After the failed attempted to tell Marco about her infidelity, the princess soon received am engagement ring that she believed that she didn't deserve, now feeling more guilt she is determined to tell him.

Snowfall covered the kingdom of Mewni, which meant that Stump Day was approaching and everyone getting ready for this "joyous" holiday. But for one princess it was just a holiday day that overshadows a much more important one. Star, wearing a dark red coat with fluffy white trim, and a dark red hat with a large fluffy white pom, and a white brim with white devil horns. Worn with her sea-green dress outfit. Was walking around the castle watching everyone set up decorations and such, she made it to the throne room and found her parents dealing with some last-minute royal duties. Star sighed as she left them. She soon returned to her room and laid down on her bed.

"You have to tell him."

"He needs to know!"

"Do you deserve his trust!" Star heard, she knew that he would find out eventually, might as well be from her, but she was too scared, she didn't want to lose him but this was eating her up, She then pulled the blanket over her

-With Marco

The future prince was walking back and forth in his room trying to think about what to do about Star.

"Hey Star, listen about that day, I've given you enough time and I can't stand it so please tell me what's bugging you!" He said. "No that's too forceful. Maybe I should try and trick her into telling me. Damnit why is this hard?" He asked himself.

"Trouble in paradise?" Marco looked back and saw Janna.

"Oh hey, Janna, happy stump day." He said

"You mean Christmas?" Janna said

"Not on Mewni." He said

"Right... So what's wrong? The puppy misses his master?" She asked.

"N-No I'm just worried. I wanted to see what was wrong, but I didn't pry, I figured that I would give her some time and she'll tell me, but its been months now and I'm getting worried."

"Come on, Diaz you not that much of a pussy are you?" She asked

"Gee glad you are here." He said. Janna then wrapped her arm around his shoulder.

"Look, what I mean is, if something is bothering you you should have dealt with it. So stop being a pussy and man up, your about to be a king of monsters I figured you have much more backbone." Janna said, Marco then sighed.

"You know, you piss me off a lot... especially when your right." He said

"Better go find her, the party is about to start." Janna said as he left the room leaving Janna.

"Welp, time to find his porn mags." Janna said.

-Star's Room

Marco was standing in front of her door, he took a deep breath and entered the room.

"Star? Are you here?" He asked.

"yeah." She called out.

"May I come in?" He asked.

"yeah." She said. Marco then came in and the first thing he noticed that the room was boiling.

"Dang Star, I know you don't like the cold, but don't you think this is a little much?" He asked with a nervous chuckle.

"oh sorry." She said. Marco then sighed as he walked over to her and sat on the bed.

"Come on Star, it's been days you know I hate seeing you like this." He said. "Can you come out?" He asked. Star then lifted the blanket and peeked out. "Come on I want to see my beautiful fiance." He said. Star then slithered out and sat down next to him. "There you are." He said as he kissed her cheek

"Now tell me what's wrong?" He asked.

"(sigh) Marco I've... I..." Star was trying to find the words, but she couldn't she knew what she did was unforgivable, She then started to tear up, she didn't want to hurt him, Star then looked at him and saw the worried look on him. Star then hugged him surprising him.

"Marco you know that I love you and you know that I'd would never hurt you." She said

"Star I know, but what does that have to do with anything?" He asked.

"Marco, I... I can't tell the whole story yet, but please understand that I only did it for you, for us!" She said as she hugged tighter. Marco then pulled her away and looked at her, he saw her tears falling, he then wiped away the tears, Marco then cups her cheeks and Star took his hands in her.

"Star, you gave my life purpose again, and no matter what happens I will never leave you!" He said. The two then touched foreheads. "I love you Star and I will never leave you, no matter what." He said. Star then started crying as Marco held her. "You don't have to tell me the reason if you don't want to." He said.

"I love you, Marco, so much." She said

"Come on, I think the party started." He said. "Plus I think I need to change close I'm drenched." He chuckled. The two then left Star's room, Star went ahead to the party while Marco left to his room to change out of his drenched clothes. As he went to his room, but as he got to the door he felt something bad was going to happen if he opened it, but he didn't have a choice he opened the door inside was someone he thought left him alone.

"Hey Diaz, Happy Stump Day." She said

"What the hell are you doing here!" He asked as he made sure that no one was around.

"Why are you here!" He asked

"I do what I want and I need to get away from that prick." She said as she sat down on the bed, Marco couldn't help but stare at her legs as she crossed them.

"W-What the hell do you want, I thought you were done trying to get me to kill myself." He asked

"I just need to cool down, it way too hot down there!" She said as she lays back, Marco then sighed.

"Fine, just don't touch anything, I need to change." He said as he went to his closet and pulled out a suit and tossed it on the bed, he then took off his shirt and Jackie bit his lip as she stared.

"Do you mind?" He asked.

"Not at all~" She said, Marco soon got dressed in his formal attire.

"You better be gone by the time I come back!" He said

"Why? Are you bringing that little skank back here?" She asked, Marco then walked up to her.

"Star isn't like you! You sold your soul just to get back at me, now look at you, a pathetic succubus that needs to needs to learn her place!" He said as he left slamming the door behind him. Jackie flinched.

"Hmm, I love a strong man, maybe I was wrong about him." She said as she hopped off the bed and reached into her cleavage and pulled out a letter marked 'The Truth'

"Consider this my gift Diaz." She thought. "Maybe when this blows up in his face, maybe I can persuade Marco to have a little fun with me on the side." She said as she left

-Ball Room-

Marco was standing by the wall holding a cup of warm tree sap as he watched Star mingle with the various nobleman guests .

"Man how does Star deal with stuffy stuff." He asked himself.

"Poor Star..." Marco looked back and PonyHead talking to Princess Spiderbite.

"I know right, having her birthday ignored to celebrate some stump, sure it helped Mewni prosper, but she deserves to at least celebrate it once on her actual birthday." Marco heard, Marco then looked at Star who greeted guests with a forced smiled. Marco then got an idea, he soon left the ballroom and too his room, he looked around and saw that Jackie was gone.

"Good, she finally leaving me al…" the then noticed the letter and picked it up, Marco inspected it as he then opened it and saw what was inside.

"What the hell!" He said as he looked at various pictures of Star and Tom having sex while she was blindfolded and note soon fell to the ground and he read it.

"See! Star will always come back to me! No matter what! She is mine now and forever" Marco then thought back to what Star said.

"So that's what she was trying to tell me." He said. Marco then crumpled it up and his arm started to turn purple, but he took a deep breath.

"One thing at a time." He said as he puts the photos back. "One thing at a time."

-Later-

Star, wearing a bunny onesie was getting ready for bed singing a happy tune.

"All hail the Stump, for it is great and kind. Don't anger the Stump, or it will be unkind, The Stump is our savior, we praise it on this day. Keep the Stump in your heart, and let it lead the way " She sang as she spat in the sink as she was about to get into bed she heard a knock on the door, she went over to the door, she looked around and saw no one till she looked down, she saw a trail of confetti, she soon followed it she then found herself in front of Marco's door. She then saw a party hat on the ground she picked it up and puts it on, she then opens the door and saw Marco.

"Marco?" Star asked, Marco then turned around holding a slice of rainbow cake and a single candle. "Marco, what's this about?" She asked

"I heard around that today was my fiance's birthday." He said handing her the cake.

"Marco you shouldn't have." She said

"Well, I want to make… wait is this that "shouldn't have" that ends in something bad?" He asked

"Oh no, it's just that my birthday is not all that important." She said, Marco then sighed as he went up to her and cupped her cheek. "I know, I know, but Star you are more important than some holiday. But it's Stump Day and everyone loves Stump Day than their monster princess. Marco then changed expression. "I know, but Star you…" Marco then kisses her to shut her up.

"You can't do my voice well, just eat the cake I made just for you." He said. Star then took a bite, and fell in love with the taste, she then scooped forkful after forkful, after she was finished she placed the plate down.

"Thanks, Marco, that's was delicious." She said

"Well, I try." He said, Marco then looked out the window and saw the snowfall.

"You know Star, I have to tell you after everything that's happened I'm glad you came into my life, even though I wanted nothing to do with you but you didn't give up on me and I love you more for it. I'm proud to be your future husband." He said, he then looked to his side and saw that Star was asleep. He then placed her on his bed and kissed her forehead. He then pulled out the letter Jackie left and placed it next to Star. He then left the room leaving the sleeping princess. "And i'm going to make sure that you don't suffer ever again!"

-Elsewhere-

Tom was in the room, reading a book while Jackie was on her knees and in between his. Just then the door slammed open and in came Marco.

"Marco! I see you got my letter." He said Marco didn't say a word as he saw Marco's arm drip.

"T-Tom… run." Jackie said.

"From what?" He asked as he saw a purple tentacle grab him and started to choke him he was then sent flying through the wall and into the underworld below, Tom looked at him and was scared.

"What the hell!" He said but before he could react Marco jumped on him and choked him.

"Did you honestly think that a few photos will make me hate Star, your wrong! We make mistakes." He said as he looked at Jackie. "And we will always regret them, but if people like you are going to keep bringing up the past then i'm going to fix them starting with this one, starting with you!" He said. Tom looked at him and saw the dark look on his face. Arm soon son started to expand and extend his arm wrapped around him and started directly at Tom "I'm going to free Star from your hell!" He yelled. "Even if I have to take another life!" Tom's eyes then turned white and a large blast sent Marco flying he then looked up and saw Tom walking up to him.

"You want a fight freak, then I'll be happy to oblige you!" Tom said as he ignited and charged towards Marco.
