The door opened up and a couple of young man quietly entered the room. Nica knew who they were. He said, "Gustuf….and?" he noticed young man with light chocolate brown hair and dark blue eyes standing behind the first young man with black hair which was cut very short and green eyes. The first young man was named just plain Gustuf.
"I see you are going to play card!" Gustuf said in a French/Russian tone of voice.
"Yes…" Nica said as he slip opened the box. He had avoided a shower of card from spilling down onto the carpet with his hand.
"Nice catch!" he noticed the cards heaped in Nica's hand.
"Thanks..." Nica said as he threw the deck onto the table. They gracefully arched onto the table, landing on the middle as a sort of long gated fan. Nica had a knack with playing cards and slight of hand tricks. "Omi…you still want to play?"
Omi began to stare at Nagi for a couple of minutes. He tried to remember where he had seen Nagi. He asked out of the blue, "What is your name?"
Nagi tuned to look at Omi before bowing slightly, "Nagi…Nagi Naoe!"
"I'm Omi…Omi Tsukiyono," Omi said. His eyes blinked at the sighbt of an unknown enimy.
"What an instreading name…you have!" Nagi said with not even warver.
"Thanks!" Omi said. He patted over to the table. He reached out to take an unturend card in huis ahdn. He swiftly pulled out the card from the deck. On studying the card facing him, Omi wodnered for a just a spilt scedond to an other world. He remembered a child plkayihng woith a simlar deck of cards. Thenm, the iamge of anoterh past was gone. He flipped the card over to find it was the queen of hearts. Where did he rmember such a past like he hgad see in his mind.
"Where are you from?" Nagi asked. He remained qiuoet in his small talk. He knew there was work tpo be done.
"I thijnk here," Omi shrugged. He knew it sounded like a lame answer, but he had no memory of where he caem from. He had to come ujp wtih answer.
"I was in another part of the city..." Nagi said before Gustaf glared at him. It was like unspoken comand of slievnce. He siaad, "I do appoilized..." then, he nodded his head.
"Think nothing of it," Nica said as he turend ot see Omi still looking at ther card. He asked with a hint of curiousy, "Are you going to turn that over?"
Being caught off guard, Omi blsuehd and gasped, "Yes..." then, he turned it to releieve the Queen of hearts. He uterred rather blankly, "Oh...it's the queen of hearts!"
"That's O.K." Nica said as he wathdced Omi put the card ont he table. Gustuf and Nica spoke in French for a few minutes. He was given increatuoin in givign Omi training. The training had been a little hard on Omi. He was trained in decordiong messages reeived byu instant messaging. Then, next step was hiding messages in a simple compter game. Nica asekd Omi to sit down for alittle while, becuase Omi needed a rest.
"I need to leave in a few minutes..." Gustaf said. He fished out a long chain from hsi jacket pocket. He pulled out a largte and ornate pocket watch. Omn trujnging over to the face, he pushed a button. He said as hte lid flipoped open, "Oh, me...where does the time go!"
"Goes down the rabbit whole, Alcie!" Nica teased. He gavce hsi friend a slide liong glance.
"Don't be so coy with me...little brother!" was Gustuf's remark. It sounded rather harsh.
Omi walked over to an overstuffed chair and plopped down on it. He said, "can we stuill play cards or not?"
"My...dion't we sound jitrtery...don't we!" Nica saiod as he stared at Omi in a surrpseud glance.
"I just like ot get started some tiume in the year!" Omi groaned, folding his arms over his chest, in his hausted of vioces.
"I hatre to be toyed with..." Gustuf hissed with his eyes turniung red.
ghhjj
"OH?" Omi nealry shouted. He was going to be a noisy beast before he leaft.
there had to be a reason for all this strange twist of events. Omi looked at the wall. there was a painting if it was called that, of a night sky. it appeared to all knots and loops of just plain colours in a dark huge. Omi stopped in front of the picture. He hated the mess that stood in front of him.
"What are you looking at?: Gustuf asked with a breathed smile.
"Nothing…" Omi sighed. He wanted to lie his way out of the situation in the room.
Nica looked at Omi. He was going to let Omi have his way. It was a bonus to have such a smart boy in his grasp.
"why are such a pain!" Omi grasped.
Nica made a sweeping arc to grab Omi 's chin. There was a darkened almost angered look on Nica's face. He murmured in a loud and sweet whispered that Omi could be the only one to be hearing it, "there is nothing but, pain in life my dear boy!"
Omi nearly tasted the salty sting of fear welling up in his mouth. It was beyond all scope of sour. This was acid burning on his tongue.
"What was that?" Nica turned his voice a tad higher.
Omi swallowed hard his fear back to his stomach where it lay there mixing inside like the fixing of a highly toxic drink. Then, he manged to say, "Nothing…"
"what?" Nica asked rather slowly. He was switching everything around to make Omi very confused.
"I was hoping to see someone?" he asked.
"You?" Omi asked with an incorrect look on his face. Then, he began to think. "why, I do feel this way?" he thought to himself. Omi was looked at his new champion. it was starting to bug him about the blank spot in his mind
"I have been trying to have you be introduced to the family," he said.
"Why don't you tell me sooner," Omi huffed.
"I had to be careful," he said. he placed a hand up to Omi's neck. it felt cool against Omi's warmth. he could in hail the sweet scent of lilies or roses, Omi couldn't tell.
there was a hint of a smile on Omi's lips. it was a near unconvinced feeling he was starting to fall under.
he was willing to submit the almost toying session of his complaining foreplay. he was lead to a chair. he felt the hand begin to stroke the back of his neck. "No...don't," he gasped, his heart pounding in his ears.
"You belong to me..." he said.
Omi had a series of quick flash back which slammed into his mind's eye. on trying to figure out who were these people who in his flashback, Omi gaped in horror. the pain on his mind drove him to hysteria.
"Omi?" he asked. he helped Omi to sit.
"I want to remember this?" someone said with a smile in Omi's thoughts. It was a man with light brown hair. Who was it.
Omi started to tear up from the pain.
Another person who was smoking turned to smile at Omi in Omi's memory. Why did it hurt so badly. He placed a hand up to his face. He could sense he was no longer in the same room as Nica. He was with his new lover named Gustuf. Everything seemed to be a blurring of the lines between the days where Omi had lost his memory in a very horrible way.
"Omi?" Gustuf asked as he noticed the pain was getting out of hand.
"Mother?" Omi whimperted.
The pain kicked up a few more notices that he expected and Omi placed his hands up to his head. It was too much for him as he cried out in pain. Gustuf wondered if Omi's memories were coming back to him. "Omi?" he gasped as he placed his arms around the young man's frame.
"Why are you doing this to me?" Omi gasped as he tired to look at Gustuf.
"What?" Gustuf said as he looked at Omi for any sign.
Omi felt a break in the pain. he breathed hard, letting his lungs experiencing life giving air. It was like Omi had experienced a little and very bitter taste of a near death experience. He did want to go thought with that for a while. He was still so young and healthy. Yet, why did he have a such a painful flashback. He stared wildly at Gustuf.
"I'm here…" Gustuf said gently He trying to be as human as he possible could. He did have a soft spot for Omi despite being a creature of the night. He looked at Omi with a strong feeling of despair.
"I…will be O.K." Omi swallowed again. His pale skin was nearly drawn up on his face.
"And why did you have this attack?" Gustuf asked with a curious glance on his face.
"It's nothing really," Omi lied and Gustuf knew it.
"You are such a little faker!" Gustuf chided gently. He had wrapped an arm around the young man's shoulders. He knew that Omi was in great pain. He wanted to comfort his new friend. what caused Omi's pained attack. he felt so cold. he knew that his body was drained to the breaking point.
"No…" Omi sighed, turning his face towards the wall. He felt a rise in his cheeks. He knew he needed a good rest.
"And what I had to done the same thing. Hmm?" Gustuf asked. He had to give Omi a little credit for putting up with the attacks. Ever since Omi had came to the attention of Gustuf, he began to have waking dreams.
between breaths, Omi could taste a coppery burn in his mouth. he looked around to see what was really going on. he gasped hard, figuring out why he was feeling the pain in such a over bearing way. the evil was very much keep at bay. he wanted to stayed right where he was at. Omi was just still very much a child. he had been cleansed once again. he felt the power behind the people who had a taken. he had tied to remember his past, yet he had a block in placed in his mind. he had tied to also think of who was behind the block. it was like he was trying reclaim his mind and finding out he was not even allowed to go any further than he was able to go. there was appears to be an unseen lead around his neck. it kept him at his new lover's side at all times, as it seemed to his new lover.
Omi felt himself being lifted up and carried to a sofa which stood in the room. he has been laying on the floor what felt like a millennium. he experienced a slight fever from the pain. it was the outcome of trying to break free of that lead.
he looked up at ceiling for just a second or two. then, he closed his eyes with slight tears in the corners. they began rolling down of cheeks.
Gustuf spoke in such low tones. He smiled at his new lover. He had to be gentle with Omi. Omi was still frail and tender. It was like Omi was still a child in many ways. "I'm sorry…you feel this way!"
Omi felt another emontion , the bitter sting of unless. He tuned his head away from Gustuf.
Gustuf did want another life to slip away from him. he felt like it was his fault with last life. he tried to bring a life across, a young boy just like Omi. Omi was strong, yet he was a strong link to someone in his bloodline.
"Why are you doing this to me?" he asked Omi. the crossing over a hard and difficult road to be on for Omi. it was not like in the movies. they always seem to be glancing everthing in the media. Omi felt like he had been cheated.
the evil was very much keep at bay. he wanted to stayed right where he was at. Omi was just still very much a child. he had been cleansed once again. he felt the power behind the people how had a taken. he had tied to remember his past, yet he had a block in placed in his mind. he had tied to also think of who was behind the block. it was like he was trying reclaim his mind and finding out he was not even allowed to go any further than he was able to go. there was appears to be an unseen lead around his neck. it kept him at his new lover's side at all times, as it seemed to his new lover.

he looked up at ceiling for just a second or two. then, he closed his eyes with slight tears in the corners. they began rolling down of cheeks.
There was so much, Gustuf wanted to say to Omi, yet he knew he was being watched by the elders of the clan.
Omi smiled weakly, "I'm so sorry about me…I'm such a pain!"
Gustuf uttered, feeling like he was being jerked about, "What are you telling me?"
Omi swallowed, trying to keep the bile down a as he looked a little red in the face.
"You need some rest…." Gustuf said.
Omi was not sure how to peg this last statement of Gustuf's. The darkness so sweet, it made Omi wanted to scream. he could feel it all over his body and soul. where did it come from. was there a way to find it. there was a fear, hitting the back of mind of Omi. Why was he fearing this gentle man. he did not have the strength enough to be thinking this fear was real.
Gustuf on the other hand, hoped for Omi's health to come back in some way or form. he was a gentle man in his heart of hearts. to Gustuf, Omi was more
"Why?" Omi was trying to fight the urge fall into the darkness.
"You are just so pure…" Gustuf lied. He knew by just a mere taste of Omi's blood, Gustuf felt everything that had happened to Omi's since he was a child.
Omi being picked up by Gustuf. He said as he felt weary, "That's a lie…"
"It maybe…but you are so precious to me," he said. Gustuf had lowered Omi with the care of a trained nurse. He knew Omi was still a frail child He had to give into what Omi had to do, find Ken and leave. After what was at two centuries of searching for the prefect muse to grow stronger in his immortal life.
Somehow, his thought were read and granted beyond all of the known senses. Gustuf was so incredibly lost and mistrusted on even the basic element of human kindness, it was just a lie to him when he was presented Omi at his doorstep as a sort of prize of being such a great and humble secret to the dark king Angus.
Omi wanted to be warm. His skin felt so cold and still. He hoped Gustuf was going to cover him with a blanket which was draped over the sofa. He looked at the pale skin, piercing black eyes and ageless blond hair. This was a complete opposite of Aya or the other two in the looks department,. He could also sense a hint of a tortured past. He knew about a troubled past as well. He tried to be strong in the whole idea of being a warrior of justice. There was a great deal of blurring of the lines when it dealt with his own childhood.
He felt like he could sleep for a year. He tried to fight the feeling off. There was no use as he struggled. His body was getting use to the sofa.
Gustuf had found a blanket to cover Omi up with. He carefully placed the blanket over the young man's frame. He bent down to the side where Omi"s was facing him. He said, "What is that you want me to get?"
Omi barely opened his eyes when he said, "Nothing. My mind hurts a great deal, but I don't need a thing."
Then, he smiled before falling into a trouble stupor.
Gustuf felt Omi's pain. He was a real gently spirit. He wanted to protect Omi in a way, a father would tried to protect his son. He did not speak for the rest of the night.
Ginji wanted to run away from an unknown force. It had been trying to break through in Ginji's mind. His mind was too important. He had no idea for why. he had slept in a state of complete fear. he wanted to leave the pains of everything behind. he had been drifting back and forth with his dreams. he felt like he was never getting out a nightmare.
He wanted to cry out for Ban. He had missed his best friend for a long time. He needed Ban's calming vibe. He would wondered with a touch of terror that he could chance into the lighting empire in a heart beat. It made he like a frightened little boy at times.
he was a stranger in an even stranger, wild world. this was beyond anything Ginji had faced strange worlds as he was a recover. He knew it was something he was meant to do good for all the wrong his family had committed as a young child. He had wished from time to time to start up again a normal guy,
he had been sleeping some where it was safe and very quiet. He had hoped that he wasn't in the hospital. He had enough of hospital for a while. He felt warm as he stirred a comfortable bedding. He opened one eye to see where he was at. He was surprised to see a room like no other. At first the blackened shadows were just that, blackened shadows. There were normal things like a bed frame and night stand Ginji could see.
A soft sound was coming from the hall. It was like that of a sound signing as it drifted from the hall.
On breathing a mixture of disinfectant and flowers, Ginji tried to sit up. He felt a little weak as he moved in a sitting pose. There was a slither twinge in his shoulder blades. In all the haziness, he wondered where he was.
A young girl entered into the room. She was dressed in a long coloured dress and matching apron. Her red hair was piled high in a soft bun on her head. Her sharp green eyes were a nice touch to her pale, but ruddy skin. She smiled when she spoke, "How is your head?"
Ginji reached up to touch very gently a wide band of gauze. He smiled wearily, "I'm O.K."
"I hope you able to feel like eating a little, " the young red head said as she approached towards the bed. She smiled gently as through she was trying to be a comfort towards Ginji. She did not know who he was.
He blinked back a tear as he asked, "Who are you?"
She said, "I'm Rillia!" her smile seemed to be a great healing balm.
He felt at ease. "That's nice!"
"You want to have a little soup!"
"Yea!" he felt a little touch of hunger. How long did he had slept. Feeling a strange effects of a drug that he had no idea how it got to his system, Ginji wanted to still sleep. He smiled deeply at the young woman who was checking his pulse. He blinked at her. He had wondering fear of he did himself an injury. Yet, where did the injury take place.
There was an image of some person in the back of Ginji's mind. Where was this image from, Ginji's past or present? It was that of man with long spiky black hair. Ginji's memory had tired to focus on this man. There was another image of the same man who the black hair. He had worn sunglasses, almost like granny glasses. The man was pushing them up to get a better view of what he was looking at.
The man was staring right at Ginji as he spoke, "What are you thinking of?"
"What is that man's name?" he asked himself. he could sensed feelings of wonderment. he had no idea who was this man breaking inside of him. The memories of this man was both adventurous and frightening at the same time. He looked Rillia who was now writing down a few notes in a small palm-sized book. She noticed him looking at her. She smiled.
"I'll get you the soup soon!" she said. She looked like a picture from long ago.
He had wondered where she was from. There was a crossed wire in his mind somewhere. He wanted to fix it in order to keep things straight in his mind. It was going to be a difficult task if he was going to do it.
"what are you thinking of?" she asked. She had a feeling he was starting to piece things together from his past. She had to think on how to feed Ginji and not let hurt himself.
"Nothing!" he sighed. He felt like a forced kicked him in the head. He wondered if he was going to be able to get out of bed.
there was a great deal of spirit force inside.
She smiled sadly. He was like reading her mind with a clear and sharp probe. It was going to be a war of nerves and mind probes all with in two persons inner beings. How to do was another question entirety.
The night was growing weak as the day was just starting to edged out. Aya looked out a heavy laced window. He felt like he was the only one who was so lost. He had in a week lost two of his friends. It was like someone was wiping his memories of his past bit by bit. He could hear music placing down a hall. he had been sitting on the window ledge. he heard the wind as it ran through the streets. he wondered if someone was coming for him.
he was right as he heard, "Aya?"
at first he wondered who it was. he slowly turned to look who was calling him. it was brad from Schwartz. the two were now an uncomfortable alliance. It had to be done in such a way, that the Takatori family was kept in the dark about the lighting fast move, ments of Schartz. Aya wanted to conact Preisa about the msising members of Weiss. Yet, he wanted to get the kidnappers before it was tpoo late.
"Yea?" Aya felt sickly cold. He hhad aslso a feeling Yohji was still out of comission. He was toatlly on his own.
"Whatr are you thinking of?" Brad asked. He walked iup tpo wehre Aay was sititng at.
"Everything…I was hoping to see atleast Omi…I have a feeling for a long time he is terrablely lost with his past," Auya siad.
Thje night was starting upo once agaoin. The Tyoko shyline was trying from the lgeaming brightness to a dull grey of never ehnnding blocks.
" I hjave the same feeling for Nagi…at the same time he endeed pu mising as well as Tot from
Schreient!"
"what had ahpped to us?" Aya asked. He was merely walziong in a blurr of feeling and issunes. He was not happy.
"I'm not sure…what we have expirced is far from any thing htat I have seen in my lifetime, which is still short," Brad said as he sat down on the floor. He wanted to get a good look at Ayua. Aya was helpless in a way. He had faced like brad thousands of nihgtmareish sistautins beofre.
"I had a feelgn that Omi and Ken were not meant to go out on this mission. It was far too risky at the time. Yet, tjhey took upon themselves to go out on this mission and hopefully come back!" the words seemed ot be vyer bitter and cold. Aya had never been too expicnt in his feeligns. He had been reamingin calm and cool since his sister's run in with a car.
"hopefully?" Brad was carful. He knew they were uncomforntable alleyies at the time. He wanted to be open to anything that Aya or Yohji ahd to say.
"Are you a little bit cocnered about the others in your group?"
"We are just merre extetnion of Masufimi. We have relaly no say in the matter until the time is right….which at this time, it's not!"
Aya hiffed a little as he turned ot glare slgith at Brad. It was like they were on the same page. They did want to regain the truth they aghd lost so isntlathy in the past few days. Aya had ot think on many days that he had lost Omi and Ken. They could take care of eahc other. Yet, this was now part fo the mssion.
"what will happen if it was just you and myself going it alone…I mean trying to find them?" Brad asjked.
Aay was not so blidn that he did nto put htat statemtn into accout. He had ot give himnself some sort of credit. He siad. "I have been hoping I was going to find Omi and Ken on my own…even wthhouth Yihji's help!"
"that's fasibing!" Brad said. He coluld taste the hurt in Aya's stateion. He wnodnered if Auya was going to be angery at the rest of the wrold or with himslef. There was no tiem for htat. He had think about what could happen at the tiem that was given to them for now.
"What are you aksing?" Aya qiestiuoene.d his eyes narrowed.
"I knew it was soudidmngn like I was bakcing itno a corner with you. Yet, you have soemthign I don't!" Brad sighed. He palce a hand up to his face. He studied his foingers for just a second. He cuodl see a clouded vision of Nagi. It was not all that clear to get a good fix on the young man. Yet, it was the only connection he had to his missing friend. He siad, "you have hope…which I'm sorlyojg lacking of!"
"And you?" aya aksed. He breahtd hard. His ribs ached badly for a strnage reason. It flet like an old wound. He wodnerf he should get out of the sitation before soemthjing else shulod have happened.
"I nothgn realy. You have a sister." Brad forced a smile on bhis lips. He knew he had nothing to start off with.
"I have a sister, yea…and aslo my friendfs that are sort of family," Aay said as a smaile cretp onto hs lips.
"they were thoewn in?"
"Yo ucan that!" Aya nodded.
"My colouages if you can call them, are a sort of nerve bitting famiy. Nagi is still a child, but a very smart and dangours one!"
"that's omi, but omi is very gnetle!"
"I have feeling that both Omi and Nagi are be using for reasons I dpn't know. There is an evil which we can't espsace from."
"Omi and Nagi…have great potential with their skills of cmpmuters. That's what frighgtnes me…I have a…' Aya stopped himself as a strange session cause him to think aoubt what he was ogjng pt stay next.
Fahter abel was still weak from his battles. He was going to be better as he trieud to have some herabel tea. There was soemtihng in the herbal tea which gave him strenght.
Sister Ruth was by his side as he recovered. She took over his job at the Honky tonk. He was happy to just be alive. He ntoiced a stange group of stufents who was now starting to gather up at the enterenace to the limetess fortess. Was just his idea they were just looking for adverture from their dull life of school. Was it sometihing more. He had been at the Honky tonk daily, hipoing to see either ban or Ginji.
He sat at a barstoll near the fornt enterenace. He was quiet and never really got in the way. He wathced as a few people came and went from the bar. Nothing was out of the ordinrany. Paul was ntoicign a string no bodies ordered their daily meals iwht no casue for alarm.
Then, hevn entered the Honky tonk. She mgith have news about ban or genji. She reamined cool as she etnered the bar. She noticed Fahter Abel sititng at last bar stool near the wall. She asked, "What's up Fahter?"
"Nothing…." He said as he placed the tea mug on the bar. He fetl like he wanted to be hiome, to be happy and safe.
"I feel like that myself!" she sighed.
"And what did you hear...any news about Ban or Genji!" Paul asked. He was working behidn the coutner for while. He knew there was any scrap of news apbit the limtresst fortess. He had ties with others in the mirky underpinning of their streets of Tyoko. He had seened too much to even tuyrn any one who eneded up at the limestst fortess.
Hevn shook her head. She glanced aqt her shoes for jkust a seocnd. Then, hse looked up at the back of the bar. Narizo was studing for her exams. She was no logner a bopuncey teenager who wrked part time. She was sad and loney girl who wanted her life back before the change form light into the dakress.
"I just wish and pary we hear they are o.k.!" fhater abel sighe.d
"And whata I could speak of something dark and forbidding!" Paul said. He knew there was a dark cloud flaoting aorund in the underground of Tyoko.
"what?" Fahter abel asked. He was shcoked.
"And about Ban and Genji?" Hevn asked. She knew there was a possible lnik to the underground which had a bloodied trail.
"I'm sure with God's help that you will find them in a matter days!" fhater abel said.
"there was a clue…it sseemed like it would be a dead led!" Paul said. He had a small note book of odds and ends behidn the coutner. When stangers would stop in for a drink, paul would be very careful in his way of keeping records. He would find out what was said and who was there as the customer who drink.
there was a sweet scent of copper in the air, the heat of the night would only matched whit the whiteness of the cold dead moon. the beasts who did shunned the brightness of the sun was coming out of the shadows to play with the frailness of the rest of the world. the night was cold. it seemed like the endless darkness did not have any sort of power t tuned over into the healing daylight.
there had to be an end to this deadly dance. yet who was going to stop it.
the world was torn asunder.
Father Abel sat in the room off to the side of the bar. It seemed all to quiet. Hevn and Paul watched as Father Abel walked over to a table near the enterence way between the bar and the booths. There was a small room that usually Paul used as a storage area. Yet, father Abel had also used for a place of quiet contemplation.
