." I respond.
"So this is your first Hall of Fame right?"
"It is." I confirm.
"Who are you most excited to see?" Michael asks.
"Lita." I answer. "She's one of the wrestlers that made me want to be one. She had a badass attitude and her in ring skills were undeniable and she wasn't afraid to put her body on the line."
"It sounds like you looked up to her."
"I idolised her."
"So Sarah, a question on everyone's mind, when will fans get to see you back in the ring?" Maria asks.
"Sooner than later."
"That seems to be giving everyone a clue." Michael comments.
"Maybe."
"You're all healed?" Maria asks.
"I'm healed and I'm stronger than ever." I confirm. "I've been training harder, changed up a few things and once I'm back in that ring I'll be unstoppable."
"Last question, who do you think will win the divas championship tomorrow?" Michael asks.
"I think it's going to change hands tomorrow. It's time for AJ to be knocked off her throne." I answer strongly.
"Thank you you for talking to us and we hope to see you in the ring soon." Maria finishes and I walk off.
After my interview I take a seat in my assigned seat and coincidently it's about ten seats away from The Shields. I watch as Jon, Joe and his wife Galina and Colby sit talking amongst each other.
Jon turns his head in my direction and notices me and he sends me a wave. The action is noticed by them all and they turn their heads in my direction. I stand up and make my way over to them. "Gentlemen." I greet and turn to greet Galina. "Oh my god, Galina you look beautiful."
"As do you Serena." She replies hugging me.
I then glance over all the guys. "Wow you guys dress up well."
"Oh stop." They joke.
"Are you excited for your first hall of fame?" Joe asks.
"I am."
"You look beautiful." Colby compliments.
I blush. "Thanks. I better get back to my seat, I just wanted to say hi before the ceremony starts."
"See you around then." Joe smiles.
Eventually the ceremony starts and I sit and listen to all the amazing speeches. I was very eager to listen to Litas and boy did she have some interesting stories. The ceremony continues and before I know it The Ultimate Warrior is being inducted and the ceremony ends.
April and I make our way outside. "Thanks for being a fun date." I thank.
"Back at you. Did you enjoy yourself?"
"I did and I'm even more ready for tomorrow."
"Tomorrow is going to be crazy."
"It will."
Whilst waiting for our car I notice waiting in line about ten meters from us; Jon, Renee and Colby. Colby looks up and meets my gaze. A smile forms on his face and I return it and feel those butterflies again. As I get into the car, I quickly glance back at him and see he's still watching me, I send him one last smile and get in the car.
The next day I wake up with a huge grin on my face. It's Wrestlemania and I finally get to live my life long dream of having a match at Wrestlemania.
I get out of bed and put on my workout clothes as April and I decide to have a last minute training session.
After our workout we quickly return to our hotel room for a shower and get changed. I put on a white dress with short sleeves and red heels.
We arrive at Mercedes Benz Superdome and already tens of thousands of fans are lining up. I start to feel nervous and I haven't even started to get ready yet.
I make my way inside and walk into Nikki. She pulls me to the side and smiles. "How do you feel?" she asks me quietly.
I send her a smile. "Every emotion you can think of. I'm just worried about everyone's reactions."
"Don't think about that. We all are having a moment out there, so go out there and kill it."
"Thanks Nikki." I thank.
"Dont mention it. Now go find Jane and Mark." She directs and I walk off.
I find Jane and Mark. "Big day today, are you ready?" Jane asks.
"Yes, but I'm feeling every emotion you can think of right now." I admit.
"That is completely normal, but you're going to do great." Mark reassures.
"Now as practiced in rehearsals, you will go under the stage and will rise up from the ramp for your entrance." Jane explains.
"You will have your hoody on over your gear and once you are standing, your music will start and you'll reveal yourself." Mark continues.
"This will happen right after Vicki announces the last person in the match." Jane finishes. "Now go get ready and remember to have fun tonight."
I find Amy and she begins to work her magic. "First Wrestlemania how are you feeling?" She asks.
"Scared, excited, happy." I list.
"On the plus side you'll be looking hot though."
"True." I laugh.
After my hair is in curls flowing beautifully down my back, she starts on my make-up. My make up for tonight is a pink and purple shimmery smokey eye with false lashes.
Once she finishes she turns me around to face the mirror. "Welcome back Sarah." She grins.
"Thanks for everything Amy." I thank.
"Don't mention it." she says hugging me. "Sandra will be here with your gear soon, just hang tight."
A little while later someone knocks at the door. I open it and Sandra is on the other side. "Hi." I greet hugging her.
"You look beautiful." She compliments.
"Thanks. I finally get to be myself again."
"I have your gear." she says pulling it out of the dress bag.
I gasp. "Omg."
"So?"
"It's perfect, I can't wait to put it on." I say eagerly. I quickly put it on and she tapes me in in. I stare at myself in the mirror and I'm taken back to my first match. "It feels like it's my debut again."
"You've worked hard baby girl, just enjoy it now." Sandra responds.
I'm wearing matching pink, purple and white shorts and crop top. The pink and purple fabric is made with a shiny mesh material so it looks like it has specs of little gems all over. The crop top is a halter and has shoelace ties to give attention to my cleavage.
After some final touches I take a deep breath. "Thank you so much Sandra." I thank.
"Don't thank me, just go out their and kill it."
"I will."
"Now I'm supposed to escort you under the stage, so pop this hoody on and follow me."
I follow her down several corridors making my way underneath the ramp. I meet Stephanie who is talking to some tech guys. "Hi." I greet.
"Welcome back Sarah."
"It's good to be back."
"You look phenomenal." she compliments.
"Thanks." I thank. "Does everyone know the outcome?"
"Yes, everyone has been informed of their cues."
"Does Naomi know it's me having the final showdown?"
"No but she has been informed that the final moment is after hers with AJ."
I nod. "Do you think the ladies will be mad?"
"I don't know, but from what I've heard, they love it, so just take it as it comes."
"I will."
"Now you'll be here for a while, so sit tight, watch the show and remember when you're out there, have fun."
The show begins and match after match I wait for my cue. Finally it comes to The Undertakers match and mine is scheduled next. No one backstage knows the outcome besides Vince, a few production crew and the men in the ring.
As soon as Brock delivers a third F5, I'm told to get into positon. I'm glued to the screen and watch as the referee hits the 3 count and the whole arena is left stunned and they can't believe what they just witnessed.
Paul and Brock make their way up the ramp with grins on their faces and I get into position.
My match is next and I don't know how we are supposed to follow that, the crowd is restless, they are tired, so who knows what's going to happen.
I watch as all the divas make there way down to the ring during the commercial break. I see Vicki Guerrero in the corner on a stand and am told to get ready.
"This divas match is the Vicki Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational." Lillian announces. "The first diva to pin or submit someone will win the Divas Championship." Lillian adds and the crowd give a mixed reaction. AJ's music starts up and she skips out. "Making her way to the ring, from Union City New Jersey, the Divas Champion, AJ Lee." Lillian finishes.
AJ gets in the ring and kisses her title. She analyses all the divas circling her as she hesitantly hands her title to the referee. "Excuse me." Vicki screeches. "I said Excuse Me." she repeats getting everyone's attention. "Before this match starts I have one more announcement to make." she addresses and all the divas turn to face Vicki confused. "I've just gotten word that there is a last minute entrant for this match, so AJ good luck, because I think you're going to need it. Ahahah."
The lights dim and the crowd seems to like where this is going. There is a noise heard from the ramp and the floor starts to open up. I slowly start to rise and a head is seen from the ramp and all they can see is my hood. "Who is that?" Cole asks confused.
I rise to a standing position and everyone can see the mystery diva in the hoody. I look up and stare down AJ who has frozen in place.
That's when 'American Girl' blares and my music blares and the crowd explodes as I pull down my hoody revealing myself. All the divas in the ring are in shock. I take off my hoody and grin as I chuck it away and raise my hands above my head. "It's Sarah." the announcers shout as the crowd go crazy.
"She's back." Cole adds.
"She was SEZ." Jerry exclaims.
I make my way down the ramp and look in the ring to see the confused faces of all the divas and blow a kiss to AJ. "Sarah is back folks and up to her old mind games." Cole observes.
I get in the ring and watch everyone as I go to the corner and climb up. I let out a mighty cheer to the crowd are cheering me on with excitement. "This match just got a lot more interesting." JBL addresses.
"It sure has, we haven't seen Sarah in action since she broke her neck and dislocated her shoulder, she looks better than ever." Jerry says excitedly.
After the commotion I form a place into the circle surrounding AJ. AJ has not stopped watching me and I glance at her and smirk. The referee raises the title above his head and hands it to a worker. He gets back in the middle and rings the bell.
AJ and Tamina are centre in the ring and all of us ladies circle them. We wait to see who will make the first move and that's when I decide to break first.
I charge straight at AJ and Tamina and the divas follow suit and we start to gang up on AJ. "All the divas are taking out the champ." Cole exclaims.
"That's a smart move get her out of the way." JBL approves.
AJ rolls out of the ring and we stand up. I continue attacking Tamina and we go at it and everyone else finds someone to fight.
I punch Tamina, she punches me back. "Come on Tamina show me how tough you can be?" I shout.
Her eyes go wide and she pounces but I side step and quickly jump on her back and deliver the SarahStabber. I quickly cover. "Sarah is covering Tamina." Cole shouts. "1, 2." but Alicia breaks it up and starts kicking me in the back and I roll out of the ring.
Everyone has a star making moment hitting one another with finishers and they all get broken up. At this moment Brie, Nicole and Nattie have Alicia, Aksana and Layla and they deliver a triple suplex. They all cover at once but everyone kicks out. "This match is chaotic." Jerry mentions.
I slowly make it to my feet and see AJ getting to hers, she looks at me and smirks and goes to turn away but jumps and knocks me off my feet. "AJ is attacking Sarah." Cole announces.
"Maybe a little payback." JBL chuckles.
I reverse it and start unloading on her. I pull her up and kick her in the gut and deliver a scissor kick on the outside of the ring. "Ooh." the crowd echoes. "Come on." I yell out to the crowd and they let out a loud cheer.
"Did you just see that?" Jerry asks loudly.
I smirk and smile at the crowd and blow her a kiss. "It's good to be back." I say loudly and all of a sudden I'm knocked down from behind and I clutch my head in pain. "Tamina just knocked Sarah out." JBL announces as the crowd boo.
Tamina walks away but Natalya delivers a discus close line on the outside of the ring. "Oh." the crowd echos.
"There is a lot of action outside of the ring instead of in it." Cole mentions.
In the ring it's Brie and Nicole who are standing tall. There are a bunch of divas in front of the ramp and Brie and Nicole exchange looks and run the ropes and suicide dive through the ropes colliding with all the divas and knock them down. Brie and Nikki get back in the ring and celebrate but Nikki rips her hand away from Brie's and they stare at one another. "Are they going to fight each other?" Jerry wonders.
Brie shoves Nikki and Nikki shoves her back. Brie kicks her in the stomach and goes to deliver The Bella Buster but Nikki counters and picks her up and puts her on her shoulders. Nikki jumps on her knees and delivers The Rack Attack and covers Brie "1, 2." but Layla and Alicia break the pin.
Alicia fights with Nikki and delivers two nasty back breakers and Nikki roles out of the ring.
Naomi runs in and attacks Alicia and she rolls out of the ring. Naomi faces Layla and they begin fighting until she delivers The Rear View and covers Layla. "1,2." but AJ breaks it up by running into the ring.
Whilts Naomi gets up, AJ runs the ropes and locks in the black widow. "Oh no, AJ has the black widow knocked in." JBL announces.
"Is Naomi going to tap?" Cole wonders.
I start to stand and see Naomi starting to fade and she's about to tap. I get a boost of energy and run into the ring and attack AJ from behind making her release her hold.
Naomi rolls out of the ring as AJ holds her head. There is no one else, it's just me and AJ. "It's Sarah and AJ about to go at it." Jerry exclaims.
AJ stands and I smirk. She goes to punch me but I block it and I punch her hard and she falls to the mat and the crowd "ooh."
I look to the crowd and smirk as I kick AJ in the stomach and put her head under my shoulder. I raise my hand up and get the crowd to cheer. They cheer as I fling her up over my shoulder and fling her face first onto the mat. "Sarah delivers The Kiss of Death." Cole exclaims. "Are we going to see a new champion?"
I look to the corner and point. "I don't think she's finished." JBL comments.
I move AJ into the corner and climb the rope. "The last time she climbed the corner she was pushed off and broke her neck, I wonder what's going through her mind?" Jerry wonders.
I climb to the top turnbuckle look up and smile. "This is for you." I whisper.
I jump and deliver The Sarah Splash on top of AJ. "Sarah hits the Sarah Splash." JBL, Cole and Jerry shout in unison.
I quickly cover. "1, 2 and 3." "Yes." I scream in excitement sitting up as the crowd cheers in excitement.
"Sarah did it, she's champion. She got her title back." Cole expresses excitedly.
"She sure has." Jerry exclaims.
"Here is your winner and the new Divas Champion, Sarah." Lillian announces.
I stand up as the referee hands me my title and I raise it above my head. "Yeah." I yell out.
"Sarah is back and champion once again." JBL expresses.
I climb the corner and point out to the crowd and blow a kiss. I get out of the ring and walk over to the front row and hug my family and friends. I make my way up the ramp and when I get to the top I raise my title one last time before walking back through the curtain.
When I get through the curtain I am tackled by hugs from the girls. "Well done." Nicole congratulates.
"Thanks." I thank crying.
"Well done babe. I was completely shocked." Brie says.
"Thanks."
"Girl you surprised everyone." Trinity adds.
"I'm so sorry I really wanted to tell everyone." I explain.
"There is nothing to apologise for, you were doing your job, and we'll have plenty of opportunities to verse you and you deserve it." Nattie assures.
I make my way to Renee for my post match interview and she hugs me tightly. "Welcome back." She says excitedly.
"It's good to be back." I respond.
"We won't be long so hang tight." she directs and I nod. After a couple minutes we are given the countdown and begin.
"Ladies and Gentleman with me at this time, is the returning and new WWE Divas Champion, Sarah. Sarah welcome back." Renee welcomes and the crowd cheer loudly as I appear on screen.
"It's good to be back, and finally show my face again." I respond.
"Everyone is probably going to ask you but why were you the mystery diva?"
"I'll answer all that on Raw tomorrow, but right now I'm going to take in this moment."
"What's next for you Sarah?" Renee asks.
"That's easy, defending this title to the best of my ability and being champion for a very long time."
"Last question before you leave are you worried about the other divas targeting you now?"
"I would be dumb if I wasn't." I answer. "I am the champion and every diva in that locker room wants to be, but they have to go through me. Now with me back at the helm I think things are going be a lot more fun around here."
