Remus Lupin paced back and forth in the kitchen of 12 Grimmauld Place waiting for Sirius and Severus to return from their trip to Malfoy Manor. For the first 10 minutes he sat at the kitchen table listening to Molly frantically cleaning a newly discovered room upstairs, only to have Arthur find her and calmly talk her down, assuring her that no matter how much she cleaned, it wouldn't bring Ginny back. After a while Remus jumped up making himself a cup a tea, and since it was finished he paced the kitchen, the tea remaining on the counter untouched and cold now as he imagined the worse having happened to both Sirius and Severus, and he laughed at how much had changed. It was ironic that it was Ginevra who tried to bring them all together when they were in Hogwarts, and it was her that brought them together now, that they were older.

"We've been gone for about an hour Mooney and you've lost it," Sirius familiar voice came from the other side of the kitchen.

Remus turned a grin spreading across his face as he let out a sigh of relief.

"And?" He replied crossing the room to embrace Sirius. He wasn't aware of how much he feared Sirius being caught and given the kiss until he left.

"We got the cup!" Severus grinned pulling a golden cup from underneath his cloak as he plopped himself down at an empty seat at the table.

"Oh, excellent!" Remus responded, not exactly sure why this was cause for excitement.

"It's a horcrux," Sirius added, his grin spreading.

Remus looked back and forth between the two and realized he hadn't seen either of them this happy in a long time.

"Are you sure?" Remus asked, taking a seat.

After new tea was made and Sirius and Severus filled Remus in on their visit with Narcissa the three of them sat in silence taking it all in.

"So Dumbledore lied?" Remus asked, the uncertainty in his voice.

"It would appear that way," Severus added.

"Maybe there's an explanation," Remus added on an after thought.

"That is possible," Severus agreed thoughfully.

"No, if Ginny said it was a horcrux I believe her, she wouldn't risk everything if she wasn't sure," Sirius voiced.

"That's what I was thinking, she and Regulus both would have been sure." Severus agreed.

"So we need to destroy it," Remus cut in.

"That makes us one step closer to destroying the Dark Lord," Severus nodded.

"Hopefully a step closer to finding Ginny," Sirius added.

"I think it's wise that we not tell anyone else in the Order about this," Remus said solemnly.

Sirius and Severus exchanged looks, neither said anything, suggestion but it was obvious they all came to the same conclusion.

They no longer knew if they could trust Dumbledore.
