Hello and welcome back to the next chapter of Tales of Tamers Xilla!. We are finally up to chapter 10 of the story. We still have a bit to go before we finish up the Merlot arc. So let get right to it. Disclaimer: I don't own Digimon, The Tales series, Bleach, Sword art online, Fairy Tail, Rouruni Kenshin, Darling in the Franxx or Rwby. They all belong to their respected creators. I do own any OCs that appear in this story. Now on with the show!

Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: The gang return to Beacon to report about what they learn. They discover that the security devices were sabotages by A former Scientist Merlot, he was in charge of the Mountain Glenn settlement in Vale. He the reason why the city fell because of his experiment on the Creatures of Grimm. Thet gang decide to go to Mountain Glenn to search Merlot building in order to find info on him. Along the way they ran into another of the runaway Digimon Lunamon. She seems to get along with Elize quite well. The group soon came to the Merlot building where they were ambush by a Gorillamon and a group of Troopmon. The battle was tough, but in the end Elize and Lunamon show their bravery as they became partners. Lunamon digivolve to Lekismon and defeat Gorillamon. But then the Merlot building collapse on the heroes leaving their fate unknown.

Under the surface

Takato POV: Uh my head, what going on? I slowly open my eyes to see to Rika and Elize looking over me with looks of worry. "You ok Goggle head?" Rika ask. "I'll live love." I said as I sat myself up. I saw that were in a large pit. "Is everyone ok?" I ask. "Yeah thanks to Elize and Weiss, they put up a barrier to protect us before the building came down." Jaune said. "Why that happen anyways?" Nora ask. "The building was rig to explode. I saw a flash in the lobby before it fell." Sven said. "It was most like set to go off should Gorillamon fail. so much for looking for info on Merlot." Kenji said. "Great there goes our lead." Jerico said as he kicks a rock. "So what now?" Agumon ask. 'We should head back to Beacon and tell Ozpin what happen." I said. "But were stuck in this pit." Nora said. 'Then we best find a means to reach the surface." Alice said. "Right let get going." Ruby said as we start to head deeper into the cave. "So this must be part of Mountain Glenn." Keisuke said as we look at the underground buildings.

"Yes, as part of the construction of Mountain Glenn. They plan to build an underground Railroad to the main city, but then the Grimm came." Weiss said. Suddenly Blake stop walking as she begin to look around. 'Something wrong Blakey?" Yang ask her. Blake narrow her eyes as she focus above us. "Were not alone, someone been following us since we enter the cave. Show your self now!" She shout. "Well well, someone is clearly quite observant, here I was hoping to watch you a little bit longer." A female voice said as something drop from the shadows. It look to be a Gatomon, but her fur was pitch black. Her eyes were a dark yellow and her gloves were held up her D-arc. "Uh it says she a [Blackgatomon champion level bewitching beast Digimon. She is known to bring misfortune to those around with her shadow paw and cat gaze attacks.]" She said. "Wait they a Blackgatomon?" Ruby ask.

"Yes, some Digimon have a black verson of themselves, like Garurumon did." Ryo said. "Really now." Said Jaune. "So, what she doing following us then" Zoey ask as we look at the Cat Digimon. Blackgatomon smirks at us. "What you children don't remember me? I don't blame you thou, I was in my mega form the last time we met." She said. "So we met you before?" Ryo said. "Only the female Tamers, after all I did try to breaks your hearts." She said. With out warning Rika, Zoey and Alice points theirs weapons at Blackgatomon. "Lilithmon!" Rika shout. "Lilithmon?" Ren ask. 'One of the seven demon lords. A group of Digimon we encounter a while back, she cast a spell that cause all the men to vanish. Luckly the girls stop her." I said. "Why are you here bitch!" Zoey shout. Blackgatomon got on her hand and knees. Her head was lower. "To atone for what I did to you." She said in a sincere tone. "Atone?" Pyrrha ask.

"Yes, I wasn't always a bad Digimon you see. I was born into a tribe of Gatomon, being a Blackgatomon made me an outcast to my tribe. They believe me to be bad luck. All I ever wanted was to be accepted by others, then Lucemon found me and gave me the code key of lust. It corrupted me and you know the rest." She said. "That doesn't explain how your here now." Rika said. "After you defeated me, my digicore went to the dark area. My data was purge of the darkness of the code key. Then a roge man came to me and told me I can atone foe my crimes by helping you all with this current threat." Blackgatomon said. "You mean why Digimon are appearing on Remnant?" I ask. "Yes." She said. "Even after Hearding all of this, why should we trust you?" Koga ask. But suddenly Blake stood in front of Blackgatomon in defense. "I believe she telling the truth." She said as the Digmon look at her in surprise. "You believe in me?" She ask. Blake nod." I do, your words are sincere." She said.

"How can you be certain of this Blake, she is an past enemy of the Tamers." Sven said. "It the looking her eyes Sven Their the same look I have in mine. Like her I too wish to atone form my mistakes." Blake said sadly. "Your mistakes?" Hiro ask. Blake look away as Ruby put a hand on her shoulder. "It ok Blake, you can tell them, they are our friends." She said. Blake nod as she look at us. "What do you all know of the White fang?" She ask. "From what we know there a Faunus terrorist group." Hackmon said. 'They weren't always like that, I should known I used to be one of them. I was born into it really, I was a kid I was at every rally and protest. For a while everything was ok, we wanted to make things better for the Faunus. Until a few years ago when our old leader step down. From there things begin to change, our peaceful protest became organize attacks, innocent people were getting caught in the crossfire. They were fearing us. I couldn't take it any more, even my own partner became a monster. So I left to become a huntress, to make a new start. All with the help of a little black bow." She said as she took off her bow to reveal cat ears on her head.

I chuckles. "So you were a part of the White fang so what." I said as she look at me in shock. "I mean we all make mistake in our lives sure, but that mean we'll condemn you for them. Who you were in the past doesn't matter, your our friend Blake were here for you all the way." I said as everyone nods. Blake smiles as she put her bow back on. "Thank you everyone, so what do we do with Blackgatomon?" She ask. "She'll come with us for now, Blake since you trust her you can look after her." I said. "Thanks for the voice of confidence Tamer of the Hazard." Blackgatomon said. "Now let find a way out of here." I said as my scroll ring. "Hello Prof. Olbeck?" I ask. "Ah students I'm so glad your all alright, the pilot told me that the Merlot building was destroy and I was worry." He said. "Were fine Prof, but were sort of stuck underground." Yang said. 'Worry not, I have explore the underground of Mt Glenn several times. Takato, I sent you a map that should lead you to the surface." He said.

"Thanks Prof, we call you when we reach the surface. Let go guys." I said as we start to move on. After an hour of walking we soon came to a railroad. "Ok, according to the map, we should follow the track until we reach a lift to the surface." I said. 'Head up we got company." Zubamon said as we see Grimm coming. It was a group of creepers, but they were different. They were bigger with green markings and with green spikes on their backs. "Uh why do they look like that?" Ask Nora. "Don't know but it not good." Rika said as they came at us. "Slash wing!" I shout as I cut one down as it explodes. What the hell is with these things. "Pyro sphere!" Guilmon shout as he blast one. "Rapid barrage!" Rika shout as she slashes a few. "Diamond storm!" Renamon shout she took out a group. "Teepo stray!" Elize shout as Teepo shot at them. "Tear shoot!" Lunamon shout as she shot one down. Kenji sent a dozen shots into the Grimm. 'Teen ram!" Hackmon shout as he tackle into one.

'Ryusuishosen!" Hiro shout as he jump and stab into one. "Katana attack!" Ryudamon shout as he sent a blade at one. "Skewering spear!" Zoey shout as she stab one. "X-scratch!" Meicoomon shout as she slashes one. One creeper jumps at Keisuke as he swung his sword to knock it away. '20 dive!" Zubamon shout as he slams into one. Sven uses his chains to grab a few and throw them away. 'Metal blast!" Dorumon shout as he blast a few down. Ryo fire his tonfa at one causing it to explodes taking out a few more. "Fire breath!" Monodramon shout as he shot purple flames at some. Alice use her sword whip to cut one in half as it explodes. "Black beam!" Dobermon shout a he destroy a group. Jerico slide pass a few gunning them down. "Peeper breath!" Agumon shout as he shot one. Koga punch a Grimm into another as they explodes. 'Blue cyclone!" Gabumon shout as he spun and sent blue fire balls at them.

Ruby swung her scythe to force the Grimm back. 'Poison ivy!" Palmon shout as she grab one and threw it into a group. Weiss held out her sword as a black glyph crush a Grimm into the ground. Blake change her weapon to a kurisama and use it to swing into a Grimm to knock it off an edge. A Grimm jump at the cat girl from behind. 'Cat gaze!" Blackgatomon shout as she shot it with a purple eye beam. Yang thrust her fist out and shot several shots into them. Jaune use his shield to block a charging creeper that was about to explode. 'Wall Raltz!" Ludomon shout as he tackle it away. Pyrrha threw her spear at one taking it out as she soon call back to her to stab another. Ren saw a loose rock above us as he shot at it causing it to crush some Grimm. Nora cries out as she slam her hammer to sent the last one flying. "Those weren't normal Grimm." Kenji said worry. "It like they were enhance or something." Rika said. 'What does this mean?" Palmon ask. I took out my Scroll to call Olbeck. "Prof, we have a problem. We just ran into a group of mutated Grimm." I said.

'Mutated Grimm, I see what we know of Merlot, he try to enhance the Grimm. But he didn't made ant progress until now it seems. Do you know where the Grimm came from?" He ask. 'By the look of it, they were coming from the tracks." I said. "I see, then the map I gave you should lead you to Forever falls. The rail way extend through them. I believe that the mutated Grimm should lead you to Merlot." He said. "Will do sir." I said as I hang up. "Let proceed." Weiss said as we start to walk for ward. As we walk I saw Blake was talking with Blackgatomon. "Thank you for your help earlier." Blake said. "Consider it thanks for defending me." Blackgatomon said. "You simply wish to atone for your sins." Blake said. "So do you, You and I are a lot of alike, we strays should stick together." She said as she hop onto Blake Shoulders. The cat Faunas smile. "Perhaps we should." She said. "Look like they took a liking to each other." Ryo said. "Look like it, they wishes to make up for theirs past mistakes.

We soon came to a metal gate. Me and Ryo push it open. We saw a large device on a mine cart. "What this thing?" Nora ask. "That is a bomb, a powerful one by the looks of it," Sven said. "By the size of it alone, it could destroy the whole cave." Koga said. "What why is it here?" Elize ask. "I put it here." a voice said. We turn to see a tall black armor lizard with hi tech visor. Ryo check his D-arc. "[Sealdramon champion level black ops Digimon. A highly skill assassin that will take out his targets with his Death behind attack.]" He said. "Why is this here?" I ask as I gesture to the bomb. "I was order to use it to seal off the tunnel. But now I'll use it to bury all of you and recover the runaways." He said as he press on his wrist. The timer on the bomb start to run down. "Shit, Pyrrha, Ren and Nora, the map said there a gorge nearby. It should be big enough to contain the blast." I said. "Right." Ren said as they start to push the cart.

"Worthless effort, you all will be dead soon." Sealdramon said. "We'll see about that, let go guys." I said. "Digi-modify Digivolvtion activate!" We shout.

Growlmon charges at Sealdramon as the black ops Digimon jumps and kick Growlmon in the face. "Fox tail inferno!" Kyubimon shout as she sent the fire balls at him. Sealdramon threw a grenade that explodes into water to put them out. "What the?" Rika ask. "My master have study you Tamers for some time, we are more then prepare for you." He said. "Strike fang!" Strikedramon shout as he charge at Sealdramon. Sealdramon side step him and trip the dragon man causing him to clash into the wall. 'Moon night bomb!" Lekismon shout as she thrust her fist and shot an energy ball at him. 'Death behind!" He shout as he vanish. He reappear behind her and struck her with his knife. "Fif cross!" Baohackmon as he rush at him. Sealdramon grab the dragon by the horn and threw him into Togemon knocking them down. "Nova blast/Howling blaster!" Greymon and Garurumon shout as they attack from two sides.

Sealdramon jump back as the two attacks went pass each other and hit the two Digimon. "Death behind!" Sealdramon shout he took out Ginryumon. "Power metal!" Dorugamon as he shot the spike as Sealdramon dodge it. He saw Meicoomon and Dobermon charging for him. He fire a bola to tie them together. "Vantheon!" Zubaeagermon shout as he spun at the merc. Sealdramon use his knife to block him and grab the weapon Digimon and then threw him into Tialudomon. "What weaklings." He said as he saw Blackgatomon. "Isn't this a surprise, a former Demon lord? I know who are you. Once so great and now your nothing, it best to put you down." He said as a shot glaze his cheek. We all look to see Blake with her weapon in gun mode. She was glaring at Sealdramon. "You be quiet! You have no right to speak to her like that. Yes Blackgatomon made mistake but so have I. We wish to make up for our sins. I will not stand for your mockery of her." Blake said.

"Blake, thank you it been some time since I had someone to stand by me. I and glad to call you my friend. So let do this brute in his place together." Blackgatomon said. 'Right." Blake said as a ball of light appear in front of her. She touch it a sit turn into a black D-arc with a purple ring. "Let go partner." Blake said as they charges at Sealdramon. The champion swung his knife at them. Blake quickly block it. "Shadow paw!" Blackgatomon shout as she gave him a barrages of punches to his chest. He try to slash at her only for Blake to kick him in the chin. "Cat gaze!" Blackgatomon shout as she blast a hole in his chest. "A soldier like me beaten by a couple of cats." Sealdramon said as he dissolve into data. 'That was rough." Jaune said. "Yeah but we won." Jerico said. "I'm surprise Blackgatomon didn't digivolve." Yang said. "It not time yet." The black cat said. We soon heard a explosion. We saw to see the rest of Team Jnpr coming. "The bomb been dispose of." Pyrrha said. "So what did we miss?" Nora ask. "Well the cats are partner now." Zoey said. "Really?" Ren ask. "They are, we'll give you the details on the way. Let head to the surface." I said. "Right the next spot Forever falls." Ruby said as we left the cave.

Erika: It appear Keisuke and the other made it to the Forever falls. Now they must follow the tracks to find he source of these mutated Grimm. Next time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: Chapter 11: End of the line. I swear that boy can make me worry.
