Protectors of the Realm

in Orchestra Protectors

At the Royal Palace, the Realm Protectors are fixing the palace's ventilation system. Afterall, Arkayna can't do her royal duties when it's hot.

"Thanks for fixing the palace guys." said Arkayna.

"Don't mention it, we're happy to help." Mike said to Arkayna as he twisted a nut.

"So, what's your next royal duty?" Dillon asked.

"Well, I'm hosting a party for Jennifer Starbuck and-,"

"Wait," Mike interrupted. "you mean Jennifer Starbucks. The richest woman in Power City." he said to Arkayna.

"Yeah, why?" Arkayna asked.

"Because she puts different types of music on air for the whole Realm to hear." Sienna explained.

"Really." Arkayna said and the Protectors nodded. "Well, maybe someday she can hear your music." she said and left.

"Imagine that, Jennifer Starbucks, putting our music on air." said Tom.

"Yeah I know," said Mike. "I bet it's gonna be cool." he said as he took out a pipe, but he accidentally hit John when he and the Young Royals were passing through.

"John!" Mike yelled in shock. "I'm so sorry, I was just-,"

"I know, I know. You guys were only trying to fix the palace's ventilations, but the pipe won't connect to the air conditioners. You tech heads!" said John as he finished with an angry glare. "Now get back to work, before I slug you!" he said, as he and the others left.

Later the Protectors finished fixing the first ventilation system, next they have to fix the other ventilation systems. But there is one Protector missing.

"Hey guys!" Zeke caught up to the rest of the Protectors. "Check out what Bobby made?" he said, then he took out something from his bookbag and to their surprise, it's their band symbol.

"Hey, it's our logo." said Mike.

"That is awesome Zeke!" said Dillon, they were amazed until the Young Royals showed up.

"Hey!" John yelled, that's where the Protectors turned and spotted them. "I thought I told you to get back to work!" he yelled, as the Protectors got back to work Mike accidentally hit John with a pipe again, the Protectors noticed it and they ran for their lives, not until the Young Royals started to chase them as their about to beat the Protectors silly.

They went into the weapons room where the Mysticons were, the Protectors avoided getting hit by some pipes that were swung by the Young Royals.

"I'll beat your brains out!" Zachary growled as he jumped to get Dillon, but Dillon dodged him and Zachary hit himself to the wall instead. Then Steven chased Zeke around the table, and Zeke quickly escaped as Steven was too distracted from running.

Gawayne tried to hit Tom with a pipe, but Tom dodged it and he hit a suit of armor instead, which made it fell down to pieces. Then Mike pulled the rope, then a bunch of metal fell down which trapped the Young Royals and the Protectors escaped.

The Protectors went to the throne room to catch their breaths after they've escaped from the Young Royals' wraths.

"Man that was a close one." Mike panted. Then Dillon spotted something on Zeke.

"Hey Zeke, what's that paper on your shirt." Dillon spoked to Zeke, then Zeke looked down and spotted the paper, so he removed it to find out what this paper is.

"It's a music sheet for a song called the voices of spring." Zeke explained.

"The voices of spring?" Sienna questioned.

"Yeah, it's a good song that was made fifty years ago." said Tom. "Y'know it's like a melody for the people of the kingdom." he said.

"Well, then let's play it." said Mike as he took out a flute, then Zeke gave Sienna the sheet and sat down on the piano.

Then Zeke started to play as Sienna waited for the right moment.

Sienna: Oh, song of the nightingale, sweet sound, as yes!

Glowing with love, ah, ah, ah, sounds the song, ah and the sound,

sweet and cozy, seems to carry a plaintive note,

ah, ah rocks the heart to sweet dreams, ah, ah, ah, ah, most gently!

The others listened to Sienna's singing, like she's a siren singing at the ocean, as Zeke continued to play.

Sienna: Longing and desire ah, ah, ah lives in my heart,

ah, if the song anxiously calls for me, from afar the starts to twinkle,

ah, ah in shimmering magic like the moons beam,

ah, ah, ah, ah wavers trough the valley!

Mike couldn't help but blush at Sienna's singing.

Sienna: As haltingly vanishes the night, the lark starts to sing,

ah, the light she promises, shadows recede! Ah!

Then Mike played the flute.

Sienna: Ah springs voices sound like home,

The flute whistled.

Sienna: Ah yes, ah yes oh sweet sound,

The flute continued to whistle.

Sienna: Ah, ah, ah, ah,

Mike matched Sienna's voice with the flute.

Sienna: ah yes.

Then Zeke finished the song with a piano finish.

"Amazing! That was simply beautiful!" they Protectors turned and spotted Jennifer Starbucks. She has long purple hair, wears a black dress, and black heels. "How do you come up with that wonderful song?" asked Jennifer.

"Well, we do practice sometimes. And we even entertain a bunch of kids." Mike explained.

"Oh my, I never realized that you're such nice children." said Jennifer. "I would like you to play at the palace tonight, I can even pay you." she said to the Protectors, which they smiled.

"Sure. We'll be happy to play for you." said Mike.

Later that night, everyone was in the throne room in elegant clothing and are waiting for the performance.

"I don't get it?" asked John. "How did Jennifer Starbucks found an orchestra around Drake City?" he questioned.

"I don't know, maybe she got lucky." said William, then Jennifer appeared.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I would likely to introduce to, the Realm Protectors." said Jennifer, and everyone applauded as the Protectors came much to the Young Royals shock.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen." spoke Mike. "Before we play the The Voices of Spring, we'll like to warm up with our song called Bella Notte." he said and everyone clapped.

So the Protectors took out their instruments and they began to play the song.

Mike: Oh this is the night It's a beautiful night And we call it bella notte

Mike played the mandolin, while Zeke played the accordion.

Mike: Look at the skies They have stars in their eyes

On this lovely bella notte

Everyone was enjoying the song, but the Young Royals were not impressed.

Mike: Side by side with your loved one

You'll find enchantment here The night will weave its magic spell

When the one you love is near

Boys: For this is the night

And the heavens are right On this lovely bella notte

Then it was Sienna's turn to sing the part.

Protectors: This is the night It's a beautiful night And we call it bella notte

Look at the skies They have stars in their eyes

On this lovely belle notte

The Protectors sang until John spotted the buffet table, so he got the others attention which made them smirk. So John took out a grape and carefully aimed it at the Protectors.

Protectors: Side by side with your loved one

You'll find enchantment here The night will weave its magic spell

When the one you love is near

Then John threw the grape and it went straight into Mike's mouth, which causes the Protectors to stop.

"Oh my what happened?" Jennifer asked in a worried tone.

"Someone threw a grape at me." explained Mike. "But don't worry, we're still gonna sing The Voices of Spring after our break." he said.

Later, the Protectors are freshening up after they're break, so they want to make sure that they're well dressed for the performance.

"OK Jennifer, we're ready to sing." Mike told Jennifer.

"If you can if they know who you really are," John smirked, and so did the Young Royals.

The Protectors Mike and Zeke prepared their instruments, and Sienna adjusted herself. Then Zeke played the piano.

Sienna: Oh, the song of the nightingale, sweet sound, as yes!

Glowing with love, ah, ah, ah, sounds the song, ah and the sound,

sweet and cozy, seems to carry a plaintive note,

ah, ah rocks the heart to sweet dreams, ah, ah, ah, ah, most gently!

The audience started to love Sienna's singing.

Sienna: Longing and desire ah, ah, ah, lives in my heart,

ah, if the song anxiously calls for me, from afar the starts to twinkle,

ah, ah in shimmering magic like the moons beam,

ah, ah, ah, ah wavers trough the valley!

Then John took out a banana and aimed it at Sienna.

Sienna: As haltingly vanishes the night, the lark starts to sing,

ah, the light she promises, shadows recede! Ah!

Then Mike played the flute.

Sienna: Ah spring voices sound like home,

Mike blew the flute.

Sienna: Ah yes, ah yes oh sweet sound,

Mike continued to blow the flute.

Sienna: Ah, ah, ah, ah,

The whistle matched Sienna's voice.

Sienna: ah yes.

As Sienna did her final note, John threw the battle at her, but Dillon caught it as Zeke did his final piano tunes. And everyone applauded.

"Hmm, a flying banana." said Dillon and he ate the banana.

"That was a wonderful song." said Jennifer. But the Young Royals ran towards her in anger.

"What! Are you kidding me, don't you see those guys are trying to rob you!" John angrily explained.

"Now, how could you say that to an amazing orchestra." Jennifer slightly scolded.

"Orchestra!" John yelled in fury. "They're not an orchestra, they're a garage band!" he said and he ripped Mike's suit, revealing his band shirt.

"A garage band!?" Jennifer said in shock, and so are the audience. "Why didn't you tell me?" he asked the Protectors.

"You didn't ask, and besides we do play different types of music." Mike said to Jennifer.

"Well, if you play different types of music, then I'll allow it." Jennifer smiled.

"What!" John said in shock and so are the Young Royals. "You're not gonna press charges on them for pretending to be an orchestra." he said to Jennifer.

"Of course not, I would never harm these excellent kids. And if you don't mind, I do love dixieland music." she said.

"Alright, we'll play dixieland." said Mike as he and the Protectors took out their instruments.

"Oh, no!" said John as he and the others ganged up on them. "You're not playing any dixieland music, I'll give you three to hand over those instruments. One. Two-,"

"Hit it!" Mike called, and they began to play dixieland, and the loud noise causes the Young Royals to shake, while everyone started to dance at the music.
