"Well we go to St. Mungo's we visit Alice Longbottom," Molly stated simply, clutching the letter Harry had sent Sirius with the information he got from Neville.
"Molly dear-" Arthur said, coming to a stop beside his wife, as he placed his hand sympathetically on her shoulder.
"You can't just walk in, and ask Alice and Frank where Ginevra is," Sirius responded, with his head held in his hands.
"They're in the permanent Spell Damage ward Molly," Remus said gently.
"I know, I remember the Longbottoms-" Molly began protesting.
"They can't even recognize each other, let alone remember someone they went to Hogwarts with," Kingsley spoke.
"She isn't just someone they went to Hogwarts with, she's my daughter!" Molly spoke, looking defeated.
Tonks rushed over to Molly's side carrying a cup of tea she nearly knocked all over her lap.
Arthur gave her an encouraging smile in gratitude.
"There has to at least be something we can do," Molly sighed, taking the tea from Tonks.
"There are few of us left who went to Hogwarts together-"Remus said, rubbing his temple in thought.
"Alice, Lily, James, the Prewett's Snape and Regulus," Sirius recited to himself.
"What's that?" Moody asked, leaning closer.
"It's his list, everyone Ginny was close to," Lupin answered,
"Yes, but they're not of much use to us now are they," Moody said roughly.
"Has no one stopped to wonder why you-know-who is looking for her?" Tonks asked.
"When he was still Tom Riddle he had a fascination with her," Remus answered.
"James always thought that she ran off with Regulus to join you-know-who," Sirius added bitterly.
"Maybe she did-"Kingsley, said standing up.
"That's our daughter!" Arthur protested reaching for Molly.
"No he has a point, what if Regulus was Ginny's way in, what if she was trying to stop you-know-who," Remus agreed, defending Kingsley excitedly.
"Except she didn't, James and Lily are dead, and Voldemort is starting his rise to power again," Sirius cut everyone off. "Are you saying that Ginevra is just lying in wait, that she's been hiding somewhere for all these years,"
"That's exactly what I'm saying," Remus said, a wide grin spreading across his face. "Think of it, she knew exactly what Tom Riddle would become-"
"Ginevra would do anything for the people she loved," Sirius responded, not believing that Ginny would leave everything they had behind to single handily taken on Voldemort.
"Excuse me," Sirius said, getting up from the table, fumbling his way out of the room while the others discussed talking to Alice and Frank, and talking to Dumbledore.
Sirius realized however, she hadn't been alone she had taken Regulus. The truth was she had trusted Regulus, and even when his brother died, she still didn't want to trust him.
