After a successful week of TV it's time to head home. Colby is dropping me off at the airport. "You sure you don't want me to fly with you?" he asks.
"I'm sure, I have some things to do at home, so I'll meet you in Vegas when everyone gets there." I reply.
"Be safe."
"I will."
"Have a good flight home, I'll talk to you soon." He wishes and kisses me softly.
I land in Tampa and head straight to my apartment where I put on a load of laundry and have a shower. I get out a suitcase and start to pack for Vegas. A short while later I hear my phone ringing. "Hello." I answer.
"Serena." Anna squeals.
I laugh. "Fuck my ear."
"Sorry, I just saw that you're in town, and I got excited. Can I pop over?"
"I could use help packing."
"I'll be over soon then."
About twenty minutes later she buzzes the gate and I let her up. I open the door as she exits the elevator. "You screeched?"
"I just missed you."
"Come in." I welcome and we settle on the couch. "What brings you over?"
"I just wanted to see you before you left for Vegas."
"Help me pack and we can catch up."
"Sure." she accepts and we get straight into it. "So how's Colby?"
I smile. "He's good."
"So are you going to Vegas with just him?"
"No, I'm going with Renee, Jon, Joe and his wife."
"You nervous?"
"Not really, we hang out all the time."
"Are you still taking it slow?"
"Slow but not too slow." I grin.
"I'm happy for you."
"Thanks."
"How's being a heel?"
"I actually love it."
"You're a natural." She laughs. "So when do you leave for Vegas?"
"Friday, I'm meeting everyone there."
"You aren't flying together?"
"No. Jon lives in Vegas and Renee mostly stays with him anyway."
"And Colby?"
"Colby flew home for a couple days."
"Cool." she smiles. "Have you heard anything from Sophie, since your encounter with her?"
"No I really tore into her."
"It must of been lots of amped up frustration."
"I could've continued but I didn't want to waist any more of time."
"Good for you."
"Alright enough deep shit, let's open some wine."
Friday comes around and I leave for Vegas. I'm excited to let my hair down and have a fun weekend. I arrive at the airport and quickly get on my flight. A couple hours later I land in Vegas and get an Uber to Jon's place.
I look out the window as we drive and see the dry desert and red rocks passing by and before I know it the car comes at a gated entrance. I text Renee and the gate opens. The Uber slowly drives down the driveway and comes to a complete stop. I get out and grab my luggage. I thank the driver and head up the front steps and knock on the door.
A few seconds later the door opens and Renee answers. "Yay you're finally here." She squeals.
"Finally." I grin. "Where is everyone?"
"Everyone's inside, come in."
I enter the lounge rom, which continues is connected to the kitchen and find Galina, Joe's wife, preparing some nibbles. "You made it." she greets excitedly.
"I did, it's great to see you again."
"You too, and it's great to see that you're here with Colby, it's about damn time."
"It is." I laugh. "Where are the guys?"
"In the den, Colby's been watching the clock all day waiting for you."
"No fret, I'm here now and ready to party." I say gleefully. We walk down the stairs to the basement and I hear the guys shouting insults at the TV. "COD?"
"All day." Renee laughs.
"Hello." I greet the guys who are still paying attention to the screen. Colby's eyes peer in my direction but he quickly glances back to the TV. "Well I wasn't expecting that."
"Come on we'll let these guys enjoy themselves." Renee laughs. "Let me show you to your room."
Once settled into my room, I change into some swimmers and a kaftan and I head to the kitchen.
Renee and Galina are opening up a bottle of wine just as I enter. "Perfect timing." I grin.
"We heard you coming down the stairs." Renee laughs.
"Wow girl you look great." Galina compliments.
"Thanks." I thank taking a glass. "We swimming for a bit?" We walk outside and place our drinks and nibbles down. We climb into the pool and sit at the shallow end and take in the sun. "This place is lovely."
"I know it's beautiful."
"Are you here a lot?"
"I practically live here."
"How far away are we from the city?"
"Not to far, but far enough so we don't have to many people around."
"So what's the plan for tonight?" I ask.
"We are going to do dinner in town and then are hitting up a club after." Renee answers.
"Sounds like a typical Vegas night." Galina chuckles. "And I hear you can get a little carried away too."
I chuckle. "Um yeah."
Renee laughs. "Last time she was here was for her birthday, she was hilarious."
"And the time before that I was here for Nattie's bachelorette." I add.
"So you come here frequently?" Galina asks.
"Not too often but I'm no stranger."
"How was your flight?" Renee asks.
"It was good, and I had a lot of rest over the last couple days too."
"How is it being a heel?" Galina asks.
"It's different, but I love it. I love that I can do more things to get heat which doesn't take much."
"Jon feels the same way." Renee responds.
"He has that persona." I agree. "It sucks he's has to dial it back."
"Well the stuff he was doing wasn't PG."
"Ladies." the guys call out walking outside.
"So now you want to see me." I joke as the guys take a seat.
"We were preoccupied." Jon laughs.
"You don't say."
"Watch that smart mouth or I may make you sleep outside."
"Oh the terror."
"How was your flight?" Colby asks.
"Good." I respond. "When did you get here?"
"I flew in with Joe and Galina this morning."
"Good to hear." I smile. "Well I need a stronger drink, who's up for shots?"
"I'll help." Colby offers.
"Don't be too long." Joe teases and I flip him off as the others crack up.
Once inside I turn around and Colby pulls me into his arms. "Hi." he greets kissing me.
I smile into the kiss. "Well that's a better greeting."
"How was it being home for a bit?"
"It was good, I got a shit ton of laundry done, and hung out with Anna."
"She good?"
"Yeah, she just misses me."
"Comes with the job."
"It does." I agree. "I missed you."
"Did you really?" he grins. "I missed you too."
"Now before they interrupt this moment let's make some shots."
"Let's do it."
After a fun afternoon in the pool and some drinks it's time to get ready for dinner. I hear the bathroom door open and Colby walks out in nothing but a towel. My eyes go wide and he grins at my reaction. "Like something you see?" He smirks.
I roll my eyes. "No." I joke and he glares at me playfully. "You done with the shower?"
"All yours." he answers and I walk past him and he slaps me on the ass as I walk past him.
"Colby Lopez."
"Couldn't help it."
"Sure you couldn't."
After a shower and blow drying my hair, I walk out of the bathroom in my towel to find Colby dressed in pants and a nice shirt. "That is just torture." he groans eyeing my naked body.
"Payback my friend." I tease as I pull out some underwear and quickly put them on.
I drop the towel and quickly change into a gold sparkled mini skirt with a see-through long sleeved top. I put on black stilettos to finish off the look. Once dressed I start on my make up: a gold smokey.
I walk out of the bathroom and stand in front of the mirror. Colby is on the bed on his phone and looks up and his eyes go wide. "Wow." he gasps.
I turnaround to face him. "I take it you like?"
"More than like." he grins and stalks towards me and pulls me to him. "You look hot."
I smirk. "That was the plan."
He growls. "Ready?"
"Just one minute." I whisper and pull him close and attach his lips to mine. I control the kiss and deepen it and he groans. I come up for breath and he stares at me breathlessly. "Couldn't help myself."
"Damn you woman." he groans as I pull him out of the room.
We arrive at The Bellagio and make our way to one of the restaurants inside. We get seated and order some drinks. "Who's up for some gambling later?" Galina asks.
"I'm in." I accept.
"You gamble?" Renee asks.
"No, but it's always fun once you have a little alcohol in you."
"Make sure this one goes easy tonight." Jon teases.
I glare at him. "You're mean." I pout as Colby leans in and kisses my forehead.
Once dinner has finished, us ladies walk around the casino to do some gambling and the boys decide to head to the nightclub. As we are walking people start to point Renee and me out. We enter stop by the roulette wheels are and a group of girls approach us. "Are you Sarah?" A blonde asks.
I nod. "I am."
"We just wanted to say we love you." They express.
"Well thank you." I appreciate. "Are you enjoying yourselves?"
"Having a blast."
"Could we get a picture with you and Renee?" another one asks. Renee nods and we pose with them. "Thank you."
"Does that always happen?" Galina asks once they've walked off.
"All the time." I answer.
"Do you ever get scared, you did have a stalker?"
"I do, but I know I'm safe, I'm with you guys, if no, I'm with Colby or someone else, I just don't think about it." I respond. "What about you, it must suck when Joe has Joelle?"
"It does but we keep her out of it, she only goes to the big events anyway and she stays well hidden."
"How's little Eliza?" Renee asks.
"She's good, my mum actually wants me to take her for a week after Money in the Bank as school has broken up and they want to go away."
"You speak to your mum much?" Galina asks.
"As much as I can."
After some gambling and some more drinks we head to the night club to meet up with the guys. We get let in and the staff lead us to our booth. We see the guys enjoying in a private booth. "There you are." Jon says as Renee hugs him.
"Win anything?" Joe asks us.
"Nope." Galina answers.
I go to sit next to Colby but he pulls me down onto his lap. "Well hi." I giggle and get comfortable.
"There wasn't any room in the booth." He smirks.
"Sure." I retort and cuddle into his chest.
The alcohol has hit me and I'm drunk. I casually start planting kisses on Colby's cheek and neck. "Someone's drunk." He chuckles.
"I think you're right." I agree peppering more kisses.
"Keep this up Serena and you might be sorry."
"What would you?" I ask grinning ear to ear.
His eyes go wide. "Nothing that should be done in public."
"Alright let's dance." Renee alerts getting my attention and pulls me off of Colby's lap.
"You sure it's wise to get her on the dance floor?" Jon jokes as we walk off.
We start to dance and I turn my head to see Colby watching me closely. His eyes have gone dark and he's trying to control himself. "You two have it bad." Renee shouts out over the music.
"Like you can talk, you're just as bad." I retort.
"Whatever, but he hasn't taken his eyes off you."
"I know it's sexy." I grin and glance at Jon who's been watching Renee.
She laughs. "They are just as bad as each other."
"Mind if I cut in?" a voice asks.
I turn around and I have to catch my breath. "Paul!" I squeal excitedly.
"How are you doing Serena?" He asks.
"I'm great."
"You look amazing."
"Thank you, how's Phoebe?"
"She's over there." he says pointing behind him.
I follow where he's pointing and see Phoebe in a booth across the club. I smile. "OMG." I squeal.
She stands up and makes her way over. "OMG." She squeals and attacks me with a hug.
"What are you doing here?" I ask over the music.
"We have a couple weeks off from filming, so we wanted to get away for some fun." she answers. "How have you been? I've been watching the show, you are insanely evil now."
"I am." I grin. "Phoebe I don't know if you remember, but this is Renee."
"I remember, we met at your birthday, nice to see you again." Phoebe smiles.
"Likewise." Renee replies.
"What made the decision to come here?"
"Well my boyfriend lives in a small house in Vegas and he wanted to invite a couple friends." Renee answer.
"Like a couples weekend?"
"Yes." Renee answers.
"Are you with someone?" Phoebe asks me.
"I am actually." I smile and turn to point to the guys.
"Seth Rollins?" She guesses with a knowing smile.
I laugh as does Renee. "That's his character but yes, Colby. You've met several times." I confirm.
Paul and Phoebe smile. "I knew it wouldn't take long for something to happen between you two." Paul responds.
"I tried to focus on myself but when you try to fight it, it draws you in quicker."
"True." Phoebe agrees.
"How is everyone?"
"Everyone is good."
"Do you guys want to join us for a drink?" I invite.
"Sure." They accept and we head back to our booth.
"Well look who it is." Colby greets.
"Colby." Paul greets shaking his hand.
"How you doing man?"
"I'm good, glad I got to get away for a bit and it seems like you are too."
"We needed to have a break before Money in the Bank."
"I see you finally maned up and asked her out." Phoebe addresses
Everyone chuckles. "Yeah." he smiles and pulls me to him.
"Sit, join us for a drink." Jon encourages.
After the nightclub we all catch an uber back to Jon's. We arrive and it's quite comedic. Us girls are completely drunk and our men have to help us to our rooms, just to add to it; Total Divas cameras are filming too.
As we get into our room and the door is locked I pounce on Colby. "Easy tiger." he laughs loudly as he grabs hold of me and I wrap my legs around his waist.
"You have no idea how bad I wanted you tonight." I whisper.
"Same babe." he grins placing me on the bed.
"Well then take out my frustration."
He smirks. "As you wish."
The next morning I wake up to a hangover. I sit up in bed and see that I'm alone. I slowly get out of bed and make my way down stairs to get some coffee. When I get to the kitchen I see everyone is already up. "Morning." I greet.
"You're up early." Jon teases.
"I need coffee stat." I alert.
"Bit of a hangover baby girl?" Joe asks.
"A little." I wince holding my head. "So what's the plan today?"
"We are going to the gun range." Renee answers.
"Cool! What time are we leaving?"
"About ten."
It's time to leave for the gun range. I'm wearing pink shorts and a white top and black combat boots. My hair is in two braids. We arrive at the gun range and go through the safety procedures as well as get given ear muffs, glasses and guns and we are ready to go.
The boys go first and naturally they do well. "I so would have gone to a spa." I whisper to Galina.
Galina laughs. "I'm with you there."
"It's not too late to ditch."
"How about after this we ditch the guys and have a girls afternoon?" Renee suggests.
"That's a brilliant idea." Galina agrees.
Once the guys have had there turn, it's us girls next. The workers at the gun range help us through the steps and guide us on how to use the gun. As soon as I fire the first bullet I squeal. "Shit. Sorry, I wasn't expecting it to be that loud."
"Don't worry, you'll get used to it." A worker advises.
I fire the second shot and I hit the target. I smile. "That felt better."
"Good just keep going."
We get back to the house and inform the guys that we are leaving and will be back later. "Where are you heading?" Colby asks.
"Spa." I answer.
"Can't we spend some time together?"
"When I get back, we can get some alone time?"
"I like the sound of that." He smirks.
I smile. "Good. I don't know when that will be, but I'll message you later."
"Stay safe."
After a relaxing massage at the spa we get back to the house and we hear the boys in the basement on the ps4. "Do you mind if Colby and I use the spa tonight?" I ask.
"Go for it." Renee responds.
"Thanks." I smile and get changed into my swimsuit and put on my kimono. I walk down to the basement. "Colby."
"Yeah." he says not letting his eyes move from the screen.
"You ready?"
"Ready for what?"
"Our swim."
"Oh right, sorry, let me finish this and I'll be out."
"Take your time."
I walk outside and take in the cool air and step into the jacuzzi. I get comfortable and a few moments later I hear the doors to the patio open and Colby walks out in his swim trunks.
"That was quick." I mention.
"I died quicker than I thought I would." he chuckles and climbs in and I scoot over next to him. "How was the spa?"
"Relaxing."
"Are you having a good time?"
"Yes. I love that we can just enjoy our time together."
"Me too." he agrees. "Was it weird when Paul and Phoebe showed up?"
"A little." I admit. "I haven't talked to them in a while, I've been so busy, but they are still watching which is great, but I miss them."
"Was it good seeing Phoebe?"
"It was." I smile and turn to face him. "Now enough talking." I demand and he smirks and leans in and kisses me.
