LEARNED IT FROM A MANGA

Disclaimer: Don't own Naruto or any other series mentioned here.

Age: Rookies: 8-9, Team Gai: 9-10

Couples: Main: NaruSaku, SasuHina, ShikaIno, NejiTen non-negotiable, and this well not be a harem fic. The rest, JiraTsun, ItacShizune, anything else, still willing to take suggestions on.

Here is a current list of who learns what from what manga, comic or anything else that can be useful, while also can be translated from one era to another. Open to change until chapter 12.

Naruto-Dragonball series

Sasuke-Dragonball series

Neji-Dragonball series

Sakura- Avatar: The Last Airbender

Ino- Avatar: The Last Airbender

Hinata- Avatar: The Last Airbender

Shikamaru- Blue Dragon

Choji- Toriko

Kiba-Inuyasha

Shino- Kamen Rider

Lee- One-Punch Man

Tenten- Bleach

While some of them are set, but Shikamaru and Shino, they are still changeable. If anybody still wants to have Shino learn from Inuyasha, mainly take something from Naraku, well in a way, he already has since their' both walking hives, but I well change it to that, the main difference being that the big bugs well be his summons. Shikamaru, well, when it comes to his shadow, still trying to figure out what the best solution is when it comes to manga, and wither or not he should give his shadow a consciousness or find other ways to use it. Any suggestions would be taken, as long as you don't sound too pushy. And even though with Ami, I plan to make her a civilian, since I'm not too willing to make up a team she well be on, but I do plan to have her start a path towards becoming a baker, after reading a manga, so does anybody know any that uses baking, or at least sweets, as its main theme? Doesn't have to have any adventure, more like a drama/comedy kind of deal.

Also, curious, aside from the twelve listed, would you like some of the adults to be reading the manga? Like, to put it simply, decide which ones would follow their students example and learn something from them, although Guy would automatically fit this category, or somebody who reads them just for fun, which I plan to make Kurenai part of, or somebody who thinks they are a waste of time, but turns out to be a guilty pleasure that they don't want people to find out about, which I plan for Iruka. Basically, and chances are, you would have to reread the whole fic, but which manga do you picture matching which person, especially if say, turns out, while it looks like he is an Icha-Icha fan, yet turns out, underneath the cover, he is reading something else, he just like to annoy people.

Anyway, this chapter continues from the last one, and might have a bit of a fight scene, but at the same time, might show some more strife within the village. Not entirely sure, chances are, with this chapter, I'm just winging it.

Now, on with the story.

Academy-After the last class

Naruto is at the academy, talking to Kakashi who decided to pick him up and catch up on everything, while ignoring the hateful glares he was getting from the villagers, to where most haven't caught on that what they're doing is pointless, while the rest caught on, and their glares intensified because of their bruised ego over that fact

While Naruto, along with Sakura, Lee, and Choji, are talking with their families, when a trio of kids, the leader of the group, a blonde with a cocky smile that said bow down world, (Mainly, FF8 Seifer, but more like how he looks on KHII) walked out the door, and looked around, looking for a target, He then noticed Naruto and walked up to him, even though Naruto never seemed to bother looking at his direction. When he came in close, "Hey you!" When he got everybody else's attention, except for Naruto, who was still talking to Kakashi. "Just because you were trained by a Kage, have Sannin for godparents, does not make you better than anybody in this academy, especially me.!"

While a good portion of the crowd was cheering at the boy for putting the demon in his place, the rest were feeling angry at this, both Naruto's supporters, and the ones that are neutral towards the whole thing. Cheering on what could possibly be the school bully for talking somebody down. It goes to show how much this village has fallen into a pit of hate and despair.

Naruto looked at the blonde, and what nobody saw coming, "Did you say something?"

This caused the haters to look at him with a mixture of hate and shock, because this boy had the gall to act like he was just noticing somebody else talking to him. He is definitely going to get his real soon.

Those neutral, well, in some ways, some didn't really care about the sides involving Naruto, just wanted to see how this pans out. The rest were in a transition from haters to supporters of Naruto, mainly those who seen for themselves that what they were doing was hypocrisy at it's worse, but reformed when said boy helped their kids get through the academy. They just shook their heads, because the people they used to be closed to, don't realize the dangers of what they are doing when it comes to supporting the school bully.

While Kakashi was the only one beaming because Naruto used his line so well, which was one of the few things that he could hand down to Naruto without getting creamed by Tsunade, a lot of folks resisted the urge to do a face palm. Even though what Naruto did wasn't intentional, they could sense that, unlike Gai, who goes into one of his speeches, this could turn violent really soon.

The blonde, while his two pals took a few steps back knowing what is about to happen, sputtered like crazy, because this lowlife dared to act like he was just noticing him. Without even thinking, the blonde took a hard swing at Naruto, only for a hand to intercept it. Looking to what it was attached to, he noticed Kakashi with a neutral expression on his face. "What are you doing?" He asked, angry that somebody would actually defend somebody he was told he was better than, "Let me go so that I can take care of this fool!"

Kakashi gave him a glare that almost made the blonde mess his shorts, "No, I will not, because as much as I would like to have my young friend mop the floor with you," He said, causing the blonde to feel angry at his bruised ego, "But as I recall, since there is to be no unsanctioned fights on academy grounds at any given time, I refuse to let him get suspended for defending himself."

The blonde was able to rip his hand out of Kakashi's, "What do you mean fight back?" He yelled out, "When I swing, that idiot isn't allowed to fight back; he is just supposed to take it." This caused a good portion of the crowd to start cheering.

"Wrong, Seifer," Naruto countered, "If you take a swing at me, I'll defend myself. You don't get to decide if I get to fight back or not."

"Oh but Naruto, you wouldn't be allowed to fight back." Everyone turned to see Mizuki walking up to them a sinister smirk on his face, "Otherwise, if you do, you will not be allowed to return to the academy at all."

"You are not allowed to decide that Mizuki." Choza said, feeling really disappointed on how far some ninja are willing to go for their own personal vendettas, especially the ones who hate Naruto, "If Naruto does defend himself, then it would be within his right, and if you were to try something, then you would have to deal with Tsunade."

Mizuki was trying hard to keep his composure, if the flexing hand was any indication, especially since he knows that certain individuals are becoming more suspicious of him. "That may be true, Lord Akimichi, but since young Naruto has been doing so well at the academy," he said, trying to keep as much venom from his voice as possible, "Then I believe it wouldn't hurt for him to learn what the real world is like after graduation."

Mebuki, after hearing this, didn't sound too pleased. "And what makes you think Naruto hasn't already experienced what the real world would be like?" She asked.

This was when Kakashi stepped up, "Well, as much as I want to stick around for this argument, I need to take Naruto home since it's my turn to train him." He said, putting his hand on said blonde's shoulders.

This time one of the villagers, who isn't a council member, stepped up, "That thing should not be getting stronger by any means." He said.

"What's wrong with me getting stronger?" Naruto asked, "What are you afraid might happen if I got stronger then you?"

After every hater shooting out their 'reasons' on why they don't want Naruto to be training, there was one thing that was easy to spot, "So none of you have a real reason why you don't want Naruto to get stronger?" Sakura asked, noticing how the answers, while not entirely alike for some, yet are so random, even a child can see that these adults have no real idea behind the reason for their hatred of Naruto.

This was when Kizashi spoke up, "More like they have no real reason to hate him." He said, sounding a bit more wise, "When people stew in their own darkness for too long, they lose perspective on what really matters."

Choza stepped up, "And when somebody holds a grudge when they shouldn't, it becomes like a powder keg, ready to explode and take so many others with it." He said, speaking from experience after seeing some shinobi lose themselves to their own desire for revenge, "Unfortunately, the ones who usually pay for it is the younger generation."

Naruto, not wanting to be there any longer, "Anyway, we better get home now, while there is still daylight." He said, before turning towards Kakashi, "You don't want to risk Tsunade's wrath for making me miss curfew, do you?"

Everybody seen Kakashi become white as a ghost at the thought, before grabbing the blonde and disappearing in a swirl of leaves.

A civilian woman stepped up, this time a council member, "Where do they think they are going?" She yelled out, "We weren't finish talking."

"Actually we were," Choza said, while he and a good portion of the parents still around, decided to head home for the day, "since what you called talking is more along the lines of trying to force your opinions on others."

When it was just the haters left behind, a plan was being formed.

Two weeks later

On the fields of the Academy, an event was going on. While used for physical and jutsu training, along with testing students of what they learned. Yet at the moment, it was used for another function. Ever since the changes that were made about a couple of years ago, the graduation rate jumped s slightly from 33% to 44% and still growing. So now, some of the most promising students well be displaying their skills to a big audience, amongst them being the Fire Daimyo himself, wanting to see how this batch of future graduates well fair in the future.

While there would be an event involving a certain number of students, the biggest event would involve the final one, where two students well be dueling with everything they got, nonlife-threatening of course. The final two being between Naruto and Seifer, although a good portion of those living in the village smell a rat behind this.

The events that went on involved genjutsu, ninjutsu, weapons, just about everything that is to be involved within a ninja's arsenal, with the biggest display coming from the taijutsu section. This involved Sasuke and Neji having a small battle with each other, showing off what they have learned, along with to prove that they can fight without using anything energy related. Even though it ended in a tie, it caused both of them to have a small rivalry to see who would win next time.

Now, with the main event, which has Naruto on one side with a wooden staff at the ready, and Seifer on the other, with a bamboo sword. While this was supposed to be a demonstration, there are those in the crowd hoping Seifer would break Naruto in so many ways.

In the center was Iruka, who people felt would give not only a fair fight, but also do his duty no matter what. Mizuki volunteered, even tried to persuade others, into letting him do it, but with his past history of trying to sabotage Naruto, he was given a big no instead.

Iruka decided to dish out the rules now, "Okay, this is just a demonstration duel, no serious, or near-death, injuries are allowed. You well both be using practice weapons, including wooden kunai shuriken. You are allowed to use jutsu, but no higher than a D-rank." He started to explain, although he pretty much gave Seifer a warning look, after having a few stressful encounters himself, who just blew him off, "Winning is the not the goal, but rather, showing the village what the new changes over years have brought."

Taking a step back, raising a hand to indicate both sides to get ready, "Are both of you ready?" He asked, getting a nod from Naruto, and a cocky grin from Seifer, "Then begin." He said, doing the chop, before getting caught of the crossfire.

Seifer started first by throwing three kunai, that looked a little too shiny. Naruto quickly substituted himself with log, which proved to be a smart thing, since those kunai didn't bounce off the long, they were sticking into it.

Seifer started looking, when he got knocked down onto his back with a fist to the nose. "What the hell, man?" Naruto yelled out, "This is supposed to be a simple demonstration, not a death match!"

Trying for a sucker punch that got dodged, Seifer stood up slowly, still feeling some of the impact from that punch, ""Who cares about the rules?" He yelled out, "The only thing that matters is winning."

While a lot of people in the crowd were cheering at that statement, not caring about the consequences that come with it, there are those, Hiruzen and the Fire Daimyo, among them, who were far from pleased at that response. When the two boys started to fight with their weapons, the sound when they collided sounded off.

After about a couple of minutes of intercepting blows, Naruto decided to change things by striking Seifer's sword hand, causing him to drop it. When everybody heard a loud clang coming from it, while this caused suspicious looks to come from the shinobi/ex-shinobi in the audience, while there are those sweating slightly because they know they are busted. Mizuki, was more worried, since he was given a lot of money to have Naruto as close to death as possible.

When Naruto heard the noise, he looked down to notice that his staff had cuts in them. "Hey, Iruka sensei, what is with the sword?" He yelled out, while looking down further, noticing that his clothes had some cuts in them as well.

Noticing for himself how Naruto looked, and seeing the condition of the training staff, Iruka walked up to the 'bamboo' sword, and picked it up by the handle. Feeling the weight of it, which seemed heavier then what is to be expected. Also feeling what feels like a chakra layer, that can only men just one thing: this sword has a genjutsu seal. With a strong pulse of his own chakra, the genjutsu vanished to reveal a kodachi. Even though it looks just bought, still sharp enough to do some serious. "Seifer, where did you get this sword?" Iruka asked, in a firm tone.

Seifer felt the need to be a stubborn brat, "None of your business, now give me back my sword!" He said, before walking towards Iruka, dumb enough to try and take it out of his hand, only for said individual to raise his free hand, saying otherwise.

"Actually, I will not, student," Iruka said, before an Uchiha cop popped in to grab the sword and vanish in a puff of smoke, "In case nobody told you, what just happen is a serious violation of academy rules, which can get you expelled."

"You can't expel me; I'm the best student here!" Seifer said, his ego getting him into even deeper trouble, "I am untouchable!"

"Would you like to put that theory to the test, Seifer?" Hiruzen said, getting the boy's attention, "How about this, you can continue this duel with Naruto, but neither one of you well be allowed to use weapons from this point on. Everything else would be allowed, except killing blows."

Seifer, while not pleased, decided to go for it, even planned to call Naruto a chicken for not agreeing. But when he seen Naruto handing his stuff to a nearby teacher, he started to grumble when a teacher held out his hand, requiring him to hand over all of his weapons. When both were unarmed, he got into what looks like an improvised stance, "Ready to go down, you loser?" He said, only to get silence in return.

When the two were in position, "Okay, this fight well continue, no weapons of any kind of allowed." Iruka said, before doing the chop once again, "Now begin."

Seifer charged towards Naruto, hoping for an instant win. When he swung his fist hard, he was surprised to see it go right through Naruto, like he was attacking a ghost, before he disappeared. Not knowing that was an afterimage. Looking around, a voice came from behind him.

"Main rule of being a shinobi, never let your enemy get behind you." Naruto said, causing Seifer to look over his shoulder, noticing Naruto was crouched down, with his fingers in a Tora sign, his index fingers extending straight out.

While those in the audience thought Naruto was going to roast the egotistical blondes ass with a fire jutsu at close range, there were those who knew otherwise. Especially three individuals: A ruby eyed woman, a man with a beard and a cigarette in his mouth, and a man who can pass for one of the Beatles, each had a similar thought going through their minds, "Kakashi taught them move?!" The two guys having a really uncomfortable feeling when a memory surfaced, while the woman had a more pissed off look.

"Konoha Secret Technique: A Thousand Years of Death(Not sure if I got the name right)" Naruto said, before sticking two chakra-enhanced fingers into Seifer's butthole, and sending him flying towards the other side of the field, screaming with a really high-pitched voice.

While Hiruzen had a palm on his face, knowing full well the headache that is going to be heading his way, especially having to explain the history behind that move, and the Fire Daimyo having his jaw on the ground, Kakashi was a different story. While on the outside, his eye indicating he was smiling, but on the inside, with the slight sweating, "Tsunade is going to wring my neck after this." Knowing that even though she made an exception when he first used it to expose Jiraiya that lead to a bad beating, this time around, he was going to be getting quite the earful from her, and Shizune, for being a poor role model.

Iruka was no different. The move Naruto did was considered the most questionable technique ever made, mainly where one is supposed to use it. There was a rumor that it was first used on Hiruzen by Mito Uzumaki, who was feeling bored, and when he was dumb enough to try it on her, she knocked him out with a right foot to the groin. But it's just a rumor.

With Naruto's friend, there was mixed feelings. While feeling a bit embarrassed that he would use such a jutsu, yet felt it was past due for Seifer to get some humiliation. They each dealt with him in the past, while his two pals stood to the side, watching him try to start something. Now, they get to see some humility be passed to him, with nobody trying to pull a fast one.

Naruto took another stance, knowing what he did, wouldn't defeat Seifer, and just piss him off to where he would do something reckless. And just as he predicted, after rubbing his sore ass, "I am going to destroy you." He said.

"Then what are you waiting for?" Naruto said, not showing any sign of fear.

Both boys charged at each other, throwing everything they have. While some people might think that they were evenly matched, and the Seifer supporters were cheering him on, telling him to take down the demon. Everybody else knew otherwise, seeing how Naruto is showing complete control over the duel, not just in fighting, but in playing his opponent's emotions against him.

After having enough of making Seifer look like a horse's ass, Naruto found the opening he was looking for, he sent Seifer flying once again, this time, a punch to the chest. "Is that all you got?" Naruto asked, really wanting to drive it home, "You kept saying you're better than all of the losers at the academy, yet you're proving to be the biggest loser of them all."

This did it, "That is it, I'm going to destroy you with the jutsu I've just learned." He said, going through hand seals.

Noticing something off, especially with the number of seals being made, Iruka sensed the amount of chakra he was trying to put out. That was when it clicked on what level this jutsu is on, "Stop, that jutsu well kill you!" He yelled out.

While he hated him, Naruto would never want his opponent die due to sheer stupidity. So he quickly brought his hands together for the attack that would be a big help. Getting the energy he needed to knock this dumbass out, just in time when it looked like Seifer is about to drop dead, he launched the attack, yelling out "Kamehameha!" Releasing a strong energy attack, the Kamehameha Wave hit Seifer straight on, into a nearby tree, knocking him completely.

When everything silent down, the only thing that is going on through a lot of people's minds, especially those close to Naruto, was that his life is going to go through another level of craziness.

Well, here is the latest chapter. Sorry it took so long, life has been hectic, especially with the college courses I have been taking. That, and since I'm taking two writing courses, by the time I'm done doing the writing assignments for them, I'm too tired to write fanfiction. Also sorry for this chapter not being perfect, especially the little fight scene, had no idea how to turn Seifer into a shinobi, even a student. Anyway, Read and Review and have a Happy Halloween.
