Alex had split from Yusei and Crow, who headed to the Giant Control Tower to deal with Kalin once and for all. "Get ready Kalin, because here I come," Yusei thought to himself as the control tower came into view. Crow, Trudge, Leo, and Luna followed behind him, and Crow was worried about Yusei.

"Yusei definitely has his work cut out for him. Even Alex struggled against Kalin, and he barely managed to tie. Yusei had better bring his A game, or he doesn't stand a chance," he thought to himself. "Do you guys think Yusei will be able to win?" Luna asked in the patrol car.

"I'm sure Yusei will win, no problem," Leo assured, but Luna wasn't so sure. She remembered how terrified Alex had been of Kalin's Earthbound Immortal in the hospital, and she didn't like the idea of seeing it for herself either. Yusei arrived at the control tower and found Kalin ready and waiting on his duel runner.

Kalin revved up his duel runner and drove towards Yusei. The two turned and came to a stop, narrowly avoiding a collision. "Good to see you old buddy. Thanks for stopping by," Kalin greeted. "My pleasure," Yusei responded. "I have to be honest, after what I did to your little friend last time, I thought you would've turned tail and run," Kalin mocked.

"I came to settle things with you," Yusei replied. "You mean how you sold me out?" Kalin asked. "That's not what happened," Yusei argued. "Oh, isn't it?" Kalin asked as he remembered the night it all happened. "It's time to settle this once and for all," he said. Crow and the others arrived and pulled onto an old highway, parking to watch the duel from a safe distance.

"Now let's get things started," Kalin said as he tossed his cloak to the side and activated his mark, creating the same duel track from his match with Alex. "They're about to start, Crow commented as he watched on, hoping Yusei would be able to win. Jack sensed the duel was starting and pulled to a stop before he turned to the side and saw the geoglyph in the sky.

"Looks like Yusei found Kalin," he said to himself before continuing on his way. Back at the duel field, Kalin and Yusei were getting ready to square off. "It's time old friend," Kalin commented, and Yusei asked "Time for what?" Kalin just laughed and answered "Time for me to send you straight to the Netherworld!"

"I can't believe the same person who once risked everything to save me is now trying to get rid of me," Yusei thought to himself as he remembered their time as the Enforcers in Satellite.

Flashback

Kalin had snagged Yusei's wrist with one of their duel cables and was trying to pull him up while bracing himself against the broken railing of an old building, but it was starting to give way.

"Kalin, listen! That rail won't hold us much longer. If you don't let go-" Yusei tried to warn, but Kalin wouldn't hear of it. "I'm not letting you go, Yusei. You're my best friend, and if you're going down, I'm going with you," Kalin resolved as he tried to pull his friend up.

End Flashback

"I know the person that wouldn't let me fall still exists, and it's time for me to get him back," Yusei thought to himself as he activated the Speed World field spell.

He and Kalin turned and pulled up beside each other, preparing to start the duel. "I know Kalin was our friend Yusei, but don't let that stop you from winning this duel, Yusei," Crow said from outside the duel field.

Yusei and Kalin both revved their engines and took off the track, agreeing the first move went to whoever made it through the first corner. Yusei and Kalin made their way down the track, keeping even with each other, but Kalin slammed his duel runner into Yusei's, pushing him against the wall and allowing Kalin to take the lead and get through the corner first.

"Looks like the first move is mine, Yusei," Kalin said as he drew a card. "I'll start with my Infernity Necromancer in defense mode," he declared.

Level 3/Dark/Fiend

ATK 0/DEF 2000

"If he's using an Infernity monster, Kalin must be planning to set up his handless combo he used against Alex during their duel," Yusei surmised. "Next, I play one card face-down and end my turn. It's your move Yusei, but rest assured there's nothing you can play that will save you from my wrath," Kalin promised. "We'll see about that, Kalin," Yusei responded as he started his turn.

Yusei: 1 SPC

Kalin: 1 SPC

"Kalin, I remember when things started to change like it was yesterday. You, me, Crow, and Jack, we all had each other's backs, and that's why we were able to make Satellite safer, one district at a time. We stuck with each other through thick and thin, and we eventually accomplished what we set out to do, but you wanted more," Yusei thought to himself as he remembered everything that happened back then.

"Our home was a better place because of us, but you weren't satisfied Kalin. You craved the competition, you needed it, and that's when things got out of control," he recalled.

Flashback

Yusei, Kalin, Jack, and Crow had met up to discuss what their plan for the day was. "Listen up guys, we may have beaten all the duel gangs and made the Satellite safer, but we can't let up now. We can't let the gangs regroup, so we need to go out and destroy all their duel disks," Kalin declared.

That night, Yusei and Crow were chasing two members from Team Insect and had them cornered. Yusei defeated his opponent easily and used his cable to fry his opponent's duel disk, making it worthless. Crow was about to start dueling, but stopped when he saw the person he had been chasing was just a scared kid.

Crow told him to go home, and the kid just looked at him in confusion. "I said leave!" Crow shouted. The kid scrambled to his feet and ran away. Yusei walked up to Crow, who had his back turned as he leaned against the wall of a building. "You alright?" Yusei asked just before Crow slammed his fist against the wall.

"No, I'm not okay. When did we become the very people we were trying to get rid of?" Crow asked. Suddenly, they heard someone cry out. Yusei and Crow ran to see what was going on and they saw Kalin had just beaten the kid Crow let leave. The kid dropped to the ground and Kalin stumped on his duel disk, crushing it.

"Never enter the dueling world half-heartedly," he said before raising his boot above the child. Before he could do anything, Crow tackled Kalin to the ground, telling him to stop. Crow turned and told the kid to leave, and he obliged. "What'd you do that for Crow?" Kalin asked as he punched his friend in the stomach.

"Guys, stop it!" Yusei shouted as he ran to try and break them up. Kalin drew his fist back to strike Crow again, but Jack arrived and grabbed Kalin's wrist while Yusei restrained Crow. "Let me go, Yusei! I've had enough!" Crow shouted as he wrestled out of Yusei's grip.

"Dueling is supposed to just be about having fun with people. Who are we to take that away from people?!" Crow asked. "What are you saying?" Kalin questioned. "I'm sorry, but I can't be part of this anymore," Crow answered before walking away. "We're supposed to be a team! How can you abandon your friends?!" Kalin shouted.

Jack didn't say anything and began leaving as well. "Guys, wait! Yusei, we're a team, right? You're still my friend, right?" Kalin asked, and Yusei just nodded.

End Flashback

"Jack and Crow left Kalin, but I couldn't abandon him. He's my friend," Yusei resolved, determined to save Kalin. "Hurry up traitor!" Kalin shouted, growing impatient with Yusei's stalling. "I summon Max Warrior in attack mode!" Yusei shouted.

Level 4/Wind/Warrior

ATK 1800/DEF 800

"Max Warrior, attack Infernity Necromancer!" he ordered as his monster raised his staff and leapt at Necromancer. "Kalin, I'm going to get the real you back with this duel," Yusei vowed to himself.

"You lose your mind, Yusei? Infernity Necromancer's defense is higher than Max Warrior's attack," Kalin pointed out. Yusei explained that due to Max Warrior's effect, when it attacks a monster, it gains 400 attack points during the battle.

Max Warrior: 1800-2200 ATK

Max Warrior slammed its staff into Infernity Necromancer, crushing the monster in one strike. "Due to Max Warrior's other effect, when it destroys a monster in battle, its attack, defense, and level are halved until my next standby phase," Yusei explained.

Flashback

Yusei and Kalin were standing on top of one of the old buildings in the Satellite when they heard sirens approaching. They looked down to the street and saw numerous Sector Security officers on duel runners beneath them. "So that's a duel runner," Yusei said.

"Yeah, looks like they're deploying a lot of them this time," Kalin pointed out. "Show the duel gangs the power of the duel runner!" the lead officer shouted. That afternoon, Kalin called for Yusei, and Yusei couldn't believe what Kalin told him when he arrived. "What? You want to take on Sector Security?" Yusei asked in disbelief.

"Yeah. I finally found The Enforcers' final opponent," Kalin responded. "What do you mean 'final opponent'," Yusei questioned. "By defeating them, we will truly conquer Satellite. Yusei, get Jack and Crow. The four of us will take them down!" Kalin exclaimed.

"Kalin, are you out of your mind?" Yusei asked. "It sounds to me like you're scared, Yusei," Kalin responded. Yusei became enraged and grabbed Kalin's shirt, pulling him to his feet, but he let go and lowered his gaze. "Kalin, I can't be part of this. If you're going to go through with this, you'll have to do it alone," Yusei said before he turned and left.

"There's no way he'll do this alone," Yusei thought to himself as he walked away from the building. That night, one of the Sector Security workers had just locked up the room containing the confiscated duel disks. Kalin gazed at the building from one of the rooftops in the city and activated his duel disk, placing a card in the spell and trap zone.

"Let the fun begin!" he shouted before the confiscated duel disks all exploded, setting the room ablaze. Soon, dozens of officers were deployed to look for Kalin after his fingerprints were recovered from the remains of the rigged duel disks. In the Satellite, Crow was dueling with a couple of kids when one of his friends ran up and told him Kalin attacked Sector Security.

Crow ran to inform Jack, and soon they and Yusei were running through the streets trying to find Kalin. A rainstorm rolled in, but the three of them didn't care, calling out to try and find Kalin before Sector Security. Unfortunately, Sector Security did find Kalin, and they quickly surrounded the building he was hiding in and demanded he surrender.

Yusei, Jack, and Crow snuck past Sector Security, making it into the building and finding Kalin. "I knew you guys wouldn't let me down," Kalin said. Jack told him they didn't come to fight, Crow adding they came to stop him. Kalin just laughed and went to the window. "This is it, the final battle of the Enforcers!" he shouted down to Sector Security.

End Flashback

"We went there to save you, but I made the wrong decision back then. That's why I'll save you now!" Yusei thought to himself. He then placed three cards face-down and ended his turn. "My turn," Kalin declared.

Yusei: 2 SPC

Kalin: 2 SPC

"I place one card face-down, and then I activate my trap Limit Impulse. By discarding two cards, I can special summon two Soul Tokens to my field."

Level 1/Dark/Fiend

ATK 0/DEF 0

"And by sacrificing these tokens, I can call out Dark Tuner Nightmare Hand."

Level 10/Dark/Warrior

ATK 0/DEF 0

"That's not good," Yusei said as he realized Kalin was about to complete his handless combo. "And now due to Nightmare Hand's special ability, when its normal summoned, I can special summon a level 2 or lower dark attribute monster from my hand or graveyard, so I summon Infernity Dwarf from my hand," Kalin explained.

Level 2/Dark/Warrior

ATK 800/DEF 500

"Now, level 2 Infernity Dwarf dark tunes with level 10 Dark Tuner Nightmare Hand. When absolute darkness descends, the eyes of the afterlife open! Shadows, descend! Come, Hundred-Eyes Dragon!"

Level -8/Dark/Dragon

ATK 3000/DEF 2500

"There's Kalin's Dark Synchro monster!" Yusei exclaimed. "That's the same monster that nearly beat Alex in his duel with Kalin!" Crow shouted. "Now my handless combo is set. Hundred-Eyes Dragon, attack Max Warrior! Infinity Sight Stream!" Kalin shouted as his monster fired a beam from the large eye in its chest, obliterating Max Warrior and causing Yusei's duel runner to shake violently.

Yusei: 1900 LP

Yusei: 0 SPC

"This is bad. Yusei just lost over half his life points and all his speed counters, and it's only the third turn," Crow pointed out. "How's that? Isn't the pain incredible, Yusei?" Kalin asked. "I activate the trap Revival Ticket. By destroying one of my face-downs, I regain the life points and the monster I just lost from your attack," Yusei explained as one of set cards shattered.

Yusei: 4000 LP

"And that's not all. Since the card that was destroyed was my Limiter Overload, I can special summon Speed Warrior from my deck."

Level 2/Wind/Warrior

ATK 900/DEF 400

"Way to go, Yusei!" Leo exclaimed. "Not only did he get back his life points, he also managed to summon out another monster. Not bad," Trudge praised. "You always were the clever one Yusei. But still, you're powerless before my Hundred-Eyes Dragon!" Kalin shouted before he ended his turn. "My move," Yusei declared as he drew a card.

Kalin: 3 SPC

Yusei: 1 SPC

"Neither of my monsters have enough attack points to take on Kalin's dragon, and none of the cards I currently have in my hand are any help. I'm going to take a chance on this," Yusei thought as he activated his face-down.

"I play the trap Card of Sacrifice! When the combined attack points of all my monsters in attack mode is lower than the attack power of your weakest monster, I can draw 2 cards, but I can't summon a new monster or change my monster's battle modes this turn," he explained.

"You really can't do anything, can you? You're pathetic, Yusei," Kalin taunted. "Since Hundred-Eyes Dragon has more points than Max Warrior and Speed Warrior combined, I can draw 2 cards. Next, I place 2 cards face-down and end my turn," Yusei concluded. "My move then!" Kalin shouted.

Kalin: 4 SPC

Yusei: 2 SPC

"I place one card face-down and activate the effect of Hundred-Eyes Dragon. Since it gains the effects of all dark attribute monsters in my graveyard, I can activate the effect of Infernity Necromancer to special summon a non-Necromancer Infernity monster from my graveyard because I have no cards in my hand, so I special summon Infernity Archfiend in attack mode."

Level 4/Dark/Fiend

ATK 1800/DEF 1200

"Since you summoned a monster, I can activate my Slip Summon trap card to special summon a level 4 or lower monster from my hand, under the condition that monster returns to my hand at the end of this turn, so I special summon Ghost Gardna in defense mode," Yusei explained.

Level 4/Dark/Warrior

ATK 0/DEF 1900

"I'll show you the power of my handless combo. Hundred-Eyes Dragon, attack Speed Warrior with Infinity Sight Stream!" Kalin shouted. "I activate Ghost Gardna's special ability! When you attack one of my monsters, I can change the target of your attack to Ghost Gardna," Yusei explained as his monster moved in front of Speed Warrior.

"You and your tricks! Since Hundred-Eyes Dragon gains the effect of Infernity Dwarf in my graveyard, when one of my monsters attacks one of your monsters in defense mode when I have no cards in my hand, my monster inflicts piercing damage," Kalin informed.

Yusei: 2900 LP

Yusei: 1 SPC

Yusei's duel runner began to spin out of control after being hit by Hundred-Eyes Dragon's attack. "Don't go giving up on me now, Yusei," Kalin shouted. Yusei managed to regain control of his runner and pulled back up behind Kalin. "That's not enough to extinguish my thirst for revenge!" Kalin shouted.
