AN: Hey everyone, I have the next chapter here. We now switch over to the LYN team as they head to the Isle of Armor. However, I wanted to have a chapter on the S.S. Anne to ease the transition a bit. This chapter was a lot of fun to write, and I am happy about the new Pokemon showing up. I also change the cover to Yang with her ever-hungry Munchlax. Chapter 21 – S.S. Anne Shenanigans
In the Vermillion City Harbor, a large cruise ship was docked. However, as smoke started to plume from the engines, the sea vessel began to set sail. On one of the railings, Yang, Neo, and Leaf watched and waved goodbye to the city, seeing the electric gym leader waving back, "Nice of him see us off." Yang commented.
"Yeah, and this is a new experience for me." Leaf said, "Last time I got a ticket for the S.S. Anne, it left just as I stepped off for a gym battle."
"That sucks." Yang responded, then looked to Neo, "I haven't been on a cruise before, have you?"
"…" Neo shook her head from side to side.
"Well, we're all going to be on this boat for a while." Leaf said while turning away, "Let's head to our rooms." She said with Yang and Neo following. They continued to walk until the shrewd trainer stopped before a door, "Here we are, this is your room." She said while turning back and handing the key to Neo.
"…" Neo accepted the key and opened the door, seeing an incredibly spacious cabin inside. The mute girl smiled as she ran in and fell onto the large bed.
"Wow, they really treated us with these cabins." Yang commented before looking back to Leaf, "I wonder what mine looks like."
"Uh, this one is also yours." Leaf informed, "You two are sharing this cabin?"
"What!?" Yang commented, "What about you?"
"Oh, I get my own room." Leaf said with a smirk, "I need my privacy." she responded with Yang still having a look of shock, "Come on, you two will be fine." The shrewd trainer said before handing Yang her key to the same room, "Use this as a bonding experience."
Yang sighed before entering the room. She took off her backpack before examining the area, coming to a sudden realization, "Uh, there's only one bed in here." She said to Neo.
"…" Neo looked back, then took off her backpack and pulled out the whiteboard to create a message, "Dibs."
"What, no you don't!" Yang responded, "I'm bigger, so I get the bed." She before scanning the rest of the cabin, "There, you can sleep on that couch, or that big chair."
"…!" Neo glared before making a new message, "I called dibs!"
"You-" Yang said before an idea came to her head, "How about this, we have a battle for the bed." She said while taking out her pokeballs, "We both have two Pokemon and a gym badge, so we finally can settle the score."
"…" Neo smirked as she readied her Pokemon as well. However, she then noticed something on the wall opposite the blond brawler. She pointed, causing Yang to notice a sign, "Due to multiple rooms being damaged in the past, no Pokemon battles inside the cabins." The sign read, "Failure to obey will result in heavy charges to the occupants."
"Well, crap." Yang commented, remembering how the two were still flat broke in this world and knew Leaf will not be happy footing the bill again for them, "Okay, we'll settle this a different way." She said before looking over to a table near the right corner, "Alright, I have an idea." The blond brawler said as she walked over to the table, sat down, then put her left elbow on it, "We arm wrestle for it."
"…" Neo looked on with half-open eyes.
"Come on, you scared I'll shatter you like glass?" Yang taunted.
"…" Neo sighed before getting off the bed and walking over to the table. The mute girl sat down opposite Yang, placing her left elbow on the table as well.
"Good," Yang said before she and Neo locked hands at a thumb-to-thumb grip, "This shouldn't take long." She said with a grin while Neo remained unamused, "Three…two…one…Go!" the blond brawler said as she started to flex her forearm, while Neo pulled her whist into herself, "Now… you're…finished…. Eh?" Yang said as she continued to push, but Neo's arm wasn't moving back.
"…" Neo smirked before she leaned into her pull, instantly sending Yang's left arm down to the end of the table.
"What!?" Yang said as Neo let go of their grip, "H-how!?" she asked as Neo giggled, dusting off her hands, "You little-" Yang said before slamming her right fist on the table, "You cheated!" she accused with a point.
"…" Neo looked back with her arms crossed.
"I don't know how, but you shouldn't be able to beat me like that." Yang responded, "I'm like ten times stronger than you, even without my semblance."
"…" Neo sighed before picking up her whiteboard, quickly writing a message, "I always have to beat people stronger than me." The message said, "You're no different than the ones I have fought before."
"You mean who you killed before?" Yang responded, then stood up, "You may act like an innocent girl, but I know who you are." She said before walking over to Neo, "You're the tiny murderous bodyguard of a criminal who is better off to the Remnant dead!"
"…!" Neo gritted her teeth before she clenched her fist. Yang responded in kind as the two were about trade blows. Suddenly, the girls' pokeballs opened with their Pokemon emerging. Neo turned to discover Hatenna and Cubone on the bed each having a look of worry on their faces. The mute girl looked back in self-shame, relaxing her fists before petting both her Pokemon.
Yang looked over to see Hitmonlee, who stood with his arms crossed while looking up at her trainer. The blond brawler was about to respond to the judging eyes but then felt a tug on the back of her head, "AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" she screamed as Munchlax bit down on her hair. She swung her head before the big eater Pokemon let go, his body flopping onto the bed, "Okay, that time as on purpose!" Yang accused Munchlax.
"Munch!" Munchlax said before crossing his arms as well, his gaze narrowed. "Lax."
"You-" Yang spoke in rage then stopped herself. She sighed before turning back to Neo, "Hey, I'm sorry for what I said just then." She said with Neo looking back at her, "I uh, get a little heated when I lose." The blond brawler said while scratching the back of her head.
"…" Neo picked up her whiteboard and wrote a new message, "I forgive you."
"Thanks," Yang responded before sighing again, "You can have the bed; I'll take the couch."
Neo then quickly wrote a new message, "How about a compromise?"
"Uh, what do you mean?" Yang asked in slight confusion while Neo giggled.
As nighttime had fallen onto the S.S. Anne, the cabin of the mute girl and blond brawler saw an over-occupied bed. Over the covers, the four Pokemon slept. Hatenna rested on a pillow while Cubone nuzzled his club. Hitmonlee slept on his side, a pillow between his legs. Munchlax laid on his back, slighting snoring with his mouth still open. From the couch, Yang watched the bed with a slight smile. She then looked over to Neo, who was already asleep on the large chair, "Maybe she is more than I gave her credit for." Yang said before yawning, then looked over to her backpack, "Don't think I forget about you." She said as she opened the backpack, taking out the case that held the large green Pokemon egg. The blond brawler then opened the case, took out the egg, and held it close to her body, "I can't wait to see what you turn into." She said before yawning again, then closed her eyes, "Goodnight." Yang spoke before slowly falling asleep. However, in the blond brawler's arm, the egg began to glow.
The next morning.
As the light of the sun through the window reached Yang's eyes, the blond brawler started to wake up. She yawned before her vision started to clear, hoping to see the egg in her arms. However, Yang gasped upon as there was nothing in her arms, "AAAAAAAHHHHH!" She screamed as everyone else in the room suddenly woke up.
"…!" Neo quickly awoke, turning to a panicking Yang.
"It's gone! It's gone!" Yang cried with her hands on her forehead, "What happened to my Egg." She then started looking around the room, "It has to be here!"
"…" Neo gasped before quickly scanning the area. Their Pokemon got off the bed and added the search while Yang lifted the couched to look behind it. Suddenly, the mute girl picked something off the ground.
"What's is it?" Yang said before dropping the couch, seeing what Neo held, "Is that an eggshell!?" she said before noticing other pieces on the ground which formed a trial.
The two girls followed the trail to Neo's backpack. She reached for it, but recoiled as the backpack moved on its own, "…?" Neo turned back to Yang.
"Let me," Yang said before she moved in. With sweat on her forehead, she reached to open the backpack.
Suddenly, a Pokemon poked its head out of the backpack. The body was a stony green with a longhorn on its head. Its eyes were a crimson red with a black mark under each, "Larvi." It spoke with a smile.
"Awe!" Yang said in joy, "Where you in that egg?"
"Larvitar." The Pokemon said as it emerged from the backpack, showing the rest of the body. The chest was like a red diamond, while the tail plume outwards like a flower.
"Larvitar, is that what you're called?" Yang said with a smile, reaching out her left hand, "I'm Yang, your trainer." She said before having a slight giggle, "And I guess also your Mo-"
"Lar!" Larvitar said before focusing its gaze, then opened its mouth before Yang's hand was a few inches from its face, "LLLLLLLAAAAAAARRRRRR!" it screamed with the soundwaves ringing through the whole room. Yang recalled her hand to hold her ears in pain, Neo doing the same. Cubone full on his back as the sound echoed in his skull. Munchlax pulled down his ears while Hatenna tried to use Protect to avoid the screech. Hitmonlee winced before glaring at Larvitar, then setting his foot ablaze. He then kicked the screecher into the opposite wall.
Yang gasped as the screeching stopped, now replaced with cries of pain from the hatched Pokemon, "Hitmonlee, what were you thinking!?" the blond brawler said with the kicking Pokemon having a look of confusion, "Forget it." She sighed before moving over to Larvitar. Hitmonlee still looked confused as Neo now glared at her. The blond brawler knelt to check on the hatched Pokemon, see a scorch mark on its chest, "Oh no, that's a burn mark." She said before looking back to Neo, "Leaf gave us some medicine. It's in my backpack." Yang said with Neo nodding and going to the backpack. The blond brawler turned back to Larvitar, "It's okay, we'll get you patched up."
"Lar…" Larvitar said with its eyes closed, "Larvi!" suddenly, the eyes opened in full red color. Yang gasped as the hatched Pokemon had a matching red aura as well, "LAR!" it screamed before large stones formed over its head, each radiating a purple aura, "LARVITAR!" Suddenly, the rocks were flung at high speed.
Yang dodged the ones aimed for her, but gasped as one headed towards an unaware Neo, "Lookout!" She said as she tackled Neo, saving the mute girl from a stone hitting her in the back of the head. Hitmonlee blocked the stones that went towards his body, glaring back at Larvitar. However, the hatched Pokemon started to radiate an even stronger crimson aura, "LAR!" it screamed before unleashed barrages of aura-infused stones. They slammed into Hitmonlee's body, sending him back and into the door of the cabin. The door swung open with the kicking Pokemon bouncing off the railing. Hitmonlee's eyes widened at the ripping waters, causing him to kick back up towards the railing. The spring-like leg caught onto the railing, keeping him from continuing his fall.
Yang and Neo quickly ran out of the room, helping to pull up Hitmonlee as quickly as possible. At the same time, Yang saw Larvitar run out the room and down the hall to the left, "Oh no!" Yang panicked as Neo pointed.
Suddenly, Cubone ran out and cut off the escaping Larvitar, "Cubone!" the lonely Pokemon with his club.
Next to him, Munchlax ran up to block the path, "Much!" The big eater Pokemon said with his arms spread out, "Lax, munch-"
"LAR!" Larvitar screamed before rushing forward with redder eyes, the body now covered in a brown aura.
Cubone and Munchlax gasped in shock before Larvitar slammed into them, knocking the lonely Pokemon into a wall. Munchlax crashed directly opposite of him and into the railings, barely holding his balance over the edge. Cubone rushed in to catch the falling Pokemon but was unprepared for the heavy weight of the big eater. Suddenly, Hitmonlee rushed in and grabbed both Pokemon, save them from falling overboard.
"Nice save," Yang said to the Pokemon with Neo right behind her, then looked to see a still running Larvitar rushing ahead at full speed. "Oh no, lookout for that tur-"
"LAR!" Larvitar continued to scream, its eyes clouded by rage. So much so that they did not see the turn in the pathway. The hatched Pokemon ran right into the railings, slamming through them, "…Lar?" Larvitar said before realizing there was no floor and start to fall, "Lar!" it screamed in terror at the waters below.
"Larvitar!" Yang yelled as she ran over the edge, jumping towards Larvitar. In midair, she garbed her Pokemon with both arms, "I've got you." She said while hugging Larvitar close to her body, bracing for impact with the water while closing her eyes.
However, after a few seconds, Yang did not feel any water touch her body. She slowly opened her eyes, discovering her and Larvitar's bodies were covered in a blue aura. Steadily, they floated back onto the ship landing next to Neo. Hatenna rested in the mute girl's hands, reading the same blue aura.
"Y-you saved us," Yang said with Neo smirking, causing the blond brawler to smile, "Heh, thanks." She said before putting Larvitar, who still shivered in her arms, "It's okay, we're not going to hurt you." Yang confirmed while the aura around Larvitar faded away.
A short while later.
Back inside the cabin on the couch, Yang's sprayed a vial of the medicine onto the burn mark that was on Larvitar, watching it quickly heal away, "Huh, they don't call this stuff Burn Heal for nothing."
"Lar." Larvitar said with a smile, causing Yang to have a match one on her face. However, the hatched Pokemon turned to see Hitmonlee walking up with a bowl, "Larvi." Larvitar spoke with a slight scowl.
Hitmonlee's eyes were full of shame, placing the bowl near Larvitar. The hatched Pokemon looked down to see it full of hard food, "Lar?" Larvitar said before seeing the kicking Pokemon bow.
"That means he's sorry." Yang responded, "And I bet you're hungry after all of that." She said before a stomach growl was heard from the hatched Pokemon.
"…Lar…" Larvitar said before reaching for a hard food with its finlike arms, taking one before nibbling on it. Upon quickly finishing it, the hatched Pokemon looked back to Hitmonlee, "Larvi!" It spoke with a smile, causing the kicking Pokemon to smile back.
"See," Yang commented before turning around, seeing Neo feeding the other Pokemon. Munchlax quickly devouring a bowl three times bigger than Cubone's and Hatenna's combined. The mute girl smiled at the sight, causing Yang to look back to Larvitar with a matching expression, "We're all friends here." She said before Larvitar continued to eat.
Suddenly, they heard a knocking on the cabin door. Neo walked up to open it, discovering Leaf on the other side. The shrewd trainer had an unamused expression on her face, "I just got a call from the staff." Leaf said while turning to see the dented railing, the damaged door, and the multiple rock-shaped holes in the walls.
"…" Neo had an uneasy smile now.
"Did you not see the sign?" Leaf asked.
Yang then walked up. "Sorry about that, things got a little crazy this morning." She said before gesturing back to the couch, "On the plus side, the egg hatched."
"Wow, that's what it was!" Leaf said before taking out her Pokedex, "Larvitar, the rock skin Pokemon. It feeds on soil. After it has eaten a large mountain, it will fall asleep so it can grow."
"Yikes, and I thought Munchlax had a big appetite," Yang commented, turning to the big eater Pokemon chowing on his food.
"I thought they were born underground," Leaf said as she continued to read the Pokedex, "In any case, that is a strong Pokemon to get from an egg."
"Tell me about it," Yang responded with a slight chuckle, "This little guy took one fire kick and then started tossing magic rocks around."
"First off, that attack was most likely Ancient Power. An Egg move this Pokemon can get through breeding that has the chance to raise all attributes." Leaf responded, "Second if that kick burned, it activated Larvitar's Guts ability to boost the attack stat." She said before putting away the Pokedex, "And third, she's a girl."
Yang then picked up Larvitar, "Awe, you are just a little powerhouse then, aren't you?" She said while nuzzling the rock skin Pokemon.
"Lar." Larvitar said with a smile.
"It's good you two are getting along." Leaf said before seeing the egg case in the foreground, "You can use that Pokeball atop of the case to capture Larvitar." She said before smirking, "Then, we can get started on a bit of training."
"Really, so soon?" Yang asked, then looked to see Larvitar with a focused gaze in her red eyes, "Well, if you're up for it." She said before grinning.
Neo walked over to grab her whiteboard, writing a message, "How?"
"They have special rooms now for trainers to practice in." Leaf said before crossing her arms, "So they don't have people ruining the cabins." She said before turning around with a sigh, "Follow me."
Yang and Neo recalled their Pokemon, with the blond brawler saving Larvitar for last. She took the Pokeball from atop the case, lightly tapping it on the rock skin pokemon's head, and capturing her inside, "Welcome to the team." Yang said with a smile before she and Neo exited their cabin.
The two followed Leaf towards the interior of the ship while she was making a note. They then went down a flight of stairs to large sectioned-off rooms, "I reserved us a couple of rooms." Leaf commented, "They were a little costly, but I won big at the ship's Game Corner."
"Game Corner?" Yang asked as Neo wrote on her whiteboard.
"You can gamble at your age?" the message read.
"If they offer it, I can do it." Leaf responded to both, then smirked, "And I am good at it." She then sighed, "But after the damages, I'm lucky if I'll break even."
"Can you drink?" Yang added on.
"Focus right now." Leaf said as she walked up to a room, swiping a keycard at the door, "The two of you can practice in here." She said with Yang and Neo walking up to see inside, discovering it was a white-walled void with an outline of an arena on the floor, "See, nothing for you to break."
"We get it," Yang responded with Neo nodding.
"Good, now hand me Hitmonlee." Leaf asked, "I can help the fighting type out while you two have a double battle."
"Double battle?" Yang asked, taking out Hitmonlee's Pokeball, "So, we just throw out two Pokemon at once?"
"Exactly," Leaf said as she took it, then handed Yang a note, "Here are Larvitar's moves, have fun." She said before walking away.
As the door closed, Yang turned back to Neo, "Okay, I guess we get that battle for bed after all." She before putting away the note she finished reading.
"…" Neo did not say a word, just smirked. The two then took opposite ends of the arena, each readying two pokeballs. "…!" Neo focused as she tossed hers first, causing Hatenna and Cubone to emerge side by side.
"Munchlax, Larvitar, let's go!" Yang said as she tossed out her Pokemon.
"Munch!" the big eater Pokemon said as it appeared.
"Lar!" the rock skin Pokemon added on.
The battle began with Neo pointing, "…!" with it, Cubone launched a Bonemerang toward Larvitar.
"Larvitar, counter with Ancient Power," Yang called out with the rock skin Pokemon creating the stones with a purple aura over her head, then launched them at the target and the bone projectile. However, Neo smirked as Hatenna glowed in a blue aura, followed by the same aura coming around the Bonemerang. The bone projectile dodged the Ancient Power stones, causing Yang to gasp.
"Lar?" Larvitar said before she was hit across the face by the Bonemerang, "Larvi!" the rock skin Pokemon exclaimed in pain. On the other end of the arena, the Ancient Power collided with a blocking Cubone. While the stones crashed into his body, the damage they dealt was minimal.
"Larvitar, are you okay?" Yang asked with the rock skin Pokemon slowly pushing herself up. The blond brawler then turned to her other Pokemon, "Munchlax, rush that Cubone and hit it with a Tackle."
"Munch!" Munchlax said before running towards the lonely Pokemon. However, the big eater Pokemon heard something approaching from behind, "Lax?" he turned, but could not react in time to dodge the Bonemerang hit the back of his head. Munchlax fell on one knee as Cubone caught the bone club.
"…" Neo pointed again, causing Cubone to rush in and strike Munchlax in the front of the face with a Bone Club attack.
"Lax!" Munchlax cried as he was launched back from the strike.
"Munchlax," Yang said in panic while her Pokemon struggled to get up, causing her to look back at a smirking Neo, "Okay, we attack them as one." The blond brawler said before pointing, "Munchlax, use Fire Punch. Larvitar, use Stomping Tantrum. Both target Hatenna."
"Munch!" Munchlax said as his right fist was set ablaze.
"LAR!" Larvitar screamed as she was encompassed in a brown arura.
Both of Yang's Pokemon rushed towards the calm Pokemon.
"…" Neo smiled with Hatenna having a matching expression. The calm then glowed in a bright pink light, unleashing a Dazzling Gleam onto both targets. Munchlax and Larvitar were both momentarily blinded from the light, but Cubone still had a focused gaze. White his own brown aura, he rushed in with a stomping tantrum that smashed into Munchlax. However, the lonely Pokemon turned to see Larvitar now blindly rushing towards Hatenna, continuing her own Stomping Tantrum, "…" Neo responded with Hatenna setting up a protect, causing Larvitar to bounce off the forcefield. The rock skin Pokemon was soon ensnared with a blue aura of Confusion, then tossed back into Munchlax.
Yang gasped as Larvitar and Munchlax rolled in front of her, each heavily damaged. While Neo smirked, seeing Cubone and Hatenna with barely a scratch, "Damnit, I need a new plan." Yang said before she had an idea, "Okay, let's see you predict this. Munchlax, use Metronome!" the blond brawler called out with Neo slightly gasping.
"Munch!" Munchlax said as he stood up, then waved his fingers. "Munchlax. Munchlax. Munch-" he said before pointing, "LAX!" with that, a white light filled the area. "Munch…Lax…" the big eater Pokemon said in his sleep.
"…" Neo looked on with half-open eyes.
"WHY IS IT THAT MOVE EVERY SINGLE TIME!" Yang shouted, then sighed, "It's okay, I half expected that to happen." She said before grinning, "Larvitar, use Screech!"
"LAR!" Larvitar yelled with a pulse wave of sounds. Neo flinched at the noise, as did Cubone and Hatenna.
"Munch…Lax!" Munchlax said as he awakened from his rest.
"Nice, you're all healed up," Yang said before hitting her fist together, "Now rush in with a Fire Punch on Hatenna!"
"Munch!" Munchlax said before his fist caught fire again. While still recovering from the screech, Neo and her Pokemon did not notice Munchlax closing in. He landed a blazing strike into the calm Pokemon, sending her back in pain.
"…!" Neo panicked as Hatenna started to use Life Dew. At the same time, Cubone rushed Munchlax with another Bone Club.
"Block it!" Yang called out with Munchlax holding up his arms to tank the hit. The bone club knocked the big eater Pokemon back, but not off his feet, "Awesome, now rush in for a Tackle attack."
"Munch," Munchlax agreed before running towards Cubone.
"…" Neo pointed with Cubone tossing his club in a Bonemerang. However, Munchlax jumped the attack, "…!" Neo gasped as Munchlax expanded his body, then slammed into Cubone with a loud crash. The smoke settled to show Cubone's eyes swirling, causing Neo to gasp again.
"I-I think that was a new move you just did," Yang said with a large smile forming on her face, "Munchlax, you're so cool!" she said with the big eater Pokemon smiling back. However, Yang focused back on Neo, who glared as Hatenna finished healing, "Just one left." The blond brawler said, "Quick Larvitar, use Ancient Power!"
"Larvi!" Larvitar said before spawning the rocks over her head, then tossed them at Hatenna at high speed.
"…" Neo pointed with Hatenna using Confusion on the stones, causing them to change from a purple aura to a blue one. The rocks went back to collide with Larvitar, causing Neo to grin. However, she gasped as Larvitar radiated a strong crimson aura.
"That's the boost I was hoping for," Yang responded, "Now, use Stomping Tantrum."
"LAR!" Larvitar screamed as she rushed in again at high speed, the ground now trembling in her wake.
"…!" Neo panicked as Hatenna put up a Protect again, causing Larvitar to bounce off like before. The mute girl then pointed as Hatenna unleashed a Dazzling Gleam which ran through Larvitar's body.
"Don't give in, now's our chance," Yang called out, "Use Payback!" she said with Larvitar refocusing on Hatenna she rushed in, her body in a dark purple aura before slamming into the calm Pokemon. Neo gasped as Hatenna skidded to her feet, unable to continue battling. "W-we did it." Yang said as started to smile, raising her fists in the air, "We won!" she said with a jump of joy.
"Lar!" Larvitar added in the excitement at her first victory.
"Munchlax!" the big eater Pokemon cheered as well.
"…" Neo sighed, then smiled as she knelt to pick up Hatenna. She then looked over to Cubone walking up to her, his head hung lower. However, the mute girl smiled as she petted her Pokemon on the head, returning some joy to the lonely pokemon's face.
Cubone then turned to see Munchlax standing close by, "Munch?" the big eater Pokemon said he offered back Cubone's club.
"Cu," Cubone said with a smile as he accepted his item back, causing Munchlax to smile back.
Neo let out a slight giggle before seeing Yang walk up with Larvitar in her arms. The mute girl stood up as well, holding Hatenna. The blond brawler then extended her left hand, causing Neo to do the same, "…" the two did not say a word at the handshake but did smirk at one another.
Meanwhile in the training room next door. Hitmonlee was locked in the crushing hug of Bewear, "Okay, that's enough." Leaf ordered with her Pokemon letting go, causing the near-fainted kicking Pokemon to fall onto the floor, "We can try again in a bit." She said with a smirk, while Hitmonlee groaned with his eyes still spinning.
Hours later.
The sunset over the cruise ship as Yang and Neo returned to their room, "Man, what a day." Yang said as she fell onto the bed, "I'm gonna sleep like a baby tonight." She said before noticing all five Pokemon sleep on the couch. The blond brawler yawned before seeing Neo sit in the large chair, trying to find a comfortable position, "…Hey uh," Yang spoke, gaining Neo's attention, "You want to make a compromise?"
"…" Neo raised an eyebrow.
"Not anything you are thinking of!" Yang responded, her face red for a second, "You stay on your half, and I stay on mine. No funny business." She said before pointing with a focused gaze, "And We. Tell. Nobody. Got it?"
"…" Neo responded with a grin, then started to walk over and slid into the right side of the bed.
"Okay," Yang responded, staying on the left side of the bed, "Even though I won the battle…you did beat me at arm wrestling." She said with a sigh, her arms on the back of her head and atop the pillow, "How did you do that?"
"…" Neo reached over to grab her whiteboard, scribbling a message before showing it to Yang, "Easy." The message read, "I cheated."
"What!?" Yang said in rage, but then saw a third part of the message.
"No takebacks." It read with Neo smirking.
"You-" Yang said in anger, but then sighed, "You know what, forget it." She said before smiling, "Water under the bridge now." The blond brawler said before Neo smiled back, "Goodnight." She said before turning to head the opposite of Neo.
"…" Neo did not say a word but thought the same thing before turning off the lights and closing her eyes. However, her eyes shot open as she felt a swift kick into her right leg.
"Oops." Yang responded, "Sorry about that." She said with a slight giggle, causing Neo to pout before closing her eyes again.
AN: There you go, lot of cool stuff here. Yang's egg finally hatching, giving her a little Larvitar to add to the team. While I am not giving any of the rwby trainers in the league a starter, legend, or mythic Pokemon. I do still have pseudo legendary on the table and think this one works for Yang as a powerhouse down the line. Speaking of powerhouse, her Munchlax now knows Body Slam over Tackle. This chapter concludes with Yang and Neo getting a bit closer. To those who may ask, I am not doing Baked Alaska in this series. However, that is the ship I do like from rwby series, so I do like to tease it whenever I can.
