When lunch came around Ginny couldn't have been happier, she found herself starving despite all she had eaten at breakfast that morning.

"Ginevra!" She heard a familiar voice call, and she turned happy to see Severus.

"Hi, heading to the great hall?" Ginny asked, as they fall into step beside each other.

"Obviously," he responded. "Regulus says you're coming to the ball," Severus commented, his face blank.

"I am yes," Ginny smiled.

"Great, at least there'll be someone else worth conversing with," Severus mumbled.

"I was just saying the same thing to Narcissa this morning," Ginny laughed, her pony tail bouncing as she did.

"Narcissa Black?" Severus asked confusion crossing his face as he looked over at her.

"Yes, I'm heading to her manor tonight with her, and I'm attending the ball with her and her family," Ginny responded.

"Odd, Lucius didn't mention this, did she not tell him?" Severus asked.

"How am I to know, she doesn't have to tell him everything," Ginny responded, Severus's question reminding her of the conversation her and Narcissa briefly had in the hall where she mentioned her duty was to marry Lucius.

"Well she should," Severus responded.

'Right, well I just remembered I have something I need to do," Ginny responded smiling politely, "See you at the ball," She added over her shoulder as she turned and walked the opposite way down the hall, pushing through the crowd of students.

Ginny turned the corner and waited until she could no longer spot Severus's head of dark hair and then continued her way to the great hall. It was the way Severus assumed that Narcissa should tell Lucius everything in her life because they were to be married that upset Ginny. She knew she was over reacting, so she left before she said something that would upset Severus, and make an unpleasant and awkward ball tomorrow.

Ginny spotted two familiar red heads sitting half way down the table and beelined towards them.

"Hello boys," Ginny called, squeezing in beside her uncles.

"Little Molly!" They called, squeezing her into a hug.

"Your sister and newphews sent me a lovely Easter Package this morning," Ginny smiled.

"Oi, Molly didn't send us one," the two responded in unision.

"What'd you get?" Fabian asked

"Anything good?" Gideon added.

"Anything you'd like to share?" they both asked.

Ginny laughed reaching into her bag and pulling out a handful of chocolate and passing it to them.

"Excellent taste Molly has," Fabian grinned.

"Superb," Gideon added unwrapping his piece and shoving it into his mouth.

"Tell her I said thank you, it really meant a lot to me," Ginny smiled, "And the card made my heart melt," Ginny added, rising from her seat.

"A card too?" Fabian responded in mock outrage.

"The last card we got was from Arthur and all it said was happy birthday," Gideon added.

"And he only sent Gideon one," Fabian added, pouting.

"He did say he sent his excuse of an owl with two," Gideon responded.

"That sounds like Errol," Ginny laughed.

"Ah I take it the bird was in bad shape when he arrived this morning?" Fabian laughed.

"Something like that," Ginny smiled.

"Have a good Easter Little Molly!" They called out as she headed further down the table where her friends sat.

"I'm starving," Ginny greeted, as she squeezd herself in between Sirius and Peter.

"Well hello love, good to see you," Sirius replied laughing as he watched Ginny load her plate.

"Hi, good to see you," Ginny responded through a mouthful of food.

"It's like you haven't eaten in a week," James laughed from across the table as he looked at Ginny's full plate.

"I had lots to eat this morning actually," Ginny grinned.

"Pancakes and sausage," Lily bragged.

'Sausage," Peter squeaked looking up.

"Oh yes, I think the elves even made extra this morning," Lily added.

"Evans, please," James replied clutching his chest as if Lily were breaking his heart.

"What do you say to skipping last period?" Sirius asked, leaning in to whisper to Ginny.

"Alright," Ginny responded.

'Really?" Sirius asked taken aback.

"Why not," Ginny shrugged.

"You haven't gone to any of your classes yet, and now you're going to skip?" Lily asked, disapproval clear on her face.

"Exactly, why bother going now, I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings by giving them the impression that Slughorn is more important," Sirius replied leaning bak grinning.

"You're so weird," Lily replied, but even Ginny could tell she was holding back a laugh.

"What are we doing?" Ginny asked, excitement bubbling in her chest. It had been a while since she had really spent time alone with Sirius.

"You'll see," He responded cheekily.

Ginny spent all of Transfiguration anxiously waiting to see Sirius.

"You're not even paying attention are you?" Lily asked, sighing.

"Of course she's not," Alice added.

"Sorry," Ginny responded, looking at her two friends. "I just can't stop thinking-"

"About Sirius-" the two girls finished for her giggling.

'Yea," Ginny agreed smiling.

"Well lucky for you, all we're doing is practicing old spells today," Lily scolded.

"Don't pretend you haven't memorized all the spells in the entire book already," Alice grinned.

"Not all of them," Lily grumbled.

"That's still more than everyone else in the class," Alice responded.

"I also worked ahead and completed all the assignments until the end of the year."

"Of course you did," Ginny laughed.

"It's not enough to be the top of the class in potions you need transfiguration too," Alice laughed.

"Girls, a little less gossiping, a little more wand waving if you would," Professor McGonagall called from the front of the class.

The three girls exchanged looks and continued practicing for the remainder of class in silence.

When class was over Ginny was surprised to see Sirius leaning against the wall outside the classroom.

"What are you doing here?" Ginny asked, shocked.

Sirius ignored her question and instead leaned in, kissing her gently.

"If Professor McGonagall sees you out here after skipping her class, she'll give you detention," Ginny added.

"Hush, you worry to much," Sirius responded waving off her concerns as he slipped his hand into hers. "Ready to go?" Sirius asked, as he lead her down the hall.

"Sure, where are we going?" Ginny asked nervously.

"We're not leaving the castle," Sirius responded, as if he could read her thoughts about the last time they snuck out.

"Lead the way," Ginny replied smiling.
