"I'm coming, Ladybug!" Danny called out.
He saw that pretty, domino-masked face smile.
"Danny Phantom..." She said in a dreamy tone.
Danny swung his fist, sending the akumatized villain flying back.
"Got 'em!" He went proudly.
"Knock him into space! I'm not good enough for it!" Cat Noir shouted.
"You got it!" Danny said as he uppercuts the villain.
As Danny turned around, he had his fists at his hips.
"And that... is that..." He said.
Ladybug's smile grew as she ran to him.
"Oh, Phantom!" She went, stopping in front of him with her hands clasped near her heart. "Seeing you come in and save the day... I think I've fallen in love..."
Danny grinned.
"That so?" He said.
"Well... I concede... you are better for her than me. Just invite me to the wedding..." Cat Noir says gracefully.
Danny and Ladybug stared longingly at each other in the eye. Their heads are getting closer.
"Are we... about to kiss?" Danny asks.
"Yes," Ladybug says.
"Normal kiss or French?" He asks.
"Yes..." She said.
Before their lips could reach.
"AND... GOOD MORNING AMITY PARK!" Cat Noir says as he runs up to the two, making Danny stop from kissing Ladybug, but in a voice that didn't match.
"Huh?" Danny asks.
His eyes opened up.
"What the heck?!" He went as he realized his alarm clock had gone off.
"When it was about to get to the good part!" Danny complained.
"DANNY, GET DRESSED AND COME DOWN HERE! WE ARE GOING TO THE AIRPORT TO PICK UP THE EXCHANGE STUDENT!" Jack bellowed out.
"We're taking care of the exchange student?" Danny questions why isn't Sam's parents not taking care of the exchange student.
Danny didn't think about it long as he washed up, brushed his teeth, and got his clothes on.
Danny headed downstairs and then outside to see that their RV was revved and ready to go. So he went in the back with Jazz, and Jack floored it to get to the airport on time.
"I wonder if that student can teach me some France while there here for a Month," Jazz said.
As they made it to the airport, Jack and Maddie held a sign that said, exchange France student.
Marinette took deep breaths.
"Okay... I can do this... I can do this..." She whispers to herself before her confident face melts. "I can't..." She looks into her bag.
"Tikki... I'm regretting this." She whispers.
"Stay calm, Marinette..." Tikki assures her.
"I'm doing my best. But, oh... I'm going to another country... away from my friends, my family... my... Adrien..." She said, almost like she was going to break down in tears.
"Try to remember, and you're going to make a good impression in America. I'm sure the family you're staying with will be nice." Tikki said.
"I sure hope so. I don't want them to think I'm a clumsy dork..." She whispers back.
Marinette then saw the people that were going to take care of her for the month. She walked over to the people and introduced herself.
"Hello there, my name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and I-I-I hope that you take care of me for this month," Marinette said nervously.
"Hello there, Marinette. My name is Maddie Fenton, and you don't have to be nervous," Maddie said.
"I'm Jack Fenton! It's nice to meet you, Marinette!" Jack said.
"I'm Jazz, and that I hope that I can learn some France from you. I also we can get along with each other," Jazz said. "And this is my brother Danny."
"Uh-Uh-Uh, Hi there," Danny said nervously.
"Hi there, Danny," Marinette said
'Whoa...' Danny thought as he got a good look at this Eurasian girl.
She was very pretty and had a cute smile.
Danny found it endearing.
He's cute... not Adrien cute or this Danny Phantom cute, but still...
Marinette thought to herself.
It was then both teens realized something.
We're going to be living under the same roof?!
Marinette started to panic in her mind of being living with a cute guy for a month. What if she falls in love with him? What is going to happen to Adrien if she falls for a new guy? What is she going to do?
Danny saw that Marinette seemed like she was panicking for some reason, so he reached out to her and touched her shoulder.
"Are you alright, Marinette?" Danny asked his new crush.
"Oh, um, yeah! It might be from the flight I had from here to France," she said, lying to Danny.
She then blushed when noticing that Danny was touching her shoulder.
'He's touching me!' She thought, turning red.
"Well, if you're sure," Danny tells her, pulling his hand away.
Once he did, he walked forward, not seeing that Marinette still had a bright red color to her face.
She shook her face to get rid of the feeling.
"I just met him... so I can't think that..."
Marinette walked a little bit slower to talk to Tikki about her first interaction.
"Something wrong, Tikki?" Marinette whispered.
"Nothing... it's just... something weird." She says.
"Weird? How?"
"Not entirely sure..." She said as her head ducked back down.
As Marinette closed her bag, Tikki pondered.
'That boy... something seems... odd about him.' She thought.
As Marinette entered the RV, Jazz sat next to her.
"So, Marinette? What's Paris like? How's the culture and food there?"
"And... ever met Ladybug?" Danny asks, nervous but excited.
Marinette answered Jazz and Danny's question. However, she did wonder if Danny had a crush on her alter ego, Ladybug, so she had to know.
"So, do you like Ladybug Danny?" She asked nervously.
Danny blushed hard, and his eyes rolled away.
"I mean... she's... kinda cool." He admits.
And that outfit is surprisingly form-fitting... He thought.
"So... umm... have you guys ever seen Danny Phantom?" She asked.
''
"Soon as I find that ectoplasmic pest, I'm fryin' him!" Jack shouted.
"Once a filthy ghost, always a filthy ghost!" Maddie added.
''
"I recommend not asking about him around my parents." Jazz whispered.
"Oh... okay." Marinette went.
Danny was thinking to himself.
"Of course, she's into a superhero." He whispered to himself.
Well, that's the chapter of today. We'll see what happens with Sam next time.
