(I'm stuck in a never-ending dream. Where my wishes and hopes cannot be seen) – (As the title fades were shown Ryuichi as he stands in Glastonbury Abbey looking over King Arthur's grave in thought.)
(And it's killing me, but I can't let go) – (In the main room of the ORC, Rias is shown to be looking out the main window with a forlorn look in her eyes before closing them in sad contemplation. A tear falls from her right eye as she thinks of Ryuichi.)
(There's a sadness raining down on me. And the future is looking oh so bleak) – (Ryuichi stands in forested area of Kuoh Academy in the middle of the rain as he summons the Invisible Air in his hands, looking upon the blade wondering what form it really is. Rias watches him from outside with an umbrella over her head as her fears manifest in the form of Riser Phenex with his back behind her yet on fire.)
(But I'm holding on, so dearly, to precious memories) – (The two then suddenly turn to and see each other from their respective spots looking back at each other with longing in their eyes and smiling at each other. Rias' fears in the form of Riser banish away in the process as the Rain stops and the sun soon shines through the clouds.)
(To protect the ones I cherish I've got to be stronger) – (The scene then changes to the rest of the ORC, Issei, Kiba, Koneko, Asia, and Akeno, in the daytime as everyone is together talking and enjoying tea as Ryuichi looks in the mirror and sees King Arthur's visage over his.)
(Don't want to hesitate, I wanna to be braver) – (The scene then cuts to Kiba and Ryuichi standing far with their blades drawn for training as the two swordsmen prepare to duel with the rest of the ORC cheering them on.)
(So no matter what may come I can face the morning sun) – (The next scene then turns dark as it shows the Fallen Angel group, with Dohnaseek, Mittelt, and Kalawarner sitting in the rooftop of the church and ray are levitating above them, and a large group of stray exorcists on ground floor.)
(Brave Shine!) – (The two sides begin their conflict, with Ryuichi engaging Dohnaseek with his Invisible Air as sparks fly.)
(Cause you brought me to your world and gave me light) – (Rias and Akeno then blast the large group of Exorcists with both lighting and Power of Destruction, clearing away a good amount of them as Koneko unleashes a shockwave by slamming her fist to the floor, erupting the earth and taking out many of them too.)
(On the night I suffered most, you saved my life) – (The scene then pans to Kiba and Freed as the two attempt to strike the other with sparks flying between.)
(Wielding all the things that we believe in; A test of faith I know I can win) – (The scene then show Issei and Ryuichi as they take on Milttelt, Kalwarner, and Raynare. The next scene swiftly changes to Ryuichi charging up his sword with light before slamming it to the ground, blinding everything in yellow and white light.)
(I'll grant us love and peace for all time) – (The scene then cuts to Ryuichi after the fight as he stands with Excalibur in his hands as everyone rallies in front of the ruined church as the group then smiles at their newest friend and he walks to join them.)
(Cause you shine!) – (The last scene shows King Arthur's grave at Glastonbury Abbey with Excalibur stuck into the grave marker as the title card shows once again.)

Chapter 10: Victory Party!
We won. We really won.
Even as I laid in this hospital bed, I just couldn't believe it. After the game was done and over we all were transported to treat what injuries we had sustained but for me I apparently fainted by the end of the battle with Riser.
Asia decided to take it upon herself to help with everyone's recoveries and after a while she had tuckered herself out and fell asleep as well with Issei by her side.
But imagine to my surprise when I first woke up I was greeted by the cutest sight had seen since seeing Shiro, Koneko's familiar.
It was Koneko herself with her head in my lap and holding my hand with both of hers. I couldn't hold in the want to pet her and so I did knowing she probably wasn't going anywhere.
As I did she predictably purred to herself and moved into my hand even further. A small nya~ escaped her mouth as her smile grew as she rested.
I then heard the door open and saw Kiba, Asia and Issei all come in. All of them say Koneko in her current position and smiled at the little nekoshou but many found spots to sit around in the room.
"I can't believe it, but we actually won." Issei said in an unbelievable tone.
"Well you better believe it; we didn't go through all of that training to fail at the end." I replied.
"You got that right, we really showed that friend chicken whose boss, or rather you did Ryuichi. You looked so cool dude, at the end to!" Issei cheered out loud with Asia smiling at me cheerfully.
Koneko shuffled in her sleep as everyone had an understanding look and agreed to keep the volume down.
As we talked for a bit I looked over to see Kiba had been quiet for sometime and whenever I looked over to him he would quickly look away.
Did I make him mad or something?
"My, my; it would seem everyone is good and healthy." Akeno made her appearance a few minutes later as she joined us.
"Akeno, where's Rias?" I asked her.
With a cute giggle she replied, "Well thanks in part to a very heroic Rook, the two families are currently discussing the outcome of the Rating and its finer details."
"What does that mean?" Issei asked.
"It means the political ramifications of our victory." I answered him, but he still looked confused.
"Think about it, this marriage was put into place for the sake of pure-blooded devils; not only that but an agreement nonetheless made by the current Lucifer, the head of the Gremory clan and the head of the Phenex clan as well. Many were expecting this marriage to go through. But now with this its all over." I explained to him.
"But what does all that mean?" Issei still seemed unsure even after my explanation.
"In essence there might be some who regardless of our win object to cancelling the engagement." I further answer.
Issei then looked panicked, "Wait what?! They can do that?!"
Koneko shuffled again this time looking annoyed and everyone calmed down.
"Calm down silly boy, this was Rating Game was also in the deal as well to void the engagement in case of our victory. So there is nothing to worry about." Akeno tried this time to dissuade his panic.
"In other words, a lot of devils are sore losers because Riser got the beat down he deserved." I replied.
Then as if my words sent a spark to Akeno she approached me, "Well then, if we're talking about beatdowns."
The way her hips swayed as she approached me I was allured by her hourglass figure for a few moments as she spoke in my ear, "Your torture of Riser was the greatest thing I'd seen in so long. It made me wet."
My eyes widened at her seductive and sultry tone as she held my left side with her breasts now sitting on my left arm. The other guys reacted comparably with wide eyes, but Issei the ever jealous one tried to control his anger.
"Now I know that you're an S, I can only imagine all the fun we'll have in the future." Akeno said as she brought my face to meet hers.
I could only look in my peripheral vision to look at the guys with a look that said, "Help Me!"
But to my rotten luck Kiba only closed his eyes and shrugged his shoulders to the scene before him and when I looked to Issei and Asia; the former did the same, but he gritted his teeth and still couldn't look at me.
Asia bless her heart was red in the face at the seduction displayed by Akeno as she just kept staring at us.
She then whispered sultrily into my ear, "We can continue where we left off last time…"
Akeno then got closer as she then slowly traced her finger along my body. Wait is she feeling me up?! But just as I and Akeno were mere inches away from each other we heard a voice interrupt us.
"Ahem!"
We all turned to see Rias standing in the doorway and a look of annoyed anger on her face, "Akeno, just what are you trying to do with Ryuichi?"
Responding once more with her trademark giggle Akeno replied, "Oh nothing, just wanting my daily dose of Ryuichi's petting."
To which in my stupor she took my hand and placed it atop my head and I instinctively began rubbing her head.
Rias, now scowling in anger then went to my other side and glomped me with her breasts now on my right side as she yanked me away from Akeno.
"Ryuichi needs to rest after he's fought so much. He doesn't need you holding him so tight." Rias' anger was now evident to all.
"My, my isn't only natural for an upperclassmen to worry for their underclassmen and their wellbeing?" Akeno replied as she joined in and yanked back.
The two stared each other down as I saw what seemed to be electricity clash between their hard stares at each other. No, no, no that's just Akeno's lighting magic and Rias' eyes are glowing that crimson color.
This continued for a few seconds until Koneko finally stirred and when she woke up to see me being glomped by Rias and Akeno she looked surprised but even more shocked at the position she found herself in where in she was resting herself on my chest.
Immediately blushing a bright red she hopped off my chest and joined thew others as the rest us looked at her with sympathy.
"Well President, what did the elders say?" Kiba said trying to keep things on point.
Rias calmed herself and replied, "After the game and subsequent review many of the elders objected but in the end the engagement is null and void at this point, officially I am no longer engaged to Riser Phenex."
We all smiled at the good news as she continued, "But now however since many expected Riser's victory in the Game the hall was decorated as wedding ball, but now is being repurposed into a party hall for our first Rating Game victory."
Everyone including myself looked excited at the prospect but then I remembered something…
"Does that mean if this was meant to be a wedding party than means its all formal I suppose? And that many devil nobles will be there?" I asked Rias.
"Yes, it's a formal event, as you, Issei and Asia don't have anything to wear I'll lend you three something to wear for the event." Rias said.
"Ugh, I hate parties like this. I feel choked in a monkey suit." I groaned out.
"Yes of course you have to go. As heiress of the Gremory household my attendance is mandatory. As my servants, you will all be required to go as well." Rias answered to my groans.
"Ugh, when is it?" I asked.
"Tommorow night, its short notice I know but all of them were really hoping for Riser to win, too bad." The last part she said in a sweet tone.
"So I'm guessing Sona is covering for us tommorow as well?" Issei asked.
"Yes, just like with the training, Sona has allowed us this extra two days for the party and one for resting before we get back to school." Rias explained.
Issei, Asia, Kiba and Koneko all watched as both the King and Queen acted quite animatedly around the Rook, more than usual as they presumed. The two boys looked between them.
"You think he'll notice?" Issei whispered .
"He's attentive, believe it or not, I think he will." Was Kiba's reply.
"They all look so cute together." Asia replied as she watched Akeno, Rias and Ryuichi talk. But for Koneko who stared at the trio at her fellow Rook's bedside she could only look on in slight jealousy as she watched Ryuichi with Akeno and Rias.
She wanted to be close to him… but they got in the way. Would he see her like he saw them?
Ryuichi's Apartment
"Hey Yuki, Fou! I'm home!" I announced as I stepped into my apartment.
"Well then big hero, welcome home." Yuki greeted me in her usual short purple dress, but this time she wore small purple lounge shorts. Fou resting on her shoulder.
"Hey, I'm no hero. Anything for lunch since I've been gone?" I asked her.
"Yeah, made some while you were out fighting for your future wife." Yuki said with a teasing smirk.
"W-what? I was not, that fried chicken just didn't deserve her that's all!" I replied with a red puffed up face.
"Whatever you say big shot. I'm not buying it. Don't tell me you haven't once stared at her butt before." She challenged me.
"…" I couldn't say anything. To be honest I had seen almost all of the ORC girls butts; the only exceptions being Asia and Koneko; but to be fair I did dream about the former's before. A vivid memory returned as a smile made its way to my face.
"Oooooh, what a dirty smile. Whose butt are you thinking about now?" Yuki said in my ear as she spooked me out of my stupor.
"I-I-I-I-I was not thinking about anything! Not Asia's butt or…" I immediately stopped myself as I caught my mistake.
Yuki's smirk returned as she said, "Oh my, and its Hyoudou's girl too. I can only imagine all the cheating you two have done. The young maiden whose love cannot reach her man and the young man who feels his true love is out of reach, they look to each other for comfort only to…"
I covered her mouth preventing her from finishing that thought, "S-shut up, woman!"
She wiggled herself free from my grip, "Alright I'll stop, but anyway anything big gonna happen for Gremory's first big win?"
"Yeah, they're throwing a formal party tommorow night, so I need to take a bath tonight and eat something filling to hold me over." I explained to her.
"Well then, there are still plenty of leftover in the fridge so help yourself, but first you big boy, need a bath." She immediately covered her nose as Fou leaned in to sniff me he immediately brought his head back and covered his own nose with his paw.
After a quick whiff of myself I agreed and got in to the bathroom and began the process of soaking when I then heard the door open revealing Yuki wearing a towel to what I presume is a naked body underneath it.
Standing in the door leaning on the frame, she stares back at me.
"Are you kidding me?" Is all I can say as I look at her.
"What? I just wanted to wash your back is that too much trouble?" She said with puffed up cheeks.
Knowing this girl even if I said no she'd still get in here and do it somehow so might as well fold and let her do it.
"Hah, alright fine. You can do it." I said with a sigh.
She then joined in taking off her towel as I turned away at least not to stare at her directly. I could then feel the cloth as she began scrubbing all along my back.
At first she started out slow and began to pick up speed, but I then noticed as she was scrubbing she got closer to me as I then began to feel something else besides the cloth along my back.
It was her chest I could feel her nipples just along my back as she went up and down along my back. Even though she was modest she did have some size to her if there was anyone to compare her too she was similar to Aika but just a little smaller.
My face started getting a little flushed at the contact and my… "little friend" started getting excited. It would also seem my back scrubber noticed too somehow.
"Oh my, your face is all red. Is the water too hot or is it something else?" She said in a sultry whisper. She then up the ante by putting her chest directly on my back.
"You should know shouldn't you?" I replied.
"I know your friend too is also getting excited, you can let it out I don't mind you know. Just look at me first." She whispered again.
I acquiesced and for the next few minutes I did touched and fondled her everywhere I could think of, but we never crossed that line. After that I ate and went to bed making sure to get up early tommorow so I could have breakfast to tide me over till the party
The Next Day…
Today was the night of the party and all of us had gathered at the ORC building as everyone was making last minute checks on all of their outfits.
Of course all three of us guys were wearing tuxedos and the girls were wearing an array of beautiful dresses although the only outlier was Akeno is a purple kimono but looked just as gorgeous as the rest of the girls.
"Really though I can handle a suit, but this tux is a little restricting. Does everyone have t dress like this?" I asked as we all waited for Grayfia to come and takes us to the party.
"Yes, but its not so bad. You look good in a tuxedo." Rias replied but came over to help me with my current predicament.
While everyone was talking amiable I was struggling with this accursed necktie, while I knew the process I always somehow was able to mess it all up and it would all be a crumpled mess of knots.
"There you go, I would often have to tie my brother's tie when Grayfia couldn't do it." She said as she finished the two of us just looked each other in the eye longingly.
Then a silver magic circle appeared in the middle of the room and out came Grayfia, but she brought along some guests.
"Everyone, are you ready to depart?" Grayfia asked of us, but before we could all answer a crimson blur passed us and nearly tackled Rias into a bear hug.
"Oh, baby sister!" A certain crimson haired sis-con made his first appearance to us.
"You looked so cool in your first Rating Game! I'm so proud of you!" Sirzechs said as he rubbed his cheek on his little sisters' cheek.
"B-Big brother!" Rias said as she tried futilely to get out of his grasp. The three rookies of us had to hold ourselves back from laughing at the current display of affection before us. The others seemed amused as they too had probably already seen this sight before.
"I have your match in HD and will preserve for years to come and – ow, ow, ow!" The Lucifer of the Underworld was then taken by the ear by Grayfia.
"My lord Lucifer, it would be bad manners for you to act so casually in front of others." Grayfia chided him as she then pulled on his cheeks.
"B-but Grayfia, I was only trying to congratulate little sis on her first victory." Sirzechs tried to find the best excuse he could find to stop the torture of his wife.
I immediately wanted to chuckle but controlling myself I merely began to breath in and out to control my possible laughter from erupting.
Rias looked with nothing but shame at the display her brother had brought to her servants although she was probably used to his affections privately his public actions were probably more embarrassing then in private.
Sirzechs then composed himself as he introduced himself, "I apologize for that display; I am Sirzechs Lucifer; the current Lucifer and one of the Four Satans. I am also Rias' older brother."
"You're the Satan?! Rias' older brother?!" Issei's panic set in as Asia beside him let out an 'eep' in surprise. The others bowed in respect as I, Issei and Asia did the same not wanting to be rude.
As we raised our heads we realized two other people were joined by Sirzechs behind him; one being an older gentleman with crimson hair and a beautiful woman who looked exactly like Rias with her… long brown hair.
W-wait it can't be…?!
Was the 'Ven' I heard in my dreams really Rias' mother? How is that possible?! As my thoughts overtook my mind I wasn't paying attention as the two introduced themselves.
"I'm Zeoticus Gremory, Rias' father and the head of the Gremory Household."
"And my name is Venelana Gremory; Rias' mother. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintances."
And cue Issei's perverted looks towards Venelana… typical.
You could tell how they carried themselves; nobly and proud at the same time. Everything about them was royal, and dignified. Of course they had to be this way; otherwise they wouldn't have as many loyal followers as they do.
I brought myself out of my stupor and tried to appeared as dignified and calm as I could in the presence of this trio of royalty.
Sirzechs first approached me and held his hand out to me to shake it, "You must be Ryuichi Naruse, the Rook that Grayfia told me about? It's a pleasure to meet you."
I did the same and replied, "It's an honor to make your acquaintance, Lord Sirzechs."
"Now, now there is no need when were in such privacy for formalities, please just call me Sirzechs." He said with a small chuckle.
In my peripheral vision I could see everyone looking at me, but remembering my need to keep in the good graces of those in the nobility and besides, I feared the Queen more than the King so I simply replied, " While I will agree I'm technically not one for formality…"
I could tell that Venelana and Grayfia began to look disappointed until I finished, "… I simply wish to be as respectful as I can be."
Then the ladies faces returned with a smile, but Zeoticus and Sirzechs looked slightly disappointed but their smiles returned.
"Even so, I'm happy my daughter has found someone who is not that stiff but just respectful." Zeoticus replied with a smile as he looked me over as he watched me.
"Please I ask you to watch over my daughter for now and forever on." He added on.
"I intend to Lord Zeoticus." I replied.
"Please I insist you call me father." Zeoticus said with a teasing smirk.
"And me your brother-in-law!" Sirzechs joined in the merry of his father.
"Father, brother! That's enough!" Rias said as her anger boiled over. But as I watched my King go into another of her crimson-faced reactions her father's words then began to don on me…
"Wait, what?" Was all I could get out until Venelana tried to contain the situation.
"Now, now we can't be so hasty. Proper procedure must be followed in these things." Venelana said which seem to bring her husband under control.
She then looked at me for a little while and now as I looked at her in the eyes there was no mistake that long brown hair and the beauty surrounding her…
It has to be… surely though…?
My mind was still fighting me on Venelana being Arthur's old love. I just couldn't conceive it.
"Now then everybody, the party is about to begin. Shall we carry on?" Sirzechs replied as a silver magic circle appeared once more.
Just as we were about to exit the room however Sirzechs put a hand on mt shoulder and said, "Excuse me, Ryuichi before the two of us leave can I speak to you?"
Everyone looked back in worry for me and my safety. I knew I had done nothing to insult him, so I immediately calmed myself and replied, "But of course."
Rias however didn't seemed convinced as she grabbed my sleeve with a look of worry on her face. I took her face by the chin and told her, "I'll be fine, don't worry."
The worry was gone but I could tell she wasn't convinced but the two of us still left and the both of us found a seat with Sirzechs borrowing his sister's seat.
"I apologize for being so direct, but that was the only way to get us some peace and quiet; please sit I assure you this is nothing bad." Sirzechs explained to me.
I took a seat on one of the sofa's as I looked to the current Lucifer who spoke candidly, "I must first thank you for all you did to help free my sister from this arrangement of hers'."
"Please it was nothing, I only did what I could to help my King win, nothing more. Everyone else also did their parts as well." I simply answered.
Sirzechs shook his head, "Humble as well. We don't have very many like that anymore. Yes while all of you did your best; it was you that kept up the spirit of the team and brought them victory."
"Your help was not only physical but mental as well you kept your team's spirits up and even in the face of an opponent who seemed invincible you stood undaunted in the face of such a threat. If I can say candidly, you have many traits of that of a future King." Sirzechs continued to speak.
A King? Me? I never really thought that far myself, but… could I really be one?
"But still once again I thank you from saving my sister from her fate in that arranged marriage; for that I owe you a debt I must repay. Anything you wish I shall do my best to grant it; riches, power… women. Is there anything you should want name it." He finished as I pondered for a few seconds until I had my answer.
There was once thing on my mind, "If you could sir, please take a look back at the old nekoshou incident."
His eyebrow rose in genuine curiosity it seemed as he asked, "I'm surprised you know about that, but as you know since you're asking me, the culprit in that case was Koneko's sister. Why would you want the case re-opened?"
"Don't you think it's strange how everything is in that case? It all points one way, but if read between the lines and beyond there are more questions left." I said.
"That being?" He asked.
"Think about it Kuroka was already a reincarnated devil without her King she should already be a mutated Stray Devil, but… nothing. Not a word about her has been said since her subsequent evasion. That and she killed only her master in this incident; if she truly went "mad with power" why didn't she harm any of the other servants?" I explained to Sirzechs who seemed to ponder my logic.
"IF that were true, it would make some sense of the details in the initial incident." Sirzechs replied.
"Besides, if you think about it Kuroka had to have been using senjutsu long before her she became a devil with her sister. If she had wanted to she would've killed her master sooner than later. Koneko was there when she "lost control" if anything, I think Kuroka would only go so far is because of a reason." I continued to explain.
"So you believe the reason had something to do with her little sister and if she perhaps did this on purpose, she had never lost her sanity in the first place?" Sirzechs seemed to catch on now.
"This is the one thing I ask of you sir, please this is the only way I know that can possibly help these two. I know Koneko and her sister are estranged but I think this can at least start something in the right direction. As an older sibling… I would think you'd understand." I finished off as I looked the Lucifer straight in the eyes.
I could tell he was surprised at my insistence on this topic as he replied, "I understand your reasoning, but you must understand to reopen this case would unease many and if this turns out this theory of yours comes to be false then the repercussions will be felt for a long time to come." Sirzechs explained to me.
"I do… but I want to try and find the truth. That's all that matters and to help Koneko and her sister. Koneko is… important to me. No, more of course just like my other friends, but this is for her and her peace of mind." I said with subtle emotion in my voice.
Sirzechs was not surprised by the boy's benevolence despite being a devil he retained his human ways, that's what made him unique and what caught the eye of the young Lucifer; that and the boy's potential as well.
"I shall see what I can do. Now then shall we rejoin everyone?" Sirzechs said as we both left the room to rejoin everyone and head for the party via the magic circle.
Underworld - Victory Celebrations
Well if I was expecting to be overwhelmed by this party I can honestly say that I was. All the attendees of this party were overdressed and simply looked overbearing to approach or even begin to speak to.
Well this is a better fate than having to crash the party like what happened originally, but now I'm all but bored with the festivities.
The feast and spread was excellent, and the refreshments were well… refreshing. But as I tried to erase my presence and find some peace and quiet.
I hadn't seen the others in the last few minutes. Rias is probably mingling with other nobles and her parents; Issei and Asia are together sampling everything from the table and Kiba, Koneko and Akeno are all probably talking together.
As I enjoyed my quiet spot I was greeted by a familiar voice, "You don't need to be so nervous despite the array of guests."
As I turned to see the speaker it was Sona who was wearing a light blue dress and her ever present glass.
"Lady Sitri, it's a pleasure. I must say you look lovely tonight." I replied to her. She chuckled.
"No need for all the formality calling me President in this setting is fine so long as not many others are around." Sona said.
Another voice then joined in, "So this is the "Knightly Rook" and strongest piece of Rias Gremory I've heard so much about."
Turning I found another female beauty wearing glasses with pink eyes wearing a similar but slimmer blue dress. She gave me a sharp gaze as she continued.
"I am Seekvaira Agares, heiress to the Agares household which holds the title of Archduke in the Underworld." She said.
She gave off the strict and strong style of leader and she has the look to prove it. I simply bowed and replied, "Good evening, Lady Agares. My name is Ryuichi Naruse and did you say strongest piece?"
"But of course Ryuichi Naruse! While the power of the new Red Dragon Emperor was impressive, you my friend were the real star of the battle!" Another livelier voice joined us now and I turned shocked at who it was.
The two of us then trade a hard stare as we stare each other off. After a few moments he replies, "Hmm, you have strong eyes. You'd make for a good opponent one day. I am Sairaorg Bael and I insist you call me by my first name."
"Likewise Sairaorg, my name as you said is Ryuichi Naruse, Rook of Rias Gremory. I also aim to win as well Sairaorg." I replied.
"I'm quite curious Naruse, you are quite the talented combatant and despite your Rook status you are a talented swordsman, what exactly is the sword you carry again?" Seekvaria inquires.
I'm careful in my reply, "To be honest my Lady I do not know myself when I first summoned it not even Lady Rias knew of it I can only hope one day it shows itself to me."
