After finding out, what Star did with Tom, Marco went to the underworld to deal with this once and for all.

-On Mewni-

Star's eyes fluttered open as she looked around she sat up and stretched she looked around and found that she was alone.

"Guess I doze off." She said as she got out of bed and left her room as she did she saw the royal guards running around she tried to ask what's going on, but they just ignored her, Star soon went to the throne room and found her parents.

"Mom, Dad what is going on?" She asked Moon then looked at her with a worried look.

"Star, do you know where Marco is?" She asked

-Meanwhile-

Tom and Marco's fight was shaking up everything around them, Tom would try and scorch him, but Marco would use his slime to prevent it from burning him, Marco soon wrapped his tentacle around him and slammed him down repeatedly, but Tom summoned a pillar of fire and freed himself the two got some distance from each other. Marco looked at his scorched arm, he then ripped it off.

"Do you honestly think that you can stop me, I'm a prince I always get what I want and if I want that half-breed freak then I'll have her and I refuse to lets some backwater freak of a human stop me!" He said as he grabbed him by his shirt he then held up his hand and set it on fire. "Let's see if Star will love a faceless freak!" He said, Marco then sends his head forward head butting him. Marco soon strained himself and his tentacle grew back.

"You know Tom if you need to use your title then you are truly pathetic." He laughed. As he looked down at him.

"What did you say!" Tom yelled.

"I mean, you knew her all your life, you branded her and you only had my sloppy seconds, I only knew her for a few months and now we're getting married and I'm just some, how did you put it? A freak from earth while you are a prince, hell you even have Jackie as a slave and yet you still want Star, learn to accept reality and move on!" He yelled as grabbed Tom and wrapped his arm around him and started squeezing him, Tom tired to light his hand but Marco's arm made it impossible. Marco then lifted him up and slammed him down again, Marco arm then coiled up and shot out at a fast speed, Tom snapped his fingers and Jackie appeared before him, he held her in place as Marco was forced to pierce her, Jackie looked back at him with Anger.

"Y-Y-You bastard!" Jackie said

"Sorry, but I can't afford any scars, besides your already dead." He said, Marco's arm then pulled back and Tom looked at him with a smirk. "If I remember Marco should be shocked to have stabbed her again." Tom thought but he saw Jackie's body being sent towards him, Tom soon fell as he saw Marco walk towards him but as he got closer, what Tom saw wasn't Marco, his tentacle was much longer and it seems that half of Marco's body was turning purple, his eye was pure white and he had sharp fangs now. Marco was now a monster.

"Stay back you freak!" Tom said as he was about to shoot fire, Marco's tentacle wrapped around his hand and pulled it off, Tom yelled in anguish as he felt his arm being ripped from his body. Marco then wrapped his arm around Tom's face muffling his screams, Marco then pulled him close to his face and slammed him onto the ground. Tom then looked up at him. Marco soon raised his arm up and coiled his arm into a ball and was about to slam it, however…

"MARCO STOP!" Marco soon stopped just inches from Tom's face, the two soon looked over and saw Star. Marco soon backed away and covered his face, Star looked around at all the damage around her, she then went up to Marco who refused to look at her. She then placed a hand on the tentacle and pushes it down.

"Come on it's okay." She said, Marco soon relaxes and Star got a good look at his damage and started to get teary-eyed. She soon cupped his cheeks. "Look at you, you did this for me, didn't you? Even though I'm a total slut." She said.

"N-not S-S-Slut," Marco struggled to say.

"Shh, don't talk." She then placed her forehead on his. "It's okay, you don't have to clean up my messes anymore." She said as she backed away she went to Tom.

"S-Star, you saved me did you realize that we are meant to be?" He asked. Star then raised her wand and a green beam surrounded him encasing him in crystal.

"What!"

"I had Rhombulus teach me his crystal manipulation spells for protection." Star said she then held up her wand directly at his heart. "Tom, you will always have a special place in my heart, you were the first person to show me kindness outside my mom and dad, but when we got older you change, there was a time where I would have chosen you to be my husband, but that night…" She then placed a hand on her back where his mark was. "The night you place this branding on me… you made my life hell and I wanted to just die, but thanks to you I was able to be with Marco." She said

"Oh cut the crap, you know damn well that freak is unworthy of you or the throne, you should just leave him and be with me!" He yelled. Star then bit her lip as she held her wand with both hands. "Forgive me, Mom."

"I call the darkness unto me. From deepest depths of Earth and sea. From ancient evils unawoken. Break the one who can't be broken. To blackest night I pledge my soul. And crush my heart to burning coal. To summon forth the deathly power." Star then looked at Tom one last time and started to cry. "To see my hated foe devoured!" She recited, her wand's head turned black and a beam shot out through Tom's chest leaving a gaping hole, but no blood came out, Tom's eyes were blank his hateful stare was forever plastered on his face. Star soon dropped her wand and looked at her handy work, She soon fell to her knees and started crying. "I'm sorry Tom." Marco then came up behind her and held her, but unknown to them someone was watching from a distance.

"That fool was finally useful for once, too bad he had to die like that I could use more of a distraction, but I guess the royal chaos this will cause will be enough." the person said as he pulled out a pair of scissors and opened a portal. "The Fall of Mewni is close at hand it's time to get the next phase started." He said as he left.

-Days Later-

Star was in her room resting after using such a powerful spell on Tom when the two came home, Moon and Toffee had rush Star to the infirmary, but she was worried about Marco since they didn't take him with her. Moon informed him that the damage to his body was beyond what they have now and left him into the care of the Magical High Commission. Since then Star refused to leave her room until they confirmed that she could see Marco, but that wasn't the only thing keeping her there. News about Tom's death spread all over Mewni and Star was dead center, relations between the other kingdoms dwindled as a result but it was the Lucitors that were apologizing,

"Were so Sorry that Thomas did this, this was because we didn't keep a good eye on him, please forgive us!" Dave said

"It's fine if anyone should apologize it us." Toffee said.

"Still our child has tormented your daughter and it is inexcusable, I hope that this doesn't affect our relationship." Dave insisted

"It's won't, I promise," Moon said. Since then the Butterfly Family has been under much fire that even their relatives have to be called in to deal with things which meant it was hell for both Toffee and Star, but that wasn't what Star was focusing on, her main concern was Marco. Her thoughts were then interrupted by a knock on the door.

"MonStar, you in there?" Star soon jumped out of bed and rush towards the door and found her father looking exhausted.

"Dad, you look like you have seen better days," Star said

"I could say the same to you." He said the two chuckled as they went to the bed and sat down. "How have you been dear?" He asked, Star then looked at her covered hands. "I've been better." She said

"How is Marco?" Star asked Toffee sighed.

"I don't know, your mother told me that Hekapoo and Omnitraxus Prime is overlooking his process, Marco did some major damage to himself, so he'll be healing at the sanctuary." He said

"Alright, do you think I'll be able to see him soon?" She asked.

"Don't worry once he's better he will be back." He said

"Oh thank Corn," Star said.

"Well, I better get back to work before your mother collapses without me " He said as he left, but before he could leave, Star stopped him.

"Hey Dad, do you think that you can forgive yourself after you did something so horrible?" She asked, Toffee then looked at his daughter and with a flash saw himself. He then shook it out of his head.

"Sometimes, but if you hold onto some memento from the past then it'll be even harder, but your mom always told me this saying "Baloo-balee, Baloo-below. I let you go, I let you go!" He said.

"Thanks, I think I'll try it." She said, Toffee soon left the room and back to work as he did Star soon took out her picture of Tom went to the trashcan and dropped the photo she then used her wand to burn it.

"Baloo-balee, Baloo-below. I let you go, I let you go!" She said as she left but soon returned to put out the fire.

-Meanwhile-

Toffee was walking down the corridors trying to think about his current situation, now that Tom dead, he doesn't have to worry about Star's safety, but what she did to herself might cause another problem. Toffee soon made it to his study and pulled out a bottle of swamp water. He then looked out the window and sighed and he took a swig.

"This is not how I wanted this to end up, my successors is a human, Star used a forbidden spell and now Tom is dead can this get much weirder?"

"How about worse?" Toffee then froze and look back and saw him.

"Sir, what are you doing here?" He asked

"Your little brat is ruining my plans." Seth said

"Please, I'll take care of it just don't do anything to her." He begged. Seth sighed

"You've grown soft, General we don't have much time." He said, Toffee then looked out towards the woods.

"I know, just give me till the wedding." He said

"You had years. Either commit to my plan or lose everything you hold dear." Seth said as he went to the window and hopped out. leaving a distracted king he then sat down and sighed.

"Please, just give me more time." Toffee begged,
