Demon Strikes

Lelouch faced Rolo with his Zanpakuto, Teimashu.

"You and I are going to settle this once and for all, for good this time," Lelouch declared, "There will be no escape from either of us this time."

The Hollowfied Rolo took his dual swords and got up and gave Lelouch a hated glare.

"Lelouch," Rolo said venomously, "For once, I actually agree. There will be no escape. One of us dies today."

"Let's go," Lelouch said as he got in his stance.

Lelouch and Rolo looked at each other as they were set to fight to the death. The both disappeared on each other and reappeared as they clashed their blade creating a shockwave around them. The Reiatsu from both of them was intense and both were up in the air clashing their swords. Rolo jumped back and pointed one of his swords and charged up a dark red Cero. Rolo fired the Cero at Lelouch who in response held his Zanpakuto upside down with just his right hand.

"Shiken," Lelouch said as the blade turned purple, "Teimon!"

The large purple barrier was formed and it blocked and absorbed Rolo's Cero. Rolo narrowed his eyes remembering what happened last time.

"Just like before," Rolo said in his head, "which means next he's going to…"

Lelouch dissipated the barrier and pointed his blade at Rolo.

"Shibaku!" Lelouch said.

Lelouch shot the purple beam of the absorbed Cero at Rolo. Rolo saw it coming and charged towards Lelouch and as he was doing that, he cut through and destroyed the purple beam and continued with speed towards Lelouch who then jumped up as he avoided Rolo's charging attack. Lelouch was in the air and holding Teimashu with both of his hands.

"Kinken," Lelouch said and as his blade turned gold he quickly descended and planted his blade on ground near Rolo, "Senjinmon!"

Rolo used Sonido to get away as the golden field formed and gold transparent blades sprung up. Lelouch glanced up seeing Rolo in the air.

"It's pointless Lelouch," Rolo said, "I remember your techniques."

"Yeah, it seems you have," Lelouch said, "but even so…"

Lelouch jumped up in the air and swung his Zanpakuto at Rolo who quickly blocked the attack but the force from Lelouch's swing was so strong that it pushed Rolo back and he fell to the ground. Lelouch quickly followed up by raising his Teimashu in the air.

"Hakuken," Lelouch said as the blade turned pure bright white, "Ame no Tsukimaken!"

A large white glyph appears in the air and white swords of lights were shooting down in a fast barrage. Rolo quickly reacted by connecting his dual swords to form a double sword and then he spun his weapon to deflect the raining swords of light. Afterwards he looked and saw that Lelouch was out of sight. Lelouch was on the side and picked up one of the white swords of light and charged towards Rolo. Rolo felt the incoming attack and when he moved, Lelouch used one of the white swords of light he picked up to slice the swords hilts connecting to each other and broke them apart and Lelouch followed up by swinging his Teimashu going for Rolo's head. This shocked Rolo and he barely avoided being decapitated as he rolled on the ground and then got up and panted a bit. Lelouch stood ready as he held his Teimashu in his right hand and one of the white swords of light in his left hand. Rolo clenched his teeth as he was frustrated but nonetheless he also stood ready as he was facing Lelouch.

An Abandoned Temple

Within the abandoned temple, there was meeting that was held with Seigen and his group who were his sister Konoka, his adopted twin children Fujimaru and Matsuri along with Leila, Akito, Rai, Alice, Ryo, Ayano, and Yukiya and they were meeting with Kisuke and Kajiro. The two men explained the rest of what had occurred with Kajiro explaining the battle that took place in the Seireitei thirty years ago which resulted him along with the group sucked in the anomaly after he had damaged the Shinsuikyo in his desperate need to stop it. Kajiro explained that they had ended up in the Wandering Spirit World along with Amatsuki and Arturo and remained there until they had managed to get out. Seigen's group was taking in what they had explained.

"Wow, so that what has happened," Rai said.

"So where are they now?" Matsuri asked.

"Well right now they are staying with me at my shop," Kisuke replied, "they're taking in their surroundings of where they are and including the time period."

"Just like what happened to us," Ryo said.

"It seems like it," Yukiya added.

"We can talk more about this later," Seigen said.

"True because there's something I want to ask," Kajiro said, "I have been wondering about this for some time," Kajiro then turned to Konoka, "Konoka, were you the one who sent the souls of Kallen Kozuki, Kyoshiro Todoh, Nagisa Chiba, Gino Weinberg, and Anya Alstreim to the Soul Society?"

The other expect for Kisuke were surprised at Kajiro's question and Konoka just looked at Kajiro before she closed her eyes and nodded.

"Yes it was me," Konoka said, "although it was not by myself that I did what I did. I did have assistance."

Kajiro just looked at Konoka and just folded his arms.

"I see," Kajiro said, "okay, that's all I wanted to know."

"Oh, did you not have additional questions?" Konoka asked.

"Well I did," Kajiro said as he rubbed the back his head, "but I don't think I should get into it. I'm sure you had good reason to do what you did, unlike me who did things for my own selfish reasons so I'm not going to question you. I just wanted to know and now that I do, I'll leave it at that. Although if they want to know, I'm sure they will be asking you about it."

"They?" Konoka asked and then she realized who Kajiro was referring to, "Oh right. Yes that would be possible. I'll tell them should they ask me."

"Right," Kajiro said.

"Now with that in mind, there's something we need to know," Matsuri said, "Kajiro Sumeragi, do you know about certain temples that hold significance?" Matsuri narrowed her eyes at Kajiro, "The ones that actually act as Thought Elevators?"

"…Yes," Kajiro answered, "I'm sure you figured it out a while back but just in case, Amatsuki was doing work on the temples that acted as Thought Elevators. In fact, I actually aided him for those temples. It was one of the things I needed to be able to travel to and from our world."

"Our original world," Akito said narrowing his eyes at Akito.

"Yes and with my blue Geass sigil on my right hand and with the syncing of the three temples in Karakura Town, Kagamino City, and Naruki City, it would create the gateway to be in our original world."

"How was it possible for these Thought Elevators to be in this world?" Rai asked.

"That I actually don't know," Kajiro answered, "we still don't have an answer for those even with the ability of time and space. I don't know if it was here that started originally or in our world."

"So in other words, there is still things we don't know about," Alice said, "but we know that those three temples at as pillars to open the gate and to allow to go to our original world."

"Yes," Kajiro said, "that's basically the legist of things."

Area near temple

Lelouch and Rolo clashed their blades and sparks occurred. They pushed each other back a bit and Rolo quickly swung one of his swords and was able to shatter Lelouch's white sword of light and in response, Lelouch swung his Teimashu and able to slice off the blade of one of Rolo's sword. Rolo was shocked and Lelouch followed up when he kicked Rolo in the stomach knocking the wind out of him and he ended up falling and crashing on the ground. Rolo coughed a bit of blood. Lelouch reappeared via Shunpo holding his Teimashu upside down with the intent to stab Rolo. Rolo was shocked and quickly rolled to the side to avoid the stab attack. Lelouch then ran towards Rolo to attack. Rolo clenched his teeth and glared at Lelouch.

"That's it," Rolo said.

Rolo used his Geass and it stopped Lelouch in his tracks. Rolo stared at Lelouch and gripped the hilt of his sword and then he swung his weapon. Rolo slowly walked up to Lelouch who was suspended as the rim of his eyes were red.

"You're dead," Rolo declared coldly.

Rolo thrusted his sword and stabbed Lelouch in the throat and afterwards, he deactivated his Geass and Lelouch was wide eyed and shocked as he looked at Rolo surprised. Rolo looked at Lelouch and then wondering about something and then he was shocked.

"Wait, something isn't right," Rolo said.

Rolo felt pain as he was suddenly stabbed from the back. Rolo was shocked as he was bleeding from the stab wound and from his mouth. Rolo slowly looked down and saw that he was punctured through from the back to the chest by a jet black double edged blade. Rolo was shocked and then he slowly turned his head and sure enough, he saw that it was Lelouch who had just literally stabbed Rolo in the back.

"How did you…?" Rolo asked.

Rolo looked at the Lelouch that he stabbed in the throat and the Lelouch in front of Rolo became an all-black shadowy figure and dissipated.

"Kuroken, Kuro no Kishi: Nijuushin," Lelouch said, "and now to end this," Lelouch gripped the cross hilt of his Teimashu, "Aoken."

Rolo was wide eyed and shook his head as the blade turned blue.

"No," Rolo said as he was horrified.

"Zetsumajin!" Lelouch said as he swung his sword.

A huge royal blue energy occurred. Meanwhile Naoto, Euphie, Shirley, and Kallen were continuing on their way back to Kisuke's shop. They stopped when they felt the Reiatsu from where they left Lelouch and they looked back.

"Whoa, it must be Lelouch's Zetsumajin," Naoto said.

"Yes, it definitely is," Euphie said.

"Guess we don't need to worry," Kallen said, "it feels like Lelouch can handle it."

"You may be right," Shirley said, "still I wish I could be there and act as his backup."

"Yeah me too," Kallen said.

Euphie looked at Kallen and Shirley and smiled with a small chuckle. Shirley and Kallen looked at Euphie and wondered.

"What?" Kallen asked.

"Euphie, what is it?" Shirley asked.

"Oh nothing," Euphie said smiling.

Naoto was suddenly surprised and he turned his head and was surprised again as he saw someone who stood and faced them. The three ladies turned and were surprised to see someone and that someone a young looking woman that wore a standard school uniform.

"This is…" Kallen spoke surprised.

"Well now, this is a surprise," Naoto said, "It's been a long time Lisa."

Standing before Naoto, Kallen, Shirley, and Euphie was Lisa Yadomaru and she adjusted her glasses.

"This is a surprise," Lisa said, "Naoto and Euphie… it's good to see you two again."

Seireitei, Soul Society

In the 13th Division Barracks, Homura and Shizuku had just returned and they entered the barracks. There, they were greeted by other members of the 13th Division and they greeted back. They continued on and they arrived to a door that led to a room. They opened the door and smiled.

"Rukia, we're back," Homura said happily.

Rukia was sitting and she looked at her younger surrogate siblings and smiled.

"I see," Rukia said happily, "welcome back Homura, Shizuku."

"It's good to be back," Shizuku said with a smile.

Homura and Shizuku sat next to Rukia and told them about their mission in one of the districts of the Rukongai fighting and defeating a Hollow. Someone walked by and was sort of eavesdropping and it was Maki. Afterwards, Maki went on his way and was walking through the hall of 13th Division Barracks. Maki went to a door that led to a room and he opened it, entered, and closed it behind him. Maki looked at a small table and on top of it was the arm badge of the 13th Division. Maki sat down and stared at the arm badge and had a sad expression.

"Do I really deserve this?" Maki asked himself in sad expression, "First I failed to help Captain Kozuki and the others… and I failed to help Kaien."

Maki picked up the arm badge and looked at it and remembered when Kaien Shiba wore it signifying being the Lieutenant of the 13th Division.

Flashback: Ten Years Back in one of the districts in Rukongai

It was a rainy night and Kaien was on his knees embracing Rukia who was shaking and tears were streaming from her eyes. Rukia held her Zanpakuto as she had actually stabbed Kaien. Maki was there as well and he was on his knees and was shaking at the tragic sight that he was witnessing. Ukitake was there as well and he felt sadness losing his loyal lieutenant. Rukia was saying Kaien's name over and over and as right before he died, Kaien thanked Rukia, Ukitake, and Maki and he also apologized to Rukia for the pain she endured. Rukia couldn't understand why Kaien was apologizing to her as she berated herself for running and not helping and for the fact she had ended his life by her hands. Rukia didn't feel that it was right for Kaien to thank her. In fact, Rukia felt that she deserved to be hated and cursed at for what she had just done and she wailed and cried her eyes out. Maki hanged his head in shame and cursed himself for what he felt was his weakness and hated himself for not being able to help Kaien.

Flashback End

Maki still haunted by that night of Kaien's death had his hand over his face and sighed sadly. He looked out of his window and sighed again as he stood up.

"I wonder what Captain Kozuki would have done if he was still here," Maki said, "Well I best get going."

Maki left his room and made his way out of the 13th Division Barracks. As he was walking, he looked around in the city and had his thoughts and then he thought about how things came to be for him in the years that went by.

Flashback: Thirty Years Back

Within the 3rd Division Barracks, Maki was walking in the hallway. He then arrived at the door that led to the Captain's office. He then knocked on the door.

"Excuse me Captain," Maki said, "it's me 3rd Seat Ichinose."

"Ah Maki, come in," Gin's voice responded.

"Sir," Maki said as he opened the door and entered the office and closed the door and faced the person sitting in the chair, "You wanted to see me Captain Ichimaru?"

Gin wearing a sleeveless haori was sitting in the desk with his signature smile.

"I'm so glad you came," Gin said.

"Well you requested my presence Captain," Maki said.

"True," Gin said with a shrug, "anyway I'm just going to just cut to the chase and tell you why I summoned you here," Gin leaned back in his seat, "Maki Ichinose, as of now you are no longer part of the 3rd Division. I'm going to have you transferred to another division."

Maki was surprised in what he was just told and just looked at Gin.

"Oh, I see," Maki responded, "May I ask why that is the case?"

"It's simple," Gin replied, "you're no longer fit to be in this division that I'm in charge of."

Maki raised an eyebrow, "I don't get it. Why am I not a fit for this division anymore? Have I done something to displease you Captain Ichimaru?"

"Truthfully no you haven't," Gin replied waving off such notion, "You've done nothing wrong as far as I'm concerned but I'm having you transferred nonetheless."

Maki was surprised and confused and then he just sighed and resigned himself to his fate.

"If that is your decision then there is nothing more to say about it," Maki said.

"I'm glad you understand," Gin said with his signature smile.

"So then in that case, where am I going to be transferred?" Maki asked.

"The 13th Division," Gin replied.

Flashback End

Maki was walking and he sighed.

"Even now, I still don't understand why Gin Ichimaru had me go to the 13th Division," Maki said in his head, "maybe it was a whim for him. Maybe I'm just overthinking things and he just did it just because it was simply necessary."

Soon Maki exited the Seireitei using the west gate.

Name: Teimashu (Imperial Demon Lord)

Sealed Form: Katana with a blue hilt, gold oval tsuba, gold pommel, and red sheath

Release Command: Rise

Released Form: Changes form to a two-handed double edge broadsword that has a dark blue cross hilt, a gold cross guard with each of end of the guard pointed and has a red oval centerpiece, and a gold orb-shaped pommel.

Shikai Ability: Capable of variety of techniques that corresponds to the color on the blade.

Aoken, Zetsumajin (Blue Sword, Severing Demon Edge): The blade of Teimashu turns blue and fires a large royal blue energy towards his enemies.

Hakuken, Ame no Tsukimaken (White Sword, Rain of Moon Demon Sword): The blade turns white and a large white glyph appears in the air and white sword of lights shoots down in a fast barrage. Hakuken, Ame no Tsukimaken: Kekkai (White Sword, Rain of Moon Demon Sword: Burst): All the white swords of light can detonate and create huge bright white explosion.

Shiken, Teimon (Violet Sword, Imperial Gate): The blade turns violet and a large barrier that surrounds Lelouch and blocks projectile and blast attacks without the barrier eroding and it can also absorb projectiles. Shibaku (Violet Blast): Takes the absorbed projectile and forms a purple beam towards the enemy.

Kinken, Senjinmon (Gold Sword, Flash Blade Field): When planting the Teimashu on the ground, it creates a golden field around enemies and golden transparent blades spring up from the field and trap the enemies inside and cause strong shocks and make them suffer negative effects on their bodies.

Akaken, Zettaifukuju (Red Sword, Absolute Obedience): A red mark is left on the enemy and the mark will stay on the enemy unless Lelouch himself wills it to be off. Lelouch then can use it to control the enemy with the red mark as long as the person is within approximately 270 meters. Nabiku (Obey): Triggers the Zettaifukuju technique and consume the victim to obey Lelouch's command.

Kuroken, Kuro no Kishi (Black Sword, Black Knights): Form a one or more black glyphs on the ground and summons one or more huge black armored knights with red eyes to fight for Lelouch wielding all black forms of Teimashu. Kuroken, Kuro no Kishi: Nijuushin (Black Sword, Black Knights: Doppelganger): Lelouch can create a doppelganger of himself to use a substitute and/or distraction.
