Hated Foes

"Rolo, this going to be the last time," Lelouch said.

Lelouch pulled out his sheathed Zanpakuto and unsheathed it. Rolo responded by activated his Hollow mask and got in his stance.

"You're right Lelouch," Rolo said, "this will be the last time."

"Rise, Teimashu," Lelouch said.

Kallen, Euphie, Shirley, and Naoto looked at each other and nodded and they stepped back giving Lelouch room so that he could deal with Rolo. Rolo charged and started to swing his swords at Lelouch and Lelouch in turn dodged and blocked all of Rolo sword attacks. Rolo clashed with Lelouch's Teimashu and Lelouch simply pushed him back.

"Akaken," Lelouch said turning his blade red, "Zettaifukuju."

Rolo charged towards Lelouch again.

"I won't give you the chance!" Rolo declared.

"Nabiku," Lelouch spoke.

A red mark suddenly flashed on Rolo's chest and Rolo was shocked and he felt himself losing control of himself. Rolo didn't know what was going on and he looked and saw the red mark on his chest.

"What is this?" Rolo asked confused.

Rolo looked seeing Lelouch's red bladed Zanpakuto and then he remembered when they fought in the past and Lelouch used his Zettaifukuju and he remembered that he and Amatsuki concluded that the attacked simply faded when the red mark disappeared from Rolo's chest but now Rolo was surprised that the same red mark appeared on his body again and looked at Lelouch surprised.

"It can't be," Rolo said shocked, "Lelouch, you…"

"Got you," Lelouch simply said.

Rolo tried to fight off the power of the mark on his chest but was consumed by Lelouch's Zettaifukuju and became docile.

"Drop your weapons and kneel Rolo," Lelouch said.

"Yes," Rolo said in a lifeless tone.

Rolo dropped his swords and he kneeled before Lelouch.

"So you finally got him," Naoto said as he, and the girls approached Lelouch.

"So that's the second part of your Zettaifukuju," Kallen said.

"Yes, when I mark someone with this technique, it stays with them unless I make it disappear myself otherwise it never leaves no matter how long and then add with Nabiku and the technique consume them to obey me," Lelouch explained.

"This is just like your…" Kallen spoke.

"My Geass?" Lelouch spoke, "Yeah it is. Of course, I have to keep it activated and if I break it off to do another technique or simply deactivate, I can't use it on the same opponent again."

"So this technique only works once on someone," Shirley said.

"So just like your Geass," Kallen said.

"Yeah, pretty much," Lelouch said.

"So then now that you have Rolo under your control," Shirley said, "what are you going to do now?"

Lelouch looked at Rolo, "Rolo, I want you to answer my questions."

"Go on," The controlled Rolo responded.

Reformed Human World

Nunnally frowned and was upset and the reason for it was because she was had come face to face with VV.

"Hello Nunnally, it is so good to see you again," VV said.

"That is obvious a lie," Nunnally responded upset, "What is the point of lying when I and everyone can see the truth clearly? You claim that you wanted to create a world without lies yet you continued to do so. Even went far as to lie to my father, your brother twice. But then you…" Nunnally shaking as she was upset, "I remember that day that you took me away telling me that you were going to take me to my brother which was actually a plot to trap my brother and lure him away from the battle."

"Hey, you know that it was Lelouch's own fault," VV said with a shrug, "If Lelouch really wanted to win and beat Charles, he would not bother coming after you and abandoning the battle in Tokyo but we know that he wouldn't do that and we know what was the result of it."

Nunnally was shaking and was bitter.

"All this time you thought, 'if I wasn't such a burden and so weak, Lelouch wouldn't need to worry about me so'," VV pointed out, "That is what you figured but you know that the reason Lelouch started everything he did was for your sake in wanting to remake the world for your sake. Well I say that we already did that. We beat him to it."

Nunnally looked at VV bitterly with response and stared at him with hatred.

"Don't look at me like that," VV said, "you should just accept that this is the world that is going to continue to be… or do you want to keep giving me that look because you know what I did as an Arrancar and went I targeted Lelouch and Euphemia."

"That woman..." Nunnally said, "Her name was Rie, Rie Kenjima. She was there for Euphie and Lelouch and you along with Luciano Bradley got her killed."

"…She wouldn't have died had she not done the foolish thing in protecting Lelouch," VV said coldly.

"You hurt and kill people out of convenience and you're actually worse as an Arrancar," Nunnally said angrily.

"Hmph, you're able to say those things to me now because I can't use my abilities as an Arrancar," VV said, "I doubt you'd be able to say that to my face if I still had my Reiatsu activated and be able to use my powers, you would be shaking and wouldn't say anything to me."

"Even if that was the case I would still the things that I just said right to your face," Nunnally responded.

"Oh really?" VV remarked.

"You leave her alone," Suzaku spoke.

"Well, well, Suzaku," VV said as he turned.

VV saw Suzaku but also saw other people there which were Milly, Rivalz, and Nina and then he turned again and saw Jeremiah and Sayoko. VV was annoyed seeing that these people.

"VV, so you're here now," Jeremiah said, "I'm glad because I have words for you."

"Jeremiah, you ungrateful fool," VV said bitterly, "and another fool is here as well."

VV turned to Suzaku who was displaying hatred towards VV and it was the same hate that he had for Zero after what happened with the Special Zone and Euphie.

"Step away from Lady Nunnally right now," Sayoko demanded.

VV just looked at the glares he was getting and then he shrugged.

"Fine, whatever," VV said as he stood up.

"Having the masks come down and people not being to lie anymore, it is quite a paradise," VV said, "of course you all disagree but it is how it is now and you can't change it."

VV smirked and walked away and Nunnally was shaking as she had saw the memories of everything VV did from killing her mother, Marianne, to sending Jeremiah in hope of him killing Lelouch, to when he ended up in Hueco Mundo and went from being a Hollow to an Arrancar, to when he tormented Lelouch back when he was in the academy, to when he fought in the Soul Society's Seireitei. Suzaku walked and stopped and looked on seeing VV still walking.

Flashback: 2017atb, Avalon

VV had just told Suzaku about Geass and that Zero possessed the power of Geass.

"Geass?" Suzaku asked.

"Correct," VV responded, "Zero possess a supernatural power."

"Impossible," Suzaku responded back finding it hard to believe.

"Then how do you explain Princess Euphemia's sudden and drastic change?" VV asked, "What about you, the one who always follows the rules. How do you explain for your actions on Shikine Island?" In short…"

Flashback End

"If it wasn't for him, I would have never known what really happened to Euphie," Suzaku said.

Nunnally had a sad expression and looked at the side.

"He also was also the one who transported me, Lelouch, Euphie, and Kallen to Kamine Island," Suzaku continued, "and it was all for his own scheme…"

Nunnally frowned hearing what Suzaku said and clenched her teeth in anger.

"If Lelouch was here, he would teach him a lesson," Nunnally commented.

"You would believe that," VV said suddenly.

Nunnally was surprised and she looked and VV was back.

"You weren't leaving?" Nunnally asked.

Jeremiah, Sayoko, Milly, Rivalz, and even Suzaku stood to protect Nunnally.

"You stay away from her," Jeremiah demanded, "I will not allow you to bring harm and despair to Lady Nunnally?"

"I know and I know the rest of you feel the same way," VV said with a smirk and then he directly to Suzaku, "Even you Suzaku who swore that you would protect Nunnally… doing what Lelouch wanted you to do in the past and even you two became bitter enemies."

"You don't need me to confirm it," Suzaku said, "you already know."

"I also know that nothing is going to happen," VV said, "do you think I would cause physical harm? You all should know that I'm incapable of doing that now… even if I wanted to. That is how it is here in the world that had been remade."

Human World

In the old temple that was occupied by the Suzunami siblings, Konoka wanted to know something from Kajiro.

"How did you get your hands on it?" Konoka asked, "That item was kept by Central 46. You shouldn't have been able to get your hands on it."

"I… well, I found a way," Kajiro replied shifting his eyes to the side.

"That's not an answer," Konoka said, "please tell me how did you obtain the Shinsuikyo?"

Kajiro sighed and shifted his eyes from side to side and he saw that Konoka had the expression that she was not going to just let the matter go.

"I think it's obvious," Seigen said, "he probably used his abilities from his right hand to sneak in the Central 46 Compound and steal the item. It's really a no brainer."

"Yeah…" Kajiro said.

"I guess," Konoka said.

"We're back," A male voice said.

"Father, Aunt Konoka," A female voice said.

The door opened and it was Fujimaru and Matsuri and as they entered, they were surprised to see that they had guests.

"Oh Kisuke, it's you," Fujimaru said.

"Hello there," Kisuke said with smile.

"And you're…" Fujimaru spoke looking at Kajiro.

"Kajiro Sumeragi?" Matsuri said as she and her twin brother were surprised.

"Matsuri… Fujimaru…" Kajiro said, "It's good to see you two again."

"Are the others back?" Seigen said.

"Yeah, they're coming right now," Fujimaru said.

"Good," Seigen said with a nod.

Rai, Alice, Akito, Leila, Ryo, Ayano, and Yukiya arrived and they were surprised to see Kisuke and Kajiro.

"Kisuke, do what do we owe the pleasure of this visit?" Leila asked.

"You," Akito said looking at Kajiro.

"Hi Akito," Kajiro greeted, "it's been a while."

Akito narrowed his eyes at Kajiro showing disdain.

"You have some nerve showing up here after what you did," Akito said.

Kajiro looked at Akito and sighed sadly.

"Yeah…" Kajiro said sadly.

Akito thought about his older brother Shin and the last time he saw him it was when he was aiding Kisuke who was trying to the help the eight people who were victims of Aizen's Hollowfication experiments. Akito saw his big brother standing side by side with Sosuke Aizen.

"May I ask why he is here?" Akito asked still glaring at Kajiro.

"Easy Akito," Seigen said, "Let's all sit down and we'll explain."

"Akito," Leila said as she held his arm.

Akito looked at Leila and nodded.

Urahara Shoten

In the back, Tessai was moving boxes and he was being assisted by Clovis.

"I appreciate the help Clovis," Tessai said.

"Oh it's not a problem," Clovis said, "it's good to keep myself busy."

Suddenly there was a meowing going on and it surprised Tessai and Clovis.

"Hmm, is that a cat?" Clovis asked.

"Is that…?" Tessai spoke.

They looked and saw a black cat that was approaching them.

"Oh what a curious cat," Clovis said.

"You're quite curious yourself Clovis," The cat spoke.

Clovis was shocked and almost dropped the things that he was holding.

"A talking cat?" Clovis responded shocked.

"My, my Clovis, do you not recognize me?" The cat responded amused.

"Huh, do I actually know you?" Clovis replied shocked and shook his head, "Sorry but I'm not familiar with talking animals."

"That may be true," The cat said, "but surely you remember the former leader of the Onmitsukido and Captain of the 2nd Division. After all, your brother Lelouch was under my command after being transferred from the 6th Division."

Clovis was wide eyed and couldn't believe it.

"No way," Clovis replied, "Are you… Yoruichi Shihoin?"

"Bingo," The cat known as Yoruichi replied in glee, "It's good to see you again Clovis."

"I'm amazed that you actually remember me," Clovis said as he kneeled down facing Yoruichi, "we only met once and that was a week before that incident with the Vanishing Souls."

"Yes it was a trying time," Yoruichi said, "I've been keeping up to date on what happened. The others are with you, correct?"

"Well most of us," Clovis said, "Lelouch, Euphie, Naoto, Kallen, and Shirley are not here and Kisuke went somewhere with Kajiro."

"Kajiro Sumeragi?" Yoruichi asked.

"Yes," Clovis said.

"Yoruichi," Tessai spoke as he kneeled.

"Yes," Yoruichi said and then turned to Clovis, "well then, shall we?"

"Of course if you like," Clovis said.

Yoruichi was pleased and she went behind Clovis and hopped on his right shoulder which surprised the former 3rd Britannian Prince and 7th Division Captain. Clovis then stood and he and Tessai along with Yoruichi went inside the shop.

Area near the shrine

Lelouch had his Zanpakuto activated in which Rolo was under the spell.

"Rolo, tell us what you know about the shrine here and any other place like this," Lelouch said.

"This shrine and other shrines are acting as makeshift Thought Elevators," The controlled Rolo said, "There are two other shrines that are acting as Makeshift Thought Elevators."

"Where are they?" Lelouch asked.

"There is one in Kagamino City and the other is in Naruki City," Rolo answered.

"Go on," Lelouch said.

"The purpose of these shrines is to act as gateways to our original world," Rolo answered, "It would allow us to gain access to the world where we originally came from."

The five Shinigami were surprised and amazed at the feat it was.

"And it was Amatsuki who did all of this?" Lelouch asked.

"Yes with the help of Kajiro Sumeragi utilizing the blue Geass sigil on his right hand," Rolo said.

"Ah so Kajiro was involved," Naoto said.

"If we use all three of the shrines, would we be able to pass to our original world?" Lelouch asked.

"Yes using any sort of power of Geass," Rolo said.

"That means that we could…" Euphie said.

"Could we try again and get back?" Kallen asked.

"Rolo, did you ever planned on using the shrines to get back to our world?" Lelouch asked.

"I did," Rolo answered.

"Using your Geass that you still have?" Lelouch asked.

"Yes," Rolo said.

"Interesting," Lelouch said, "it looks like we'll be able to try again and if so…" Lelouch thought Nunnally and her smiling expression, "Nunnally…"

"I say we talk to the others about this and we should get help from Kisuke," Naoto suggested.

"I agree," Lelouch said with a nod, "So we're done here and now there's only one thing left."

Lelouch looked at Rolo with a death glare.

"Lulu," Shirley said.

"You guys head back without me," Lelouch said.

"You're going to take Rolo on your own, are you?" Shirley spoke, "Finishing what you started."

"Yes, one-on-one," Lelouch said, "me and him and this time guaranteed, one of us dies."

"Lulu," Shirley said with worry.

"I'll be fine," Lelouch said as he turned to them with an assuring expression.

"Lelouch, are you sure?" Kallen asked with worry.

"Yeah, I'm sure," Lelouch said, "I need to settle this once for all. This needs to end."

"Hmm, okay," Naoto said with a nod, "Just don't die on us man."

"I won't," Lelouch said, "please let the others know and let them know what we just learned."

"Okay, you got it," Euphie said with a nod and then turned to Kallen and Shirley, "we should go."

"…Alright," Kallen said.

"Lulu," Shirley said.

Naoto, Kallen, Shirley, and Euphie went on their way leaving Lelouch alone with Rolo. Once they were cleared away, Lelouch sighed.

"Now then…" Lelouch said.

Lelouch shut down his Zettaifukuju and Rolo got out of the obeying trance. Rolo was shocked and he looked and saw Lelouch holding his Teimashu.

"Lelouch, you…" Rolo spoke and he looked and realized the position he was in, "Why am I kneeling?" Rolo turned to Lelouch, "Did you do this?"

"I did," Lelouch said as she slowly stepped back, "Get up Rolo. You and I are going to settle this once and for all, for good this time. There will be no escape from either of us this time."

Rolo took his dual swords and got up and gave Lelouch a hated glare.

"Lelouch," Rolo said venomously, "For once, I actually agree. There will be no escape. One of us dies today."

"Let's go," Lelouch said as he got in his stance.

Lelouch and Rolo looked at each other as they were set to fight to the death. The both disappeared on each other and reappeared as they clashed their blade creating a shockwave around them. Far from the battle that was about to take place, there was someone in the air that was watching what was going and the person was the intrigued. The person was Shinji Hirako as he tipped his hat looking on in seeing what was going on.

"Well now, this is quite the development," Shinji said.

Shinji continued to watch seeing Lelouch facing against Rolo and Shinji narrowed his eyes seeing the Hollow mask wearing Rolo.

"That guy," Shinji said, "he's the same as us… was he also subjugated to Sosuke's experiments? If so, then maybe I should actually get involved."

Shinji held his sheathed Zanpakuto and was ready to make his move.

Name: Teimashu (Imperial Demon Lord)

Akaken, Zettaifukuju (Red Sword, Absolute Obedience): A red mark is left on the enemy and the mark will stay on the enemy unless Lelouch himself wills it to be off. Lelouch then can use it to control the enemy with the red mark as long as the person is within approximately 270 meters.

Nabiku (Obey): Triggers the Zettaifukuju technique and consume the victim to obey Lelouch's command.
