Arc 2: Pre-Prillya Premise

I have chosen, HF Shirou, Sakura, Rider, and Illya.

They are around… 35-40 I guess? It's not very important.

Chapter 14 – To Each Their Own/To a Parallel World

Life is fine for the Emiya couple. It has been years now, his decision to abandon his dream, the horrors of the Holy Grail War, saving Sakura, and Illya's sacrifice. Sometimes, he couldn't help but think of the possibilities, the ones that might have been should he have chosen differently.

"Shirou." His lovely wife called out. "Dinner's ready." It was quite long, but Sakura eventually got used to calling him by name instead of senpai.

"Coming." Shirou folded the last shirt as he goes to the dining table.

Sakura is happy. Living in peace in Fuyuki together with her loved ones, there's nothing more she could ask for. Well… there IS one thing she would've want to have, but having it is impossible. After all, both of she and her husband are—

'No, it is useless to dwell on things that can't be.'

"Sakura, here are the potatoes." Rider has come a long way from her former ingredient processing skills. The cut was immaculate, but she still doesn't know how to cook. Mostly because Shirou and Sakura refused to have more people competing for the kitchen.

"Thank you, Rider." Sakura continued cooking dinner.

Rider never changed. Her appearance never grew older, after all, she is a Servant. As long as Sakura was able to supply sufficient Magical Energy, she can stay as long as she wanted in this world. And Sakura has functionally infinite Magical Energy coming from the other side. [1]

"Please prepare the table. I'm going to call Shirou." Saying so, she dumps the utensils in the sink. Removing her apron, she goes to where she knows Shirou is.

"Shirou, dinner's ready." She called out.

"Coming." Her husband replied.

Confirming that she was heard, she returned to the dining room.

Dinner was finished. They were now washing the dishes.

"Sakura, what are your plans today?" Asked Rider.

"Hmmm, let's see…" Sakura thought about it.

She finished her Magecraft practice already. Using weaponized Magical Energy was easy, the only problem she used to have was that she was being swallowed by her dark side whenever she utilizes it. She had already fixed that problem.

Combat experience though, that was something she was lacking. When she should use it, how to use it, reaction time, tactical thinking, and many more. She was still learning even today. It didn't help that her only sparring partners are ridiculous.

Rider is a Heroic Spirit, that was reason enough for her to lose in a friendly spar. As for Shirou, it all comes down to a matter of speed. Whether he could push through her defense or for her to turtle up and wait for him to run out of Magical Energy. Rin refuses to use any of her gems in the matches, stating that she is lacking funds as always, so it was a situation similar to Shirou's.

She could brute force them with her immense reserves, but she wouldn't learn anything from that.

She has settled her duties as the Second Owner of Fuyuki for today and the chores were already done too.

"I don't think there's anything." Sakura finally answers.

"Would you like to go to bed then?" Rider asked with a sultry smile.

"Not today Rider, we have guests remember?" Shirou reminded.

Somehow, during the years, their relationship became like this.

It all started when one day, Rider decided to use her Noble Phantasm, Gorgon Breaker: Dark Temple – Self Seal on the two of them and Shirou turned the tables by [Projecting] the Pouch of Kibisis. [2]

There, Shirou and Sakura were shown the extent of Rider's feelings. How she also loved Shirou but didn't want to do anything that would jeopardize their relationship.

After a few back and forth, Rider and Shirou were surprised that Sakura easily accepted their new relationship. Sakura… also wanted Rider to be happy.

Shirou then understood why they were chosen as Master and Servant by the grail, they truly care for each other.

Since then, Rider sometimes join them during their Magical Energy transfer rituals, which was pretty much all the time. Although with a stable connection between Shirou and Sakura finally being established in their first few years of trying, rather than transferring Magical Energy, they just wanted to do it… a lot.

"Oh, I forgot about them." Rider replied honestly. "It's rare that they actually come here."

"Yes…"

Rin and Luvia's children. They usually come here to escape from their quarrelling mothers and learn a thing or two about fighting from the residents.

"I suppose that we shall have to pass time then."

The three of them sat at the porch, looking up at the stars above.

"All this time, we have been living in peace." Shirou commented. "I'm really surprised that no one went after us."

"Nee-san said that it was because there is no longer anything worth a Magus' attention here." Sakura recalled. "The Matou house already lost everything." She sold everything they owned for Shirou's puppet body. "And nobody knows about Rider or you." They had assumed that Rider already returned to the Throne of Heroes, and Shirou was listed as a casualty of the war. Well, he actually did die, so the report wasn't wrong.

"So all the training we did wasn't needed huh." Shirou observed. "But it was better safe than sorry, so I don't regret it."

"Even if we can't have children, I'm happy." Sakura stated. "I wish that these—"

*Thud*

Something landed in front of them, something that had a LOT of Magical Energy.

"Wait, isn't that—"

A bright kaleidoscope blinded them.

As the light died down, the residents of the Emiya household are no longer of this world.

Rider was surprised, to think that they would be killed by an accidental experiment of the 2nd Magic… Rin's bloodline truly is cursed to have such problems.

It was easy to deduce. The only ones taught by the Wizard Marshall were Rin and Luvia. They then taught it to their children, who were in the Emiya estate at the time of the event. Most likely, seeing that it was about to blow, one of the children threw it out, landing in front of them.

Truly, E-rank luck.

Well… none of them has any regrets, so it was fine for it to end like this.

She felt herself returning to the throne, separating from Shirou and Sakura, their connection keeping them together until now. Their bodies have already disintegrated, and their soul was returning to the root.

Before she returns to the Throne of Heroes, she wanted to accompany them till the very end.

All of a sudden, something crashed into them. They were being pulled in.

It was a chance, Rider thought. Wherever they would end up, she hoped that there would be no problems.

She should've known better, they had E-rank luck after all.

EMIYA, or Archer, was a man on a mission.

He and his partner for this mission, experienced… turbulence for a lack of better words.

Their goal was to establish Novum Chaldea on the parallel world and look out for their Master's family members. For that purpose, they were sent years earlier to prevent any complications and gather power and connections. They were anchored to the Archer and Assassin Class Cards respectively.

Unfortunately though, the current situation seems to have thrown that out of the window. Archer only had one though:

'Master, couldn't you have sent someone with a better luck stat?'

The tainted grail saw a chance.

A pathway to parallel world has opened.

It seems that the others are still disoriented from the 'collision'. Given such an opportunity, the grail poured its near infinite Magical Energy and boosted itself.

It will be the first to land in that world. It will complete its mission, one that was wished for by humanity.

To be born.

Illya was bored. She was happy that she was with her mama here, but there was simply nothing to do.

The other ones in this space didn't even talk to them.

If there was anything positive from this, it was that their ancestor, Justeaze Lizrich von Einzbern was using 3rd Magic on her.

She knew that 3rd Magic used by the Winter Saint took a lot of time, but she was here for at least two decades! And she still isn't finished! [3]

And even if it did get finished, there was literally nothing she could do to get out of here. 3rd Magic doesn't really translate to dimensional travel.

As she was bored out of her mind in her mama's arms, an anomaly occurred.

The grail was moving.

It seems that it has cut them off and heading to an open dimensional portal.

Oh crap! They were being pulled into the root! The grail was the only thing keeping them here, now that it was gone, there was nothing stopping them from passing on.

As she panicked, she felt a connection.

…Was that Rider, Sakura, and her otouto?

Her mama pushed her from behind as she went farther away from Illya. The two of them are being separated once more.

She understood what her mama was trying to say. She will grasp it will all her might, this miracle that appeared in front of her.

She connected herself to the three of them. It was quite easy, Rider was a Servant from their grail war, Sakura was a fellow Lesser Grail, and the bond between her and Shirou was enough.

It seems that they were being towed by those seven… things. Though with her addition, the seven took the lead, with Shirou and his companions being slowed due to her interference.

In a few moments, she should be together with them. She wanted to experience more things and spend more time with the people she loves. Whatever is on the other side, they will face it together.

[2] Fate/Hollow Ataraxia - Rider Eclipse scene, yeah, this actually happened, just that it was only Shirou. Check if you don't believe me. Careful though, it's NSFW.

[3] Fate/stay night: UBW Season 2 DVD Booklet Animation Elements, or so TypeMoonWiki says. There's a translation on Beast's Lair, just find it, the title is The Origins of Einzbern. It is translated by Kotonoha IIRC.

AN:

A short prologue on what's gonna happen. Don't expect the next chapter to be soon though.

I'm sorry that it's not lore friendly. Please just ignore it. And some of the plot holes too.

I did some rolls.

Will Emiya Shirou (Kaleid) have a harem? Yes. Damn, now I have to research side characters…

Will Emiya Kiritsugu have a harem? Yes. Well… it is considered a harem if there are three girls right? I can probably work it out somehow... wait, the only options for his harem are—

If I can't write it though, I'm going to have to scrap this.

I'm open to suggestions and criticisms.
