(I'm stuck in a never-ending dream. Where my wishes and hopes cannot be seen) – (As the title fades were shown Ryuichi as he stands in Glastonbury Abbey looking over King Arthur's grave in thought.)
(And it's killing me, but I can't let go) – (In the main room of the ORC, Rias is shown to be looking out the main window with a forlorn look in her eyes before closing them in sad contemplation. A tear falls from her right eye as she thinks of Ryuichi.)
(There's a sadness raining down on me. And the future is looking oh so bleak) – (Ryuichi stands in forested area of Kuoh Academy in the middle of the rain as he summons the Invisible Air in his hands, looking upon the blade wondering what form it really is. Rias watches him from outside with an umbrella over her head as her fears manifest in the form of Riser Phenex with his back behind her yet on fire.)
(But I'm holding on, so dearly, to precious memories) – (The two then suddenly turn to and see each other from their respective spots looking back at each other with longing in their eyes and smiling at each other. Rias' fears in the form of Riser banish away in the process as the Rain stops and the sun soon shines through the clouds.)
(To protect the ones I cherish I've got to be stronger) – (The scene then changes to the rest of the ORC, Issei, Kiba, Koneko, Asia, and Akeno, in the daytime as everyone is together talking and enjoying tea as Ryuichi looks in the mirror and sees King Arthur's visage over his.)
(Don't want to hesitate, I wanna to be braver) – (The scene then cuts to Kiba and Ryuichi standing far with their blades drawn for training as the two swordsmen prepare to duel with the rest of the ORC cheering them on.)
(So no matter what may come I can face the morning sun) – (The next scene then turns dark as it shows the Fallen Angel group, with Dohnaseek, Mittelt, and Kalawarner sitting in the rooftop of the church and ray are levitating above them, and a large group of stray exorcists on ground floor.)
(Brave Shine!) – (The two sides begin their conflict, with Ryuichi engaging Dohnaseek with his Invisible Air as sparks fly.)
(Cause you brought me to your world and gave me light) – (Rias and Akeno then blast the large group of Exorcists with both lighting and Power of Destruction, clearing away a good amount of them as Koneko unleashes a shockwave by slamming her fist to the floor, erupting the earth and taking out many of them too.)
(On the night I suffered most, you saved my life) – (The scene then pans to Kiba and Freed as the two attempt to strike the other with sparks flying between.)
(Wielding all the things that we believe in; A test of faith I know I can win) – (The scene then show Issei and Ryuichi as they take on Milttelt, Kalwarner, and Raynare. The next scene swiftly changes to Ryuichi charging up his sword with light before slamming it to the ground, blinding everything in yellow and white light.)
(I'll grant us love and peace for all time) – (The scene then cuts to Ryuichi after the fight as he stands with Excalibur in his hands as everyone rallies in front of the ruined church as the group then smiles at their newest friend and he walks to join them.)
(Cause you shine!) – (The last scene shows King Arthur's grave at Glastonbury Abbey with Excalibur stuck into the grave marker as the title card shows once again.)

Chapter 5: Normal Devil Life
Garden of Avalon – Main Tower Room
Once again, I find myself standing in the tower of the famed mage of flowers. But now as I look I don't see the mage himself.
As I look around the room, I notice the only doorway that leads deeper into the tower, I always thought that merlin was stuck out here to look at the Garden forever, but I guess when you're here for thousands of years you get some time to yourself.
As I entered the room I called out to the mage, "Merlin? Are you here?"
Nothing, not a reply. "Merlin?"
"J-just a second!" A voice replied. But strange, the voice sounded higher pitched than last I saw him.
"Where are you?" I asked him.
"I said to give me a second." The voice was now high-pitched and clear as day, as I found the door to the source of the voice I turned the knob and opened it.
"W-wait I said I'm not…" Merlin did finish as I saw h-. What I was greeted with when I opened the door was the most cliché of all clichés I'd ever seen in animes.
If you must know I just walked in on Merlin, but nit the Merlin I saw just a week ago. But right now I'm looking right now at a beautiful woman who is wearing is only wearing a black bra and she's bent over trying to put on her panties her butt only partially covered.
The two of us just stared for what seemed like minutes on end. Until Merlin yelled, "G-get out, you pervert!"
Merlin then started throwing books and other assorted items at me as I closed the door and retreated from the assault.
"W-what the hell?! I thought Merlin was an incubus, so he was a male, but hold on no one knows Merlin's true form, so is his true form his female one or does he actually have some third form no knows about?! Oh, damn it, what the hell?!" My thoughts moved a million miles an hour as I heard the door being opened and I was greeted by the female magus.
She came out dressed like she was when I first met "him", and she had a blush attached to her face.
"Pervert. No better than that breast-obsessed Red Dragon boy." She said to me in a low voice.
"Excuse me?! What the hell does that mean?" I asked incredulously.
"I'm watching over you mister! I know you've been staring at girls' butts especially those ORC girls." Merlin countered.
"I-I was not staring I just staring into space is all." I tried to answer but my voice gave away my emotions.
"Uh-huh, like when you got caught enjoying Akeno's rear end?" She replied.
I had no reply as my face was flushed a crimson red; I was caught red-handed.
"Okay, fine so I like girls' butts. Much better than Issei's obvious perversion. I can make an excuse, he can't." I tried to defend myself.
"Regardless, keep it to yourself. I may be your teacher and watcher, but I've still got my own chastity to worry about." Merlin said as she raised her sleeve to her face looking innocent.
"You are anything but innocent, so drop the act." I countered and this time she merely puffed her cheeks in annoyance.
"Fine, besides its time to get to business." She said in a more serious tone. "I'm going to teach you about your magical core."
"You mean magic?" I inquired.
"No not necessarily. More like magecraft as I teach it, and more specifically that which lies within you. On top of being a devil now, you also host your own magical core you received from Arthur." Merlin explained.
"So you mean, I have two sets of magic?" I once again inquired.
"Yes, you can use magecraft, or "Old Magic" as they call it here and your demonic magic. While I can't help you in your demonic abilities I can help you master your mana usage for purposes of battle. Are you ready?" She asked me.
Summoning Invisible Air I stood ready and replied, "Yes, ma'am!"
3 HOURS LATER…
I was on the ground sweating and panting out of breath as my teacher stood there as if nothing had occurred not a drop of sweat or even a single sigh left her mouth. As I sat up to support myself I felt a towel thrown on my shoulder.
"Go on and dry off, can't have you all sticky. Besides, you did good for a newbie. Still have some rough edges but your on the right track." Merlin congratulated me.
A smile crossed my lips as I thought back to the training I just went through. Yeah it was a little grueling but its all worth it if I'm going to do what I need to do in the future.
"Well. I think it's about time you get back. You start Kuoh Academy today with that new girl right?" Merlin asked
"Yeah, Rias finally got everything straightened up with the school and were both in now and I've got a new apartment closer to the school now that Rias got me." I explained to Merlin.
"Well aren't you a lucky guy, make sure to not make her regret it." Merlin said with a smirk on her face.
"I won't trust me. I don't need the Empress of Annihilation on me so soon in my new life." I said with a small blush on my cheeks.
"Besides, with such a private space who knows what could happen between two high-school students like yourselves?" Merlin said her teasing tone obvious.
"What does that mean?" I asked with a slight accusatory tone. "We're not like that and she surely doesn't have any feelings for me."
"Uh-huh, just keep telling yourself that bud, just keep telling yourself that." Merlin replies that same smirk on her face again.
"Ugh, fine whatever." I got up but not until I felt a something soft on my cheek. I looked in my peripheral vision to see it was in fact Merlin who gave me a peck on the cheek.
I immediately backed up my hand on the cheek she kissed. "W-what was that for?"
"Just a little good luck charm, you'll need it." She said as she finished with a giggle behind her robed hand.
"Honestly, I think you'll be the death of me." I said to myself, but Merlin went quiet as her giggling stopped as well.
Realizing my mistake I apologized profusely, "Wait, I didn't mean it like that. I'm so sorry!"
"No, I've come to accept it by now. I was the one who made kings and also lead to their fall as well. Was it because I did too much or too little? But my path was chosen for me, the least I can do now is help you on your own." Merlin said as she looked to the garden below.
She then turned back, and her smile had returned, "Now go on silly boy, you've got your first day of school. Make me proud!"
Then a large breeze of flower petals whisked me away once more as I waved goodbye to Merlin.
As I left she looked out to the garden once more, "Arthur, could you do it? Could you forgive me, after everything?"
Present Day
As I woke up I noticed my surroundings were much more different than what I had been used to for the past few weeks.
There was a much bigger bedroom still with barren walls and all, but as I got up to start the day I walked out to a shared kitchen/living area with a few chairs and a sofa nearby.
I then finally remembered, "That's right before she transferred me to Kuoh, she told me she'd be making me better living arrangements closer to the school."
"Guess I should remember to thank her. Oh yeah, that's right I start school tommorow with Asia, better get going." I said as I got dressed and raced off to the ORC building.
ORC Building
As I entered through the main door the first sound I could hear was the shower running, at first I thought it was Rias, but seeing the clothes hung up nearby I could see Asia's nun outfit drying.
As I looked around the room, the only other person I saw was Koneko who was enjoying a large serving of… lobster?
Well even with the strange meal in front of her I greeted her, and she replied with her usual quiet nod acknowledging me.
As we waited for everyone else, the door opened a few minutes later to us hearing Issei enter and say, "What's up you guys?"
But just I replied, I could hear him yelp in surprise as he stared at Asia's hanging clothes, taking down her bra and looking at it with a blush he then hears her humming to herself in the shower.'
Koneko having enough gets up and hits him with the lobster she was going to enjoy, but for something to hit that hard was it still frozen or something.
"See anything you like you big perv?" She said accusing him, her ever harsh stare bared at him.
Then the nun in question came out from behind the curtain with a towel on, "Hey, is that my bra?"
Issei panicked, "I think he's gonna wear it around school." Koneko said.
"Oh no, please don't." Asia said with a little embarrassment.
"Actually Koneko, he'll probably sniff it first, then put it around his head." I said deciding to join in on the fun.
"No, you got it all wrong, I just found it and…" Issei replied but as he futilely attempted to hang the bra back up, but it fell.
"Well I'm sorry for being annoying, but Rias said she'd have the living arrangements for me all figured out today." Asia explained.
A few minutes later everyone arrived; Koneko and Kiba were playing chess. Asia was enjoying tea.
Just as me and Issei were about to leave Rias called for us with Akeno by her side.
"Now before you two go, I wanted to say something. Your fights with the fallen have proven one thing, despite your power you two need some extra work to harness your full power. So we have to get you two to your peak physical condition." Rias explained.
"So early morning training is what you had in mind?" I inquired
"Yes, so how does 5 A.M. sound? Good to you?" Rias asked.
"No, that's crazy." Issei mumbled to himself . But Rias' shifting made him change his tune, "I mean it's just fine."
"So then I'll pick you up Issei at 5 and Akeno you'll meet up with Ryuichi, we'll all meet up at the park and start from there." Rias explained.
"Oh, this is going to be so much fun." Akeno said as she let out a small giggle in reply.
"Alright, well were out. Let's go Issei." I said as the pervert followed behind me.
After delivering all the flyers we had, Rias had no contracts for us, so we went home and as the next rolled around I was already up at 4:15 getting ready for Akeno's arrival.
Having a small breakfast treat before heading out which contained some biscuits and orange juice. I headed out just in time as Akeno was riding up on a bike.
"Nice to see you, Akeno." I greeted her with a smile.
With her trademark giggle and smile she replied, "It's good to see you too. So first we'll be jogging to the park and meeting up with Rias and Issei. The point is to try and not stop or slow down but maintain a good pace."
"Alright, let's go!" I cheered as we headed out. "My, my someone's sure is excited to get all sweaty?"
"I always exercised since I did martial arts as a kid so it's like the best thing I can remember doing." I replied to her.
"You did martial arts? What kind?" She inquired.
"Mostly Judo, I've been at it for so long I was one of the only black belt students at the time before I came here to Kuoh. But I still practice my katas when I can." I replied while jogging.
"My what I wouldn't give to be in one those tight holds, I wonder what its like?" She replied with a blush on her face with her eyes closed probably imagining me putting her in any Judo hold.
"Can we please focus?" I asked with a sweat drop down my face. Just as we reached the park we could see Issei and Rias waiting, the former panting like he's about to pass out.
"Alright now that we're all here let's get down to the main part. First, stretches then push-ups." Rias said as me and the Pawn then assumed a stretching position on the ground.
While Rias was helping Issei, Akeno looked to me and did the same. As Issei and I continued to pull our limits Rias started to speak, "Remember in the world of devils, strength is look at much higher over the mind. So you have to be stronger physically in mind and body."
"Got it." We both replied. Just as I was going further I could feel Akeno's chest press harder into my back and just like Issei I could feel her nipples especially.
After stretching we then started to go into push-ups next while Rias was atop Issei as a weight on him, I had Akeno on me.
The pawn obviously not used to this was struggling as I was barely able to hold on due to my Rook endurance. As I was going on I then heard Issei fall over. A quick look I could then hear Rias coaching him, but for my sake I continued on.
"Don't think I can't tell you're thinking sexually charged thoughts right now." She said.
"Hey, I'm a teenage boy whenever I see a cute girl I just imagine them naked with my eyes I can't help it." Issei replied weakly.
"I don't know about that Issei, this seems kind of fun." Akeno said as the other pair looked over to us to see that as I came up Akeno would bounce off my back up and down. Which while sexy as hell, was really starting to get become painful.
I could only look at the pawn with a stare that relayed my pain but as I got back to doing my push-ups I had failed to notice Rias' longing stare at me.
"Can you feel the burn Ryuichi?" She said an obvious red face on her visage. "Oh, yeah I can feel it."
"Speaking of which, where is she I thought she'd be here by now." Rias said now back to normal.
"Who? If she's pretty I'm just gonna imagine her naked too." Issei complained.
"I'm sorry guys! I promise I won't be late again; I swear." It was Asia, but just as the klutz she is she tripped rather cutely. I guess this makes up for the time I wasn't there when she first met Issei.

After a while, Asia then served both me and Issei some tea from a thermos she bought. She even made lunch herself, in a picnic basket.
"Thanks." Issei replied. "So what are you doing here?"
"Oh, Rias asked if I could come." Asia answered.
"Oh really, why'd you do that?" Issei asked the crimson haired King.
"Well I needed to bring her along because I have some important news to share." Rias answered with no interruptions.
Huh, nor forlorn look? No silence? I thought she'd be thinking about Riser at this point. But recently she hasn't been doing anything like that.
"Well I think we've started you both on the right path. For know were done for today. Akeno, go and see Ryuichi home. I'll take Issei and Asia to his place." Rias explained to her.
"My, my Ryuichi were going to be alone again. How fortuitous." Akeno said an innocent smile on her face,
"Not for the good of my health." I replied as we all went our separate ways. After Akeno dropped me off I decided to get back to doing some of my old katas from my Judo practice before I came here.
As our exercise went into a good portion of the day, I made dinner that night, being my first attempt at Oyakodon, which I think was rather good but if I ever did want to know I had to get it certified by a particular judge in our group.
The Next Day…
The next day left me and Asia just a little nervous as we were both about to be introduced to the student body of Kuoh Academy, as we came through front gate today it was before everyone else arrived so the rumor mill hadn't started but I could only imagine what was to happen after we entered this room.
"Are you nervous?" I asked the little nun who was wearing the female uniform as if she owned it.
"Yeah, this is the first time I'm going to be around a lot of people that aren't with the rest of the ORC, so I feel so… well foreign." She answered.
"Don't worry I'm sure you'll be fine. Besides Issei's going to be in this class so it'll be fine." I answered with that last part her smile widened considerably.
After the teacher beckoned us to come in Asia and I both wrote our names on the board and then introduced ourselves.
"My name is Asia Argento. I really do feel like a fish out of water. But I hope you'll take care of me." She said to the whole class.
OOOOOHHH!...
The whole class cheered as they heard her reply. The loudest though came from the guys, as I could see two whom should look familiar to me. One in glasses as the other was nearly bald.
"It's really been a hard time adjusting to everything, but since I started living with Issei everything has been just fine." Asia continued.

…
The silence was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, or a tree fall in the nearby forest. The room mostly the guys then could be seen giving Issei death stares as the two other perverts from before started interrogating their friend on info about Asia.
"Well then, my name's Ryuichi Naruse and just like Asia, I'm also new here. I was actually born in the states and moved here on my own after a while." I decided to introduce myself.
"Wow, so your living all by yourself?" A girl asked me. Huh, I'd of thought Asia would take up all the attention but who cares right now.
"Yeah, I'm actually here on a special scholarship opportunity to Kuoh so my parents sent me over to take advantage. They thought this would be a good experience for me." I replied.
Another hand came up and a boy was the questioner this time, "Is it true that you're a member of the ORC? If so how did you join?"
What how did they know I was a member of the ORC already? I thought I told Issei to not tell anybody about it, so I didn't have this problem. As I looked around the room, I looked to Issei would in fact had a guilty look on his face.
"I'll deal with him later." I thought to myself as I further scanned the room my eyes stopped on a girl with pink-rimmed glasses as she gave me a sly grin.
"Well at least he's cute."
"I don't know, but at least he's not like the Perverted Trio."
"He looks normal I guess."
It feels nice to just hear all this in quite a while with all the supernatural stuff that's happened I'm simply happy to feel normal for once.
We took our seats. Asia was behind Murayama and I was beside Issei in seating. The class went by rather well, but I still had problems with Japanese itself since I wasn't ever really that adept in the language, but as classes ended and quickly enough the lunch bell rung.
But before I could go I was packing up my stuff in my bag until I felt someone sit on my desk and was facing me.
As I looked up I could see the face of one Aika Kiryuu looking back at me her mischievous smile still on her face from before.
"So Ryuichi, did you like my surprise?" Kiryuu said as she seemed to enjoy teasing me.
"If you mean ruining my debut then yes, I can imagine for someone like you who enjoyed that." I replied.
"Oh, don't be like that. A thought people learning about you ahead of time would give you good publicity. Besides, blame Hyoudou he was easy to bribe." Kiryuu answered.
"I knew it." I mumbled to myself.
"Well the name's Aika Kiryuu if you didn't know. Although I am known by the nickname of "Perverted Glasses" by some." She introduced herself.
"Do you have any shame at all?" I asked her.
"Nope." She simply replied. Geez, I expected that, but I wasn't ready for it.
"So how many people know that I'm in the same club as Issei and Asia?" I inquired.
"Oh, the whole school body." She answered simply again. "What! Why?!"
"I thought you'd like the attention it would bring you?" She replied with a devilish smile.
"No, now I feel like people are gonna hound me for answers as to why I'm in the club and for how to get in. I bet they've already asked Gremory too haven't they?" The last part I said with an eyebrow raised in suspicion.
"Well only a few and only guys if you wanna know. But think about it you're popular at least in one way." Aika answered.
"Not the way I wanted it too. I'm going to lunch." I stood from my seat.
"I can take you there if you want?" Aika asked with genuine thoughtfulness.
"Actually Issei said he'd show me around the campus, but maybe another time we can talk together afterwards." I gave her a wave and joined where Issei and his friends are.
"Hey Issei, you ready?" I asked him. "Sure you don't mind if Matsuda and Motohama join right?"
"Just don't rope me into any of your perverted nonsense and we'll be just fine." I replied as the four of us left for the cafeteria.
Of course no one walks with Issei and doesn't start hearing gossip behind their backs. Some saying I'm one of them and some saying I'm being infected and so on. I always hated rumors and gossip in school, but I can say you can find the truth among all those whispers.
The academy's cafeteria was quite large. It was on a timetable so as to avoid overcrowding. The middle school division went first, followed by the high school, then college division so as to keep things orderly.
I sat with the trio and began to enjoy my leftover Oyakodon from the other day. Which all of them were surprised I could cook for myself.
"Man, you and Issei getting to hang out with the babes of the ORC." Motohama grumbled.
"Can't you all just drop that?" I retorted.
"Man, you don't understand! All we have are our porn and magazines. You don't understand our suffering!" Matsuda replied as he shoved a bunch of pictures of naked girls in my face.
"I've been trying to get Ryuichi to see the light, but he always slips from my grasp."
Knocking away the porn from the table and onto floor I replied, "Issei, I really don't care about your while, "Wonders of Breasts" okay. And speaking of you…"
Issei looked at me for a few seconds until I suddenly put him in a tight headlock and began chocking him.
"Tell me, what did Aika give you to spill I was in the ORC?!" I said angrily.
"I-I'm s-sorry she gave me this new addition to a hentai I've been looking for then I just spilled my guts." He said struggling to breath.
Finally letting out my anger I relented, and he panted heavily. A few whispers from the girls were saying:
"Ugh, he didn't finish him off."
"Better to let the perv die, at least its one less of them."
"Better to have a duo than a trio."
Geez, these guys are really hated aren't they? Deciding I had enough drama for once I gathered my lunch box and decided to leave.
"Where are you going?" Issei asked me.
"I'm gonna walk around clear my head, see ya." I replied as I left to walk the courtyard outside to see a small group of girls huddled around something. Walking around I could see Kiba's blonde hair.
"Hey, Kiba!" I yelled out to him.
"Oh, Ryuichi I didn't see you. How's you first day going?" He inquired.
"Can you define awkward?" I replied with a worried look. "I'm sure not all of them will be that bad. If you can, would you take some time to walk the courtyard with me?"
A few gasps from the crowd of girls could be heard but I decided to join him. Every few minutes I looked over my shoulder and the girls kept following us.
A few of them even giggled when I turned around. Guess a few find me handsome or something?
"You know its nice to have a male friend. All of the other guys here normally avoid me." Kiba explained.
"Really not even Issei?" I asked him. "Well I did, but he then immediately left to go peeping with his friends."
"Typical Issei, but I can't imagine being not one can you?" I asked in return.
"To be honest not really. It is quite funny to see them being chased ever once in a while." Kiba said.
"Well, if you ever want to I'll hang out with you." I said as I turned to face him. He put his hand on shoulder and replied, "Really Ryuichi, thank you for that."
A gasp of excitement could be heard from the girls behind us.
"Are they usually this excited?" I inquired. "No, but I am quite used to it by now really." Kiba said.
"Well, I'm sure lunch break is almost over. I gotta get back, see ya!" I let him off with a wave as we got ready for Gym class.
Much like the cafeteria, this Academy was so large there were separate gym facilities and courts for all the student divisions here. After our initial stretching and jogging today we were told we would be playing Tennis today and of all people who was joining us was the captain of the Sports Club herself, Kiyome Abe.
She was rather short, but busty, nonetheless. Her brown hair was shoulder-length and she wore the female gym outfit.
Since Kiyome was especially skilled in both tennis and badminton the gym teacher thought it a good idea to get help from the captain of the sport's club herself.
We all started out in doubles, taking turns serving and going back for with returns. At point though I had to deal with this kid who kept hugging the net the while time so when he shot the ball nearly flew past me and my partner.
As the rest of class went on I heard a shout from another student, "Watch out foul ball!" I turned to see a foul ball going straight for Kiyome whose court was next to mine. Running as fast I could I got the racket just in front of her and hit the ball over the fence.
"Nice shot." She replied. "Thanks, I used to play tennis back home too. So really this is like a second home for me."
"Really, would you ever think of perhaps joining the Sports club?" she inquired.
"Sorry, but I'm already a member of the ORC." I replied. She was surprised but her face calmed a moment later.
"You mean that whole supernatural and witchcraft type stuff. I didn't think you were into those kinds of things." She said with amusement.
"Well I do have a curiosity for the topic itself. I'm what could say; half-skeptic, half-believer. I've seen things I can't explain, but I can doubt the veracity of a claim." I explained to here to try and seem innocent.
"Well either way, I'm curious wanna have a quick match before the class is over?" She said with a competitive face on her visage.
"Hm, I'd be delighted? Singles only?" I asked.
"But of course." She replied. For the rest of gym class everyone gathered to watch our match, since I was rusty however she did end up beating me but not with some points of my own. In the end it was 7 – 5.
ORC Building – Later That Day

All of us were gathered to continue our work, as usual but now with the addition of Asia it was decided on that Issei would help her in her first delivery job.

"Ah, you didn't like the room and board we gave you?" Akeno tried to sound hurt but I could hear the sarcasm in her voice.
"No not all, just that room was a little claustrophobic." I replied. "All you had to was say you wanted to room at my place I would've taken you in Ryuichi."
"No thanks, I would prefer not waking up and being tied to the bed only to have you standing over me with a bullwhip and your magical touch to greet me in the morning." I explained.

"I know I'm just worried is all. Rias maybe someone should go with her at the very least?" Issei turned and asked Rias.
"Well I guess that's okay. Koneko will go with her. She can both watch over her and review her performance as well. Got it, Koneko?" She asked the nekoshou still enjoying a bag of cookies she had bought.
"One of our powerhouses looking after her? Heck yeah, no perv is gonna have any chance." Issei said in glee.
"Says the world's biggest pervert himself." She said with the same tone as always. Issei looked dejected as he began tracing the ground with a rain cloud over his head.
"Besides for you guys, your flyer days are almost over." Rias informed us.
"Oh heck yeah, were gonna get out familiars soon? But wait, doesn't that mean Riser isn't far behind either? But I haven't seen her brooding or looking sad recently so maybe…"
Rias' voice took me from my panicked thoughts, "Since the matter of partners in in the air, Ryuichi can you help Issei out and help him get a pact?"
A partner mission. Never had that before. "Sure… but why me? I've only got one myself. Isn't much to brag about."
"Sure but having experience like this is good for the future. Besides like I said its better for Issei and you to have more than one specific contract. Like I said before though, your delivery days are almost over." She explained once again.
"Alright, leave it to us. Wish us luck, Prez." I replied as Issei got back to normal.
After Koneko and Asia left we left next. Since Issei doesn't have the magical capability to harness the circle I had to. Since he'd have to use his Boosted Gear to use his magic properly, but Rias doesn't want us to use our gears for things like this.
With the light engulfing us both we teleported to the contractor's apartment only to find an authentic set of samurai armor and a whole room filled to brim with Japanese paraphernalia.
"Man look at all this Warring States period stuff. Maps, katanas and other stuff too." Issei pointed out.
Being on guard, I put my hand out ready to summon the Invisible Air as this feeling wouldn't leave me alone. Issei noticed my alerted state and did the same.
A few moments later the armor from before moved and then bowed to us both. "Hello there, are you the devils I summoned?"
It finally kicked in my mind, "This is the girl who wants to get her stuff so she can help get the attention of her crush." Deciding to return to normal I return the greeting, "I'm Ryuichi and this is my partner Issei. You summoned us both?"
"My name is Susan, I came here as a student because of my love for this country's culture and history."
"But why are you in that amor?" Issei inquired.

"Then why did you call us?" Issei whined once more. "Issei, be quiet." I elbowed him in his side.
"Well, like I said I'm really shy and I just can't find the strength to talk to him face-to-face." Issei then got our of his funk and spoke up.
"Then why not write him a letter and tell hum like that?"
Susan then cheered up, "Ah, a love letter? Yes, that sounds perfect." With an ink and brush se got to work writing out the letter herself.
"Do people really write stuff like this anymore?" Issei said.
"Well to each their own as they as say. Heck, even Kuoh has a Calligraphy club for all divisions." I told him.
After she was done she opened her closet and retrieved a bow and arrow. Tying the message to the arrow she was prepared to fire it through her window.
Before we could warn her against it she had shot the arrow already and it was long gone.
As we were waiting the next day for Horii to appear I could only think to myself about the current situation I was in.

ORC Building
After that we got back to the ORC building, I had been tired today from my match with Kiyome and didn't have a chance to shower so Rias let me borrow the one in the ORC itself for convenience.

(So to your name, I'll fight through the pain) – (As Riser is about to unleash another large blast of his Phenex flame, a figure rushes toward Rias' defense as its shown to be Ryuichi who appears later with Excalibur dug in the ground. Although singed he still stands up, the blade glowing a yellow white light.)
(This world can beat me down a hundred times but into the light I'll always rise) – (Ryuichi and Riser then engage in single combat with the two devils fighting evenly in three quick time images until Ryuichi falls back towards Rias, the redhead by his side to check on him.)
(A lotus flower so pure, right up to the end) – (As Riser smirks in what seems to be victory he begins charging another attack for Ryuichi to then hold Excalibur high in the air at the same time as the sword begins to glow with a golden hue. Rias then joins Ryuichi as she adds her power to the blade changing its color from yellow to crimson red.)
(Until it blooms, a bright red) – (The two then unleash their greatest attacks as the two clash it causes a massive explosion when in the next Excalibur stuck in the ground with Riser's jacket flowing in the wind on its blade.)
