Protectors of the Realm
in Royal Hunters
At the Protectors' castle, Zeke brought the popcorn to the throne room, and Mike turned on the glyph.
"Ha, now it's time for Knights of the Living Dead!" Zeke said in excitement.
"Yeah, I can't wait." Mike agreed. Just when the movie started, it was interrupted by the Drake City News.
"We interrupt this program for a special news bulletin." said Serena.
"Oh, come on!" Dillon groaned, and so did the rest of the Protectors.
"I'm here at the Royal Palace to discuss the Young Royals new business." said Serena, and the camera turned to show the Young Royals and to the Protectors' surprise, it's the bounty hunters that the Protectors fought. "John, I'd like to ask, why hire every bounty hunter?" she asked John.
"Because Serena, Royal Hunters is a new line of defense for the Realm." John explained. "You see we hire every bounty hunter to defeat King Brax, even those Protector outlaws." he said.
"Man, this is definitely not good guys," said Mike in worry.
"Yeah." Tom agreed. "With every bounty hunter together, we won't stand a chance." he said.
"Well let's find out, what their next move is." Mike said to the rest.
Later at the Royal Palace, the bounty hunters were enjoying their new jobs, but the Mysticons were annoyed by it.
"Gawayne! The Royal Palace isn't a company!" Arkayna complained.
"Hey, take it easy step sis. It's just a business, we're giving those guys access to weaponry, no big deal." said Gawayne.
But what Gawayne didn't know, is that the Protectors sneaked into the palace. They avoided the bounty hunters and they went into the surveillance room.
"Whoa, check it out." spoked Tom.
The Protectors spotted the palaces' weaponry signature is rising, like it's getting a lot of power.
"We better give this to Bobby an analyze it." said Mike and he put a data chip into a plug. Then it started to download the information, and then it finished. "Got it, let's go." he said, but they were all wrapped up by a lasso by Lace.
"Got ya Protectors dudes." Lace smirked.
"Sorry dude, but we've been practicing." said Sienna and she cut the lasso with her sword, and they got out of the surveillance room. But not before facing Magno.
So they ran toward him, Zeke grabbed Magno and tossed him to Lace, and they escaped to the throne room.
"Hey, it's the Protectors!" yelled Bob, and the rest of the bounty hunters started to attack. But the Protectors avoided the combined attacks.
Josh jumped up and took out his katana, but Mike blocked it and they began to clash swords together. Suddenly, Luke sneaked behind him and just as he was about to attack the distracted Mike, Zeke kicked him.
Then Jeremy took out his blaster and began firing at Dillon, but he spin his sword in a complete circle which easily deflected the lasers quickly, then Lace took out his lasso and threw it and it caught Dillon's legs. So Lace pulled the lasso which made Dillon trip, then Nathan went toward Dillon but, Tom rammed him to the ground.
With out wasting time, Sienna created a huge gust of wind which launched the bounty hunters to the ground, and the Protectors made their escape leaving the Young Royals angry.
Later, the Protectors gave the data chip to Bobby and began to search for the data on it.
"So, any clue about what's going on at the palace?" Mike asked Bobby.
"Oh, I know!" Dillon said. "Maybe their adding their weapons to the palace's defense programs." he suggested, which gave the rest of the Protectors deadpanned looks.
"Really, that's your solution." said Tom in annoyance.
"Actually, Dillon almost got it right." spoked Bobby. "Those bounty hunters are powering up the weapons of the palace." he said, and then the glyph shows the palace with a warning sign on it.
"But the extra boosts are making the defense systems unstable, and once they continue to power it up. Boom goes the palace." Bobby finished, leaving the Protectors in shock.
"Aw man, than that'll be the end of the Mysticons." said Mike.
"And the Realm." said Zeke.
Later, the Protectors made a choice. They decided to turn themselves in so they can stabilize the palace, they went into the throne room where the bounty hunters were waiting form. And then the Protectors raised their arms, much to the bounty hunters' confusion.
"We surrender." said Mike, as the Young Royals appeared.
"Well how do you like that, the Protectors of the Realm decided to give up for being hunted." John mocked. "So any last requests before you spend the rest of your lives in the dungeon?' he asked.
"No. Just this," said Mike, and the Protectors took out their swords and conjured up magic which knocked the bounty hunters down to the ground.
Magno took out his watch to hypnotize one of the Protectors, but Zeke conjured a lasso and zapped Magno with it. And then Tom manipulated some nearby plants and they began to pound Jeremy.
"Come on! Hit'em! Knock their teeth out!" Steven cheered like he's in some kind of game.
Then Mike blasted Nathan up in the air, and he jumped up and punched Nathan back to the ground.
"You ninny-hammer! What are you doing!" Gawayne yelled at Nathan.
"Yeah," John agreed. "what do we pay you for?" he said.
"Pay!" said Nathan in surprise. Then the bounty hunters stopped fighting when they heard the word pay.
"What about our pay?" Bob angrily demanded. And the Young Royals are started to get nervous.
"Uh, well, you see... Butler!" John grabbed Butler. "What do you say to Royal Hunters?" he said.
"It's a non-profit organization sir." Butler answered.
"Yeah, it's a-non-profit!" John yelled in shock.
"What!?" the Young Royals saw that the bounty hunters are really angry. "You hired us so you can keep the profits to yourselves!" Nathan said as he and the rest of the bounty hunters walked toward them.
"Wait! What about the Protectors' bounty, that's profitable." John said nervously. But the bounty hunters aren't gonna buy that as they started to gang up on them.
"Hold it! Don't hurt them." said Mike and the Young Royals smiled in relief. "Use your fists, it's quite humane." he explained it to the bounty hunters. Which shocked the Young Royals.
So the bounty hunters smirked and dropped their weapons, while everyone is distracted the Protectors left the throne room as the bounty hunters are giving the Young Royals a pounding, and their screams of pain can be heard.
The Protectors made it to the palace's generator with warning glyphs all over, and the count down is five seconds left. So the Protectors conjured an ice blast in order to stop the meltdown. Then, the generator became stable, then Mike walked towards the generator and took out a power core that belonged to one of the bounty hunters with a sigh of relief.
The Mysticons went back to the throne room and to their surprise, the Young Royals are lying on the ground groaning in pain caused by the bounty hunters.
"What happened to you guys?" Zarya asked.
"The bounty hunters quit, because they found out that Royal Hunters is a non-profit organization." explained John.
"Well, what do you think those creeps joined anyway. They're only here for the gold." Arkayna replied.
Later, the Protectors rode back home on their hoverbikes.
"Maybe next time, they'll make a profit organization." Dillon smirked.
"Yeah, and those bounty hunters. Man they hired a lot." said Zeke. "Maybe they really hate us." he said.
"I don't know Zeke." Mike said unassured. "Maybe it's, something else." he said.
