A Rainy Night

In a lab somewhere within the Seireitei, Tosen, Gin, Shin, and Kusakabe were checking the status of something on the monitor. The door opened and Aizen entered the lab.

"Did you get something?" Aizen asked his followers.

The four men turned to their leader.

"Oh nothing at all," Gin answered.

"Unfortunately we were able to equip Hollows with target Hollowfication," Tosen said, "but it's too virulent and it won't work on normal souls or division members."

"I see," Aizen replied.

"We know it's not something that you wanted to hear," Shin said.

"Our apologies for not producing the results you desire," Kusakabe said.

It's fine," Aizen assured, "it's only a matter of time before we find Shinji Hirako and his friends. We can lure them out by carrying out Hollowfication experiments."

"Oh, two birds with one stone," Shin said.

"Exactly," Aizen said with a smile, "so let's be patient, Gin, Kaname, Josui, and Shin. Everything will go according to our plan."

Karakura Town, Human World

Lelouch, Naoto, Euphie, Shirley, and Kallen were meeting Lisa and Hiyori for the first time in eight decades. The last time the two saw them was back in the Soul Society before the incident that change everything for them.

"I sure as hell never expected to see you guys here," Hiyori said.

"Yeah, we can understand that is the case," Lelouch said.

"So what's the deal?" Hiyori asked, "Why are you here in the Human World?"

"Right," Kallen said.

The five individuals explained to Hiyori what happened in the Soul Society when the Seireitei was invaded by two groups that were led by Bansui Amatsuki and the Arrancar Arturo Plateado with end result of the them being sucked in an anomaly which them being ended up in the Wandering Spirit World where they were stuck for the period of thirty years before ended up in Karakura Town. Hiyori narrowed her eyes at the five people and turned around.

"We should go Lisa," Hiyori suggested.

"Right, sure," Lisa replied.

"Hiyori, Lisa," Lelouch said.

"I'm just going to ask you a couple of things," Hiyori said.

"What is it Hiyori?" Euphie asked.

"Do you know what really happened with the Vanishing Souls Incident?" Hiyori asked.

"Yes we know that Sosuke was behind it," Naoto said, "we know that he was the cause of what happened to you guys. We already knew beforehand years ago."

"You did," Hiyori replied, "and what did you do exactly when you learned of it?"

"I spoke with Central 46 and tried to convince them that they were mistaking about Kisuke and their decisions for you eight," Lelouch said.

"I'm going to guess that they did not care of what you said," Lisa said.

"Unfortunately no they did not," Lelouch said bitterly, "they didn't want to consider things or discuss things."

"And what did you do about that when it happened?" Hiyori asked.

"Uh well…" Lelouch spoke.

Lelouch looked away and so did Naoto and the three young women and Hiyori looked at the five people with disgust.

"As I thought," Hiyori said, "you did absolutely nothing."

"Hiyori…" Shirley spoke.

"You have the nerve to be all friendly with us," Hiyori said annoyed, "what a joke."

"Hiyori," Lisa spoke.

"Let's leave Lisa," Hiyori suggested, "Lelouch, I don't know what exactly you said to Shinji but I'll tell you that you sure as hell will not be hanging with us. We don't need you. We never have and never will. If anyone is going to get Aizen, it will be us, not you. You on the other hand, you're no different from the other Shinigami. So stay the hell out our way."

Hiyori left and Lisa sighed and turned the others who were bitter with what Hiyori said to them.

"Don't worry about it," Lisa said.

"Lisa?" Euphie spoke as she and the others looked at Lisa.

"I'll talk to her," Lisa said, "I don't what know if I'll succeed but I'll try."

"Thanks Lisa," Lelouch said.

"Sure so don't feel bad," Lisa said as she turned around, "I at least know you guys have good intentions."

"Lisa," Naoto said.

"Although I do also feel that it would be better that we operated on our own, I don't mind communicating with you all from time to time," Lisa said.

"I see," Euphie said with a smile.

"I do want to know something," Lisa said.

"Yes?" Lelouch replied.

"Captain Kyoraku, how was he when you last saw him?" Lisa asked.

Lelouch smiled when he heard that question.

"He was the same as ever," Lelouch said.

"Oh so being the same lazy idiot," Lisa said, "Hmph, sounds right. Well I'll talk to you guys later."

"Of course and thanks Lisa," Naoto said with a smile.

"Thank you Lisa," Euphie said happily.

"Sure no problem," Lisa said.

Lisa left and caught up with Hiyori and afterwards, Lelouch, Naoto, Euphie, Kallen, and Shirley left and headed back to Kisuke's shop. Not long afterwards, Lelouch, Naoto, Kallen, Shirley, and Euphie arrived back at Kisuke's shop and met with Kisuke and Kajiro.

"Hey, you five are back," Kisuke said.

The five met up with Kisuke and Kajiro.

"Yeah, we're back," Lelouch said.

Kisuke opened the door and they were greeted by Clovis who was holding the cat form of Yoruichi.

"Welcome back," Clovis said smiling.

"We're back," Euphie said happily.

"Clovis, what's with the cat?" Naoto asked, "Have you decided to keep a cat as a pet?"

"I can assure you Naoto, I am no pet," Yoruichi said.

The others except Kisuke were shocked to hear the cat talk and Kisuke grinned.

"It's good that you came by Yoruichi," Kisuke said as he took Yoruichi from Clovis.

"Wait what?" Lelouch and Naoto responded shocked.

"Is that Yoruichi?" Euphie asked.

"No way," Shirley said.

"This is not a prank," Yoruichi said, "I assure you, it's me."

Euphie was giddy and she went to Yoruichi and started to lightly scratch her chin which Yoruichi was pleased and purred.

"Ah I want to pet her," Shirley said in glee as she went to Yoruichi.

Euphie and Shirley were fawning with Yoruichi while Lelouch and Naoto were just standing there looking confused seeing the cat form of their former captain. Kajiro was staring at them and had many questions for the Princess of the Shihoin Clan. Meanwhile at the abandoned temple, a portal suddenly appeared and someone was coming out of it and was Amatsuki. The portal closed behind him and he looked to see that he was in the abandoned temple in Karakura Town.

"Excellent," Amatsuki said, "it's good having such measures in place."

Amatsuki stepped out of the temple and looked around and he was saw something and went to get a closer look. He was surprised in what he saw and it was Rolo who was dead on the ground.

"Rolo," Amatsuki said, "so you're dead," Amatsuki sensed something from Rolo's corpse, "I see… it was him that defeated you. It seems you're weren't as good as I hoped you were… or perhaps Lelouch Kenjima was just stronger than you regardless and you never had any chance to beat him, no matter what you did," Amatsuki simply sighed, "oh well…"

Amatsuki created a glow from his eyes of his staff and a glyph formed and surrounded the dead Rolo.

Hueco Mundo

A portal suddenly formed at an area with rocky pillars and someone stepped out of the portal and it was Arturo.

"Took too long for my liking," Arturo said, "no matter, I am finally out of that damn realm although..." Arturo grinned, "I'll be sure to rule over that realm as well now that I have the means."

"Brother look, he's here," A male voice said.

"I can see that," Another male voice said, "quite a surprised for him to be here. He finally got out."

Arturo looked and saw the twin brothers, Castor and Pollux rui Britannia.

"Oh, it's you two," Arturo said, "I didn't expect to meet you two here."

"We were told that you would finally get out of the Wandering Spirit World and where exactly you would end up and we came," Castor said.

"It seems that the prediction was true," Pollux said.

"Prediction?" Arturo replied narrowing his eyes, "Are you telling me that someone told you to meet me? They knew where I would be?"

"That's right," Castor said as he and his twin brother smiled.

Arturo narrowed his eyes at the twins and had his suspicious.

Karakura Town, Human World

Within Kisuke's shop, everyone was meeting in a room and Yoruichi was in the center.

"I was informed of what had happened," Yoruichi said, "quite the situation for you all. With two groups of enemies invading the Seireitei and ending up in the Wandering Spirit World," Yoruichi turned to Kajiro, "it's been a long time Kajiro."

"Yeah, it's has," Kajiro said.

"I was told you were set up by Aizen as well just like Kisuke," Yoruichi said.

"Yeah," Kajiro said.

As things continued on, Kisuke and Kajiro told them about the meeting with Seigen and his group and Lelouch along with Euphie, Kallen, Shirley, and Naoto gave info of what they discovered with the temple they found and Lelouch mentioned about his fight with Rolo and the meeting up with Shinji. It also led to Naoto with his sister and the two other girls their surprised meeting with Lisa and Hiyori. The others were pleasantly surprised to hear about Shinji, Hiyori, and Lisa. It gave them hope that they would be speak with them and it was something especially for Clovis since he had been worried about Love as well as Todoh and the Four Holy Swords since they had been worried about Rose. The conversation went in about what was discovered the three temples that had acted as Thought Elevators with the possibility to take them back to their own original Human World.

"Then it will be possible for us to go back," Anya said, "but what will happen when we get there?"

"That is something we're not sure," Shirley said.

"But it is also assuming that Rolo was not lying," Asahina said.

"I can assure you he wasn't," Lelouch pointed, "not that he able to since I used one of my techniques to get him to talk."

"Geass or Zanpakuto," Clovis asked.

"My Zanpakuto," Lelouch answered.

"Then your Zettaifukuju ability I'm assuming, right?" Clovis spoke.

"Yes," Lelouch said with a nod.

"At any rate, we spoke to Seigen and his group about the temples," Kisuke said, "and with what you brought up, I believe that they have come to the same conclusion."

Naruki City

Night had fallen and two Shinigami were standing on a roof of one of the houses and it were checking things out.

"It's getting cloudy," One of the Shinigami said, "I have a bad feeling. The two guys before us died on a rainy night if I'm not mistaken. Talk about scary."

"Hey, don't say that," The other Shinigami said.

"I see," A male voice said, "so rainy days are dangerous."

The two Shinigami were surprised and they turned and were surprised to see Isshin who looked cheery and folded his arms.

"Nice to know," Isshin said.

"Captain Shiba!" The two Shinigami said shocked.

"So I came at the right time," Isshin commented, "I'm really glad I didn't come for nothing."

"Sir, why did you come here?" One of the Shinigami asked.

"Oh, I was looking for a toilet and got lost," Isshin replied cheerfully.

"That is such a lamest lie sir!" The other Shinigami replied.

Isshin turned around, "Ah, right. Tonight if it rains, you two go home for a while," Isshin had a serious expression, "I want to pee alone."

The two Shinigami realized in Isshin's tone that there more to 10th Division Captain's intention. A figure was lurking and neither the two Shinigami nor the Shinigami Captain noticed or even felt the presence.

Karakura Town

In the manor that belonged to the Ishida Family, two people were sitting dinner table within dining room. One of them was a stern looking woman with chin-length black hair and the other was a teenage girl with chin-length light wavy brown hair and brown eyes and she wore a school uniform with a red-hemmed skirt and a white collar with red pins that tied in front with a red ribbon as well as wearing brown shoes with white knee-length socks. The teenage girl was Masaki Kurosaki and the stern woman was Yui Ishida.

"How is the school Masaki?" Yui asked.

Yui turned to Masaki who was eating her meal. Masaki in turned to matriarch of the Ishida family.

"Ah, you mean me?" Masaki responded, "Um, y-yes I'm commuting happily every day Aunt."

"I'm asking about the school," Yui clarify, "not you."

"Ah the school," Masaki replied back nervously, "Ah, recently I found out you can get extra servings of cabbage and pickles for free at lunch."

"Enough," Yui said as she was getting a bit annoyed, "well then, what about the Holy Training?"

"Ah the Holy Training," Masaki said, "well… little by little… I'm doing it."

Yui lost patience with Masaki with her responses.

"What do you mean 'little by little'?!" Yui yelled.

"Sorry!" Masaki responded in fear.

Yui slammed her hand on the table feeling that the girl was not taking her situation seriously.

"Do you even understand your position?" Yui asked, "Now that the predecessors have died and you have no siblings, you're the last of the Kurosaki Family and we accepted to raise you as fellow Quincies! And yet you…"

"Mother!" A male voice called out, "Please stop. Your voice can be heard from outside."

Yui and Masaki turned to see it was teenage boy with white hair and blue eyes as he wore a checkered shirt with jeans and even wore a jacket over his shirt. It was Ryuken Ishida, Yui's son. Yui decided to leave the dining room.

"I'm going back to my room," Yui said, "I'll have your food prepared. When you finish, summon Katagiri to tidy up."

"What about Father?" Ryuken asked.

"He's at Funfte Feld," Yui answered, "I'd like to know when he'll be back too."

Yui left and Ryuken then turned to Masaki.

"Masaki," Ryuken said.

"Hmm?" Masaki responded.

"I'm sorry," Ryuken said, "please forgive my mother. She's lonely and directing her anger towards you."

"What are you saying Ryu?" Masaki replied cheerfully, "Forgive her for what? I'm not even angry. You shouldn't be worrying about it Ryu," Masaki started to leave, "anyway thanks for the food. I'm going back to my room," Masaki suddenly went close to Ryuken with a grin, "today's shrimp gratin was really good. If you don't want it, I'll eat your share too. Bye-bye!"

Masaki left to go to her room and Ryuken just watched Masaki leave.

"Young Master, the meal is ready," A female voice spoke, "Can I prepare the table?"

Ryuken turned to the young maid of the house who had black hair that was tied to a hair bun and it was Kanae Katagiri.

"Yes Kanae, please," Ryuken said with a nod.

Kanae went and prepared to set the table.

"Kanae," Ryuken spoke.

"Yes, what is it Young Master?" Kanae replied happy to hear that Ryuken talk to her.

"Masaki," Ryuken said, "she knows that my mother allowed her into the Ishida Family for the very sole purpose of protecting our family's pure Quincy blood."

"Did your mother talked to her about it?" Kanae asked.

"No but it's amazing that my mother thinks that she doesn't know," Ryuken said shaking his head, "she's not stupid," Ryuken sighed sadly, "I'm not sure that she'll be happy to marry me."

Kanae sympathized with Ryuken and decided to say her piece.

"The Young Master thinks that weddings among Quincy should be based on love," Kanae said, "you're so kind," Kanae sported a cheery smile, "I think your kindness will certainly make Lady Masaki happy."

Ryuken sighed looked outside and it was raining.

"How stupid," Ryuken responded, "Why do you say I'm kind? The reason I want Masaki to be happy is that if you're not happy, you can't look at the future positively. Not 'our' future, the 'Quincy's'."

Naruki City

It was raining in the city and Isshin and the two other Shinigami were looking up in the sky.

"It started to rain," One of the Shinigami said, "What should we do? He said to go home…"

"You idiot," The other Shinigami responded, "Go back to the Soul Society? If we do that, we'll get a demerit. We can stay hidden for the time being. The captain will definitely do something about this."

Isshin was in thought as he as thinking the situation.

"Shinigami being targeted could mean that they are the final goal or that it's a reaction to powerful Reiatsu," Isshin said in his head and he started to place his hand on the hilt of his Zanpakuto, "I could try to attract them with my Reiatsu…"

Isshin released his Reiatsu which surprised the other two Shinigami.

Whoa!" One of the Shinigami said, "Wow!"

"This is Captain Shiba's Reiatsu," The other Shinigami commented.

The two Shinigami were suddenly attacked and they screamed as they were being killed. Isshin was shocked and he turned to see the two Shinigami dead.

"Damn!" Isshin said, "So it didn't react to my Reiatsu!"

There was a sudden crash that occurred behind him and Isshin turned his head and saw something.

"Wh-What is that?" Isshin asked.

What Isshin saw was a Hollow that was almost completely black with its white mask.

"A black Hollow?" Isshin spoke.

The black Hollow turned and faced the 10th Division Captain and roared loudly. Isshin responded by drawing his sword.

"I see now," Isshin said, "it's completely black and its hole is closed but its Reiatsu is definitely a Hollow's…"

The black Hollow charged towards Isshin who responded by swinging his Zanpakuto at the black Hollow.

Seireitei, Soul Society

In their lab, Aizen, Gin, Tosen, Shin, and Kusakabe were surprised to see Isshin facing the black Hollow.

"What a surprise," Aizen said.

"Isn't that Captain Shiba of the 10th Division?" Shin asked.

"Why the hell is that bastard there?" Kusakabe asked as he was irritated that someone was interfering.

"He didn't report that he was going," Tosen pointed out.

"Oh so he went without permission," Gin said, "this is going to cause trouble."

"This is fine actually," Aizen said with as he was pleased, "an unexpected harvest. I want to see it closer."

Karakura Town, Human World

In the Ishida Manor, Masaki was in her room when she felt powerful Reiatsus. She sensed the Reiatsu of a Hollow and one other person. Masaki rushed out of her room with the intent to do something. Meanwhile in Kisuke's shop, the group was in Kisuke's underground training ground. They were training with each other with their Zanpakutos when they suddenly felt powerful Reiatsus and they were all surprised.

"What is that?" Xingke asked.

The group felt the presence of two beings. Lelouch was wide eyed as he felt something familiar of one of the Reiatsus. The next thing, Lelouch rushed out of the underground training ground and he surprised the others in the group.
