(Hey everyone, sorry for being gone for so long, I've been busy with my job while also making sure to keep myself from catching that ol' Corona virus.
Hmm... Maybe I should've posted that Chapter about the Blue Shadow Virus right now instead of years ago. Oh well. Well here's the chapter that might help be a filler between the battle with of Ryloth from Season 1 and the battle of Felucia from Season 2. For those who do not get, i'm following the chronological timeline of the Starwars galaxy, not from how they were broadcast on tv, to keep in line with the timeline of that galaxy. Sorry for any confusion that any of the future chapters may give you.
Disclaimer: I do not own anything of Star Wars and/or Transformers of any continuity. They are the properties of their respective owners.
Please Read, Review, and Enjoy)
(Just after the Republic freed Ryloth.)
Palpatine smiled as he read the report on the battle on Ryloth. Turning to the holograms of the Autobot leader and Master Yoda, Palpatine said, "I am pleased to hear that our united forces were able to turn the tide of this war faster than it would be thought possible."
"Happy, I am. Saved many lives, the Autobots, have. Saddened by the loss of Autobots, it is." Yoda agreed, his head lowered in brief sorrow for the Autobots who didn't make it.
Kup nodded through the hologram, "We're always willing to fight for freedom no matter what form it comes from. Been doing it since the war for Cybertron began."
"And you have been a shining example of that patriotism. I only wish more can see your heroism instead of seeing you as something so… insultive as to call you a droid." Palpatine stated, before forgetting himself and stated, "Not that there's nothing wrong with a droid, however someone who cannot see the sacrifices you have made to aid us in our time of need should be seen for what and who they are."
Seeing how he was making things worse Palpatine became silent. Kup chuckled, "Don't worry about it, Chancellor. I'm just too old to care what others call me."
"Well, at least we know that the cooperation initiative worked from the results we saw on Ryloth's campaign." Palpatine said, trying to bring a good note from the talk of death. Kup nodded.
"Indeed. I got a report from both Ironhide and Springer on how well they worked with the Jedi they were assigned to aid. Wingsaber however was stating how he's not sure he can fly as good a him or how he'd be useful in a fight on the surface or underground." Kup reported.
"Two out of three good reviews, they are. Hmm?" Yoda asked, smiling at the positive.
Kup shrugged, "Better than none of them getting along at all."
"I'd like to go over with you on who of the Autobots can work with what Jedi and the army they lead." Palpatine stated, earning the attention of the two eldest beings before him. The three heads of their respective groups began to work on the identification and comparison in tactics.
"Don't mean to question your judgement, but why assign Master Kota with someone as profound to combat as Warpath? Especially when he refused to take command of a company of Clones?" Palpatine asked, confused as the suggestion.
"Warpath is a loyal bot but most of his tactics are simplistic and straight forward. Going over Rahm Kota's military record and personal history that Master Yoda had provided to me, we believe that Kota's tactical mind and command method, it could keep Warpath from taking too many risks while on mission." Kup explained his reasoning to the human.
Palpatine nodded, smiling as he got his answer, "Of course, of course. I wish I had about half the military knowledge that you have when it comes to understanding the people under him…"
Kup nodded, though wishing that the politician didn't, after all he's been fighting much longer than anyone from Cybertron know, except for Alpha Trion, who seems older.
After all the choices have been made of for the Jedi-Autobot partnerships. They gave their announcement to the Autobots, Jedi, and Republic Army officer.
Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano walked forward with Rex to see the Autobot dropship landing in the middle of the hanger bay as the sides opened up and Hot Rod walked out towards them. Even as the drop ship went to magnetize itself to the hull of the ship.
Obi-Wan Kenobi was walking with Cody as Ironhide waved to the two of them his drop ship leaving the veteran warrior with the Jedi he was assigned to.
Ki-adi Mundi would begin to look over the holomap of the enemy strong hold when something similar to a lab instrument, to see microscopic organisms, would hover over and zoom in, pointing out a passage way that would be hidden from the droids. Before it transformed into the scientific Autobot Perceptor.
Luminara Unduli with her new Padawan apprentice, Barriss Offee, were on patrol with Commander Gree and his men, unaware of a sniper's scope on them. Before it revealed three Decepticon Vehicons about to ambush them.
Master Unduli remained on guard before she heard the sound of a sniper rifle going off and saw one of the Decepticon foot soldiers fall to the ground, before three more shots and two more of them fell. Barriss and Gree stared in surprise as the three shots hit vital areas. Master Unduli turned where she felt the sniper's scope on them and waved.
Getting up Moonracer holstered her rifle, waved back, and went to the next location to keep an optic on her partners.
Master Shaak Ti and the two bounty hunters who were hired to help train the troopers waited with the ARC troopers Watching as the new Clone cadets were trained to combat against Cybertronians as well as droids. Even as a a forest body, a mechanical version of a bear, and a bear gut.
Aayla Secura and Commander Bly were riding on an electric blue land speeder driving towards the battle when it suddenly stopped. As the Jedi flew out and landed harmlessly, Bly activated the jetpack for this mission to attack the droids from the air as the speeder transformed and revealed itself to be Chromia as she charged forwards.
Rahm Kota and his militia stood at the republic base of their assigned world when Warpath came and looked over them to see strategy. The two of them looked over to the waiting soldiers as they nodded.
The 13th battalion were going through the usual training with Master Tapal's apprentice, Cal Kretis, when the Lasat Jedi saw the holo-form a an middle aged human male approaching, wearing a construction worker's uniform of yellow, brown, and grey. The Autobot insignia was seen where the guild logo would be.
Plo Koon and Warthog seemed to be chased by multiple vulture droids and a few Decepticon seekers. Just when it looked like they were about to be shot down, WingSaber came out of the debris and fired all of his weapons at the enemy fighters.
Master Kcaj and the Autobot warrior, Brawn, were back to back as the droids seemed to have surrounded them but their combined efforts made quick work of the droids. While Brawn fired on the droids Maser Kcaj would use his lightsaber to deflect the blaster fire back at the enemy. For the oncoming droids with their ATT tanks and MTT tanks, Brawn pulled out some sort of detonator that made all of the droids and their vehicles short out. Seeing that there was something wrong, Brawn went and used himself as a shield to protect the Jedi from the explosions from the excess electricity to some of the droids.
Masters Tipee and her sister Tipla would rush through the corridors of a Separatist frigate. They and their troops found themselves surrounded by droids and a few Decepticon seekers. Just as they were about to be fired upon, two speeder sized vehicles went through the force field and transformed to become a red and silver Autobot with a yellow and black Autobot who looked exactly alike of each other before they skidded through the surprised droids. While one cut the legs off one of the seeker, the other made sure to decapitate the other before they worked in sync before the twin Jedi went to join the battle.
Pong looked annoyed as the clones under his command were warming up to the Autobot that was assigned to him. He sneered behind them as his eyes narrowed at the Autobot.
Two commando droids would patrol around a prison complex in the middle of the ocean. They would pass another two before continuing on their way. As the two pairs went on their way they were unaware as an aquatic, humanoid head rose up from the water. Following him were aquatically trained clone troopers. On the other side of the complex there were a number of droids with their Commandant, waiting for one of the occupied sea fairing vehicles coming with a shipment of rebel fighters. Its coloring was different though. Blue, white and yellow at the rear.
As soon as the oddly colored vehicle approached, the droid commander approached and stated, "Prepare for Prisoner transfer."
"Sorry, we're not carrying prisoners." A watery, bubbling, voice came from the driver as a side arm went through the, now apparent, hologram as the droid stiffened in surprise before a blaster bolt hit it in the head and a large squadron of clone troopers were seen jumping out of the sea vehicle as it shifted around them and began firing on the droids. Two clones rolled out of the rear of the boat when it revealed itself to be an Autobot who began to open fire with the clone troopers as the droids fired back.
While the firefight was going on, the commandant tried to escape when the lift opened to reveal that the Jedi Master known as Kit Fisto was there, and activated his lightsaber as he and his team hurried to finish the droids there before restoring the freedom of the people who fought against the Separatists.
Master Eeth Koth and the blue and white Autobot named Beachcomber would help free prisoners on the planet they were held on whether they were native to the planet or republic personnel. Beachcomer made sure to assure the former prisoners that they were safe and free, while Republic gunships came to evacuate the citizens and retrieve their people.
On a world similar to Ryloth a squadron of Decepticon Vehicons and a company of battle droids were escorting a number of citizens captured. The beings were afraid of what the mechanical army of the Separatists would do to them, a couple holding their baby to them.
Soon everyone there, even the droids, could hear the sounds of engines as they saw what looked to be ten land speeder like vehicles with metal like wheels speeding towards them. Before the Decepticons could issue the orders, the five out of the nine vehicles pulled out weapons from their sleek frames and began open firing on the droids and cons. The racing looking vehicle disappeared as if he was mirage while the construction vehicle plowed through the droids, parking himself to the side and opened his rear for the citizens to get on. Two of them, a golden colored Autobot and three others remained around to protect the civilians while the rest continued to make life miserable for the enemy forces. Once completely filled, the four of them left while the fighters of the group kept laying down suppressive fire before they joined the others to evacuate civilians.
Palpatine smiled as he read the reports from how well the combined forces were doing against the Separatists. He was happy about the many reports he were getting on the worlds, big or small, being liberated or taken back by the combined efforts of the Jedi, clone, and Autobot. He would look at the setting sun wondering what the future would hold. Even though, as the sky darkened, so too would his expression.
"YOU ARE FAILING!" Sidious roared as he used The Force to choke his apprentice greatly. Count Dooku was attempting to explain the strings of failures that the combined forces of both Decepticon and Droid armies at the hands of the Republic and Autobots.
"M-Massster… I-ack… If yo-ou c-could let me e-explain…." Dooku pleaded his master, on his knees and trying to attempt to free his breathing passage from the grip of the Sith lord.
Sidious hissed, however, gave his apprentice a chance to give an excuse for the constant strings of failures, even as it has almost been a year since the war began on Geonosis. Releasing his apprentice the Sith lord stated, "Very well, lord Tyranus, tell me why you believe that we continue to lose much ground in our fight with the Jedi and the Republic."
Once, he felt air rushing back through his body again, Dooku rose to stand before his master and made his case, "As you know the Decepticons from Cybertron are as free willed and more emotionally driven than any organic being from this galaxy, and are more competent than the droids. General Obsidian and I have spoken about this and for any strategic key point in the war, we should have someone above their foot soldiers' rank to ensure those key points are not lost. We are not yet ready to unleash the acolytes on our enemies. With your permission, Master, I would like to initiate the recommendation that the general has deduced to give us the advantage against the Republic."
Sidious studied his apprentice and felt through The Force to sense any deception or falsehood if the former Jedi was trying to keep himself from facing punishment. He was unable to find anything to sway him against this, however, "This Decepticon… Do you trust it to not attempt any coup?"
"Despite the intention of the army's name, He has not once shown any signs of deception or betrayal in any of our talks when discussing matters of war." Dooku stated, before commenting, "The soldiers under his command are completely loyal to him and carries out his orders to the letter. That signifies that he is a highly accomplished general who has served a great deal during the war on his planet."
Sidious stroke his chin hearing the report on the Decepticon general from the count. Taking all this in, and what he could gather from the data that was shared by their other-galactic visitors, Sidious looked to his apprentice and stated, "Lord Tyranus, you have my blessing to enact this plan of yours. However, should this fail then you will suffer the consequences, Am I understood?"
"Yes, My master." Dooku answered his master with a bow. Soon the hologram of Darth Sidious disappeared and Dooku turned to the side where the hologram of Obsidian was, waiting for the meeting to end.
"I am pleased to see that your master has seen the logic of this strategy." Obsidian said as his hologram floated from the darkness.
Dooku, rubbing his hand to his neck, confessed, "I was not certain that he would have spared me otherwise had it not been for how you were able to word it so that my master would not punish me."
Obsidian, though seen it with his own optics, asked, "That was the power of this "Force" That your cult wield?"
"One of the ways to use it, yes." Dooku answered, still rubbing his neck from being choked from where his master was.
Obsidian then stated, "Remarkable. I had not detected anything that suggests a technological implements. This would require more study if the possibility my soldiers could use this power in our combined war effort becomes apparent."
"What I am unable to understand was, how my master did not sense you listening in on our communications?" Dooku asked, "More of your people's science?"
"Decepticon ingenuity." Obsidian answered. He then propelled himself over to the hologram emitter and said, "I do find it odd though. Almost perplexing."
"What is?" Dooku asked, approaching the hologram. Keeping his emotions hidden, though curious on what sort of thought did this strategic general had in his metallic mind.
"Your master showed a great deal of anger in the fact we are taking losses, however, if his actions are to be accountable as were his words, you would have been terminated as would any who served under someone as temperamental and dissatisfied with failures as my one true master, Megatron." Obsidian explained turning to the Jedi.
"What are you saying?" Dooku asked, though hoping to The Force that the Decepticon had not discovered the plan to ultimately win the war for both his master and himself.
Turning his optic to the human, Obsidian remained silent before stating, "It would be assumed, by that logic, that he did not care about the war in general, as though…"
Obsidian paused before facing the sith and stated, "As though he had a contingency plan if the enemy forces had won."
Dooku's face stiffened as his body tensed. The sith lord knew that this Decepticon was a master strategist, but he would not believe that he would deduced the plan so soon into their alliance.
Taking in the human's attempts on hiding the emotional reaction of his organic body, Obsidian thought, 'As I thought… they did orchestrated this war from key points of its infancy to the key points of its finality. This Force ability of theirs is truly something that defies logic… We must be careful as to how we can proceed before we can complete the mission to find the Allspark for Lord Megatron to defeat Optimus Prime and return Cybertron to glory. However, if I take in the fact that this Sidious being would punish his servant for the recent defeats, then it would be logical to theorize that the Sith order that he follows has no value in each other and believe that treachery is the only way to power. But this count has either forgotten or ignored this fact and believed that his master will need him in the end… Perhaps… Better to warn a potential ally of the most logical outcome of this staged war.'
Obsidian remained silent as he then stated, "I only hope that when this war reaches its epilogue that you are able to see the fruit of your labor. And not having to worry yourself with the doctrine of your order."
Dooku raised a brow at what the decepticon was hinting, but, it could not be true… He did everything for his master… There was no way that his master would betray him once everything has been completed. Obsidian must be attempting to make him doubt his master.
Dooku narrows his eyes and stated, "I will be sure that we both get to see the results of our work."
Obsidian remained silent as he stated, "Until our next meeting, Count."
With that the Decepticon's hologram disappeared. Dooku was then left with his thoughts, wondering if the general was right.
Once the communications had ended, Strika approached, "What you said about the human's master creating the war, are you certain that this it is accurate?"
"Affirmative, It was in the way he and the Count acted both with each other and how the count reacted to my question." Obsidian told his consort as he floated over to the window of his bridge looking down at the capital city of the Confederacy.
Strika then asked, "But why? Can't he sees that he's wasting resources of this galaxy?"
"He does, but does not care, as the ultimate goal for this orchestrated war is for him to be victorious and claim the political power." Obsidian answered her.
Strika however, clenched her fists, muttering, "Just like the war with the Quintessons, they cared nothing but their own victory, throwing away resources and making their slaves serve them like those mutated Sharkicons they had as war beasts…"
"Precisely. And it now became apparent about one thing…"
"Yes I thought of it as well." Strika agreed before asking aloud, "Why is Count Dooku the face of the confederacy and not his master? The answer would logically be that he is using another face for the enemy forces to rally behind."
"Correct again, my dear Strika. After all, that is the biological fact of all Quintessons." Obsidian agreed.
Obsidian's personal terminal beeped and he looked over the data in this galaxy's written language. He brought a digit to his face and said, "One of the scout ships of the Confederacy has found republic cruisers near the planet known as Felucia. As promised, one of our own will lead the mission, especially after the defeat on Ryloth."
"Such a foolish creature concerned about materialistic wealth more than completing the mission." Strika remarked before she asked, "Who will you send to lead the strike?"
"I will send the best warrior on this vessel out to root out the organics. Logically the Autobots, in their heroic nonsense, will rush to their aid before falling to your might." Obsidian stated, turning to Strika.
"Yes, they will feel the might of our united army under Decepticon leadership and no one will accuse us of being similar to their diminutive drones…" Strika said, accepting the position as she went and walked to her personal air-vessel to lead the army in the Felucia system to battle against the Republic and Autobots.
Once her personal craft attached itself to the hull of the Lucrehulk-class Battleship with the escorts of 6 Separatist frigate, she would watch as the ship began to enter into Hyperspace. As she traveled she read up on the planet that the medical station is in orbit over and found it somewhat fascinating and logical as to why the republic would want to hold such a planet, the herb that is found on that planet monumental for the medical use for their soldiers. Which is why it is crucial for them to blow the station out of the sky and claim the planet. In all her eons of military service, Strika will not fail in completing a mission, especially one that was crucial to the enemy force. Standing up, Strika addressed the droids on the frigates, "Attention all hands, I am General Strika of the Decepticon army. I know that you are all seen as automatons with no processors, but under my command you will show the organics of this galaxy why they should respect and fear you. Without you the Republic you're your creators fear and despise would trample all over their citizens! Without you and the sacrifice of your brothers in arms then they would not be able to hold the line as long as you have in today's warfare!"
"You know, she's right." A droid commented on his section of the ship. Though the Neimoidian commanders in the Droid Control Ship were getting worried.
"If you want to prove yourselves worth of the same upgrades as your brethren in this war, then do it! Show it by not being the cannon fodder that your manufacturers made you to be, In. This War!" Strika finished her speech as she gave them a moment to cheer or get themselves ready for combat.
She then ordered the droids, "Destroy those ships! Blast it out of the sky!"
"Yes sir, General!" The droids chorused before relaying the orders to the gunners. Strika watched as the frigates fired on the Republic cruisers there on Feluca. Strika's face let out a smile at the thought of finally facing the Autobots again for what they had done to Cybertron.
The droid next to the captain asked, "Did you call the general a sir?"
"Of course I did. It's in our programming." The droid captain stated.
"But the general sounded female." The droid told its captain.
Another droid commented, "Oh please… there's no way a female droid can be a general."
The controls next to him exploded, shattering the droid's body to pieces from the station's return fire. The other two droids next to that station commented, "Well that settled that."
"We can't fail the general! We need to prove that the droids in our series can be able to become those droid-icons as the others!" The lieutenant rallied the droids on the bridge.
The captain stood up and ordered, "Divert power from the engines to forward shields, we'll make those ships sink just as the general wanted."
"Yes sir!" All the bridge hand droids replied as they carried out their orders. Never before have the droids felt more motivated than before when they were just following their programming. The Neimoidians on board the Control Ship were amazed that they weren't acting as dimwitted as before. Though afraid by what was going on should they be ordered to execute their masters.
(Seems like the war in the Galaxy has take in a dangerous direction with someone as impressive as Strika leads the droids. Let's see how things will change in the next chapter of Star Wars: The Transformers. I really hope for the better and peace...
Sorry for the confusion from one Jedi and Autobot partnership to the other, but I wanted to show you how each partnership is reacting with each other throughout the known Galaxy during the Clone Wars, like in that one show... can't remember which one...
P.S. Sorry for the short chapter but as I said up top it's filler the real action will occur in the next chapter where the heist of things rises.)
