Warning the ending of this chapter and the next chapter are emotional, You guys are probably gonna hate me for this one.
The next day Prowl came to the hotel to see how everyone was doing wanting to make sure Starscream was ok after the heat room situation at the hospital the night before.
"I'm doing fine but I'll be better once Night Rain and the other two are caught and behind bars where they can't hurt anyone." Starscream told him.
"That's actually another reason I came here, I want to set a trap to try to capture Night Rain and the two from the Speedia 500, Since she's after you I was wondering if you could be the bait?" Prowl asked the seeker.
"Isn't that a bit risky?" Asked Windblade.
"There'll be bots from the force planted all over the place to intervene at the first sign of danger, And we'll only do this if Starscream agrees." Prowl promised.
"I'll do it, After Knock Out just barely survived the attack on him and Arcee needing her legs fixed and one of the vehicons being killed I don't want Night Rain and those bots helping her harming anyone else." Starscream replied completely willing to risk his own life if it meant they wouldn't go after his friends anymore.
"Ok but I want to be there to help out too." Megatron told them, And they agreed knowing he could really help them out in the event of a fight.
A few hours later they left the hotel and arrived at Macadam's planning to set the trap there.
Upon walking in the heard a voice say, "Stop your under arrest!" Then a young bot put stasis cuffs on Megatron who looked confused.
"No he's not the culprit he's helping us." Prowl said to the bot who was white with blue detailing.
"Oh sorry about that." The bot said as he started to put the cuffs on Starscream now.
"He's the victim." Prowl told the bot stopping him again.
"Oh sorry." The bot apologized again.
"This is Siren he's fresh from the academy and a bit eager to make his first arrest." Prowl explained.
"It's fine." Starscream and Megatron both assured him, Understanding that the young bot was excited to prove himself.
Then they got to work setting the trap.
"So what do we do to draw attention?" Asked Starscream.
"Just hang out around the bar and keep an optic out for Night Rain or the other two and keep your com-link on that way we can listen to what's going on and jump in if needed." Prowl told him.
"Ok, I can do that." Starscream said a bit nervously.
Then he went and took a seat at the bar while the others hid.
Starscream had been sitting at the bar for an hour now and nothing had happened, He had made a point not to drink anything afraid something could be slipped into it while he wasn't looking and not wanting to get drunk or something knowing he needed to keep a clear head.
He pretended to be waiting on someone who was running late.
Then Starscream noticed a stage that was set up for karaoke and thought this would be a good way to draw attention to himself.
So he walked on to the stage and went to the karaoke machine and looked at what songs were on it, He decided to choose a love song that would draw Night Rain's attention but nothing too romantic since he couldn't stand her.
Then he chose one and hit play and started singing and dancing along to it.
Everyone else was keeping an eye on him to see if anyone would go after the seeker.
But by the time Starscream finished the song nothing happened, and it was late so they decided to head back to the hotel and Starscream would come back to try the trap again the next day.
Once back at his hotel room Starscream decided to try to get some recharge so went straight to the berth to try to rest.
But he couldn't sleep because there was to much on his mind after all he had been through the past week, He was worried Night Rain and the bots who tried to kill Knock Out at the Speedia 500 might hurt another one of his friends.
"Well at least I'm not really missing anything not being able to recharge I'd probably just have nightmares again anyway." The seeker thought to himself.
A few minutes later Starscream was finally on the verge of drifting off when he felt a servo clamp over his mouth.
Starscream started trying to struggle but the bot was on top of him and had him pinned as the seeker let out muffled cries.
Then they pulled out a container of something and took their servo off his mouth, Seeing what was coming Starscream kept his mouth shut as tightly as he could as the bot began attempting to pry it open trying to force whatever was in the container down him.
Starscream continued to fight them knowing he didn't want whatever that bot was trying to make him drink.
Then Starscream somehow managed to kick the wall and suddenly...
BOOM!!! A hole was blasted into the wall connecting room 5 and 6 and Megatron yanked the bot off of Starscream and started beating him against the floor as Windblade, Prowl and Siren rushed in and Siren slapped stasis cuffs on the bot Megatron had practically beaten senseless.
Then the young police motorcycle made a fist he raised up and brought down in victory having made his first arrest, And Prowl saw him mouth the word. "Yes!"
Windblade rushed over to check on Starscream who fortunately was fine other than being shaken up from the struggle.
"Are you ok?" Megatron then asked Starscream.
"Yeah I'm OK." The seeker replied beginning to relax now that the danger had passed.
"It's a good thing I decided to let Prowl and Siren camp out in my room." Windblade said relieved that Starscream was ok.
"Oh scrap the other night I promised the bot at the front desk that I wouldn't blast down anymore doors!" Megatron told them in dismay.
"That wasn't a door it was a wall so I think your ok." Starscream said to his former master. "And thanks for saving me."
"Anytime." Replied the former gladiator.
Then Prowl and Siren took the bot who had attacked Starscream, The same one who had locked him in the hospital's heat room and one of the ones who tried to kill Knock Out at the Speedia 500, Who's name was Shadowstrip to jail.
"Well that's one down we only have to worry about two now." Megatron said putting a hand on Starscream's shoulder.
Starscream had been lucky because the stuff Shadowstrip had been trying to force down him was Tox-en fortunately the seeker hadn't gotten any on him or in his mouth and that had gotten the lid back on it so no harm done.
Just then Starscream's com-link went off.
"Hello?" The seeker answered.
"Starscream you have to come to the hospital right now..." Came Arcee's voice that trailed off and the seeker could have sworn he heard it crack and could make out sobbing in the background.
"What's wrong?" Starscream asked knowing from the way she sounded something terrible had happened.
"It's.. Ratchet.. he's.. dead." Arcee replied and he could tell she was struggling not to break down on the com-link.
"No..!" Starscream nearly screamed feeling coolant tears starting to build in his own optics as he told Arcee they were coming to the hospital.
Then he called for a ground bridge and Megatron and Windblade both followed the seeker through it when it opened not knowing what was going on, because Starscream didn't say a word other then calling for the ground bridge but looked as though he would fall apart at any moment.
As Starscream made his way through the ground bridge it was like time was standing still.
