Star was in bed waiting for her lover she saw a silhouette creeping towards her, looked over and smiled as she walked up to him, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. As she parts, she saw that it was Tom… Star awoke with a shock she shot up and took a deep breath.

"Not again!" She said as she gripped the sheets. It's been at least one month since that night since Marco left…

-Flashback-

Marco was sitting on the side of the bed, his head in his hands, Star holding the blanket over her chest as she refused to look at Marco and neither one spoke, Star then turned to her lover.

"Marco… I… you know I…" Marco then got up from the bed and started to get dressed. "I didn't mean to say that I swear!" She insisted but that didn't stop Marco.

"I'm going to bed." He said.

"Marco wait!" She said but he left, Star soon started to cry. "I'm sorry i'm so sorry!" She said but unknown to her Marco was trying his best to control his anger.

"I thought you were over him!" He said as he went back to his room

-The next morning-

Star was heading to Marco's room, holding a bowl of cereal.

"Marco you awake, I was hoping we could talk about last night. She then knocked again. "Marco?" She then entered the room and saw that it was empty, she then saw her father and mother.

"Mother, Father where's Marco?" She asked.

"Sweetie, he's gone back home," Moon said.

"W-What?" She asked as she dropped the bowl, Toffee then handed her a note from him saying that he'll come back for the wedding, on that day Star couldn't forgive herself she then ran back to her room crying.

-Now-

Star was picking at her food as her parents took glances at her, but nothing they could say can cheer her up.

"Um So Star, how about you and I go bog beast hunting with Uncle River, that always cheers you up?" Toffee suggested

"No thank you." She said.

"Hun, Marco is coming back he just needs some time," Moon said

"But what if he doesn't he took really hard!" She said. "I don't want to lose him." She said

"I know sweetie, but Marco is in pain right now, once he himself out, he'll come back," Moon said Star sighed, Moon then stood up and grabbed her hands. "Hey how about we make some pies, just the two of us that always cheers you up.

"I don't know." Star moaned

"Too bad, cause I got this box of Captain Blanche's Sugar Seeds and I was wondering if you want to try something new," Moon asked holding a box.

"Thanks, Mom, but not right now." She said as she got up and left, Moon gave a worried look to her husband and he returned to the same expression to her.

-With Star-

Star was in her room reading the Family Book of Spells. Star was currently on Skywynne's chapter, the only chapter she ever finished, she always loved reading this chapter and she hoped to show Marco this chapter one day. Star soon closed the book and put it to the side, soon Glossryick came out.

"What wrong, Princess?" He asked

"Why do you care?" She said.

"I always care about my students." He said

"(Sigh) Not that you care, but for me and Marco…"

"Had sex and you screamed Thomas' name? Yeah, I know." He said, Star then looked at him with a shocked expression. "Just because I live in a book doesn't mean I can't see and hear things." He said, Star then smacked him with her tail.

"Anywho, so the boy left, he just needs time and you need to get over Tom." He said

"How can I! That bastard branded me, he tried to rape me multiple times and worse he almost killed Marco!" She then started to tear up. "So why? Why can't I forget him, why do I…"

"Still love him?" Star looked at Glossaryck. "Star, love is complicated and often times it can hurt, but sometimes people do things that can help them move on." He said

"Oh like what?" Star asked

"I think you know but you just don't want to admit it, but it should be obvious since you said his name." He said. Star thought about it and her eyes opened wide and she blushed.

"No! No! I'm not doing that, I will never do that with him!" Star yelled

"Star, the heart wants what the heart wants, if you just get it over with you can probably move on." He said

"And if it doesn't!" She said

"Then maybe Marco was never the one." He said as he returned to the book, Star then kicked the book.

"You're never any help!" She said as she went back to the bed and sat down she then grabbed the photo of her and tom, she wanted to rip it up, stomped on and set on fire, but as she held the moment, but she just couldn't she looked at it and puts it down, she then walked towards her mirror and sighed.

"Call Tom." She sighed

"Calling Tom," The Mirror said a second Later Tom showed up.

"Well hello Starship, what do I owe this little call from you?" He asked Star swallowed.

"Please forgive me, Marco." Star thought as she looked at her tormenter.

-On Earth-

Marco was walking through town, deciding to get some fresh air, with his hood up and bumping into everyone, he soon made it to Britta's Tacos.

"Welcome, how can I help… oh, it's your murder."

"Just the regular please." He said as he handed the money, the person took it and gave Marco his food, he then took it and left as he reached the table and started eating, he soon noticed people staring and whispering, he tried to ignore them, but he soon heard a familiar nasal voice.

"Well well, if it isn't the murder." Marco looked up and saw Brittany Wong walk up to him. "What the hell are you doing here?" She asked

"Eating you want to join?" He asked

"Yeah right, I thought you ran away." He said

"I did and I plan on going back, but…"

"Trouble in paradise?" She asked with a smirk. She then notices him frowning. "I know I'm not the best guy to be around but I was giving it a chance." He said, Brittany then sat down.

"Go on." She asked

"Like it's none of your business, but I'm actually going to marry Star." He said

"Really, well freaks should stay together, but what are you doing here?" She asked

"Something things happened and I needed to get away." He said.

"And how long ago was that?" She asked

"A month." He said

"Wow, I always knew you were a coward, but this is a little much." She said

"Brittany I've been hurt way too many a time, I thought this would be different, but…"

"Oh stop being such a pussy!" Marco looked at her. "Look if you really care about that freak, then talk to her instead of running away like always." She said. "If you care about her then go back and talk to her!" She said, "Oh and don't come back Echo Creek is finally a better place without you." She said as she got up and walked away. Marco then stood up and looked at the rich brat.

"Okay, I might be crazy, and I can't believe I'm saying this but she's right, I've been avoiding this for far too long." He said he then looked over at Brittany's direction.

"Thanks, skank!" He called out making her flip him off, Marco then started to walk home he pulled out his phone and started to call Star after a few rings it straight to voicemail.

"Hey Star, look i'm sorry for leaving but I'm coming back as soon as I can and when I do we need to talk." He said, he then hangs up till he stops in his tracks.

"Wait, how am I supposed to get back there?" He asked himself. "Maybe I can call Moon or Toffee, but I just left suddenly so I don't think the are just going to let me back.

"I think I can help with that." Marco then turned around to see Jackie.

"What do you want?" He asked

"To take you to Star." She said

"Thanks but no thanks, I'll find my own way." He said.

"Look, Diaz, I know we had our differences but I want to help you." She said

"Why?" He asked

"Look, I hate Tom as much as you do and seeing him get angry over you is my other form of entertainment down there, so do you need a ride or not?" Marco thought about it if he might find it easier to get to Mewni from the underworld and he can't pass up this chance.

"Fine." He said, Jackie then pulled out half of a pair of scissors and tore a hole.

"After you." She said, Marco walked through as he did, Jackie smiled and went in.

-Lucitor Castle-

Marco and Jackie walked out of the portal and looked around,

"Thanks." He said as he headed down the hallway.

"Where are you going?" She asked

"I can get to Mewni from here." He said as he was about to leave he heard loud moaning from one of the doors.

"I wouldn't open that door, Tom is a little busy with a special guest." She said.

"Whatever, Thanks, Jackie." He said.

"Also if you get bored with Star, you can always come to have some fun with me, just like last time" She offered.

"HaHa funny." He said as he left as he did Jackie heard a familiar grunt

"About time he finished." She said as she walked in as she did she saw Tom sitting on the edge of the bed, naked and sweating.

"Where did you go, whore?" Tom asked

"I went to help out a friend, and don't call me a whore do I look like here?" She insulted, Tom then tossed a fireball at her.

"Don't call her a whore, remember she only came here for clarity, isn't that right, Princess?" Tom looked back to see Star laying on her side, her body fully exposed.

"I hope that this helped, Starship." He said, Star then got up and started to get dressed.

"It did, now leave me alone and never bring this up ever, or so help me…"

"Relax, I won't say anything." He said.

"You better, and let's be clear, I only did this for Marco." She said

"I know, but my door is always open to ya, in case you want to go another round again." He said. Star soon left leaving the two.

"I hope you know what you're doing?" Jackie asked

"What am I supposed to do? I need Star, who cares what Seth wants, just as long as I get my Star" He said

"And what if he betrays you?" She asked

"I'll incinerate him, it's all about being one step ahead and if he thinks he's going to take what's mine then he has another thing coming." He said

"Whatever." She said as she left him to clean himself up.
