Chapters 4: The Unexpected Meeting

"Usopp, Chopper, Ruby, look, look!" The Captain of Straw Hats Pirate called out the three youngest of the Straw Hats Pirate. The four looked at the South Bird caged on Going Merry as Luffy slowly moved the South Bird's head, "If we move his head away from the south…." He grinned as the South Bird's face slowly turned sour.

The South Bird's face turned from sour to pain as he turned toward the South, "It will immediately turn his head toward the south!" Luffy laughed out loud.

Usopp put his hand on his chin as he commented, "Gee, there sure are weird birds in this world…."

Ruby nodded, "This world is full of astonishing things!" She grinned happily while patting the head of the South Bird. The South Bird started to get annoyed as he chirped, "What did he say?" She asked Chopper.

Chopper looked at Ruby as he said, "He said, I will move my head towards another side to mess your voyage," Luffy and Ruby looked at the South Bird as the two burst out in a laugh.

"Hahahaha! Just try it, if you can!?" Luffy taunted as the bird clicked his tongue and turned his head toward the north.

"Hey, he moves his head toward north…." Ruby commented as the South Bird's face turned sour, uncomfortable, and hurt as he turned his head back to South, much to the four's delight. "He has to face the south, or he will get uncomfortable!" She said while laughing alongside Luffy, Chopper, and Usopp.

Unaware to the four that two shadows were standing behind them and… BONG BONG BONG BONG.

"Take this journey a little seriously…." Nami said with a tick mark on her head.

"Don't bully that poor animal…." Blake said as their fists released a thin smoke after beating the four comically half-death. The South Bird looked at the four gettings beat up in delight as he chuckled from behind the four.

Nami sighed as she turned upward toward the crow nest, "Yang! Do you see anything!?" She shouted toward the combatant that was on the lookout.

Yang looked around with the binoculars from the crow nest as she shook her head, "Nothing to see here except the warm weather… AH!?"

"What's wrong!?" Nami and the four looked upward toward the Crow Nest.

"There is a vast thundercloud to the Southwest!?" Yang shouted toward Nami.

"Are you sure, blondie? This is not the time yet!?" Masira shouted from his ship as Yang turned toward him and shouted, "If you don't believe me, just look at it yourself!?" A crewmate of Masira walked toward him with binoculars.

"S-She is right, boss! The night is at the Southwest!?" The crewmate said in disbelief, and from afar, Yang smiled smugly.

"Damn it! Can we make it, Shoujou!?" Masira turned to Shoujou's ship.

"We have to!" Shoujou turned toward his diving crewmates. "Hey, all of you, hurry up, dive, and check the current streams!" He shouted as the divers immediately dived.

Usopp walked up toward the front of Merry and used his goggles to look at the vast thundercloud, "So that's the Emperor's cloud…." He said as Ruby, Luffy, and Chopper came toward him behind him. Luffy looked at the Emperor's cloud with glimmering eyes as he cheered loudly.

As the sea became wild, the ships moved left to right, "What's wrong!?" Weiss asked as she and Sanji walked out of the kitchen with trays full of food.

Nami turned toward the two, "The Emperor Cloud has been sighted! But we still haven't located the knock-up stream yet!" She shouted.

"What!?" Weiss immediately closed her ears as Shoujou started to use his voice to locate the knock-up stream. "What now…" She muttered, a bit irritated as she looked down to see the divers of Monkey Alliance pop out from the sea.

"Reverberation confirmed! Giant current discovered twelve o'clock!?"

"Giant creature also detected, Nine o'clock! Possibly a sea monster!?"

"Wave detected ten o'clock coming against the direction of current! Possibility of a giant whirlpool!?"

"That's it! Turn the prow to ten o'clock! That's the sign of the knock-up stream! Head for that giant whirlpool, all of you! " Masira shouted as the Straw hats crew started to move.

Ruby immediately took control of the ship. Zoro and Yang hold the wings of Merry. While preparing the sail, Blake suddenly stopped, "Wait, did he say a giant whirlpool… KYAH!" The wave suddenly becomes more prominent.

"AAAAGH! WE'RE GONNA SINK!" Usopp shouted with Chopper running around behind him.

"it's the tremor before the explosion! Watch out!?" Masira pointed out as Nico Robin held onto the ship and looked toward Nami, "Navigator! What about the log pose?" She shouted toward Nami.

Nami looked at her log pose as she said, "It's pointing straight at that cloud…. KYAH!" She screamed as she held the ship tightly. Their ship, Going Merry, suddenly flew in the air.

"We are flying!?" Yang shouted with her eyes popped out from their sockets.

"What the heck!?" Usopp screamed.

Masira felt the wind, and he grinned, "The wind is perfect! The emperor cloud is heading straight for the whirlpool?" He shouted at the Straw Hat Pirate.

"Huh!? What Whirlpool!?" Weiss said as the ship reverberated. She looked up front to see a rope attached to the head of the Going Merry.

"We will tow you to the whirlpool!?" Masira said as Weiss turned toward him.

"Then what do we do!?" Weiss asked while trying to tighten the rope.

"Sail into the current! If you can make it to the center of the whirlpool, you should be fine!" He shouted as the giant whirlpool, more extensive than anything they had ever seen, was in front of the sight of the Straw Hat Pirate and the Monkey Alliance.

"Wait, wait, I don't sign up for this shit!?" Blake panicked.

"No one! Said anything about this!" Nami cried.

"Hahaha! This is getting interesting…." Yang chuckled.

"So we will get blasted up in the middle of that whirlpool…." Chopper said in amazement, but then he realized what he had just said. "WE ARE GOING TO DIE!?"

"I've never seen such a big whirlpool before," Robin commented.

"Stop! Stop! Let's go back!?" Usopp screamed while crying.

"It's pointless, Usopp. Those two are already on board for this," Weiss pointed out at Ruby and Luffy.

"We just have to take our chances here." Zoro grinned.

"Let's go!" Luffy and Ruby shouted. "Hm?" Then they noticed a colossal sea monster was getting caught up in the Stream of the whirlpool and drowned.

Behind them, the coward quatro (Usopp, Blake, Nami, and Chopper) shook with fear at the horrific sight. "Okay then…" Much to their disbelief, the four turned toward Weiss and Zoro, who were cutting the rope.

Then they heard Masira and the Monkey alliance shout, "All right, guys! You're on your own from this here! Good luck!?" They pulled their rope from Going Merry.

Luffy stood on the top of Merry's head, "Thank you! Bye! Give the diamond head old guy our regards!?" He shouted while waving at them with Zoro, Ruby, and Weiss.

"What the heck!?" Usopp and Blake shouted. "Agh! Gimme a break! I'm scared! We are going to die!? I want to go home! We're all going to die!?" Usopp shouted with Chopper shouting behind him.

"This is bullshit! Nobody said about the giant whirlpool!?" Blake screamed in panic.

"Stop bring us back!" Nami screamed, but they were too far from the Monkey Alliance. Then the boat swayed. "AAAGH! WE ARE BEING SUCKED INTO THE WHIRLPOOL!?"

"Let's turn around, Luffy! There is still time." Usopp shouted, but his Captain ignored him. "What are you doing!? Don't you see! We are getting swallowed there." But Luffy stayed silent.

"T-That's right. Sky Island is just a dream, a mythos!?" Chopper suddenly said.

"He's right, Luffy! I think it's impossible to reach there!?" Nami said as Blake was nodding her head off behind her. In front of them, Luffy and Ruby just stayed silent as they turned toward them, and they were surprised. It's not the look of sad or anything.

The two have the brightest smile people can show.

"A dream, huh? Now that's an adventure," Luffy grinned with glowing eyes.

"Yeah, if we don't do this, we will regret it all of our life!" Ruby also said with gleaming eyes.

The four looked at the two as they thought, 'They… They… They look so happy!?' They cried in desperation as a hand touched Nami's shoulder. She turned to see Zoro standing beside her.

Zoro sighed, "When you finished whining, check this out…." He pointed out. "We are going to be swallowed up." He looked at the wild whirlpool streams in front of Merry.

"What the!? Since when!?" Nami shouted in fear.

"Since now, brace yourself," Weiss said as Merry flew out of the whirlpool stream.

"We're going to fall!" They screamed with different emotions. Suddenly the giant whirlpool disappeared as if it wasn't there.

"What happened?" Luffy asked the question everyone voiced.

"It's about to start," Nami said in realization.

"Hold it!" A voice shouted. The crews turned to see a raft, and from the group, Luffy, Ruby, and Zoro narrowed their eyes. "Zehahaha, we caught up with you, Straw Hat Luffy!" Blackbeard shouted while his crews were rowing the raft.

"They are from mock town." Nami pointed out.

"Zehahaha! We will take that hundred million head of yours and your crews, Straw Hat!?" Blackbeard shouted as Luffy walked to the side of the Going Merry.

"Wait! A hundred million, me?" Luffy asked as the other crew followed him.

"You mean you don't know. Why is it so dark here…" Blackbeard muttered as he took out three wanted posters from his pocket. "Straw Hat Luffy, you have a bounty of 100 Million Berris!" Luffy looked at him. "Pirate Hunter Zoro, you are worth 60 Million Berries!" Blackbeard shouted at Zoro then he turned toward Ruby. Ruby raised her eyebrows, "And you, Red Huntress: Ruby Rose, you are worth 28 Million Berries!?" He finished with a fearless grin.

Usopp tried to use his goggles to look at the wanted posters as he commented, "He is right! You become a wanted man, Ruby! And you two also got an increase!" Two hands slung around the sniper as Yang and Sanji came closer with nervous faces.

"I bet there is a poster of me too, right?" Sanji said while nudging the sniper.

Usopp looked at the Blackbeard's hands and then said, "Nope."

"Look carefully!?" Sanji shouted as a hand pushed his face and body, revealing Yang, who immediately slung her hand around the sniper.

"Forget about that pervert. I'm sure he is holding my wanted poster," Yang said while nudging the sniper-like Sanji before her.

Once again, Usopp looked at the Blackbeard's hands and then said, "Nope."

As Ruby, Zoro, and Luffy were happy at their new bounties behind them, Yang said, "Look again!"

"Did you hear that? 100 Million Berries!?" Luffy cheered.

"60 Million Berries, huh? Not bad." Zoro smiled.

"A wanted poster… I'm a bonafide pirate now…." Ruby said with a cheerful yet disbelief face.

"Welcome to this group, Ruby. Now you are a true pirate." Zoro grinned while looking at Sanji, who growled at him in anger.

"P-Pleased to join you two." Ruby nervously bowed at Zoro and Luffy.

"Why all of you are so happy!?" Nami and Weiss shouted. "But still… To think Ruby got her wanted poster… Guess that female Marine she fought is not an ordinary marine officer…." The sous chef muttered, remembering a woman marine officer with prison devil fruit that Ruby fought in Alabasta.

"What!? I also defeat that hypnotist and brass knuckle marine officer! Why don't I get a bounty like Ruby!?" Yang shouted while remembering Django and Fullbody as Blake stood beside her.

"Seems like those guys are small fries," Blake said with a blank look.

"What!?" Yang shouted in disbelief while Weiss chuckled behind her.

"It's coming, you guys! Stay focused." Shoujou warned. At his words, the Going Merry started to elevate.

"Dang it! Everyone grab something or go inside," Sanji shouted. The Straw Hats frantically grabbed onto the ship while the Blackbeard Pirates wondered what was going on.

"Grab on to something!" The Strawhat Captain yelled at them. Still unsure what was going on, the two didn't move. Knock Up Stream started, and it flung the ship upwards.

"WAAAAH! HEY! WHAT's HAPPENING!?" Usopp shouted while holding onto the ship of his beloved with his dear life.

"Unbelievable, the ship's sailing vertically up the surface of the water current!?" Weiss commented.

"Yeah! This is fun! But how do you explain this!?" Luffy asked while grinning.

"The wind…" Nami started. "The wind of that stream knocks us up with the pressure." She explained in disbelief at what she had just said.

"Shishishi, We're flying!" Luffy replied excitingly. "Forward, Merry!" He shouted to the ship.

"Wait a minute… I think we forget something." Weiss said as she looked at the crew. "The ship is beginning to float…." She said with a dangerously look.

"Huh?" The rest, except for Sanji and Nami, tilted their head.

"If we tilt back, it's over, you doofus!?" Weiss shouted in anger.

"What!?" Everyone screamed.

"That can't happen!" Usopp screamed while crying.

"What can we do!?" Blake shouted as she noticed something falling toward them

"Oh, something is falling," Robin said nonchalantly. The sea creature that was sucked in earlier was falling from the sky.

"That's what will happen to us if we don't do something," Sanji remarked.

"What do we do!?" The sniper asked as he began panicking.

Nami and Weiss looked around as they suddenly had an idea, "Weiss, you once said about flying ship in your world, right?" She asked Weiss with a strained smile mixed with fear and excitement. "Do you think we can do it here?" She wondered as the sous chef smirked.

"It's worth trying…." Weiss said as the two looked toward their crewmates.

"Unfold the sails!" They told the crewmates loudly. They looked at the two for an explanation. "Even though it's going up, this is still a sea current. We just need to adjust ourselves. After all, who's this ship's Navigator?" Nami asked with a smirk.

"You are, Nami!?" The crew shouted as they did what Nami said. Zoro and Yang opened and held the sail. "Luffy, Ruby, hold the wings of Merry!?" Weiss shouted as the two immediately held Merry's wing. "Keep it straight like that."

Nami turned toward Blake. "Blake, Chopper, and Robin, hold the slope!" The four immediately held the slope of the ship as she turned toward Weiss, "It's better to be working, Weiss, because otherwise, we are going to die." While looking at Weiss, she said she made a giant glyph in front of the Going Merry.

"It's going to be working. Glyph: Support!" Weiss shouted as she increased the velocity of the winds that passed through the Going Merry.

"We're falling!" Chopper shouted, but Nami ignored him.

"Yang, Zoro, Luffy, and Ruby! Hold Still!?" Nami shouted as the four tightened their grips on the sail and wings of the Going Merry. "Come on, come on…." She said with a hint of desperation while Merry started to sway back.

Yang looked at the situation as she turned toward the swordsman, "Zoro, in the third count, we will open it as big as this sheet can hold," She said with an intense look.

Zoro nodded, "Okay! One… Two… Three!" The two pulled the sail as big as they could, and as soon as the mainsail unfolded, the Going Merry began floating.

"Merry is floating!?" Luffy shouted happily at the sight of his ship flying.

"Incredible!?" Ruby squealed in excitement.

"You two! Hold it more tightly, or else we are going to fall!?" Weiss shouted while holding the Glyph.

"Got it, Weiss!?" The two shouted as they held the wings that would fall as tight as they could at any moment. As the air moves faster over the top of the wings, the pressure of the air decreases, all of this results in Going Merry being the first flying pirate ship.

"No joking…" Usopp said in disbelief.

"I can't believe it…." Blake said in, clearly can't hold her surprise.

"Wow…" Nico Robin, the oldest in the group, couldn't hold her amazement.

"We did it…." Chopper said while crying.

"Well, whaddya know…." Zoro grinned alongside Yang.

"Nami-san and Weiss-san did it!?" Sanji said with hearty eyes. "Going Merry is flying!?" He shouted as the ship flew along the Knock-Up Stream. They could only look in amazement, even the RWBY that had already experienced a flying boat but couldn't hold their surprise.

"Nami! Are we on the right track!?" Weiss shouted as Nami looked at her log pose.

"We are on the right track!?" Nami shouted with a huge smile on her face.

"Then… With this wind and current… We are going to the top!" Yang shouted, excitement in her voice.

"Nami, Weiss, Are we there yet!? Is this the Sky Island?" Luffy asked the two brains of the crews.

"If there is such a place, it would be on the top of the cloud," Weiss answered.

"Top of the cloud!?" Ruby said as she couldn't hide her amazement.

"I wonder what is up there…." Luffy said as she shouted, "Let's head straight onto the Emperor Clouds!?"

"Yeah!?" The crews answered their Captain as Merry flew into the Emperor Clouds.

The ship disappeared into the Millennium Cumulonimbus, out of sight. Down below, the Monkey Alliance cheered for their friends. In the Jaya Montblanc Cricket wished them the best of luck. Not far from the knock-up stream, the destroyed raft of the Blackbeard Pirate was looking at the knock-up stream with a silence.

Then that silence was broken by the sound of a laugh, "Zehahaha, well, what do you know!? They got away!" Blackbeard said as Doc Q coughed beside him.

Looking upward, Doc Q took a bite of his apple, "They are a lucky bunch…."

Clicking his tongue, Jesus Burgess looked at his Captain, "Our prey escaped, and you think it's funny!? I say we go after them, Captain!" He said, but Blackbeard laughed at his helmsman.

"Zehahaha… Don't worry, Burgess. They haven't disappeared from this world. If we stay on the Grand Line, We'll meet them again soon enough! Zehahaha!" Blackbeard laughed behind him. Van Augur nodded.

"Aye, this world… Is one big endlessly turning wheel…" Van Augur started, "If our will is strong… We will meet them again." He stated as Burgess could only growl in anger, and Blackbeard laughed.

Not far from the knock-up stream, a Marine Ship was stationed. A young woman in a pink Hawaiian shirt was unbuttoned on the chest to show her cleavage on the top of the deck. She was also wearing a white marine coat with 'JUSTICE' written on its back.

The young woman silently looked at the knock-up stream as she smiled, "So, did they do it?" In her hand was a grey-bearded den den mushi with a scar over its left eye. The young woman silently looked at the den den mushi as she tapped the shell.

TAP TAP TAP TAP

The den den mushi laughed, "Bwahahaha!? That's my grandson, alright!?" It said, then sighed, "You sure you don't want to greet them. You know those four in Luffy's crew, right?" It asked as the young woman stayed silent for a moment, and with a gentle smile, she tapped the den den mushi once.

TAP

The den den mushi scoffed, "Well, suit yourself then. By the way, Sengoku is asking you to come back to HQ asap. He said he wanted to give you a medal or something." The voice said as the young woman pouted and tapped the den den mushi once again.

TAP

The den den mushi laughed, "Okay, then I will tell him not to bother you. Hey! Did you hear that Sengoku? She doesn't want to go to HQ," The voice said, and then the den den mushi transformed to have black afro hair and a braided beard.

"Force her to come!? She is still under your platoon, Garp!?" Sengoku said.

"I don't wanna…." Garp said as the young woman silently chuckled, and the marine soldiers around her sweatdropped.

"Erm… Rear Admiral…" The young woman turned toward her subordinates. "Are you know those pirates…" He asked in fear, knowing the reputation of her supervisor as a ruthless and coldblooded killer. A killer that the Admiral, Akainu, even highly esteemed.

The rear admiral looked at her subordinates for a moment, and then she raised her finger, much to the horror of her soldiers, and then she put it onto her mouth in shh gesture. "A-Alright then, Rear Admiral…." The subordinates said as the young woman turned toward the knock-up stream, much to his relief.

"What's wrong, Blake? You hardly touch your food," Yang asked.

"Nothing… I feel weird…." Blake said while eating her third ramen bowl.

"Weird?" Ruby asked while sipping juice.

"I feel like somebody is following us…." Blake said as Weiss turned toward her.

"So you feel that too?" Weiss said as she sighed. "I've been sensing 4 or 5 people watching us since we walked out of the arena," Yang and Blake looked at her blankly. "What?"

"You should tell us…." Yang muttered as Weiss rolled her eyes.

"Give me a break. Ruby should be the one to tell us. Her Kenbushoku Haki is as good as Sanji's," Weiss said while bopping Ruby's head lightly. "Hey, dolt. You sensed those 4, too, right?"

"Hm? Oh! Do you mean Jaune's group? Yep, I sense them too. They didn't mean any harm, so I ignored them," Ruby said, making her sister sigh.

"You should tell us if you sensed something like that. We Kenbushokuless people don't sense people as sharp as you two…." Yang muttered as she folded her hands. "But why are they tailing us?"

"I believe they are suspicious of us. We suddenly become stronger and suddenly has weird skills. It's no wonder they are suspicious," Blake said while munching her fourth bowl.

"Make sense…" Weiss said while sipping her wine.

"That's why I told all of you to restrain yourself a little," Ruby scolded her crewmates while folding her hands. "We are currently as strong as a monster, so of course, they are afrai-"

BANG BANG BANG BANG

"You are the one that is the most flashy here!?" The three shouted after beating up Ruby.

"O-Ouch…" Ruby muttered in comical pain.

"Hey, guys!" Team RWBY jumped at the loud voice of Nora. They turned to see Nora and her team walking up toward them.

"Hey," Ruby waved. "Want to join us?" She asked while smiling as the JNPR took a look at each other briefly and smiled.

"I think we will accept your invitation," Jaune said, and they took their seats. They ordered more ramen for them, and they ate. Pyrrha insisted that they needed energy in the coming fight. When they were done, they discussed their match.

"That was awesome!" Nora exclaimed. "How did you make your weapon like that, Ruby?"

"I…" Ruby felt a glare from her crewmates. "I remodeled it before the match…."

"That's so cool, Ruby! I'm sure it can take a Goliath!" Jaune praised as Ruby smiled sheepishly, embarrassed. "I'm sure you don't get the material from shady places like outside the sea, right?"

"Of course not. It's made from Wapometal, the metal that Wapol made," Ruby said, making the other three spit their drinks. Seeing the RWBY team's reaction, Jaune and his team glanced at each other.

"Wapometal? I've never heard about it. Pray to tell me what is so special about it. " Nora said as she walked toward Ruby and sat beside Ruby and Weiss, essentially blocking Weiss from shutting Ruby's mouth up.

"Yeah, please tell. I'm interested," Pyrrha said, sitting between Yang and Ruby. She didn't know what this Wapol Metal was, but she was interested.

"It's-"

"Are you guys hyped for your match?" Blake cut out, much to the displeasure of the JNPR.

They wanted to pry Ruby for whatever secret the RWBY held, but Blake was still the clear-minded of the four. Because they didn't want to make her and Weiss suspicious, Nora quickly answered for her teammates, "Of course!" She pointed out at Pyrrha. "We've got one of the world-renowned fighters on our team, " She pointed out at her childhood friend. "One's ninja," She pointed out at herself, "I can bench five of me," She glanced at Jaune, "Jaune," She grinned, "We trained all year. Our weapons are awesome. Glynda barely yells at us anymore, and uh… Jaune!" She answered as the other hunters and pirates sweatdropped at her answer.

Ren nudged Jaune, "Are you going to take that?" He asked with a pitying look.

"She's not wrong," Jaune said with a blank stare.

Nora laughed, "I'm kidding. He knows I'm kidding," She said. The following few words and her expression turns worried. "Don't be so nervous! What is the worst that can happen if we lose?" She put a thinking pose. "That is just a few more years of walking around school with everyone knowing we're failures, our friends will slowly abandon us to preserve their social status, we won't be able to show our faces in class, and no one will sit with us in the cafeteria, Ren and I have no parents, we have no home left to go to, we'll be officially renamed Team Lose-iper!" Nora suddenly lost her maniacal laughter and began sobbing. She slammed her head hard on the counter.

Ren sighed, "So, yeah," he said calmly. "We're feeling pretty good."

"Don't fret," Pyrrha assured. "If anything, we should be looking forward to a fight with actual guidelines and rules, not, well…murderers or plunderers..." She said, emphasizing the word 'plunderers' to see the reaction from the four, but to no fail.

"Yeah," Yang said. "Don't sweat it. Even if you lose, as long as you look upward, you will still be able to become a good hunter or huntress." Then she grinned. "After all, each people have their good qualities,"

Blake nodded and began, "Yes, some people are born a monster," Ruby looked at Blake. "Some are born leaders," Weiss coughed. "And some are born strong headed that they become an idiot in process,"

"Hey," Yang cut out.

"The point is that it's okay for you to lose in this arena," Blake said, ignoring Yang. "As long as in the end all of you become a good hunter and huntress based on your abilities," She smiled warmly. The JNPR looked at the RWBY in awe.

Jaune looked a bit surprised, "Wow… We never thought about it like that…." He said as Ruby chuckled.

Ruby pointed out at herself, "To be honest, at first, I also feel like that," She said with a warm smile while closing her eyes.

Nami clicked her tongue as she dragged beaten-up Luffy, Ruby, and Zoro out of the tavern. She couldn't believe what had happened there in the pub. She knew and understood that she was the one who told those three not to cause any problem.

But against those assholes. They should kick them out. Dang, it! Those three in her hands were some of the strongest in their crews… And yet they didn't do a damn thing and let those people beat them. Nami gritted her teeth. She became angrier when she remembered.

A chuckle came as Nami started to cry, "The Sky Island does exist…." The chuckle voice came as she stopped and turned to see Blackbeard sitting in the middle of the road while eating his beloved cherry pies. "Zehahahaha! The cherry pies here are the best after all!"

Nami stopped and dropped the three in her hands, "You're from before…."

Blackbeard stopped eating his pies and looked at Nami, "Why are you so upset, missy?" He asked as he pointed at the three beaten-up pirates beside the Navigator. "Your friends won that fight," He said as Ruby turned toward him.

"Hm! So you want to become a huntress like me, Ruby?" Her mother, Summer Rose, asked.

"I want to become the greatest huntress. Huntress that will protect people!" Ruby said with her foot on the top of the barrel.

Blackbeard smirked, "Your comeback was impressive too! You've got guts! Zehaha!?" He complimented as Nami watched Ruby, Luffy, and Zoro slowly wake up and fix their clothes with a blank yet serious look. "The new age they spoke of is rubbish!?" He said as he opened his hands while grinning from ear to ear. "The age of pirate's dream is over! Huh!? Hey?" He slammed his beer as he shouted, "People's dreams! Don't ever end!?"

Luffy, Nami, Zoro, and Ruby could only look at Blackbeard in silence, "Ain't that right!?" He said as he knew their silence was their answer.

Ruby smiled, "Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, Nora, all of you want to become a great hunter, right?" She said as the JNPR looked at Ruby, a bit surprised. The tone in her voice was different from the happy-go-lucky and shy Ruby that they knew. "Then let them laugh at you! If you're aiming for the top…. Sometimes you will find yourself in those spots, and you will understand when you need to take them seriously or not." She said that her expressions were happy-go-lucky, but her eyes told a different story. It was deadly serious.

Jaune knew that look in Ruby's eyes. It was the look of someone with the determination to do what they wanted. Even if they fail 100 times, they will rise again and eventually reach that top. It was the same look that his great-great-grandfather had. Ruby's dream to become a great hunter was not an empty word of a kid's dream. It was the word of a true hunter. In her eyes, she will become the most excellent hunter.

Jaune looked at Pyrrha, and she also thought the same. They didn't know or understand, but the Ruby in front of them was a true hunter. The one that people said in legends and stories.

Pyrrha didn't know what she needed to say in front of Ruby, but she opened her mouth, "R-Ruby, I-"

"Would Team JNPR please report to the battlegrounds immediately!" Port announced from the arena.

"Yes! Like they were scheduled to, several minutes ago!" Oobleck continued, a bit annoyed.

The RWBY stood up, "Sorry if we keep you here," Weiss smiled, but the four were lost in words. "We will meet you at the top, then," She said as the others bid their farewell. But before the four could walk away, Jaune suddenly called out the RWBY, "W-Wait!?" He shouted as loud as he stood between the RWBY and his team.

Jaune panted. He didn't know what to say. But he wants to pour this boiling feeling inside him to the true huntress in front of him. Pirate or not, he didn't care like his friends. From Ruby's words alone, he knew that those four were. But… He didn't know what to say.

Yang raised her eyebrow while smiling, "Hm? What's wrong, Jaune?" She asked as Jaune turned his eyes from her.

He was pathetic. He wanted to say something, but he couldn't pour it out. But then a hand patted his shoulder, and Jaune turned his head toward Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren, who stood with him, "We will meet all of you on the top," Pyrrha said.

Jaune looked at her and the rest of his teammates as he slapped his face and said, "Yes! We will meet all of you on the top! So don't lose, okay!?"

The RWBY looked at the JNPR team in silence as Ruby said, "I see, so you want to become like us…." She said as she pulled her hoodie. Jaune's eyes widened. In front of them was not the RWBY team they knew. It was the same RWBY team in the wanted poster. And they were looking at them with an intense look. "Then it promises. The next time we meet. It will be on the top." Ruby said with a smile that was full of intensity.

Jaune flabbergasted for a moment as he answered, "Y-Yes!?"

Blake looked at Ruby as they parted away, "Nice word there, Ruby. You completely blew their nervousness away," She said.

Ruby raised her eyebrows, "Say what?" She asked as she smiled. "I said that because I'm sure the JNPR will become a great team. Jaune and Pyrrha especially, people with haki like them, are not meant to be here."

Yang whistled, "Do you think Jaune has Haoshoku Haki?" She asked Weiss and Ruby. The two people in their group with Haoshoku Haki.

Weiss stopped drinking, "I'm sure he has it. Jaune has a clear conviction to become the very best from the start. If he learns not to listen to what people say and be himself, he will become stronger," She said with her eyes closed.

Ruby giggled, "True," She smiled as she shouted, "Man watching him like that makes me want to introduce the JNPR to Luffy and the others. I'm sure they will have a blast!" A light smack came from the sous chef.

Weiss sighed, "As if we are fighting against Kaido here, we can't afford to make them in danger." She said with an annoyed look.

Yang nodded, "If it's the usual voyage, then I don't bring them to meet Luffy and the others, but this is Kaido we are talking about," She reasoned, "A monster called the World Strongest Creature. We can't let them enter our war as our opponent is more dangerous than anything else," She said as the other imagined the giant blue dragon that was Kaido.

Out of all the current Yonko, Kaido can be said as the strongest based on his bounty. A whopping 4,611,100,000 Berries. While the four knew that the bounty system couldn't be a good measure of strength. There must be a reason why the World Government put that high bounty on his head. Even that old hag, Big Mom, didn't have a bounty as high as him, and she became an Emperor of the Sea in the era of Gold Roger and Whitebeard.

A monster that even some called as immortal due to his insane durability that could withstand anything.

The RWBY team shuddered at the thought of fighting him, and yet they must do it. If they can beat Kaido, then the Wano Country will be free from his oppression, and Luffy will become closer to being a Pirate King.

In one of the abandoned warehouses in Vale, two shadows were sitting on the boxes, "I want you to be frank with me, Neo. Can you beat the RWBY?" Cinder Fall, the leader of Cinder's faction, asked the ice cream-themed girl in front of her. But Neo seemingly ignored her as she dwindled with her scroll, much to the annoyment of Cinder. "Neo!" She shouted angrily as Neo looked at her and rolled her eyes sarcastically as she typed her answer on her phone.

Neo glanced at Cinder for a moment as she showed her answer. "I can defeat Blake Belladone or Yang Xiao Long, but I can't defeat Weiss Schnee or Ruby Rose. The two are too strong for me,"

Cinder narrowed her eyes, "They are that strong?" She asked as Neo typed on her phone.

Neo showed her answer, "If it's a fair fight, Ruby Rose and Weiss Schnee should be able to make a serious fight with Salem or even defeat her." Cinder's eyes widened. "I don't know about Weiss Schnee for sure. But Ruby can fight against a monster stronger than Salem for a prolonged time." The Ice cream girl typed.

Cinder clicked her tongue. It is supposed to be not like this. Those four shouldn't come back into this world, yet it turns out the power of the Holy Relic was not as almighty as the tale they were told, and here they are back to Remnant as a monster. She turned toward Neo, that also transported thanks to a coin that should be sending Pyrrha Nikos alongside the RWBY.

What she did there or how she knew about the RWBY was a secret. The girl didn't want to say anything, much to her annoyance. Even her best friend and supposed lover, Roman Torchwick, seemingly can't make the ice cream girl open her mouth. Nonetheless, Neopolitan was the best shot of Cinder and her faction in defeating the RWBY team.

Cinder looked at the ice cream girl, "So, do you know how to defeat them?" She asked as Neo raised her eyebrows for a moment before slyly smiling. She never liked that smile of hers.

Neo typed her answer on her phone as she showed it, "I do, but I need that coin,"

Cinder raised her eyebrows in confusion as she tilted her head slightly, "That coin, why do you want that thing? Do you think you can convince those four to abandon their home again?" She asked as Neo nodded.

Neo showed her phone, "I know the circumstances of their pirate group. They will beg to come back there as soon as I tell them what I knew," She answered on her phone. "But to do that, I need at least two coins to strike a bargain."

"Yeah! Go get them, Jaune," Ruby cheered.

"Well, he's certainly improved," Yang commented while rubbing her chin.

"Yeah, but he ain't got nothing on Pyrrha," Blake commented.

Team RWBY watched Team JNPR in their match against Team BRNZ. It was clear that three of them favored close combat while one specialized in sniping. After getting charged by electric dust, courtesy of Nolan, Jaune sent Nora to the mountain top to get more power from the dark storm cloud. Ren distracted the sniper while he and Pyrrha engaged the rest.

When Ren took Nolan as a human shield, the sniper switched targets to Nora. It would've been a kill shot had Jaune not launched Pyrrha up into the air using his shield as a platform. With each shot blocked, Nora fired every grenade she had the sniper. The battle ended when Nora single-handedly hammered them all at once.

Yang closed her eyes, "Ouch," She commented. "That has got to hurt." She grimaced.

"No kidding," Ruby whistled. "With that amount of electricity pumping in her, she could crush the skull of the sea king." She commented as a light bulb appeared on his head. "Hey, do you think Nora can defeat Enel?"

"Enel? Not a chance. As weak as he is in close combat, he is still intangible to anyone without Haki except for Luffy," Weiss said while narrowing her eyes. She remembered the God of Skypiea that nearly kidnapped her. If not because of Luffy, she didn't know what would happen to her.

By then, the next match had started. It was Team NDGO vs. Team SSSN. Weiss wanted their friends' team to win, but after Neptune flirted with the ladies of NDGO, the heiress wished for them to kick their butt. Things got to a problem when it's revealed that Neptune has a case of aquaphobia.

"He's not going to last long at sea," Weiss said dryly as Neptune scampered to the enemy side.

"Yep," The others said with a small pop.

"So," Weiss said. "While we wait for Neptune to get his act together, what we should talk about?" She turned toward her teammates.

"Talk? About your unrequited love life?" Ruby asked, earning a smack from the sous chef.

"What is it to talk about except for Luffy oblivious to Weiss's feelings, and Weiss is too chicken to confess her feeling," Yang said with a sly grin, earning a smack from the sous chef.

"Yeah, it's so lame," Blake said as the sous chef smacked her head.

The bell klaxon sounded as the match ended. Neptune ironically used the water to act as a conductor for the electricity shout-out from Tri-Hard. This shocked the rest of NDGO into submission, taking them down, "That was close!" Ruby said as she leaned back in her seat.

Yang nodded, "Looks like the dorks made it to the next round!" She smiled at Blake. The ninja looks down at the arena where Sun and Neptune are dancing like fools. The monkey Faunus gave her a special double-gun gesture with a wink.

Blake sighed, "Emphasis on dork," She smiled strain as she waved back at Sun, much to his happiness that he messed up his dance and fell with Neptune. The RWBY watched their antics with sweatdropped then a coughing sound could be heard from the announcement. "That concludes the matches for today," Oobleck said over the sound system. "Please leave the coliseum IN A CALM AND ORDERLY FASHION!"

Team RWBY flinched at the unexpected volume change. Weiss narrowed her eyes, "Does he have to do that?" She complained.

Yang chuckled dryly, "He just wants to ensure that the message is received," She said. "Come on, let's go congratulate JNPR and SSSN." The four girls got up and started to head out. Just then, they saw something that should be impossible.

There among the audience of the stadium, was a slim young woman of average height with orange hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a frilled halterneck and a pleated frilled skirt with round studs around the waistline and a small decorative bow in front. She wore her hair back in a ponytail with a scrunchie and kept her pearl earrings and high-heeled sandals. In her left hand was a white parasol.

The orange-haired girl smiled at them. A smile that unbefitting her beautiful face and vanished into the crowds. Upon seeing the orange-haired girl vanish, ignoring the voices and presences of the JNPR or SSSN who called for them, the RWBY quickly rushed toward the audience while yelling, "NAMI!?"

Hearing their call, the orange-haired girl sadistically grinned, one of her eyes color turn into pink.

And another chapter is complete. Sorry that the flashback Skypiea chapter was so long. Initially, it was supposed to be not that long, but it somehow turned into that long when I wrote it, maybe because I enjoyed writing the Coward Quatro scene.

In the meantime, try to guess the intention of Neo. She is a marine, but she wants the RWBY to come back into Wano. Maybe because she is a member of the Tobiroppo's subordinate? Who knows?
