Chapter 6: The Hatching
Within the next couple of days the egg began showing signs that it would hatch soon. Clefairy still carried it around, treating it like it was her own, and Ash was only barely able to convince her to let it go to train. It would rock and shake whenever Clefairy wasn't holding it, which Ash thought was a good sign. He still had no idea what Pokemon was in it, but he was excited nonetheless.
It was in the middle of the night when Clefairy woke Ash up and signaled towards the egg. Ash was sleeping in the sole bedroom of the abandoned house, with his team spread out around him. Blizz slept on the foot of the bed, curled up in as tight of a ball as the little Pokemon could get. Buzz was laying on his back with his wings sprawled out on top of the dresser, and Clefairy had found a little cushion bed on the ground that looked like it was meant for an Eevee. She had carried it over to one of the corners where the two walls met, and she set the egg in the center of the bed as she held onto it and leaned against the two corners. Ash hoped that she didn't always sleep in a sitting position like that, but she didn't seem to have any issues so he didn't push it.
This was how they had gone to sleep, but currently Clefairy was tugging the blankets off and pointing towards the egg. Ash rubbed his eyes to get rid of some of the sleep before looking at the curious egg. It was shaking vigorously and cracks were starting to form.
Ash jumped out of bed, all traces of sleep gone as he rushed over to turn the lights on and then move his attention to the little bed that the egg was on. He watched as cracks began to appear on the top of the egg. He almost gasped as a piece of it flew off and a small stubby hand poked out of the shell.
Blizz let out a small squeal at the sudden burst of lights and tried to roll away from the light, but Buzz saw what was happening and slowly made his way next to Ash. Ash watched as more of the egg shattered around, and he saw another arm poke out, followed by a snout on the top of the shell. The little Pokemon seemed stuck like this for a while before it managed to fall forward and burst the egg open.
Ash looked down at the strange little Pokemon as it looked back up at him. He had been through the whole Kanto Pokedex, with specific attention to the Water types there, but he did not recognize this little thing. Its body was a turquoise blue, with a tan piece in the front and large red scales protruding from its back and tail. It had a very long snout, which was quite a bit different from all of Ash's other Pokemon. It had short stubby arms, which ended in two little hands with short, stubby fingers.
Clefairy squeaked at the little Pokemon and quickly ran forward to embrace it. It accepted the hug from her easily, while still looking around at the others in the room. Buzz chittered to it and nodded his head, while Blizz barely lifted his head off the ground to wave before crawling under the bed to go back to sleep.
That just left Ash to introduce himself to this strange new Pokemon. Clefairy set the new Pokemon down and Ash sat down on the ground to be closer to it.
"Hi. I'm Ash. This is your family. That's Clefairy, Buzz, and under the bed is Blizz. You're safe with us and we are trying to become strong enough that nobody will ever be able to hurt us. How does that sound?" Ash asked.
The blue reptilian looked Ash up and down before nodding with a glint in its eye. Ash took that as a positive sign and started crawling back into bed.
"Clefairy, wake me up if you need anything." Ash said as Clefairy grabbed the small Pokemon and went back to the small bed. Ash knew that Clefairy wouldn't let anything happen to it, and he fell asleep quickly.
XX
Ash checked through the whole Pokedex again and still could not find the little guy. This made him even more excited, because that meant that it would be a rare Pokemon in Kanto, even if it wasn't rare in other regions. He quickly switched his Pokedex to the global mode and began his search. It didn't take him long before he found the entry he was looking for.
Totodile, The Big Jaw Pokemon.
Despite the smallness of its body, Totodile's jaws are very powerful. While the Pokemon may think it is just playfully nipping, it has enough bite power to cause serious injury.
This Pokemon can evolve twice and is often one of the starting Pokemon that Professor Elm gives out to starting trainers. Outside of Professor Elm's farm, Totodile are very rare and were thought to be extinct until…
Ash looked up from the Pokedex with a huge smile on his face. A rare Pokemon from Johto that a Professor took personal interest in? Totodile was sure to be a powerhouse!
"Okay guys, we have about three months to train before we have to hit the road. Let's get as strong as we can in that time!" Ash said to his team. With a mixture of noises signaling replies, the training began.
XX
The next three months went by relatively quickly. When Ash wasn't instructing his team, he was either training himself or studying on the Pokedex. Ash made sure to read up everything he could on the Pokemon that he had, but he also familiarized himself with the rest of the Kanto dex as well. He gave the whole global Pokedex a few once overs, but the likelihood of him encountering most of those Pokemon was very slim. Ash was much more concerned with the Pokemon he would actually encounter, and making sure he knew how to counter them.
Ash also learned a lot about his team during this time. Instead of just trying to learn new move after new move, he decided to focus on getting stronger and battle strategy. Each of his Pokemon had their own unique style, and Ash had to learn how to work with each of them.
Buzz's new favorite move was Double Team, and it fit perfectly with his style of battle. Being a bug type Pokemon, his carapace wasn't very durable and he preferred to just never get hit. So Buzz would just zoom around, lashing out with his distance attacks while in Double Team before coming in close to finish it off with a Bug Bite, Rock Smash or Poison Jab.
Blizz, on the other hand was the exact opposite. He had obviously grown up around Brock, as he preferred to stand his ground and just take and dish out hits. He didn't like Double Team or any moves with deception, and just preferred to use his naturally strong hide to absorb damage and dish it out. Ash had to convince him that he couldn't just tank everything and that he did need to dodge some, which the Sandshrew listened to begrudgingly. Naturally then, he loved learning Counter from Clefairy.
Clefairy preferred Dazzling Gleam, and didn't like up close battles. She was actually very stubborn in not wanting to learn many techniques for physical combat, and so even though she had the largest opportunity to learn new moves she was lacking the most. However, her and Totodile had both learnt Water Gun, which gave her a little extra fire power. Ash knew she had the ability to learn moves from all of the elements, but he had no idea how to teach them to her.
Totodile was probably the one that Ash had the most fun with. Having just been hatched, he had to spend the first week without training, as he was still getting used to his body. So Ash and Totodile would just watch the others train. As soon as Totodile was allowed to train, he went at it with a passion. It seemed that Totodile wanted to be better than everyone at everything. So when Blizz was teaching him scratch, he was trying to scratch harder than Blizz. When Buzz taught him Double Team, he wanted to produce more copies than Buzz. When he was learning Water Gun at the same time as Clefairy, he wanted to be more powerful than her. That was the closest one, as he figured it out before she did, and he had a short victory before she figured out the technique and was able to overpower him due to her age and strength advantage. He had even tried to take up flying after a challenge from Buzz, but quickly learned he wouldn't be able to accomplish that.
Totodile was funny though, because he was always challenging the others to battles that there was no way he could win. He would get done with a training exercise and try to show off to the others about how strong he was before they had to put him in his place. From Ash's reading in the Pokedex, this was a normal thing for members of the Totodile line, as they were trying to figure out their place in the pack dynamic. However, by the tenacity with which Totodile tried to overpower the others Ash guessed he was a naturally dominant member of his species, which was potentially dangerous if as a Feraligatr he didn't find his team or his trainer worthy. Ash didn't think he would have to worry about this, as it would take time before Totodile evolved and Ash felt like he was a good leader. He was excited for the days when Buzz might not be the strongest on the team, however.
If Ash had to guess, there were two reasons Buzz was so much stronger than the others. First, Ash had been training him intentionally for Pokemon battles right out of the egg and he was the only fully evolved member of his team, and second because of his wings. Ash would have Buzz spar 2v1 with Blizz and Clefairy, and his speed and deception made it almost impossible for them to hit him. It was a great training workout for everyone, and one that Totodile was far too eager to join. 3v1 proved to be great stamina training for Buzz, but with Totodile being easily dispatched with a single Electroweb it still wasn't a fair fight. To make up for it, Ash had Buzz work on arm strength and wing strength by carrying the other Pokemon around. Clefairy refused to be picked up, but Blizz and Totodile were both willing.
Just like that, the three months it took for the supplies to run down came by too quickly. When it came down to the last Pokeball of Pokemon food, Ash knew it was time to start moving. Ash called his team together and began to talk.
"Okay guys. These last three months have been great. Clefairy, Blizz, you guys are way stronger now than you were when I first caught you. Totodile, you've gotten so strong too!" Ash said. Totodile responded with a triumphant water gun into the air.
Ash laughed as he continued. "However, we are running out of food and we can't stay here forever. I know it's easy to forget, but Team Rocket is in charge and they've said that I'm not allowed to have more than two Pokemon. They would take you away and give you to someone else. But we aren't going to let that happen. We are going to travel all the way across Kanto and reach Cinnabar Island, where we will be able to train without anybody trying to take you guys away. In the meantime, however, we are going to have to travel through Team Rocket territory. That means I'm going to have to wear my uniform, and I can only have two of your Pokeballs on my belt at a time. The other two will have to be in my bag, hidden."
All of the Pokemon looked at each other, trying to figure out who was going to be in the bag. Although Ash hadn't technically captured Totodile yet, he had explained to him what a Pokeball was. The idea of being stuck in the Pokeball for days on end wasn't appealing to anybody, but they knew it was necessary given the circumstance.
"I am going to be keeping Buzz and Clefairy on my belt. They are the only two native to Kanto and if I have to battle for some reason having a Clefairy as my second Pokemon is much more likely than a Totodile or an Alolan Sandshrew. If all goes well, we will be back on the road and I'll be able to let everybody out every night to train."
Everyone nodded, knowing that it was necessary. Ash grabbed one of the Pokeballs that Brock had given him and pointed it towards Totodile.
"Okay Buddy, you've gotta get inside this," Ash said as Totodile eyed it wearily. After a minute he nodded, and Ash pressed the Pokeball on the small Pokemon. Totodile was sucked up into the red light and the ball twitched twice in Ash's hand before going still.
Ash sighed as he looked at the others. "Your turn," He said as he grabbed each of their Pokeballs and recalled all of them. Ash grabbed his bag, put on his old Team Rocket uniform, and took one last look around the house that he had stayed at for the past three months. His eyes lingered on the machine that had healed his Pokemon time and time again, and gave a silent thanks to it. There was no way he could have trained as hard as he did if he would have relied solely on the berries outside for healing, especially with Buzz accidently poisoning his teammates as often as he did. Ash thought back to the pool downstairs where he had found Totodile and where Clefairy and Totodile would swim and work on Water Gun, and let out a sigh. He didn't want to leave, but he knew he had no choice. He turned his back on his borrowed home and walked out the front door.
X
He spent an extra 15 minutes picking berries to fill his bag up with. He grabbed as many Sitrus and Pecha berries as he could find, knowing that they would be the most useful. Sitrus berries had the greatest healing properties, and Pecha berries would counteract the toxins from Buzz's poison. After that, Ash headed west towards Nugget Bridge which would lead him down to Cerulean. The Team Rocket uniform was tighter on Ash than he remembered, which made Ash feel good about himself. He had been training pretty hard himself over the past three months, mainly just running and pushups, and even though most of the growth was probably just getting taller he still felt like his muscles seemed a little bit bigger. The uniform wasn't small enough to seem out of place, which kept Ash from being afraid that people might be able to notice that he didn't belong.
X
It took Ash most of the morning before he found Nugget Bridge. Luckily the Pokedex had a map feature on it and he was able to plan out his route before he ever left the house, but he was still relieved when he saw the bridge that would lead him down to Cerulean. He still hadn't seen any people yet, which he didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing.
It took him another hour and a half of walking down the bridge before he arrived in Cerulean city. Ash walked around the large town for close to 15 minutes before spotting the red roof that signified the Pokemon Center, and made a beeline for it.
Stepping inside, Ash walked up to the front counter and waited until Nurse Joy turned to look at him.
"What can I do for you today, sir?" Nurse Joy asked politely.
"I need some supplies for the road please, I'm on a special mission to Lavender town." Ash said just as he had rehearsed to himself over and over on the way over.
"Oh how quaint! And what was your name? Let me see if they already put what you need in the system for us!"
"Oh um…. it's Ash…. But um.. I don't think I'll be in there, they just uh assigned me and it's supposed to be top secret so um I'm not sure they want it online!" Ash stammered out.
Nurse Joy looked up from her computer and stared straight into his eyes for a second before looking back at the computer and pressing some buttons.
"Correct you are! Okay then, right this way with me, let's just go into the back here and get you what you'll need." The nurse said as she gestured for Ash to follow her. Ash hesitated for a second but remembered that Brock had told him the Nurse Joys' were all friends, so Ash followed.
Nurse Joy led Ash around the counter and into the back of the building. After they had turned the corner and entered a smaller room, Nurse Joy's composure changed drastically.
"What are you thinking boy? Saying your actual name, are you trying to get captured or something? Gosh these young trainers are so stupid these days! Well, do you have anything to say for yourself?" She basically yelled at the unsuspecting boy.
"I, uh, what? I don't understand." Ash stuttered back, in clear shock from the situation.
"That message came out three months ago! You can't have been walking around using your real name at every other Pokecenter you've gone to. Any one of my cousins would have corrected you. So what is it huh? Too dumb to remember to use an alias?"
"What are you talking about? I haven't seen any other Nurse Joy's. I've been all by myself northeast of here. I only came down because I need more food and then I'm trying to get to Cinnabar where my team and I can be safe." Ash said back. He didn't know why he was telling her all of this, but it felt good to talk tell another human.
Nurse Joy's posture visibly changed as she realized the situation.
"For three months? How did you get enough food… You must have been at Bill's old house, I'm sure Misty would have had food stored somewhere around there. Ah yes, I see. Well then you wouldn't have known. How could you have? Ah you poor thing, I'm so sorry.."
Ash looked at her, confused, as she went on.
"Brock was captured. Giovanni has sent notices out all around Kanto with your name and description on it. You are supposed to be captured and returned to him if seen. There's quite a reward for it too, so using your real name would alert any member of Team Rocket to turn you in."
Ash was stunned. He had hoped that Brock had made it out safe, but he knew what had probably happened to him. To actually hear it was something completely different. Ash had spent the last three months in total bliss, training with his team and not caring about the outside world at all. He had focused so much on learning and training that he was able to forget that he was a fugitive, that people would take his team away. And for there to be a reward on his head too…
"Oh, wow that's a lot…" Ash mumbled in response.
"Yes, dear, I'm afraid it is. So what is your plan now? How are you going to get to Cinnabar?"
"I uh, I was going to head as far east on Route 9 as possible before heading south and trying to get there. I want to avoid all the major cities so I can stay as unnoticed as possible." Ash said. He had given the plan a lot of thought, and knew that this would be the best route.
"Hmmm," Nurse Joy said as she thought. "Yes, that just might work. Now, let me gather some stuff for you. Come, let Chansey take a look at your Pokemon too, it's been three months since they've had a proper check up." Nurse Joy said as she started gathering supplies.
"I think they should be fine." Ash said as he cracked a grin. "I was using Nurse Delta at Bill's house, she was able to keep them all healed up."
"That stupid machine of his? Nonsense, they need physical touch from a real Pokemon that understands them! Not some silly machine." Nurse Joy said fiercely. Ash could have argued with her, but decided against it and handed over his 4 Pokeballs.
XX
"Now remember, whenever you walk into a Pokemon Center tell my cousin that you have a special message from Nurse Joy. They all know that this is the code and will help out in whatever capacity they can. Use your alias, don't mention your real name. And good luck!" Nurse Joy said as she ushered Ash out the door.
He had been inside the Pokemon Center for about an hour. During that time, Nurse Joy had lectured him on how to properly care for his Pokemon, why a machine could never do her job, as well as given him a hot meal and plenty of food for the road. Ash was grateful for the help, but was looking forward to being back on the road. He hurried away from the Pokemon Center and made his way through town to the east.
X
Ash examined the clearing he was in, trying to see if there was any way that someone could sneak up on him without him noticing. It was evening, and he had made it about halfway through Route 9. He had let Buzz out as soon as they were outside the city limits, as it wouldn't be suspicious for him to have a Beedrill and Ash felt a lot safer with Buzz nearby. Ash had asked Buzz to scout ahead to try and find a place where they could release the rest of the team without being disturbed.
The clearing that Buzz had found was about a half mile off of the path, and required quite a hike up some ledges to get to. Ash found it to his liking and released his full team. They appeared with a mixture of noises announcing their arrival.
"Alright guys, we made it out of Cerulean! Let's get some hard training in tonight before we hit the road again tomorrow. I want everyone working themselves to exhaustion; let's make your moves stronger. You will have plenty of time to rest in your Pokeballs tomorrow!" With that, they began training.
X
The next day went by in a similar manner. Ash walked with Buzz during the day, and then stopped at night to train. In his training that night he thought he saw a Sudowoodo watching him from the trees, but when he looked again he didn't see anything. He figured if the wild Pokemon wanted to make himself known then he would, otherwise Ash wouldn't mind.
On the third day of travelling, Ash crossed over from Route 9 to Route 10, and he knew he was probably a day's journey from the Pokemon Center that was before Rock Tunnel. When he stopped to train that night however, something unexpected happened.
Ash was trying to help Clefairy take advantage of ice type moves with Blizz when suddenly Totodile came running towards them, screeching as he came. Ash looked behind Totodile and saw what he was running from.
Chasing after the mischievous water type was a large Raticate followed by a handful of Rattata that looked suspiciously wet. Ash realized that Totodile must have started shooting Water Gun's at the young Rattata, and their mother wasn't very happy about it.
"Totodile, Double Team! You can't outrun it, you've gotta distract it!" Ash said. He looked up to see that Buzz was watching the whole scene, ready to step in if necessary. Ash and Buzz both thought this would be a great experience for Totodile to test himself.
Totodile listened to Ash's words and split into three different copies, each running a different direction. It was perfect timing too, because the Raticate had just closed the distance with a quick attack and launched into the middle Totodile with a Hyper Fang. It vanished underneath the Raticate, seriously confusing the aggressor.
The other two Totodile kept running towards Ash. They were only about 50 yards away, a perfect distance for a battle to take place. However, after seeing the Raticate's Quick Attack and Hyper Fang, Ash changed his mind and decided this wasn't a battle that Totodile could win.
"Blizz, go get it buddy!" Ash said as he pointed Totodile's Pokeball at the Totodile he thought was the real one. Sure enough, both Totodile's vanished as the real one was sucked into the ball in Ash's hand.
Raticate had just regained its bearings and was preparing to go after one of the other Totodile's right as they vanished, which infuriated the rat type even more. Luckily for it, Blizz provided an outlet for that rage as he issued a battle cry and threw a couple of Icicle Spears at it for good measure.
The Raticate roared at its disrespectful enemy and charged towards Blizz with Quick Attack.
"Tank it. Hit it with Counter as it hits you." Ash said to Blizz, knowing this is what the little Pokemon wanted.
Raticate slammed into Blizz with Quick Attack. Blizz was knocked back some, but not before landing a solid hit on the wild Pokemon. This only angered it even more, and it launched itself towards Blizz with a Hyper Fang ready.
"Ice Punch until it gets off of you, then try to hit it with Iron Tail before it can retreat!" Ash called out.
Ash watched as the Raticate landed with its jaws squarely on Blizz's midsection. If this had been Totodile it would have been extremely bad, but since Blizz was basically made from ice and steel it was a minor inconvenience. However, the Raticate didn't know this, and thought he had won the fight and began shaking Blizz back and forth for good measure.
What it wasn't expecting then, was a fist to hit it right on the jaw. If that wasn't enough, Blizz landed another punch on the normal type's snout, as well as one on its eye before it let go, hissing as it was half-blinded. Blizz landed on his feet and quickly did a half flip to slam his tail, glowing with steel energy into the Raticate to send it tumbling a few feet away.
The Raticate was hissing madly now, half-blind and obviously in a lot of pain. Ash hoped that it would just leave now, but from what he had read in the Pokedex that probably wasn't the case.
"Bide if it comes again. Just enough to finish it off, I don't want to harm it too much." Ash said to Blizz.
Blizz nodded to Ash before looking back at his opponent. Sure enough, the Raticate got back up and began launching a barrage of fury swipes at Blizz. Blizz took the blows, building up energy and getting ready to release it in one big attack. After a short time, Blizz released the energy and delivered a blow directly to the chest of the injured Raticate. It was launched back a few feet where it lay, unconscious.
Ash scanned the area around him. It was empty, except for the Rattata that were watching their mother fight from the distance. Ash looked around the tree line and saw… something. "Buzz, go check over there! I think that Sudowoodo is still following us around." Ash commanded to his Beedrill. It was extremely unlikely for a Sudowoodo to be in this area of Kanto, but Ash swore the trees had eyes. Maybe he was just paranoid, as Buzz reported back that there were no Pokemon in the immediate woods.
"Okay. Great fight Blizz!" Ash said as he congratulated the Sandshrew. He had taken some hits and would need some time to rest up, but he had taken out a more experienced and older opponent because of the training they had been doing.
Ash took out a Sitrus berry from his pack and gave it to Blizz to eat before returning him and Clefairy. Finally, Ash unloaded about half of the Sitrus berries from his bag and left them in front of the unconscious Raticate. Ash knew that being a wild Pokemon meant fighting with others for territory, and he hoped that the Raticate would be able to heal up quickly before needing to duke it out with any other challengers. The Raticate was actually pretty strong, and if it weren't for Blizz's steel hide their battle might have gone the other way.
Ash thought about trying to capture it but quickly disregarded the idea. He already had his hands full with his current team, plus he couldn't take the mother away from its children. Add to the thought that like 50% of Team Rocket had Raticate or Rattata and Ash had no desire to follow in everyone's footsteps.
With all of the excitement for the day done, Ash followed Buzz to find a safe place to camp for the night.
X
As Ash expected, he arrived at the Pokemon Center before Rock Tunnel around noon on the 4th day after he left Cerulean. He remembered the proper way to introduce himself to Nurse Joy, and she escorted him to the back where he was able to unload all four of his Pokeballs for Chansey to take and gather supplies for the trip ahead.
After about an hour, Ash was all ready to leave and about to head out the main entrance to start his trip in Rock Tunnel when Nurse Joy called to him.
"Oh Jonathan?" She said. It took him a moment to realize she was talking to him, as that was the alias that he had given her. "Yes Nurse Joy?" Ash responded.
"You said you are going through Rock Tunnel, correct?" She asked. Ash nodded an affirmative.
"Well perfect! Leaf here is also going that way. You guys should travel together, there is always safety in numbers!" Nurse Joy said as she pointed to the person who must be Leaf. Ash looked and saw that she was quite a bit older than him, but still young, probably late teens or early twenties. She had long brown hair that she wore underneath a white buckle hat that had a red semicircle on it. She wore long white sleeves with red stripes at the end over her arms and legs, and wore boots with a large enough heel that gave her an extra couple of inches in height. The worst part was that she was wearing a Black Team Rocket shirt with the insignia on the shoulder that told Ash she was a Senior Officer. Instead of the typical black skirt that was worn, she had a white one with the same red line at the bottom, but Ash couldn't believe that Nurse Joy would want him to travel with a Senior Officer.
He glared daggers at Nurse Joy before turning towards the Senior Officer. Her eyes were on him, sizing him up as well. "Hello Senior Officer Leaf! It would be an honor to be able to travel with you!" Ash said in his best suck up voice.
"And who told you I was a Senior Officer?" Leaf asked backed sharply.
"Um, the insignia on your uniform?" Ash answered back hesitantly. Was she testing him? "Just like how the insignia on mine signifies that I am an Agent and not just a Grunt. I pay attention in class!" Ash added.
"Hmmm… Very well. And what is the difference between Senior Officer and a regular Officer?" She asked again. Ash listed off the differences. That she had gone through more of the Rocket courses, been in charge of multiple Team Rocket missions and had probably evolved quite a few Pokemon. It had been months since Ash had thought about any of this stuff, but he had spent most of his childhood researching how to rank up quickly and probably knew more about the Senior Officer role than most Officers did.
"So you see why I am doing you such a favor allowing you to travel with me. Just by travelling with me through Rock Tunnel you will be looked on with special favor from others. So you were correct in saying it will be an honor for you to travel with me." Leaf said to Ash as she looked back at Nurse Joy.
Ash really did not like this girl.
"Now come along, let's see if you really do pay attention in class." She said, as she walked through the doors of the Pokemon Center. Ash glared back at Nurse Joy. She just smiled back at him. He sighed, shook his head and followed Leaf. Ash just hoped that they would only be in the tunnel for a few days.

Thank you guys for reading! I know this was a slower chapter and also took a long time to write! There should be a lot more action in the next chapter!
Also quick update: I am no longer trying to hit a certain word count on my chapters. I have read some great fanfic that is unfinished and it's honestly terrible to get 400k+ words in and the author stops updating (I'm looking at you, Challenger). Not that my story is great, or that it will be that long, but I don't want to leave it unfinished. That being said, I have the full plot of the story lined out and I will just post chapters as plot points. Some chapters may be longer, but some may be 5k words or less like this one. I just want to make sure I get the story completed.
Also, what did you guys think of Ash getting Totodile? Let me know by leaving a review!
