The day after Extreme Rules I wake up exhausted but it's a new day and I have Raw tonight.
I arrive at the gym and find Nikki and Brie working out. I walk up to them. "Morning." Nikki greets.
"Hey." I greet. "I'm exhausted."
"Bit sore from last night?" Brie asks.
"Yes. Every muscle in my body is aching, so I need to fix that."
"Well if it helps it was one hell of a match." Nicole mentions.
"I don't know how I'm going to follow that but I have a meeting with Stephanie shortly, so hopefully something special."
"Any idea what about?" Brie asks.
"I have no idea they just said a new storyline."
I arrive at the arena and put my things down. I make my way to Stephanie's office and when I get there I find Colby, Jon and Joe waiting outside. "Hello." I greet approaching them.
"Your match last night was insane." Jon expresses.
"Thank you, I'm still feeling it." I thank.
"I'm guessing you got called to come in?" Colby asks.
"Yes. Does this mean we might be working together again?"
"Probably, Saraya is here too." Joe responds.
A few moments later the door to Stephanie's office opens and she invites us inside. Saraya appears from behind me. "Hi." I greet.
"Morning."
"How are you feeling?"
"Buggered."
"Same. You made it just in time we are heading in."
We walk inside and when take a look around my heart stops. I was not expecting to see Randy. "Thank you everyone for coming in." Vince begins. "We have a great storyline coming up and we want you all to be a part of it."
"There is going to be another match against Evolution and The Shield at Payback, and it will be a No Holds Barred elimination match." Paul announces. "To give the match an extra edge, we want to add you two ladies too."
"What do you ladies think of that?" Stephanie asks us.
"I think it's a great idea." Saraya answers.
I nod in agreement. "Likewise. I think it will be a great angle for us, but what's it going to add?"
"After both your matches last night social media broke down over the discussion about them, so if we add all the competitors from both and turn it into a No Holds Barred Mixed Elimination Tag Match what do you think might happen?" Vince answers.
"Internet will break?" I joke. Everyone laughs. "Who will team with who?"
"Paige will team with Evolution and Sarah will team with The Shield but we are also going to give the fans an opportunity to choose to see who they really want you to team up with." Stephanie answers.
"And if the fans vote the other way?"
"We will fix the numbers if we have to." Vince answers.
"Okay." I respond. "Now what do you want happening tonight?"
After going over the segment I make my way back to the locker room and the other ladies have started to arrive. "How did the meeting go?" Brie asks.
"Paige and Sarah are joining the feud with Shield and Evolution." I announce.
"No way." Nicole responds.
"Yep, I'll be on The Shield's side too."
"How is this going to work out?" Trinity asks curiously.
"It all starts tonight."
"You think you'll be able to work with Randy?" Nattie asks me.
"I won't be teaming with him so that's a plus, and I'll have someone around me."
"Will you feel comfortable working with him?" Nikki asks.
"No, but I'm a professional, I can do my segements and matches then leave." I respond. "I better go get ready."
At hair and makeup Amy does her thing. My hair is straight in a half up half down style with a top knot. For my make-up I have a bold glittery blue smokey eye. Tonight I'm wearing a black sparkled crop top with black high waisted skinny jeans and knee high boots.
Once I'm ready I head to catering where I see my new team mates sitting around a table. "Well if it isn't my new team mates." I greet excitedly.
They all look in my direction and I see Colby's eyes go wide at my outfit. "Wow, you look great." He compliments.
I blush. "Thanks. I just wanted to say I'm looking forward to teaming with you guys."
"Likewise, we are glad our last one will be something big like this too."
"Are they splitting you up?"
They all nod. "Yes."
"You're okay with this?"
"We knew it would happen eventually." Joe responds.
"True."
"But they have some pretty cool stuff planned for us." Jon mentions.
After eating we are told to head to gorilla as our segment is next. I arrive and all members of Evolution are ready to go. I approach Paul and Dave and they both smile at me. Stephanie walks up to me. "Ready?" She asks.
"Yes." I confirm.
"Don't worry about you know who, you have six other people around you if you need it, you'll be fine and we've had a word with him." she assures and I send her a smile in return. A worker tells me that I'm up and I hear my music blast and the crowd erupts.
"Here comes the Divas Champion, what a match she had last night." Cole expresses.
"It sure was, i'm shocked she's looking as beautiful as ever, she was in one of the most brutal diva matches I've seen, I'm curious as to what our champ has to say." Jerry wonders.
I get in the ring and blow a kiss to the crowd and wait for them to settle down but they don't. They instantly start chanting. "You were awesome, you were awesome."
I chuckle. "As you all know last night was one hell of a night." I begin. "We had Evolution Vs The Shield and I hate to say it but I think we out did them." The crowd let out a loud cheer in agreement.
"I don't know about that, there match was trending worldwide." JBL disagrees.
"So was hers she broke twitter." Jerry retorts.
"Last night, I did what I said that I was going to do and I beat the living hell out of Paige and I'm still your Divas Champion." I exclaim and the crowd cheers. "So what's next for me?" I ask the crowd.
I'm about to continue and I hear a ticking sound and Evolutions theme comes on. "Oh my." the commentators say. I look up at the ramp and see the three members of Evolution walk out and stand at the top. "What is Evolution doing out here?" Cole asks confused.
"I don't know." Jerry replies.
They slowly make there way down the ramp and enter the ring one by one and start to form a semi-circle around me. I take a couple steps back to keep my distance as they grab mikes and the music dies. "It's a good thing you were talking about last night because last night we had one hell of a fight that stole the show." Triple H addresses and the crowd give a loud response.
I shrug my shoulders. "Okay."
"Then you happened to mention that you thought you'd out did us?"
"I did, am I not allowed to have an opinion?" I retort.
Triple H glances at Batista and Randy and grins. "Of course you can, just as long as the opinion is the right one." he retorts and the crowd boos. "As to why we are out here, we have a proposition for you?"
"What proposition?"
"We need someone like you to join us." he responds and the crowd give a loud reaction.
"Why would you want me to join you?" I question. "You have it under control."
Batista raises his mike and the crowd boos. "Since I've come back, all I've heard about is Sarah this and Sarah that, and when I saw your match last night, we all agreed that we need to have a strong, confident woman on our side, just in case any divas cross the line and disrespect us."
"Why me? There must be other divas more suitable to what you're looking for."
"We don't ask a lot of people to join us, and if we had a choice we wouldn't, but because we need a bit of femininity, we thought we'd ask the top woman in this company, you." Triple H explains and the crowd cheers.
I'm about to respond and The Shields music blasts and the crowd goes ballistic. Evolution instantly get into defence as The Shield make there way through the crowd and down to the ring. "Sarah better get out of there." Jerry advises.
The Shield get in the ring I move and stand in between the two teams and I start to feel a little intimidated. "You don't seriously believe these lies they are telling you?" Seth asks me.
"I don't want any part of whatever this is." I say gesturing to both teams. "I have other things to worry about."
"Here's the thing sweet cheeks." Dean addresses me and the crowd cheers at the nickname and I roll my eyes. "There's no choice in the matter, we both need to find a diva." Dean announces. "And wouldn't you want to join a team that are winners and from my recollection they aren't."
The crowd chuckles as Evolution glare. "You got lucky last night, you better watch yourself because at Payback we'll end your careers before they've even started." Triple H threatens.
"Or is it because you're old and washed up?" Seth asks and the crowd laughs.
I chuckle a little at that and try to hide my laugh. "What's so funny?" Randy asks me.
I instantly stop laughing. "Nothing." I answer clearning my throat and the crowd laughs and I turn to face The Shield members. "So why are you out here?"
"Before Evolution came down here, we were going to ask if you wanted to join our team." Seth replies and the crowd cheers loudly.
Paige's music blasts and the crowd give her a loud mixed reaction. I turn my attention to Paige who is smiling and making her way down the ramp. "What are you doing out here?" I shout.
The crowd oohs at my instant mood change. "Calm down Sarah, I just came out here because it seems that you're in a bit of a predicament, two teams asking you to join them and I can't help but feel a little jealous of all your attention."
"That's because they want the best." I retort and the crowd "Oohs." "But do continue, I actually want to see where your taking this, my interest has been peaked."
"You see if you men want divas why not ask me? You saw the match last night I was this close to beating her."
"Not close enough." I mutter.
"Don't be so lucky, I know your weakness now." she retorts. "Anyway more to that later, if you guys want a diva, then who ever she decides I will join the other."
The crowd seem to like this and cheer in approval. "To make this fair how about we get the WWE universe to decide, that way whichever team I'm on won't make my life hell." I suggest. "What do you say Hunter, you're the boss around here?"
The crowd starts chanting yes and he looks over at his team mates. "You're smart." he comments.
"I am."
"So this is what we'll do, by the end of the night the WWE universe will get to vote for which team Sarah and Paige will be on."
"Accepted." I accept. "The fate is in the hands of the fans, so if you want to see me on the winning side, make sure you choose right, and I have a feeling you might." I smirk and go to leave but turn back to point at Paige. "Paige don't ever interrupt me again." I warn and drop the mike and leave the ring with everyone eyeing me.
It's time for the mainevent and I'm excited to be closing the show. I watch as Evolution walk down to the ring, followed by The Shield. I watch Paige walk out and lastly my music starts and the arena erupts.
I walk out and make my way to the ring staring at the people in the ring and around it. I enter the ring and my music cuts as I grab a microphone. Paige hops down and The Shield enter the ring. "It's time to find out which team the WWE Universe has decided to put these two ladies on." Triple H addresses. "Whatever the fans have voted the decision is final. Can I get a drumroll please?" A drumroll is played and the results come up on screen and it reads; 57% have voted for me to join The Shield and 43% have voted for Paige to join Evolution.
I look around the ring at the shocked and happy faces. Dean smirks as Triple H is shocked that the vote didn't go his way. "There you have it folks Sarah is teaming with The Shield and Paige is to teaming with Evolution." Jerry announces.
"Now that we have a deal. Tell us the reason why you need us?" I ask Triple H.
"That's easy, for a match at Payback, it's going to be a No Holds Barred Mixed Elimination match and in four weeks it will be the end of The Shield and sadly you." Triple H responds and Paige attacks me and that kicks off all men and we all start attacking each other.
Paige and I roll out of the ring and we brawl on the floor. "This is absolute chaos." Jerry shouts.
I get the upper hand and punch Paige hard in the face which allows me to stand up and get my distance. I look around and see everyone fighting. Batista and Roman are going at it. Dean and Randy are fighting each other and Seth and Triple H are fighting in the ring.
I turn my attention back to Paige and she's starting to get to her feet. I charge at her and deliver a close line to her and she crashes to the floor and the crowd ooh from the impact. Seth throws Triple H out of the ring and Dean joins him. Roman spears Batista near the ramp and all members of The Shield are standing tall.
I roll back into the ring and stand with them and we glance at one another as the members of Evolution retreat up the ramp. I turn around to face the three men and they have their fists out in the middle and they glance over at me. The crowd cheer for me on to join them.
I send a final glance to the four people on the ramp and smirk as I raise my fist and bump it with the guys and the crowd goes crazy. "There you have it, The Shield and Sarah standing tall, is this the start of something big?" Cole wonders as Raw goes off air.
