A/N: Hey guys thanks for the reviews and input. Sorry it's taking so long for me to come out with chapters. I've said it before and I'll say it again, writers block is a pain in the butt. As is work and just life in general, haha. Anyways, now I'm trying to get back on the horse with all of this, and I'll try to get a new chapter out once a week. In this chapter I aimed it primarily on Jen and Pete's relationship because it's taking me some time to come up with other threads to the story. This is a bit of a raunchy chapter well deserving of the mature rating of the story so be advised. Enjoy!

Chapter Five: Looking Back and Moving Forward

Flashback-Four Years Ago-Avengers Mansion, New York City

In the life of Peter Benjamin Parker, there have been moments of extreme ups and extreme downs. Today was most definitely an extreme up. After he all, he was selected to be a part of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers. There he was surrounded by numerous heroes who were in favor of him being a part of the team. Never in his life did he dream that he would be shaking hands with the likes of Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor. in the Assembly Hall. He knew that his days of playing lone wolf were over and he really needed to step up his game and be the team player the lot of them expected him to be. Good thing he acted on the instinct that this team should be able to trust him... thus revealing his identity to them. After telling the team about his life, a great many of them had a far different perspective of him than some of them originally had.

"I'm telling you, Cap. With the right guidance and training this kid is gonna be one of the greats," Iron Man spoke to the Star-Spangled Sentinel.

"He's got a lot to learn, but yeah. You couldn't be more right, Tony." Cap walked up to the Wall-Crawler and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Peter, to go through what you went through for all these years isn't easy. Especially for one who started out so young. But you've got heart and a good head on your shoulders. You'll make a fine addition to the team. Welcome to the Avengers, Spider-Man."

Across the room leaning against a wall, arms crossed against her chest, She-Hulk stood there stunned at the reveal of Spider-Man. She was still trying to process everything that he told the team about his origins. To be start out the way he had... Jen doubted that she would have had the mental fortitude to keep going if something of that nature happened to her at that age.

A small speck whizzed past her, but the speck immediately enlarged to the form of Janet Van Dyne aka the Wasp and wife to Henry Pym aka Ant Man. She stood next to Jen and leaned on the wall right next to her. "It's moments like these where the whole judging a book by its cover analogy really comes into play, don't you think? All these years we thought he was so childish, but in reality, he really was just a kid. A good-hearted brilliant kid, but still," Wasp said.

"Fifteen years old, Jan. At fifteen he gained superpowers, lost his uncle, and took up the role of a crimefighter while at the same time going to school and pulling his weight at home by getting a job as a web-designer for the Bugle. If half that stuff happened to me at that age, I honestly don't know how I would keep going I've only had my powers for a few years, but him? He's lived a good chunk of his young life with em," she sighed. Her perspective of Peter most definitely changed. Taking a step as big as this, unmasking himself, and telling them who he was before the team took guts. Maybe it was guilt at perceiving him as some reckless thrill seeker or something else entirely, but Jen wanted to make up for her misconception of Peter. She waved Cap over to them so she could have a discussion with him.

"Hey, Steve. Remember that recon job you have me running on the Maggia weapon sale in a few days. Why don't you let ol' webhead tag along with me. It'll be good field work for a rookie Avenger."

Cap raised an eyebrow at her and smirked, "Sure you can handle him without putting him through a wall?"

Jen chuckled, "Oh I think it'll be fine. If not, I'll clean up whatever mess I make when I squash him."

"Ok, if you insist. Spider-Man!" Cap called out. Peter's head snapped to attention from the conversation he was having with Stark about incorporating nanotech into his armor for self-repair functions.

"Yes?" Peter asked racing over to Cap, Jen, and Jan.

"Three days from now, the Maggia are going to be bringing new lethal ordinance into the city. You and She-Hulk will be running recon to identify those involved. She's the primary on this so follow her lead, understood?" Cap said sternly.

Peter looked past Cap to see the statuesque emerald beauty smirk at him. Sure, Peter's teamed up with She-Hulk for a few solo adventures, yet during those times he might have well... annoyed the living hell out of her. Jen's words not his. He only yammered like an idiot because he was instantly smitten with Jen since he first met her. Call it a schoolboy crush. He shook himself out of his walk down memory lane and brought himself back to the present. "Uh, yeah, yeah! Sounds like party, haha."

"Every mission with me is a party, Web-head," Jen chuckled.

"Alright then. Jen you're in charge of him for the time being. Get him prepped and get some training time in," Cap spoke as he walked away.

"Got it, Cap. Ok, Spidey! Looks like you're all mine. Now let's hit the gym. It's time to see what you're really made of."

Pete folded his hands and bowed his head, "Yes, sensei."

Jen rolled her eyes and chuckled, "And who knows? Maybe you'll learn a thing or two. Especially when it comes to making wisecracks that are actually funny."

Pete followed Jen out of the Assembly Hall, "Shulkie, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Present day-Forest Hills, Queens-New York

Peter sat at the dining room table patiently as Aunt May fixed him a cup of coffee. Being back home makes Peter feel just like a teenager again. Especially when it came to problems presented to his life, and that was before the spider came along and bit him. Then things got crazy, and he had to hide things from his aunt to keep her safe. But before he left for college, she revealed to him that she knew the truth that he was Spider-Man. It was the night Gwen died that everything clicked into place. She never berated him. Judged him. She was immensely proud as well as scared for her nephew. But she knew that he could do things that nobody else could do and he acted on her late husband's code of life, 'With great power comes a greater responsibility.' Peter was glad the days of keeping secrets from her are over, especially now that he has romantic feelings towards Jen.

"Here you go, sweetheart," Aunt May said placing a mug of black coffee in front of him. Peter looked up at her with kind eyes, "Thanks Aunt May." She sat down next to him and patted his hand. "Now tell me, Peter, what is it that you're afraid of?"

Peter wrapped his hands around the warm mug and looked at the black liquid and sighed. "The night Gwen died; we both know something inside me changed. It was the first real time my actions being Spider-Man led to someone I loved with all my heart being killed. Now I'm thinking is it really worth falling in love again? How many more have to pay for the life I choose to live-"

"You stop right there, Peter Parker," May said sternly. Peter looked up to see the fire in his aunt's eyes. It was a rarity whenever he saw his aunt angry, this was one of those times.

"You did not kill Gwen Stacy. That lunatic Osborn took her life. That's what those monsters do. They take from those who have so much love, so much goodness, and hope in them. All because they are filled with so much hate for the world and even themselves."

Peter looked back down at his drink and closed his eyes. A tear trickled down his cheek and dropped into the mug. May reached over and held Peter's hand. "You are not responsible for the actions of monsters, Peter. You are responsible for your actions and your actions alone. I know if Ben were here now, he would be over the moon with how much good you've done in this world. With what you've done as both Peter Parker and Spider-Man. I know I am."

He looked at his aunt, more and more tears running from his eyes. "But he would also tell you that with such responsibility doesn't mean you can't stop living your life."

He sniffled a bit and a small smile formed on his face, "Did anybody tell you have quite the way with words, Aunt May? I'm pretty sure Jen would say the same thing."

His Aunt quirked an eyebrow at him and smirked, "Jen? As in Jennifer Walters, the She-Hulk? Oh, my goodness!"

"Please tell me you're not going to give me she's too old for me speech."

"Absolutely not!" she laughed. "I always knew there was some chemistry between the two of you. Every time you spoke about her or when I saw you in the papers or on the news with her, there was this electricity in the air. Who knew my nephew could score with She-Hulk, ha-ha! Way to go kiddo!"

Peter just buried his face in his hand with his face turning a whole new shade of red.

Four Years Ago-Avengers Mansion-Manhattan, New York

In the middle of the training room, Spider-Man and She-Hulk were squared off in the practice ring with Captain America and Black Widow observing the match.

"Jen's not giving the kid too hard a time, is she?" Cap asked.

"Believe it or not, he's the one getting the better of her," Nat answered in her thick Russian accent.

WHAM!

"HOLD STILL AND LET ME SMASH YOU!"

"Not gonna happen Shulkie! Smash, smash, smash as hard as you can! You can't smash me! I am the Spider-Man!" Pete sang off-key as he leapt and dodged every one of her attacks.

"Ok, got her peeved enough, I think. Now she won't see this coming!" Pete jumped over Jen, webbing her back, pulling her into mid-air, landing a solid kick right on her butt and sending her flying out of the ring right past Steve and Natasha. Steve just looked dumbfound at what had just happened.

"Did he just-"

"Yes, Cap. The kid kicked She-Hulk's butt. Literally," Widow snickered.

Jen rose to her feet and dusted herself off. "How the hell did that happen? " Jen thought to herself. Then off to the right of her, Jen saw that Spider-Man was hanging down from a web he had spun from the ceiling.

"So, any pointers? I feel like my reaction time could've been better. It might be nerves after all cause you know, I'm sparring with THE SHE-HULK!" Pete said excitedly.

Jen could see that his display of combat skill wasn't him trying to one-up her, but to make a good impression. "Not bad, small fry. Not bad at all," Jen flashed a smile his way. "I can finally see why you're such an annoying chatterbox in your fights. You get your enemies agitated, then they slip up, and that's when you make your move. Nice play on psychological warfare."

"Yeah, well it also helps when most of your adversaries don't have much a brain or common sense. I mean you met Rhino and Scorpion, right?!"

"I know right! Can you believe that Gargan actually asked me out after I handed him over to the cops one time?"

"Yeah, definitely not the brightest bulb in the bo-"

"AHEM!" Both Jen and Peter looked back towards Steve and Natasha staring the both of them down.

"I'd hate to break up this conversation, but Jen don't you think you should be drilling him some more."

"Since he's the guy, shouldn't he be doing the drilling?" Jen chuckled, "What do ya say web-head? You wanna drill me? You wanna drill me hard?" Jen said in a mock seductive voice. It was moments like this Peter was thankful for wearing a mask just so that no one could see him blush

Cap rubbed his brow in annoyance. "You two. Ring. Now." It was then that they realized that the time for jokes was over.

"Yeah, let's not piss of a WWII super soldier who could probably kick both our asses, Shulkie."

"Agreed." Both Jen and Peter stepped back inside the ring and took their positions.

"You wanna ring the bell, Apollo?" Peter asked in his worst Rocky impression.

Jen let out a loud laugh, "Ding Ding."

Peter's Apartment-Manhattan, New York

Seven o'clock finally came and for the first time in all her time being She-Hulk, Jen was nervous. She stood in front of the building that was a stellar improvement from the hovel that Peter had been living during his time working for Jameson.

"Way to step it up, Pete," Jen smiled. She looked down at her attire to be sure that she was presentable for tonight. She dressed to the nines in a large dark purple overcoat, a sleeveless white blouse, dark purple leggings, heeled black sandals, golden hoop earrings, bracelets and a large golden chain necklace as well as a small heart shaped locket. Tonight was the night that would determine what path Peter and Jen would be on for the rest of their lives. Either friends who had one brief passionate encounter or two lovers looking towards a future full of possibilities.

Jen took a deep breath and regained that billion-dollar composure and confidence that made men want her and women want to be her. She strode up through the building, each of the tenants gawking at her in amazement. On the sixth floor of the building, Jen finally made it to Peter's apartment. She knocked a few times and heard a muffled "Be there in a sec!"

Peter quickly rushed to the door and opened it to see Jen looking spectacular. "Hey, Jen! Wow, you look great!"

"You're not too shabby yourself, Pete," she said remarking the blue plaid shirt and khakis he was wearing. Peter and Jen just stood there grinning at each other for half a minute broke the goofy awkward moment. "So, you gonna invite me in or take up room in your doorway for the night."

"Oh, yeah! Please come in!" Peter said excitedly. "Can I take your coat?"

"Please and thank you," she grinned. Jen looked around Peter's apartment and was stunned at the emmaculate shape of the place. "Nice place, Pete. Very Nice."

"Yeah, Horizon pays well. Also, Tony sort of threw in the super-reinforced furniture and amenities as a house-warming present. It may have also been considered an apology gift for that time his prototype armor went off the rails and tried to incinerate me," Pete laughed nervously.

"Yeah, that's definitely a way to get early Christmas gifts from Ol' moneybags."

"So," Peter clapped his hands together, "you hungry?"

"Famished," Jen smiled.

Peter pulled out a chair for her at the kitchen island and pulled out a bottle of wine and a couple of glasses. Peter than set some light R&B music while he worked finishing the dishes he prepared for Jen and himself. She-Hulk couldn't help but gaze warmly at him.

"Hmmm. Wine? Dinner? Soft, rhythmic music? This is starting to feel an awful lot like a date if you don't mind my saying, Peter."

Peter smiled back, "Would it be so bad if it was?"

"Absolutely not," she winked.

The two enjoyed a simple, yet very tasty dish of Chicken Parmesan and Rigatoni pasta. They laughed and joked about anything and everything from their lives. In each of their minds, it was like the night the first went out together.

"HA! I still can't believe you put the moves on Ben Grimm of all people!"

"Hey, you got to give the guy some credit! He's does have those gorgeous baby blues!" Jen laughed.

"Ok you got me there. But he cannot pull off the puppy dog look more than yours truly!"

"Agreed," Jen chuckled. She reached over across the table and put her large hand over Peters, tracing the veins and bones in his hand with her thumb. Peter looked down at Jen's hand and looked up and smiled at her, as she was doing the same.

"So... that talk the other night..." Peter began.

"Yeah?" Jen asked.

Peter took a deep breath, "Jen, you know the kind of things I had to face in my life. First with my uncle and then with Gwen.."

"Oh Peter," Jen thought.

"Ever since then I always felt the need to be responsible for the safety of innocent people, my family, my friends. Two of the things I have done wrong in all that time has been taking on the blame which rightfully belong onto the people who cause all these horrific things, and the other... has been being less responsible for my own life. I'm tired of not having the life that I want for myself. A happy one. And Jen... you make me insanely happy."

Jen couldn't hold back the tears. She dabbed at her eyes with the napkin in front her. "You really know what to say to a girl, ya know that?"

Peter shrugged, "It's a gift. So... would you still like to date a schlub like me?"

Jen leaned over the table, cupped Peter's cheek, and planted a big wet kiss on his lips. "How's that for an answer, Web-head?"

"So that's a maybe?"

Jen just chuckled and gave him another kiss. Once the kiss ended, Jen sat back down and the two smiled warmly at each other. Peter rose his wine glass, "To tonight. To us."

"Here, here." Jen said, clinking their glasses together then taking a sip from their glasses.

"Oh, I almost forgot! Hope you saved room for desert." Peter stood up and went to his fridge. "On my way home, I swung through Little Italy, literally, and saw this little bakery. My aunt told me about how incredible their cheesecake was so I just had to-" Peter said as he was opening the door only for Jen to immediately shut it. Peter had his back pressed up against the fridge while Jen pressed herself against him.

"Not that cheesecake doesn't sound great, but I think I have something sweeter you might prefer," she said with a wicked smile.

Peter eyes were wide as saucers and his throat was so dry you could hear an audible gulp.

"Oh boy."

Four Freedoms Plaza-Manhattan, New York

Reed walked into his and Susan's bedroom to see his beloved wife in her nightgown trying to make a call on her phone.

"Susan, what's wrong?" Reed asked.

Sue looked up with a curious look on her face, "Oh, it's probably nothing, Reed. I made three calls to Jen in the last forty-five minutes, but she still hasn't returned my call. She's always pretty quick to do that sort of thing."

"Oh I'm sure it's fine Sue, Reed said sitting on the bed and taking his wife's hand. "She's probably kept up at work. You know how fixated she can get. And that's coming from me."

Sue chuckled, "Very true. It does seem like she's all work and no play nowadays, doesn't she?"

Meanwhile, back at Peter's apartment...

The sound of Jen's vibrating cell on the kitchen counter could not be heard over the moans and screams of ecstasy. From the kitchen to the living room numerous articles of clothing were scattered. Boxers here. An extra-large bra and panty set there. Leggings dangling from the ceiling fan. A dress short with the buttons yanked clean off.

"OH, FUCK YEAAAH!" Jen screamed at the top of her lungs. Right there, on the floor, in the middle of Peter's living room, Peter had Jen in missionary. Her super strong and long legs curling around his waist to help deepen his rapid thrusts.

"Jen! You're so wet and tight! Ugh, you feel so good!" Peter growled.

"Right back at ya, big boy! Oh my God! I'm cumming again! I'M FUCKING CUMMING!" Jen shouted.

"You're not the only one! UHHHHH!" Jen's felt his explosive climax. She could feel Peter's seed rushing past her cervix,

"Thank God for that implant. I'd be knocked up for sure," Jen chuckled to herself. Pete lifted his head from the crook of Jen's neck and gazed down at her and she looked up at him with a warm tender smile. He leaned forward and planted a kiss on her lips which she eagerly returned. Her eyes widened in surprise when she felt Peter's tongue invade her mouth and she felt Peter's cock start to grow erect.

Peter gasped for air and smiled at her. "Sorry, got a little carried away there."

Jen gave Peter an amused look. "Oh, Peter. Long past being a virgin and yet so sweet and innocent. Well don't you worry, lover. I'll fix that right up."

She pushed Peter off of her and turned around all fours and wagged her large, sculpted rear, beckoning him. "Come on lovebug. I'm waiting."

Quick as a flash, Peter mounted Jen with her letting out a yelp of surprise. "Yay to show initiative. Now hang on to something. Things are about to get... sensational," she purred. Jen and Peter met each other thrust for thrust, both embracing their primal sides.

WHACK!

Jen gasped in surprise as she felt a warm, strong hand smack her bottom. She looked back and smirked at Peter, "Nice try, Pete. But if this legendary ass of steel can take a smack from Hercules without getting handprint, it won't from you. Sorry babe."

"Eh, can't blame a guy for trying. But I gotta say, grabbing this is ass is just as fun as smacking it." Peter dug his fingers and the dense, yet squeezable flesh of Jen's butt and began hammering into her. Loud noises of flesh slapping against flesh resounded throughout the apartment.

She-Hulk growled in pleasure at the feeling. "OH YEAH! NOW THAT'S HOW A MAN HANDLE'S HIS WOMAN!

No more than a half an hour later they both began to succumb to their need to release. With one final thrust Peter filled Jen up, both moaning in utter satisfaction, and a small stream of their mixed fluids began pour out of Jen. Jen collapsed face down on the floor with Peter laying on top of her, his root still planted deep inside Jen's gash.

Both were enjoying the afterglow of their copulation when Jen spoke up, "Hey, Pete?"

"Yeah, Jen?"

"You know... you still haven't shown me your bedroom."

The Excelsior-Manhattan, New York

Outside of the apartment building leaning against a black convertible was Carol Danvers and Jessica Drew waiting for Janet Van Dyne to retrieve Jen from home to have a spontaneous night out. They would assume that it would've taken forever for Jen to get ready for a night out, but they were wrong. Coming out of the doors to the lobby was Jane, but without their emerald hued friend.

"Where's Jen?" Carol asked.

"She wasn't home," Jane said. "I called Patsy to see if she was at her office, but she said Jen ducked out of work a little early."

"So, if Jen isn't at the office or home, where the hell could she be? And what would be so important that Jen would leave work early?" queried Jessica.

Back at Peter's Apartment...

"Mmmmm! How's the view from down there, Pete?" Jen asked. Currently, Jen gripped the headboard of Peter's bed while she gyrated her hips, with Peter's cock being stimulated by contours of Jen's love tunnel. Her large bosom was hanging down in front of his face, just within his mouth's reach. He couldn't resist such an opportunity. He latched his mouth onto one of her erect nipples.

Jen gasped and moaned. Never had she met a man who expertly maneuvered their tongue to stimulate her breast in such a way. "OH BABY! Just be sure the other one some attention, ha-ha!" Peter did that just that and at the same time he grasped Jen's hips and began slow, deep thrusts.

"Yes, that's it! Hit that sweet spot! It's all yours, Pete!" she screamed. Peter freed his mouth from Jen's tit and gasped. "Jen! I can't hold back anymore! I'm so close!"

"I'm right there too! I'M-AHHHHH!" Jen fell onto her lover, both panting and their love juice mixed in soaking their laps. After several moments, Jen stared up at Peter and Peter stared back at Jen, their faces fixed in warm and loving expressions.

"Hey there, Queen Green," Peter chuckled.

"Hey yourself, Lovebug," Jen said huskily.

"So... now what?" Pete asked.

"I got a few pretty good ideas," Jen purred in his ear

An Hour Later...

"HAHAHAHA!" The two heroes laughed. Peter and Jen curled up with each other in Peter's king-sized bed enjoying some late-night television. The state of Peter's room after his and Jen's romp remained unchanged other than the empty dishes littered with cheesecake crumps and wine glasses that had been emptied and refilled several times.

"God, I love Jimmy Fallon! Best comic genius ever!" Peter exclaimed.

"He's good, but what about Seth Myers?" Jen asked.

"Eh, ok it's debatable," Peter chuckled. He turned his gaze from the tv to the green skinned amazon. Her gaze met his and they both smiled warmly at each other.

"That was... You're... Amazing," Peter said.

"Peter... that was-" Jen started.

"Jen it's ok. I know about the other kind's guys you've had before me. Hercules, Tony, even that creep Starfox even though that was WAY back in the day. I might not be as EXPERIENCED as they are, but-"

"Pete, stop. You really got to let a girl finish what's she's going to say. What I was trying to say before I was rudely interrupted is that you are the best I've ever had. No contest."

Peter just blinked at Jen. He looked like he was about to speak, then shut his mouth. His face then turned to one of befuddlement. "But... Hercules an Olympian god."

"Yep," Jen stated matter-of-factly.

"And Starfox is a Titan."

"Yep."

"So, I-"

"Congratulations Mr. Parker, you just out-fucked an Olympian and Titan. What are you going to do now?" She-Hulk said in her best announcer voice.

Peter stared back at her and grinned, "It's not what I'm gonna do... it's who."

With that Peter jumped on top of Jen. Both rolled off the bed in heap of blankets and naked flesh with Shulkie squealing in delight.
