(Hey everyone, how was yesterday for you? Sorry for taking so long I just have trouble with interrogation and inquiry scenes. if anyone has seen interrogation or inquiry scenes happen before your help to improve this chapter would be greatly appreciated.

Ever since they had returned to Coruscant from Felucia, Anakin began to pace in the room that the Autobots had them in, and hours had passed. Obi-wan was sitting patience, while Ahsoka was tapping her leg impatiently.
The three of them couldn't believe how things happened as soon as they returned to Coruscant especially in the republic shipyard earlier.
As soon as they landed and the Autobots got out of their ship, they were met by Kup and Springer. And you didn't need to be Force Sensitive like the Jedi to know that they are not happy.
Kup walked over with his cane and the bots looked to see their leader approaching the three and asked, "I received the report that someone in your squad broke Prime's Directive… Is that accurate?"
"Yes sir." Hot Rod was the first to speak, "I was the who broke it, if you need to punish anyone, punish me."
"Really? And the others couldn't stop you?" Springer asked not liking what Hot Rod did. Even as he put cuffs on his wrists.
"Do you know what you're confessing lad? If these accusations are proven true you will be forced to go through an inquiry and may be sent to Stasis-lock until further notice." Kup asked looking at the younger bot in the optics.
"Yes." Hot Rod answered not blinking or diverting his gaze.
Drift shared a glance with Ironhide before speaking, "Hot Rod made an impulsive call, but it was the right one as the pirates were going to take the lives of the innocent farmers. And I am as guilty for following his lead."
They didn't expect Drift to confess, but what happened next really threw the two for a loop.
"So did I." Ironhide added offering his arms up for the cuffs. Springer looked, "You? You, of all bots, broke Prime's Directive?"
"Yes sir." Ironhide stated keeping his arms forward for the cuffs.
Springer looked at Kup who nodded.
With a heavy spark the green and yellow Autobot went and cuffed the three accused, "Captain Ironhide… Drift and Hot Rod… You are all under arrest for breaking Prime's Directive and are hereby confined to your cell until your questioning. And if… if the evidence prove that it was not a justified then you will face the appropriate punishment for breaking Prime's Directive."
as he led them, with Autobot soldiers behind them to The Ark's brig to await their inquiry.
Ahsoka looked to her masters and asked, "…Are they going to be okay?"
"I don't know Ahsoka… but I don't understand why the other Autobots are taking this so seriously when they have no problem killing Decepticons or even droids." Anakin said, not understanding.
Obi-wan opened his eyes and answered, "The answer may be that it is because they wish to prove to us that they are different from the Decepticons."
"Huh?"
"What do you mean master Kenobi?" Ahsoka asked, just as confused as her teacher.
Obi-wan spoke, "You both remember how many beings within the republic was cautious about trusting them and only thought they were just giant droids?"
"How can I forget?" Anakin asked, narrowing his eyes at remembering that day, especially all the deaths that were caused by the Decepticons.
"The Autobots' supreme leader must have somewhat fore saw this encounter and implemented these directives to keep the populace of any organic species from believing that they and their enemies are the same despite their origins as the same species." Obi-wan explained, earning a glare from Anakin, and an understanding look from Ahsoka.
Anakin understood… but how can anyone believe that the Autobots and Decepticons are exactly the same when they're different?
The door opened and Rewind came in as the Autobot Mini-con looked and said, "I'm sorry for the delay… but we had to get a room prepared for you due to the size difference between the bots who would like to ask you what happened and yourselves."
The three members of the Jedi Order looked to each other and followed the bipedal mini-con out.
"Why did you and your team break Prime's Directive?" The bot questioning Hot Rod asked
Hot Rode answered, for the umpteenth time, "I told you the pirates were gonna kill everyone unless we weren't going to pull our punches."
"Or is it because you wanted to show your true colors as a Decepticon spy?" The boy questioning him asked.
"You're out of your processor! I'd never join those cons!" Hot Rod shot back glaring at the auto-trooper questioning him, "You know my record I've been an Autobot through and through."
"But you were captured and experimented on which led to your condition." The questioning Autobot said.
"You can't be serious… why would I want to break the directives Optimus Prime gave us?"
"Well given your past it'd make sense. Maybe some of the old feelings you had as a con resurfaced and you though, 'What the scrap, maybe I should spill some organic blood'."
Drift remained calm as he sat there, but that last crack was getting on his nerves, "You are clearly mistaken. I never felt that way of Organics as some of my cohorts did. Especially after it was revealed of Sentinel's Organic phobia."
"That doesn't excuse what you did before you miraculously joined our side or claim to be." The trooper said before stating, "For all we know you're just a sleeper agent waiting for a chance to stab us in the back."
Drift remained silent, this bot chosen to question him must not believe he's truly an Autobot given how aggressive his questions are.
"Drift is an Autobot through and through, and while Hot Rod is a hotshot, he knows the importance values of being an Autobot." Ironhide answered looking at the bot speaking to him.
"That may be but their records…"
"Their records are just of the past. I fought alongside them." Ironhide stated.
"And yet you felt compelled to state in your report that it was both of them who told you that they would need to break article one of Prime's Directive?" The bot questioned Ironhide before holding up a holo-pad and read aloud, "Article One of the Prime's Directive: No Autobot soldier or officer will bring harm to any sentient organic species that they may encounter during their exodus. Any who-"
"You don't need to re-read that; I was there when Optimus made those directives." Ironhide interrupted.
The bot puts the pad down and said, "But that still didn't stop you from blasting the Organic pirates into oblivion. You could have left it to the organic mercs and the jedi to do the fighting instead."
"You weren't there. There were more pirates than there were combatants on the side with the Jedi and bounty hunters." Ironhide shot back, not denying their actions as he recounted the events.
"So you don't feel anything for the organics you shot?" The bot inquired.
"If you're asking if I feel upset about taking the lives of those organics, it's not that easy to answer." Hot Rod answered glaring at the bot questioning him, "If we didn't, the casualties on the felucians would've been worse and This was the only way to keep the farmers who didn't want to fight safe. Besides isn't it the autobot mandate to protect those who can't protect themselves? Or did we just give that up for public opinion?"
The bot sighed as he looked over at the one-way mirror before getting a comm and said, "Kup wants to question you himself…"
He then moved to the side as Kup came in.
Anakin, Obi-wan, and Ahsoka were brought into a room as a hologram of an auto-trooper who looking over information and spoke, "Tell me about the incident involving Ironhide and his team."
"You mean the skirmish at Felucia?" Anakin asked, brow raised.
"The incident where the team of Ironhide has broken Prime's Directive." The Bot continued while he sat across from them.
Each of the Jedi took turns to recount the events while the bot had it be recorded. Anakin was getting tired by how the bot was asking him.
After getting everything, the bot nodded, "Thank you generals, commander, I'll forward this to Kup and those presiding in this case."
As soon as they left the room Anakin got a beep from his , it was from Rex, "General, you better get back to the ship, sir. We've got clearance to help General Windu on Malastare, with a new weapon."
"On my way, Rex." He looks and saw his padawan and mentor remaining behind asking, "You guys coming?"
"Actually, master. Master Kenobi and I were hoping to catch the hearing to see how Hot Rod and the others are doing…" Ahsoka said, smiling sheepishly at her master.
"Oh… Okay. See you when I get back then?" Anakin asked, before hurrying off to get a transport back to the Republic Cruiser.
Kup sighs not sure what to do considering how not many lawyers survived the first half of the war let alone any who took up arms.
His train of thought was interrupted when heard the comms going off. When answered it, he hard Perceptor's voice, "Kup, we have a problem…"
The aged Autobot sighed as he heard this, 'Primus… I need an intake of oil after this solar cycle…'
Time passed as the three accused now stood in a room, while others watched as Kup, Springer, and Jetfire sat before the three of them. On either side was a gallery of autobots who weren't busy with work or a duty watching. Ahsoka and Obi-wan found humanoid size seats for them to sit and watch the proceedings.
"After reviewing the evidence, the three of us have decided that they are innocent of the crime of breaking Prime's Directives." Kup announced. Some bots were relieved while others were in an uproar by how the aren't being guilty of the crime considering they killed organic life-forms, something that their Supreme leader, Optimus Prime, had told all Autobots before staying behind on the planet that Megatron has targeted.
"Despite the fact that you three are innocent you are taken off of aggressive combat for some time and put on purely defensive and protective measures especially after getting this information about a planet that is being attacks by the Separatists." Kup explained as all quieted down, "The Republic needs the fuel that this planet provides to power their ships, if not then they would be forced to not be as proactive in the war as their enemies, especially as the Decepticons are aiding them on their offensive."
He then spoke in Cybertronian, "{We also do not need them to take Energon and experiment how to make their engines work with it. Especially since it's being used for more than just weapons and personal repairs.}"
He then switched back to Galactic Basic as he spoke, "Perceptor has told us that Chancellor Palpatine has requested the aid of a few of our scientists, himself included, to help them create a weapon with the scientist, Dr. Sionver Boll leading the team… a sort of giant EMP-bomb that will cause a great blast of electrified energy that should cause the deactivation of all the droids while also sending the Decepticons into stasis-lock."
This caught some of the bot's surprise. While Kup added, "Going over the plans allowed me to confirm that our forces will be out of the range of the blast while keeping an optic on things. But before the weapon's deployment it means a lot of our allies in the infantry are going to be killed in the battle… We also have no idea about the effects of the weapon on the planet because of the natives using the core of their planet to make their fuel."
The three accused looked and Ironhide asked, "What planet are we going to?"
"Malastare, homeworld of the Dug species." Kup answered, "General Windu was there with the 91st Corps and the 501st under General Skywalker to aid the Dugs in the battles on the planet. That is until they plan to unleash this doomsday bomb. We don't know what it'll do to the Decepticons, but from what the doctor can tell us, it won't just put them in stasis-lock, they'll feel the pain, and it won't be pretty…"
Hearing that the bots all were silent as the three bots left to go about their duties to end this war. Kup watched them go as he recited softly, "Till all are one."
(Like I said, sorry if it wasn't how you all thought... Really never saw or read how an inquiry scene go down completely... So I gave it the best I could and got the end result I was looking for. For those of you who are reading this story for the first time I hope you get the chance to see how the other stories I have made are, who knows you might like one of them.
-clears throat- Anyway...
What will happen on Malastare now that Autobot Scientist Perceptor had a hand in creating the Electro-Proton Bomb? Is the energon situation in the Galaxy that desperate to begin with for the Autobots?
