Alex and Yusei dismounted their duel runners and turned to face the man Yusei had called Crow. "You've got some explaining to do pal, so start talkin'," Crow said as he began approaching them. Alex got ready in case a fight was about to start. "First things first," Yusei said as he began walking to Crow.

"You asked for it," Crow responded. Alex was ready to fight Crow off, but was surprised when he and Yusei's hands met in high five before they both fist bumped each other. "Hey Yusei," Crow said with a smile. "Good to see you, Crow," Yusei responded. "Sorry if I scared ya, kid. Yusei and I are old friends," Crow said as he turned to Alex.

Alex breathed a sigh of relief, thankful that Crow didn't plan on hurting them. "Crow, this is Alex. He's a good friend and a great duelist," Yusei said as he introduced his young friend. "Well, if Yusei says you're a great duelist then you've gotta be good," Crow complimented.

"Thanks, it's nice to meet you," Alex said cordially "He's better than good Crow, he's even beaten me before, and he would've beaten me in the Fortune Cup if he hadn't surrendered the duel so I could face Jack," Yusei admitted. "You serious?" Crow asked, to which Yusei just nodded.

"Well, you really are something, kid. That's a nice duel runner," Crow said as he glanced behind Alex. "Speaking of, I see you've built your own," Yusei acknowledged. "Yeah, I finished her last year. She's a beauty right? What do you say we hit the streets?" Crow offered. "Sure," Yusei agreed. "Make sure to stick with us Alex, otherwise you might get lost," Crow advised.

A few minutes later, the three of them were driving down the street side by side. Crow turned to Yusei and started speaking to him. "So you're some kind of big shot champion now?" Crow asked. "Something like that," Yusei responded. "Hey, don't forget if it wasn't for me you wouldn't have that title, Yusei," Alex reminded, causing all three of them to laugh.

Soon, they were sitting on top of a broken section of the street that was angled into the air. "So Goodwin captured your friends and forced you to duel in that tournament?" Crow asked, having been filled in on everything by Yusei. "Yeah, but now I need to make sure they're safe," Yusei responded.

"Well then, let's head over to your old hideout," Crow suggested. Alex took note of the empty streets and thought it was strange. "Hey Crow, has anything weird been going on around here lately?" he asked. "It's funny you should ask, these creepy guys have been coming around lately. There's one of them right down there," Crow answered as he pointed down to the street where a man in a cloak was walking with a group of people following behind him.

"They spout these wacky teachings, trying to round up followers. I hear they're gathering everyone deep in the Satellite," he continued. "Wait, you mean underground?" Yusei asked. "Things have gotten crazy around here, Yusei," Crow commented. Alex and Yusei turned to each other and gave a silent nod, knowing they'd have to look into this.

A few minutes later, Alex, Yusei, and Crow were driving through the abandoned subway tunnels, headed to Yusei's hideout. They pulled up in front of the place and Yusei's friends greeted him. "Thanks for helping my friends, Blister," Yusei said. "Don't mention it," Blister responded.

That's when Alex and Crow walked up. "Is this a private club or can anyone join?" Crow asked. Yusei's friends welcomed him and commented they didn't recognize him with the helmet and runner. "Yeah, Yusei's not the only turbo charged runner in Satellite anymore," Crow commented.

"Who's the kid?" Rally asked as he turned to Alex. "This is Alex. He's a good friend of mine. He actually surrendered his duel with me in the Fortune Cup so I could duel Jack," Yusei informed. Before they could welcome him, a voice on a megaphone interrupted them.

"This is Sector Security. ID Number AWX74098, give yourself up!" a man shouted. "Yusei's not the only one with a knack for ticking off Sector Security," Crow said as he scratched at the criminal mark on his face. Sector Security then threw a smoke grenade down the crack in the street.

"We need to split up. Alex, you go with Yusei's friends and meet us at the Daedalus Bridge in 2 hours. Yusei and I will lead Sector Security away," Crow said before he mounted his duel runner. "Alright, be careful guys," Alex warned. "Come out Crow, don't make this difficult. You can't escape this time," one of the Security Officers shouted.

Crow then burst out of the subway exit on his duel runner and drove off. "There he goes! You won't be able to hide from our new pursuit bot, Crow!" the officer yelled as a small drone was launched from the truck. "Wow, so you've got some new toys?" Crow jested. He proceeded to make many twists and turns, but he couldn't lose the drone.

"Man, this thing is gonna be tough to shake," he complained. "Need some help?" Yusei asked before both his and Crow's duel runners were overridden by the security drone, activating their duel mode. "So it's a tag duel?" Yusei asked.

Yusei & Crow: 4000 LP

Security: 4000 LP

"I'll go first, and I play Gate Blocker in defense mode," the Sector Security Officer declared.

Level 4/Earth/Rock

ATK 100/DEF 2000

"Talk about boring, you guys always start with this monster," Crow pointed out. "Well how's this for some variety? I tribute Gate Blocker to summon Gate Blocker 2 in defense mode," the officer said.

Level 6/Earth/Rock

ATK 100/DEF 3000

"As long as this monster is in play, you can't gain speed counters from Speed World. Next I place 3 cards face-down and end my turn," the officer concluded. "It's about time you guys got an upgrade. It's my move," Crow said. "Not so fast, I play the continuous trap Full Throttle. With it, I gain an additional Speed Counter during each standby phase," the officer explained.

SS SPC: 2

Y & C SPC: 0

"I guess they're trying to stop us from using Speed Spells. Well if these jokers didn't have some kind of skills, this wouldn't be any fun," Crow said with a smirk. "And now I play the continuous trap Speed Edge. During each player's standby phase, you take 300 damage times the difference in the number of our speed counters. Since I have two and you have none, you take 600 points of damage," the officer explained as a blast of energy shot from the trap, hitting Crow in the back.

Y & C: 3400 LP

"You alright Crow?" Yusei asked. "It takes more than a little tickle to rattle this guy. And I'll prove it by summoning Blackwing - Bora the Spear in attack mode," Crow declared.

Level 4/Dark/Winged Beast

ATK 1700/DEF 800

"And since I control a Blackwing monster, I can special summon the tuner monster Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind from my hand," he continued.

Level 3/Dark/Winged Beast

ATK 1300/DEF 400

"And now that he's on my field, I can use his special ability. Once a turn, Gale can halve the attack and defense points of one of your monsters," Crow explained as his monster flapped its wings, sending a gust of air at Gate Blocker.

Gate Blocker 2 DEF: 3000-1500

"In that case, I play the trap Defender's Mind. With it, the defense points of all my monsters get doubled, so Gate Blocker's defense is back to 3000. Let's see your bird brained buffoons get past this defense. Better luck next time Crow," the officer mocked. "They've got a strong defense set up, and they're dealing direct damage by suppressing our speed counters. Any ideas?" Yusei asked.

"Only one, but if it doesn't work, we may have to book a room at the facility tonight. I tune level 3 Gale the Whirlwind to level 4 Bora the Spear in order to synchro summon Blackwing - Armor Master," Crow declared.

Level 7/Dark/Winged Beast

ATK 2500/DEF 1500

"Now attack his monster!" he ordered as Armor Monster delivered a punch to Gate Blocker, but didn't leave a scratch. "Are you kidding me? Your monster doesn't have enough attack points to beat mine, but now you're gonna take damage," the officer mocked.

"Not with Armor Master's special ability about to kick in. You see when he battles, I take no damage," Crow explained as Armor Master pulled his hand back, but left a large black spike lodged in Gate Blocker. "I place two cards face down and end my turn," he continued. "It's my turn. And due to the effect of Speed Edge, since the difference in the number of our speed counters is now 4, you take 1200 points of damage," the second officer explained.

Y&C: 2200 LP

"I summon Gate Defender in defense mode and end my turn," he continued.

Level 4/Earth/Rock

ATK 0/DEF 2000-4000

"Did you ever run into Officer Trudge? He used the same monster against me in one of our duels. It can negate one monster's attack every turn," Yusei explained. "Don't worry. I've set this up for us, you've just gotta knock 'em down," Crow assured. "Okay then. It's my turn, I draw," Yusei declared. "Not so fast. Due to the effect of Speed Edge, since I have 6 more speed counters than you, you take 1800 points of damage," the second officer reminded.

Y&C: 400 LP

"Hang in there buddy," Crow encouraged. "Will do. I summon Turbo Synchron in attack mode," Yusei declared.

Level 1/Wind/Machine

ATK 100/DEF 500

"And I play the trap Level Retuner. This will drop Armor Master's level by 2, making him a level 5. But before we continue, Armor Master's effect activates. You see, when he attacked your Gate Blocker, he left a Wedge Counter on it, and by removing that Wedge Counter, your monster's attack and defense become 0," Crow explained as the spike embedded in Gate Blocker vanished, cracks spreading throughout the monster.

Gate Blocker 2 DEF: 3000-0

"Say what?!" both officers exclaimed. "And now Turbo Synchron tunes with the now level 5 Armor Master to synchro summon Turbo Warrior!" Yusei shouted.

Level 6/Wind/Machine

ATK 2500/DEF 1500

"And due to Turbo Warrior's effect, he can't be the target of effects from monsters that are level 6 or lower, so Gate Defender can't negate his attack," he explained. "And I play the Ebon Arrow trap card. With it, even though Turbo Warrior loses 500 attack points this turn, if he attacks your monster in defense mode, he deals piercing damage," Crow explained.

"Not good," the first officer said nervously. "And as an added bonus, you also get slammed for the destroyed monster's original defense points," Crow continued. "Now Turbo Warrior, attack!" Yusei shouted before his monster drove his fist into Gate Blocker, crushing the monster in a single blow.

SS LP: 2000

"And now due to the effect of Ebon Arrow, you take damage equal to your monster's original defense, which amounts to 3000 points," Yusei reminded as an arrow was launched from Crow's trap, lodging in the drone's camera and disabling it.

SS LP: 0

Winners: Yusei and Crow

"Agh! He got away again!" one of the officers complained as the screen in their truck filled with static. Yusei and Crow gave each other a fist bump as they drove away from Sector Security. "We did it, Crow," Yusei rejoiced. "You've gotten a lot better since the old days," his friend complimented.

"You really think so?" Yusei asked. "By the way, did you hear about Jack? Some reporter found out he's really from the Satellite and now he's gone off the grid," Crow informed. "He disappeared?" Yusei asked. "So are you still ticked at him for what he did?" Crow questioned.

"Not anymore. Jack did what he thought he had to at the time. He thought if he didn't grab that opportunity he'd be stuck in the Satellite for the rest of his life. I can't blame him for making a choice when he didn't think he had one," Yusei responded. "Wow man, you're a bigger person than I am," Crow admitted.
