Chapter 26
Robb Stark
Robb was sitting at the large table in the Lord's solar of Riverrun, listening to his mother and uncles talk about their current situation. The Lannsiters had allied with the Tyrells and that posed a great threat. He too has two kingdoms behind him just like Joffrey does but his were depleted, his soldiers tired but he knew that he had to continue this war, to release his sisters and bring justice for his father.
His attack on the west was successful and it drew Tywin in but his uncle repealed the lion which caused his trap to fail. At first, he blamed Edmure but soon realized that it was his fault, that he should have informed his uncle of his intentions sooner, the only thing his uncle was guilty of was trying to protect his people. Robb sighed, he was winning every battle but he was slowly losing the war.
Two of his allies in the Freys and the Kastarks left him and honestly, he could not blame the Kastarks, he did behead their lord and they had already lost much in this war. He should not have been so rash with his decision to punish Rickard Kastark, yes the man killed prisoners of war but Robb should have at least put him in the custody of some kind and not immediately kill him. When it comes to the Freys, he had broken an oath he made to them but they were still bannermen of Riverrun and so should stand by their liege lord. They also still had the pact of Arya's marriage with one of Lord Walder's sons. He should have expected that, his mother did say that lord Walder was a prickly man. The only ally he gained was the Westerlings but they were poor replacements for the Kastark and Freys. They didn't have as many men and the rest of his army distrusted them.
Another blunder that was not made by him was the release of Jaime Lannister, without him Robb had no valuable prisoners. A campaign that started off promising was not turning into a disaster. To add insult to injury his former best friend Theon had betrayed him and attacked the North with his Iron fleet and took Winterfell. He had to send several thousand soldiers back to aid in the defense of their homeland. Everything he aspired for was coming undone. The only way to fix this was to draw Tywin into the West and for that, he will need to take the Rock and to do what he needs more men.
"We should go to the Eyrie and ask Lysa to aid us once more, she will stand behind her family, she must," Uncle Edmure said.
His mother shook her head. "Lysa is too afraid, she won't risk war coming to the Vale."
"What do we do then?" Edmure asked. Robb did not say a single word during this conversation, choosing to listen instead and maybe find a solution by himself if they could not find any.
"The Greyjoys are against us, the Tyrells have joined the Lannisters which gives them fresh troops. Stannis has been defeated, he might be a good commander but he doesn't have an army. The Stormlands won't help us and neither will the lords of the Narrow sea," said Brynden.
"Dorne perhaps?" said Edmure.
"No, they won't choose any side in this war, it is not one that concerns them. They don't have love for any of us," said the Blackfish.
"Then what are we to do?" Edmure asked, "We need more allies."
Catelyn sighed "We should reach out to Walder Frey, maybe we can fix our relations still."
"I'm his liege lord he should be here fighting with us, not hiding at the Twins," Edmure said.
"Lord Frey is a proud man and he believes that he was been insulted, we need to find a way to make amends," Catelyn said.
"He will ask for a great price in return for his renewed support, I assure you," said the Blackfish.
Then Robb lifted his head to look at his family. "Then we will pay it. We need allies now more than ever. We have come too far to lose now," Robb said and they all nodded in agreement.
"I will have a raven sent to the Twins to inform lord Walder," said Edmure.
"Do so," Robb said. For a short moment, they all looked at each other, uncertain look in the eyes of his mother and her brother. As uncle Edmure started getting up from his seat to see the maester a knock came from the door of the solar.
"Yes?" Robb said and a guard entered. "What is it?
"My king, there is a man here who is demanding to speak with you," the guard said.
"Did he say what about?" Catelyn asked.
"He says he brings word about the king's brother Jon," the guard said and Robb froze. Jon, he had not seen his brother since their father sent him to Highgarden all those years ago. They kept in contact but not as much as they would like to. Since Jon left his mother tried to discourage him and his siblings from sending any letters to their brother. The mention of Jon brought back old memory from when they were kids, they were inseparable back then, like twins. He missed his brother greatly when he first left, but as time went on Robb started getting word about his brother's accomplishments and he became happy, for his brother was making a name for himself, something he probably would not have been able if he stayed in Winterfell. Catelyn was a carrying mother but she never showed any love for Jon, not as far Robb could remember.
His mother had told him that she met Jon when she went to negotiate will Renly Baratheon, Jon being one of his kingsgaurd. Later when Renly was killed and his mother returned to Riverrun empty-handed Robb asked her why did not she take Jon with her, her response being that it didn't cross her mind. His mother had also told him that Jon was in possession of Lady beside his own direwolf.
After the Tyrells sided with Joffrey Robb feared that his brother had been captured and joined their sisters as a prisoner in the Red Keep but no word of him reached them. A while after that they heard a rumor that Loras Tyrell went missing but as far as the news from the Reach went that was it. They were all too preoccupied with things they had here. Robb hoped that the news this man brings were good, that he didn't lose another family member to the Lannisters.
"Why would we want to hear anything about that stain on my sister's honor?" Edmure said and Robb turned his head to glare at him, his uncle shifted under the glare.
"Send him in," Robb said and looked at his mother. There was a frown on her face but he could see a flash of hope in her eyes. She also told him that Jon swore that he would find a way to free their sisters. Moments later a tall man covered in a brown cloak and hood entered the solar.
"Lord Stark," the man said, standing straight.
"King Robb Stark, you should show some courtesy," his mother said. The man only smirked.
"Lady Catelyn, it's good to see you haven't changed," the man said. Robb looked at his mother who had raised an eye brow, did she know this man?
"You say that you have news about my brother Jon, why should I believe you?"
"It is for you to choose to believe or not, it's only mine to bring the news," the man said. Robb noticed that his older uncle leaned forward in his chair, trying to see the face under the hood.
"You may say what you have but I wish to know to who I'm talking to first, remove your hood ser," Robb ordered in his lord voice, one that he learned from his father when he spoke to his bannermen. The man slowly removed his hood, the man had brown eyes that matched his beard and shoulder-length hair. He heard a gasp coming from his mother and both of his uncles looked taken back, Edmure more than Brynden, who composed himself quickly.
"Raynum Darry," said Brynden in a surprised and yet happy tone. Robb remembered that Darry was one of the men his grandfather had sent when Gregor Clogane first started attacking the Riverlands and that his father sent him to deal with the Mountain.
"Brynden, you stubborn old goat. Surprised to see me?" the man said cheekily.
"I am," Brynden replied.
"Wait.. but. .. everyone said you were dead, killed by the Mountain," Edmure said.
Raymuns face turned hard as tone, a sad look in his eyes. "That was a tight spot, the bastard ambushed us while we were on the road, we lost many good men that day but I live as you see."
"Then what took you so long, why haven't you sent word?" Brynden asked.
"It is a long story, at first I had to avoid capture, then reach safety and then I had to help some friends with an important mission. That's why I'm here now," Robb nodded, he disliked the vagueness of the explanation but he knew there would be time to hear it in full detail.
Robb knew that his family wanted to know how lord Darry survived and he wanted too but right now we wanted to know about his brother more. "You said you had word on my brother," Robb said in a serious tone.
"I do my lord," the man said and his mother interjected once more.
"He is the king, lord Darry, your king, be mindful of that."
"He might be yours but not mine," Darry said and his mother glared at him.
"You sided with the Lannisters?" she asked.
"Seven hells no, I would rather hang myself from the gates of my own castle than side with Tywin Lannister," Darry said, looking offended by his mothers words.
"Then who, Stannis?"
Raymun shook his head "I think its best to start from the beginning. As I said I came here to deliver word about Jon Snow."
The Blackfish
The days started normally, well as normal as any day in the middle of a war could. He woke up, got dressed in his leather armor the one he usually wore when he was with his outriders, choosing it instead of plate, there were no Lannisters or Tyrell soldier anywhere near Riverrun so there should not be any surprises today. He broke his feast with his nephew and some other lords and knights and after that went to the courtyard to supervise the training of soldiers and to get some training himself. After that, he was summoned by his great-nephew to what was once his brother's solar, now Robbs.
He grieved for his brother, Hoster and Brynden might not have always seen eye to eye on many things but they were still brothers. When he first saw what the sickness had done to his brother he was shocked, his once tall, strong and broad brother had become a shrunken shadow of himself. He was thankful that Honster lasted as long as he did, that he managed to see his brother once more before he died and make amends.
When he entered the solar he expected many things, discussions about the war, news from Kings Landing, news about the North, or even about Arya and Sansa but he never even imagined that a dead friend would enter through those doors.
He squired for Lord Darry in his youth and had become good friends with all of the family. House Darry did support the Targaryens during the rebellion and Robert did punish them for it but Brynden held to ill will towards them he was actually saddened by the news he received after the battle of the Trident, he hoped that the Darrys would be lucky enough to survive the battle but out of four of them only one did, the youngest Raymun.
"Where is my brother?" Robb almost growled, he could see his nephew's frustration. The bastard boy might be an insult to his niece's honor but he understood Ned's actions, when in war you think that every day is your last and if you are to die tomorrow might as well enjoy the last night on earth. That is not to say that he wasn't surprised when he received news of Eddard fathering a bastard, that seemed more like something that Robert would do.
"That I can't tell you with certainty, the only thing I know is that he was seen heading south. We know that Ser Loras Tyrell and at least one other knight accompany him."
"Why would Loras Tyrell be with him, his family has sided with the Lannisters," Catelyn said.
"It seems that Ser Lorass loyalty lays with Jon and not to his family," Raymun said. Brynden wasn't sure what to think, the Tyrells have sided with the Lannisters but news about the disappearance of the youngest of Mace Tyrell's sons did reach them, even if they tried to mask it by telling everyone that the boy was still at Highgarden. That Loras Tyrell chose Snow over his own family was more than a bit surprising but Brynden then thought about the powerful bond that could have formed between the two if they were ready to follow each other anywhere. Sometimes the bonds former by fostering could be stronger than family bonds, Robert and Eddard proved that.
"The Lannister's arent hunting them?" Robb asked.
"Olenna Tyrell had sent several search parties to find them but they failed and I don't think the Lannisters had really thought about him."
"That is good to hear," Robb said.
"Where are they going?" asked Edmure.
"If they are going south that only leaves the Stormlands or Dorne," Brynden said.
"We have thought the same thing," Darry said and Robb raised an eyebrow. This was the second time he said we, it means he wasn't alone.
"What do you mean we?" Robb asked leaning on the large wooden desk that once belonged to his brother.
"I'm not the only one who seeks Jon, I'm a part of a group," Darry said and this seemed to pick everyone's interest.
"What could you possibly want with a bastard?" Cat said and Robb turned to glare at her. Once done he returned his gaze to Raymun.
"What group?" Robb asked.
"A group that wants to bring peace to the realm, to place the rightful king on the throne. A group that wants for the seven kingdoms to be ruled by a just and honorable man."
"And who would this rightful king be?" Brynden asked.
"Jon Snow," Darry said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world and Catelyn laughed.
"A you seek, to place a bastard on the throne. You must be joking."
Raymuns face was now serious, he looked at Catelyn with wary eyes. "I'm serious my lady, although he is no bastard."
"What?" Catelyn shrieked. He could see worry flesh before her eyes. Over the years Cat had sent few letters to both him and Honster telling them how she feared that the bastard would one day try to take Winterfell from Robb. He wrote in his letter that that would never happen, the lords of the North are too loyal to Ned to support the boy even if he tried.
Robb looked at his mother with a surprised expression and then turned his gaze towards Darry. "Please explain."
"I could but I fear that I don't know all the details but I have a letter from someone who does," Raymun said and pulled a piece of paper from his cloak and handed it to Robb. There was no seal on it. Robb opened the letter and read it. After a long moment of reading Robb lowered the hand in which he held the letter, his face shocked and slightly pale.
"You really think I would believe this lie, that my own brother is… is..." Robb said glaring at Darry.
"It's the truth my lord, I swear it before the gods."
"Robb, Robb what's it say?" Cat asked.
Robb glared at the Darry lord for a moment more and then sighed. "It says that Jon is not father's son," So, Ned really not fathered the bastard and held to his oaths after all. But if he wasn't Neds then whose? The boy had the Stark looks if what he heard was true, there was only one other man he could think of that could be the bastard's father, Brandon. But why would Ned say that the boy was his? What his nephew said next, threw everything he had thought into the dirt. "It says that Jon is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and my aunt Lyanna."
Silence filled the room for a long moment, Robb just looking at the letter in his hand, Cat staring at the table processing what she just heard and Edmure staring at Robb as if he was a madman.
"If that's true then the boy is a product of rape," Edmure said but he barely registered it, he was too busy thinking the same thing. The prince raped Lyanna and the boy was the result of that. She must have died in labor or after but then why did Ned say that the boy was his?
"Not rape," Robb said and all eyes turned to him.
"What?" Edmure asked.
"It says here that it wasn't rape, that she was never kidnapped, she went with Rheagar willingly."
"That can not be true. We all know that the prince took Lyanna and that lead to the events that started the war," Edmure said.
"It says that the prince and aunt Lyanna were in love," Robb said, his expression was heavy, he looked like he didn't want to belive what he was saying.
"Let me see that," Brynden said and took the letter reading it once and then twice. He read every detail, carefully processing every word. Then finally he saw the signature at the bottom of the letter. "Gods, fuck me if this is true."
"It is," Darry said once more.
"What does it matter even if they were in love the boy is still a bastard just not a Snow but a Blackfyre," Edmure said and Raymun gave him a glare which made his nephew shift in his seat.
"The boy is neither a Snow nor a Blackfyre he is a Targaryen, it says here that the two of them were wed after the prince revoked his marriage with princess Elia," he said. Brynden looked at his great-nephew and then at his niece, she looked like she wanted to say something but Robb beat her to it.
"Why should I believe these lies, my father would never lie about something like this, my father was a man of honor."
"I don't deny that my lord but maybe you should think about this from his perspective, your father found out that he had a nephew that was of Targaryen blood and he knew well what Robert would have done it he found out that Ned harbored a son of the man he hated the most. Prince Rhaegar was a good man, he would have never dishonored lady Lyanna, he was your uncle and Robert killed him.
"Everyone says that my brother looks more like my father than me or any of my other siblings, he doesn't have silver hair or purple eyes like the Valyrians have."
"That is true, the boy does take after his mother when it comes to coloring but I have been told that the boy was other aspects that he was inherited from his father, such as the curly hair and build. I have also heard that he is prone to melancholy at times."
"Form who did you hear that?" Robb asked.
"Haven't you checked the signature boy," Brynden said, Cat and Edmure looked at their uncle. "It's signed by Richard Lonmouth."
Jon
Morning came and they were all prepared to leave Blackhaven, their horses were saddled, their armor on them and had enough provisions for the road ahead, courtesy of Ser Tristan. The steward and some of the castle guards stood in the main courtyard waiting to say their farewells to them. Jon rode up to the steward.
"I thank you for your hospitality Ser Tristan, it was truly a pleasure to be your guests."
The man chuckled "The pleasure was all mine Ser, it's not every day that knights like you come here, let alone friends of lord Beric."
"I thank you again Ser and we are sorry for any inconvenience we might have caused."
"You have nothing to be sorry about, it is how it is," the steward said. "I doubt that my son will ever change."
"Speaking of the wolf," one of the guards said as Philip walked out of the great hall and onto the courtyard.
"Souber, are we?" Tristan asked.
"Yes father," Philip replied in his usual serious manner.
"Well, we are to see our guests off, do you have anything to say to them?"
"I wish you luck on your journey Ser Jon, Ser Loras I hope we meet again someday."
"Aye me too," Jon said. He could see that there was something different about the younger Cole, his demeanor was a serious one but he could see it in his eyes, there wasn't as much as much guilt in them as there was before. It will take time for him to heal but he will get there."Just think about what I said, alright?"
"I will Ser Jon, you have my word."
Jon nodded to Philip "I hope we seen each other again Ser Tristan, I wish you good fortune to keep these people safe."
"Thank you, Ser,"
Jon turned his horse around. "Let's move out, we got a long ride ahead!"
The steward took a step forward "Just one warning before you go," Jon turned his head to look at Cole "There have been words of bandits in the Red mountains so I suggest you be careful while crossing them."
"We will ser, don't worry, Farewell," Jon said and the rest of their little company said goodbye to the people of Blackhaven and rode through the main gates, riding south towards Dorne, the wolves right behind them.
They rode until Blackhaven was out of sigh, then Robar rode next to Jon.
"An interesting place, isn't it?" asked Loras.
"Maybe, but from now on I say we be more careful, so far we did whatever we could to cower out tracks but proceeding further I think it's going to take more than that," Robar said. "We have been lucky."
"You need to relax," said Loras but Jon agreed with Robar.
"No, Robar is right, we have been lucky so far and according to what we have been told there could be problems on the next stretch of our journey."
"A few bandits in the mountains, so what?" said Loras "We fought and survived a battle, few mongrels with rusted swords won't be a problem."
"The Targaryens said the same thing until the bandits became an army and were lead by the Volture king, hasn't your maester taught you about the second and third Dornish wars?" Robar said.
"I never paid much attention to what Lomys said, it was too boring, I always preferred being in the practice yard than there."
"I once meat a man that said that the Dornish were all crazy, that all they wanted to do is fight and fuck, fuck and fight, in that order," Grenn said.
"And who told you that?" Jon asked.
"I think it was some sellsword from the Riverlands."
"Dorne is certainly different than the rest of the seven kingdoms, from what I heard they are a lot more lenient when it comes to mostly everything, and they like spicy food, and it's also not uncommon for a person from Dorne to have multiple lovers," Jon said.
"The Dornish are a lot of crazy bastards that know nothing but how to dwell in the sand and we will leave it at that," Loras said in a low tone, a hint of anger in it. For a moment the three other men said nothing, silently agreeing to oblige Loras. They traveled until the soon had begun to set and they made camp near an old rundown hut they found next to the road. Loras was preparing the meal while Robar was tending to the horses and he was with Grenn training.
After some time of practicing Grenn stopped and lowered his sword. "What's with Loras and the Dornsih, he doesn't seem to like them?"
"It's a long story, there was a lot of bad blood between the Reachers and the Dornish, and that includes the Tyrells. The most recent thing was when Oberyn Martell caused Lorass brother Willas to be crippled during a joust. There has also see something about the Martells orchestrated the death of his ancestor. If you want more you will have to ask Robar, it seems like he has all the answers when it comes to history," Jon said.
"Will we face trouble in Dorne?"
"I don't know, officially Dorne is neutral but I doubt that they have love for Reachers, let alone Northmen or Knights of the Vale. My father and Lord Arryn did lead the rebellion which caused the deaths of many of their countrymen, I even think that my father slew more than a couple of Dornishmen during the battle of the Trident. "
"And Arthur Dayne," Grenn said.
Jon sighed "Yeah, that has to be his most famous kill. Servants around Winterfell always said that my father faced Ser Arthur in single combat and won, something no one had ever done before."
"Your father must have been some warrior if he managed to beat ser Arthur," Grenn said.
"He was," Jon said in a sad tone, his gaze lowered towards the ground. The memory of his father still hurt.
"I-I'm sorry, I should have brought it up," Grenn said regretfully.
"It's alright, it's not your fault," Jon said shaking his head. "Let's get back to training."
Petyr
Petyr sat in his seat at the small council table in the tower of the hand, lord Tywin sitting on its head, the old fool of a maetser Pycele sat to the hands right, then next to him sat Varys and then Petyr. On the left side sat the queen, lord Mace, lord Redwyne and Tyrion. They were all discussing the current affairs of the realm, they started with the war effort, Lord Tarly being ordered to march his troops into the Riverlands and link up with the Lannister forces there. They discussed the crow's debt to the Iron Bank of Bravos, the current solution was to increase taxes so they could start paying off more. The queen gave an interesting proposition that they should ignore the debt because it was not Joffrey who borrowed money but Robert. Petyr had to suppress a laugh, the queen was truly so arrogant that it made her decisions all the more stupid, no one can just borrow money and not return it, the Iron Bank always gets its due. Lord Tywin didn't even acknowledge his daughter's idea, instead, he moved on to the next issue, the royal wedding.
He could see a glimmer of satisfaction in lord Tyrells eyes but when it came to the queen, he could see disgust behind that fake smile of hers. He knew why she hated lady Margaery, the young lady had so far managed not only to warm up to Joffrey but he actually seemed to listen to her, something he did less and less when it came to his mother. Cersei wanted nothing more than to be in complete power, something she could get through her son but ever since Tyrion and subsequently, Lord Tywin and the Tyrells arrived her efforts had been thwarted. Tyrion had reduced both the king's influence and the queens after his arrival and since Tywin arrived all eyes looked to him for guidance. People might fear the king and his mother but they were terrified of the Great lion much more.
Petyr did admire Tywin Lannister, the man who pulled his house from the mud and turned it into the most powerful in the realm. When Tytos was lord the Lannisters became a laughingstock but Tywin corrected that with a swift and crushing blow to the Reins and the Tarbecks. After that, he became the hand of the king and ruled the Seven kingdoms for twenty years while the Mad king sat on the iron throne and pretty much did nothing. Later he destroyed the very house he once served and put his on the throne. The man did indeed rise high, but so will Petyr in time.
The council meeting was concluded and he moved to return to his solar, as he walked through the halls he passed Osfryd Kattleblack who gave him a silent nod first and then said "My lord," Petyr hoped that the man had found something useful because after the conversation he had with the queen yesterday he felt it was the right time to create a gap between the Tyrell and the Lannisters.
He was just walking out to a small courtyard when the queen's voice caught his attention. "Lord Baeslish."
He turned to see the queen. "Your grace," he said with a bow offering a kind smile.
"I wonder if I might ask you for a favor," she said.
"Of course your grace," he said.
"I have suspicions that house Tyrell doesn't have the crow's best interest at heart."
"Of course, but have you shared these suspicions with lord Tywin?"
"My father is a practical man, he appreciates facts. And he appreciates those who help his family as you well know. Just like me."
"And what doesn't the queen wish of me?"
"I know that you have a good relationship with the Tyrells ever since you brokered the betrothal between Margaery and Joffrey, so I thought you could look into it."
"I am a servant of the crown, I shall do my best."
"Thank you and your best will prove to be better than when I asked you to locate Arya Stark"
"I assure you that it will," he said and she left, leaving him alone with a satisfied grin on his face. Now he had a perfect way to do what he wants and the queen will do the dirty work for him. The lions are the roses will be at each other throats soon enough and the mockingbird will laugh from up high.
He spent the rest of the day doing his duty as master of coin, going to various ledgers, documents about the income of the capitals port and other financial reports. When he was finally done he made his way out of the Red Keep and into the city, towards one of his brothels where one of the Battleblacks should come to report. When he finally arrived there he found that to his amusement the man was already there balls keep inside one of the whores. The Kattleblacks were simple men with simple desires so it wasn't hard to get them on his side. As long as they get their coin and have somewhere to satiate their needs they will stay loyal. He told one of the whores to inform the knight to come to his solar when done.
Twenty minutes later the man walked inside the room fully dressed in his armor. "Ser Osfryd, I hope that the entertainment was to your liking," Petyr said, a sly smile on his lips.
"She was, my lord," the knight said grinning. He found that out of three Kattleblacks the youngest to be the smartest but not by much. At least this one had a talent for seducing women.
"What news do you bring me, have you managed to find out anything on the Tyrells intentions?" Petyr asked.
"I did my lord," Osfryd said and he could not help but smile. "One of the maids said that she heard lady Olenna mention both the names of lady Sansa and lord Willas," Petyr put his hand on his chin, that by itself was not much to go by, he could guess what the old rose is up to but he needs more. "Another said that lady Margaery and lady Alerie have discussed marriage but not between the king and lady Tyrell. She didn't stay long enough to hear about who exactly they were talking about."
Petyr didn't need any more information, he knew exactly what the Tyrells were up to. It was a good thing that the Tyrells felt so safe around their servants. The roses want to marry Sansa to Willas so they could get access to the North for that alone he could not let them succeed. He had spent a substantial amount of time getting close to the Stark girl, getting her to trust him, he was an old friend of her mother after all, what kind of friend would he be if he let anything happen to sweet Sansa. It was good that the girl was naive beyond comprehension, few sweet words and a mention of a possible way out of here was all it took for him to get her to trust him. Once he would have given anything to have Cat hear him but now he had someone else in mind, some similar and yet so much more. If the Tyrells manage to marry Sansa to the cripple then she would be out of his reach, he needs her here, where he can keep an eye on her.
Petyr grinned "Well done my friend, this news sure has made my day and the queens also."
Now all he needs to do is tell the news of the Tyrells intentions to the queen, who will then spread the word of it to her father. Tywin Lannister won't let an asset such as Sansa Stark slip through his fingers, she was the key to the North. Theon Greyjoy did the Lannisters a favor when he burned the two younger Stark brothers, Arya was lost and probably dead by now and with the Young Wolf being a traitor to the crown, Sansa was the only heir to Winterfell left. Tywin will ensure that he does not lose something so precious, he will probably marry her to one of the Lannister cousins or maybe even Tyrion. He didn't care if the goods were slightly damaged, the important thing is that he gets them.
AN: Thanks to everyone who read and reviewed. The things are starting to heat up Kings Landing. Don't worry the Sansa plot won't be the same as in the books, maybe apart from being wed to someone. There is also going to be more Robb and Catelyn in the next chapters. Also, Jon and the company are getting to Dorne.
Response for the reviews:
Biohazard: As always thank dude.
hateme101: Glad you like it.
Habefan: Because I wanted to deal with it like that, it allows Loras to reflect on his life a bit, Jon starts to think more about his mother. And also the Coles will have a role to play in the future.
Nomad-75: No, Mira is still currently at Highgarden with Willas.
I hope you guys enjoyed the new chapter and if anyone is interested they can take a look at a new story I have started, its called Ours is the fury and it's about Robert bringing his daughter Mya from the Vale to Kings Landing.
