Arriving at Smackdown I part ways with Colby and make my way to the locker room. I walk inside and find Danielle, Renee, Nikki and Saraya. "Hi." I greet.
"How was the drive last night?" Renee asks.
"Good." I answer. "So I have some news, Colby asked me to go to Davenport with him."
"Omg are you going?" Nikki asks.
"I am, but I'm freaking out, I've never met a boyfriends parents or family before."
"You'll be fine, just be yourself and they'll love you." Nikki advises.
"So when are you meeting his family?" Renee asks.
"We are flying back to mine tonight then leaving the day after." I respond.
"You'll be fine, I've met his mom and she's a sweetheart she'll love you." Renee assures. "So you have nothing to worry about."
After dropping my stuff off, I get my schedule for the night and get ready. I change into black and purple gear and for my to hair and make-up I've got soft waves and a purple smoky eye.
I make my way to gorilla where I find Danielle. "You ready?" she asks.
"Yes." I respond.
Her music starts and she walks out to a mixed reaction. Once she's in the ring, her music dies and mine blasts and the crowd boos thunderously.
I walk out with my arms wide taunting the crowd with my title around my waist. "And her opponent, from Seattle Washington, she is the Divas Champion, Sarah." Eden announces and exits the ring.
The crowd continue to boo me as I walk down the ramp with a grin. "Here comes the champion, looking as beautiful as ever, I wonder what type of mood she's in." JBL wonders.
I get into the ring and take my title off and have a stare off with Summer. "This is as close as you'll ever get to this." I taunt.
"Sarah already mouthing off to Summer Rae." Cole announces.
I get someone to take my title and the referee rings the bell. "And this match is underway." JBL exclaims.
Summer and I instantly lock up and I push her into the ropes holding her for a four count. I step back cockily. "Come on Summer." I taunt.
She growls and charges at me but I see her coming and put my arm out and she collides into my arm. "And just like that Summer is down." JBL laughs.
Summer gets up shaking off the embarrassment and the crowd continue to boo. "Come on try again." I encourage and gesture for her to come at me. We lock up and she pushes me into the corner. She puts her foot to my neck and holds for a four count. "How dare you."
"Sarah stills seems to be mad about what happened on Monday." Cole notices.
I lock up with Summer for a third time and quickly put her in a head lock. I squeeze harder and she screams. "That's one nasty head lock." JBL winces.
Summer starts to fade and falls to one leg but the crowd seem to be on her side and quietly start to get her back. Summer makes it back to two legs and jabs her elbow into my ribs. This causes me to release my hold and she runs the ropes but I quickly recover and duck down and she runs over the top of me, I hop back up and deliver a drop kick to Summer. "Lovely dropkick by the champ." Cole compliments.
I quickly get back up and deliver a couple more and cover "1, 2." but Summer kicks out. I pull Summer up and put her into another head lock with my knee putting pressure on her spine. "Another submission hold by the Sarah, Summer hasn't had any offense at all." JBL mentions.
I continue to put pressure on her spine but the crowd begin to clap and she starts to fight out. She starts to stand but I climb up on her back and put her into a sleeper hold and starts she screeching. "Sarah with a sleeper hold."
"Poor summer."
Summer suddenly starts running backwards towards the corner and rams me into the turnbuckle. I growl in frustration. "Summer is really trying to get Sarah to release." Cole exclaims. I slide off her back and hold my back and glare at Summer. Summer runs back a bit and charges at me and squishes me in the corner and the crowd cheer. "This is where Summer really needs to take control."
I take a step forward and Summer runs at me and squishes me into the corner and the crowd cheer a little louder. I fall to the floor and Summer puts her foot against my throat. "Another foot to the throat to the champ." JBL winces.
"Summer is using those long legs to her advantage." Cole praises.
The referee counts to four and Summer gets pulled away. I use the ropes to get to my feet. "Come on Sarah, not so tough are you." she mocks.
"Is Summer mouthing off to the champ?"
"I don't think that was a very good idea." JBL warns.
I glare as she raises her hand and slaps me across the face and the crowd ooh. "What a slap." JBL and Cole shout.
I growl and lunge at her taking down to the mat and start to unloading left and rights. "Sarah is livid, she just changed gears and is unloading on Summer Rae." Cole shouts.
I pull Summer up and whip her into the corner. I charge at her and squish her. I turn and run back squishing her once more. "The roles have reversed." JBL chuckles.
"Come on Summer, not so tough are you." I taunt as I slap her in the face and the crowd boo.
"Don't mouth of to the champ she will be just as nasty." Cole warns.
"Every diva in that locker room better take notes." JBL advises.
I kick Summer in the stomach and put her into the position for the KOD. "Sarah isn't wasting any time, she wants to finish this match." Cole announces.
I lift her up over my shoulder and fling her down face first onto the mat and the impact is heard around the arena. The crowd give a loud mixed reaction. "Sarah delivers the Kiss of Death." JBL exclaims. I quickly cover "1, 2 and 3." and the referee raises my hand.
"Here is your winner, the Divas Champion, Sarah." Eden announces as I get given my championship and a mike.
"Looks like our champ has something to say." Cole points out.
My music dies and I hear the loud boos from the crowd. I raise my mike up to them. "Come on, continue." I encourage and they boo louder. "Come on, get it out."
"Sarah has such a nasty attitude." Cole disapproves.
"How dare you Michael, she is our divas champion, don't talk about her like that." JBL scolds.
The crowd quiet down. "As you saw on Monday, you are going to see the exact same thing at Money in the Bank." I declare and the crowd boo. "If you don't remember, let me remind you." I suggest and laugh as I watch the the video. I continue to watch and the crowd boo loudly after seeing me power bomb AJ through the table. "That was great." I chuckle. "Next Sunday I'm going to prove to my two opponents that I'm the best diva this company has ever seen, and when I walk out divas champion, I'm going to prove to each and every one of you, that no one can be on the same level as me." I enforce. "So send me all the hate you want, I don't care, because I rule this division, and there is no one that is going to dethrone me." I finish and drop the mike as the crowd boo loudly as my music comes back on.
I get out of the ring and make my way back up the ramp. As I get to the top Seth walks out with a huge grin on his face and the crowd boo louder. "There they are, WWE's newest power couple." JBL says excitedly.
I turn to face him and he pulls me to him. He raises my arm. "You are looking at the future." He declares.
Colby and I arrive in Tampa late that evening and as soon as we get to my apartment we crash. "Are you nervous about meeting my family?" he asks as we lay in bed.
"Yes, I've never met a boyfriends family before, so this is new to me and I'm freaking out." I admit.
"Don't freak out, my family will love you, trust me."
"You don't know that, they could take good one look at me and think I'm not good enough."
He turns my head to face him. "Hey, don't say that, you don't give yourself much credit, they will love you, I promise." he reassures and kisses me.
I deepen the kiss and let out a moan. Once I come up for breath I look into his eyes. "Thank you."
"Don't mention it, now sleep."
The next day we wake up and head out for a quick work out and breakfast. Once fed we quickly pack and make our way to the airport. We arrive at the airport and my nerves have kicked in, I haven't even made it to Davenport yet and I'm already freaking out.
As we are waiting for our flight I fumble with my fingers nervously as I think about what is going to happen. I'm meeting his family and I really hope I am good enough for them.
We arrive in Davenport and make our way to Colby's house. Once inside Colby leads me into the kitchen and places our luggage on the kitchen floor. "You hungry?" he asks.
"Starving." I answer.
"I'll put your stuff in my room and then we can head out to get some dinner?"
I nod. "Sounds good."
"Hey, I told you not to be nervous, you'll be fine tomorrow." He reassures.
"I can't help but worry, I'll always have doubts."
"I'm going to say this one more time, my family is going to love you." he repeats. I nod taking a breath. "Come on, I'll show you around."
Once I'm unpacked I quickly change into a black blouse, light denim jeans and brown ankle boots. I brush my hair out and touch up my make up. "Ready to go?" I ask Colby walking back into the living room.
"Let's go." He responds.
We arrive at a local diner and get seated in one of the booths. "Come here often?" I ask.
"Quite a lot when I was younger, this was the go to place to hang out."
"Ah, so teenage Colby used to come here." I grin. "Am I going to hear any good stories?"
"Probably."
"So when are we meeting your family?"
"Tomorrow."
"Is Mareck the guy you are starting your wrestling company with?"
"Yes, we used to tag in ROH."
We walk in the front door and crash on the couch. "My god I'm full." I groan.
He chuckles and pulls me next to him and I lay my head on his chest. "I did warn you about the food."
I send him a playful glare. "You should know by now I'm not a very good listener."
He chuckles and kisses my head. "Want to watch a movie?" He asks.
"What do you have?"
"Open that cupboard."
I stand up and open the cupboard that he pointed to and see rows full of DVDs. "Romcom?"
"Fuck no."
I let out a loud laugh. "I'm just joking, I know you hate rom coms, but FYI, I'm a big fan of them." I remind him as I search the shelves. "Harry Potter?"
"I'd be down to watch it."
"Such a nerd." I tease and bring it over to the couch. "I'll get the popcorn, you put it on."
"Yes mam."
